Abnormal Card Contest - Judging has begun

Another quick contest because I love making them. Standard prize list, and an end date onnnn the 26th (like, midnight or whatever... it's actually whenever I log on afterwards).

 

Soooo I'm ever-so-slowly creating cards for a would-be booster pack, called "Dissident Souls". Seeing as packs are 80 cards (no way am I doing 100...), I need help. Kinda.

 

For the contest, I need all entrants to make unorthodox (abnormal-ish) cards. You can use stupid archtype (check out the "Om Nom Heroes"), strange game mechanic (as in "Relic Snatcher"), or do something else... but it needs to be abnormal... AND interesting.

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned by removing 4 or more Spell or Trap Cards from play. The ATK of this card becomes the number of cards on the field x200. This monster's battle position cannot be changed except by card effect. When your opponent activates a Spell or Trap card that negates the attack of this monster, negate the effect of the card and destroy it.

While this card is in your Extra Deck, the Level of this card is equal to the number of cards in your hand x2. If you have more than 6 cards in your hand, the Level of this card is treated as 12. The ATK and DEF of this card is equal to the number of cards in your hand x600. Once per turn, you can discard 1 card from your hand to destroy 1 card on the field. If this card destroys a monster with 2000 or less ATK, you can Tribute this card to inflict damage to your opponent equal to te number of monsters on the field x500.

 

Doesn't get much stranger =/

Remove from play for the rest of the duel all 1st Edition monsters on the field. While this card is removed from play, neither player can play 1st Edition spell or trap cards. When this card would be sent to the Graveyard, remove it from play instead.

·Super rare-Double the card's original ATK till the end of the Battle Phase.

·Ultra Rare-Destroy the attacked/attacking card with this card's effect without applying damage calculation.

Lore:

You can add this card from your hand to your Extra Deck. If you do, declare 1 Card Frame Color (Yellow, Orange, Blue, Purple, Green, Magenta, White or Black.). As long as this card remains in your Extra Deck, neither player can play a card with the declared Frame Color. If this card is in you Extra Deck, you can add it to your hand and declare 1 Type of effect (Remove from play, Draw, Search Deck, Increase Life Points, etc.). For the rest of the duel neither player can activate the declared Type of effect. If this card is in you hand, you can add it to your Deck and declare a vocal. As long as this card is not in your Graveyard, neither player can play a card with the declared vocal in it's name.

I have no excuse. I'm sorry to all of you. This is the list:

 

1st -- "~JG~"

"Highlyfe Commander" is excellent. There's danger, and I don't know how useful he'd really be (I mean, I'm thinking he's either lvl 6 or 4... and sometimes it'll be the one you don't want). But his other effects are quite nice, and he's CERTAINLY out-of-the-box. Great job with the visuals and OCGSP too.

 

2nd -- "ChaosIncarn"

"Rarity Seeker" has a great picture, though your OCGSP isn't hot. He doesn't seem very useful, since his effect has nothing to do with Ghost Rares, Ultimate Rares, Secret Rares, and Common Rares. But you get concept points for his effect, and I just can't stop staring at that picture...

 

3rd -- "blackwing master"

"Phantom Destroyer" is a good card. You said it was just for fun, but it's much better than all your other entries. Had you worked out the OCGSP and made it your entry, you would have made it to 2nd. This guy locks down DAD, all the "Dark" variants, plus "Allure" and a few others. It'd be fun to play, and it's also original... this ability exchanges decently with the 0/0 stats, though if you're hurting both players, I'd raise the stats. I was hoping to see a card that detriments your opponent without affecting you (so that you can pull DAD, while your opponent is stuck... I see Z-Hero use here).

 

Your "Snowy" Dragon monster was completely normal for a card, and a bit overpowered too.
