At first I wanted to write a nicely detailed entry that would at least try to give the players a feeling about what they're getting into. However, I've found a much more appropriate video, detailing what's going to happen and such in this RP. Enjoy.

Now that we have the visual aid out of the way, I feel the need to post something.

So I will.

The city of Gotham is a scary place. Anything that can go wrong, has gone wrong and is wandering the streets ready to kill you. From corrupted attorneys to man eating bats, Gotham has it all. While confronted by these seemingly insane villains, Gotham's police remain ever vigilante to protect the city and it's inhabitants. While it seems like suicide to live in a city such as Gotham, it does have it's protector. The only man who keeps this city safe from super villains such as the Joker.

The Dark Knight.

The Caped Crusader.

Gotham Knight.

The World's Greatest Detective.

Batman.

This is where you come in.

You are an odd individual. Born and raised in Gotham, you eventually reach that age where you have to make a decision. Whether you assist the local gangs and hopefully live a semi-successful life, or join the force and have the thought of your death lingering above your head. In any case, Gotham is yours for the taking. Now will you go and conquer Gotham? Or die protecting it?

Note, these are the ones available as of now.
Name:

Side: (Heroes/Villains)

Bio: (Something short detailing your past life.)

Connections: (Characters you know personally. And no, Batman isn't an option unless you give me an excellent application.)
For those that care to join as a character in the Batman universe, such as Scarecrow, you're expected to send a example of your skills as RPing as that character. Most will be accepted automatically, I just want to see how good you'll do. However, applying for positions such as Batman/Joker/Riddler are much more difficult. Mainly because their personality is harder to pull off well. So I will be strict when it comes to them.

All other RP rules apply.

Also, if a position is taken, you can still apply for it. Just send an example and whoever has the better one keeps the position. Of course, you'll have to wait for a chapter in the RP to end, seeing as it wouldn't work if suddenly someone switched characters. In any case, that example that is sent in to claim an already taken position, must be incredibly good. As I won't simply hand away someone elses position.

I was actually considering Killer Moth/Firefly. But I thought that no one would really know of them, and I would really only add them if this RP ever grew big. But since it's you Proto, I'll add both.

While I'm at it, new rule added and changed the character list to show who's currently taken.

((Screw it. Let's just start.))

Hehehehehehehe!

That demonic laugh Gotham all knows and hates was once again echoing through the city. At the city hall, once could see the perfectly arranged police cars. Their doors open and police at their stations. Guns trained at the grand hall doors. It was almost a tradition for this to happen every month or so. The Joker or some other villain would hold the mayor at gun point, with the Caped Crusader flying in and taking them out.

This time... It was different.

Two SWAT trucks pulled up on the main street leading to the hall. Stopping just in front of the barricade of cop cars. The loading point of the truck burst open, as SWAT specialists filled themselves out of the truck and began to position themselves behind certain cars. In between the two trucks was a lone cop car with several officers.

One of the officers had his eyes strained towards the hall door. His white dress shirt and dark brown trench coat differentiated him from the others. His ebony hair fell to his shoulders, and was quite messy. Hands in his pockets, another man walked up behind him and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"You okay Dom?" The gruff voice of Officer Gordon shook him slightly.

"I don't like it. Joker doesn't hold out this long. If anything, we would of had some reports of his goons robbing a bank or something like that."

Gordon nodded, as if agreeing.

"Let's just wait until the World's Greatest Detective gets here."

With a roll of eyes, the two turned to the other gathered men at the scene.

Tonight's going to be long...

||||Harold had been walking the streets, thinking once more, as he often had, about joining the force. He wanted to help make Gotham a better place, but truth be told, he was afraid. He knew that the madness that he had inherited from his father Harvey still lay dormant within him, even now. Did he even want to risk the suffering of others from his going mad, even though he had thought that he had done what his father couldn't and mastered it?

||||Just as he was about to decide to head back, he finally came out of his thoughts just long enough to notice that there was a very loud commotion going on down the street. What is this I wonder? he thinks as he quickly runs to the scene, keeping to the shadows so as not to be noticed. He continued until he was in the shadows just behind the furthest line of police cars and strained his eyes to see what was going on. He had no doubt that the mayor was being held at gunpoint, again. The only question was, who was doing it this time?

||||Deciding that he should go and check it out, Harold walks down the street and eventually reaches the line of police cars, not paying any attention to them. Eventually he reached Gordon and the guy that he had been talking to and stops just to the side of him, looking up at the building as he asks "So who is it this time?" Harold was certain that Gordon understood the question being asked and waited for an answer, wondering if he should try to jump in or not.

--okay fenrir, you're up!

The footsteps of his men, echoed down the stariwell as they ran to get the helicopter started. Two-Face on the other hand was taking the trek at a leisurley pace. He finally reached the top floor and was greeted by a large open area filled with tables and chairs aswell as a a reception desk.

"Hello Jenny, hold all my calls. We're off out," He called to the lifeless body of the reciptionist. She had a bullet hole in her forehead and was layed cheek to the desk, "Oh, and don't worry about finished the filing. Go home early." He let out a cold, but none the less cheerful laugh as he exited through the roof door. Two-Face had taken over this building after his last trip to Arkham Asylum, and although he allowed most of the bodies to be removed somehow, he still kept 'Jenny' at the reception desk. She would start to decompose fully soon and he would have to remove her, but until that point she would just lay there.

As Two-Face opened the soundproof doors, the loud sound of helicopter blades washed over him and entered his ears. He pulled out his coin and flipped it into the air. Hmmm. Should I pilot the copter or ride in it? He felt the silver disc fall into his ahdn and looked down to his palm. It's scarred side was face up.

"Damn it." He said putting the coin back, and drawing his pistol out from his suit jacket. Two-Face jumped up into the waiting vehicle and sat down in the passenger side seat.
