There is a "realistic" section.

Real types are realistic' date=' fake types are not.

In Pop and Any Other, there should be no problem.

Written is kinda like another form of Realistic, so they'll probably be frowned upon for not being truthful to the game, but not hated as much as in Realistic, since we're nicer.

What about new Archtypes? Is creativity looked down upon too?

I agree.

If anything, make archtypes.

The difference is that new Archetypes can and have been added freely at all times, whereas a new Type has only been added during a major game redesign.

Honestly, the problem with fake types is that 95% of fake types are completely pointless. They can certainly be done right, but most people just throw them around randomly for no apparent reason where they aren't even close to being necessary.

People get pissed off because they think Fake-Types are as Crow said, "Unprofessional" but to me Fake-Types are ways to express your ideas in cards. Warriors, and Dragons are fine, but it would be nice to see someone build around a new type. Singles aren't much of a hype, but when you create an entire arsenal of cards focused around a type of your own creation, that's cool.

Though when n00bs make Fake-Types and fail miserably with only making one and sucking at it, that does irritate me.
