After today, I cannot be on my computer for a week, so I give you two full control of this RP untill I can come online again. I hope you make your best to give this RP a good start.

 

[spoiler=Soul Gattai Explanation]

First of all:

[spoiler=Soul Gattai; The Card]

Soul Gattai

Normal Spell Card

Pay 2000 life points and Tribute 1 monster you control. Gattai Summon 1 Gattai Monster from your Extra Deck with the same name as the Tributed monster. The activation of this card cannot be negated.

 

[spoiler=Gattai Monsters]

Gattai Monsters has a red card frame. They all share this line in the begining of their effects: "This card cannot be Special Summon except by Gattai Summon. This cards name is treated as "*Whatever your Duel Spirit is*" when in the Extra Deck."

Gattai monsters can have rather OP'd effects, but not too OP'd. It would be good if the Gattai monster's effect resembled the Duel Spirit's effect, though.

 

[spoiler=The Gattai Summon]

The only way to summon a Gattai Monster is by Gattai Summon, and this special summon is only availible through the effect of Soul Gattai. As for RPing, a Gattai Summon is performed by fusing a part of your soul (the life points) into your Duel Spirit (the tributed monster).

 

 

The New Plot

Three years ago, the world was struck by the betrayal of the multi-million company SI:N, who was thought to be a company trying to make life better, but the people of the world was wrong. SI:N was lead by a group of duel spirits who saught to rid the world of darkness. Their pursuit on darkness made them corrupted, and it ended in the destruction of multiple cities. Now, three years later, SI:N is gone, and it has been replaced by Oblivion, another multi-million company. Oblivion has now invented a watch that can be used as a time machine. However, the watch was tested by a weird man who called himself Paradox. When the man got his hand on the watch time and space started to crumble, and a new war is about to begin. Oblivion has chosen a finite number of skilled Gattai duelists to fight Paradox and his minions, but to do this Oblivion injected the Gattai duelists with the power of the "Original Oblivion", which caused them to have darkness in their hearts, as well as making their eyes look like thsoe of Dark Signers. Are you ready to choose your side?

Appearance: He has grown longer since the original Gattai!! RP, and his black hair is now straight and longer. His eyes are black, like all Oblivion duelists, with a blue iris. His hair is covering the right eye when his face is seen from the front. He wears a brown coat with a red shirt underneath. He also wears blue jeans and leather boots.

Personality: The once cheerfull and wild Cyrus is now a cool, silent and serious leader.

Biography: After the events three years ago, Cyrus has grew to become a more mature person. He also ended up marrying Sapphire (remember that blue haired girl at the tournament?)

 

Name: Sapphire "Saph" Grounder

Duel Spirit: Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier

Gattai Card: Neo-Trishula, Dragon of the Frozen Wastelands

Appearance: She has long, blue hair and her eyes is like all Oblivion duelists black with a sapphire blue iris. She wears a white dress most of the time and her face is almost always sporting a smile.

Personality: After that her husband, Cyrus, got more serious, Sapphire has adapted her husbands old personality and is a playfull and happy girl. She can be serious, however.

Biography: Well, she's married to Cyrus and is from a rich family. She met her lover when a bomb exploded during a Duel Tournament. There isn't very much more to be said.

Appearance: [spoiler=][u]Gonna describe this time cos the pic in the old one was very stupid. Her's the description:[/u] Kris' hair has changed now from it's whitey colour to a dark brown almost black and he has cut it shorter. He has the black dark signer iris but his company have made a contact lense which makes you appear to have normal eyes. He is testing it. He sometimes wears a black suit but usually just wears a black jacket and Dark blue jeans.

 

Personality: Friendly and sometimes happy, but also silent alot. He doesn't like to act like the boss or like anybody to act like he's the boss. However, despite being friendly he still has his temper so when something pisses him off whoever did better step a mile back.

Biography: [spoiler=Original Bio:] He was an orphan at three, found on the doorstep of an orphanage with a briefcase that wouldnt open for anyone but kris as it had his fingerprints match up on it. Inside the case was a dueldisk and a deck, the oblivion deck. He grew up in the orphanage dueling every body and never losing, at 13 years old he ran away from the orphanage trying to find a better life and created the oblivion, a secret underground, shadow dueling group whos motives were unknown. Just edited a bit.

 

[spoiler=Now]Kris is now the head of the new Oblivion, not a gang now but a World famous Multi million pound/Dollar company. It has replaced and out grown SI:N and now makes things to help modern society. They have made things like a cure for Cancer and a rocket that can take humans to Mars. He is not married or anything. He still duels but undercover as a man called Kyle as he doesn't get much of a challenge in the company.

Vicky's Notes: The card that started it all. This little number is the card that dueling now revolves around, at least, in this reality. Play this card, and you can upgrade your favorite monster into a monster of a monster. Generally, paying half of your starting amount of LP seems a bit high, but it is SO worth it!

Notable Appearances: Too many to list! Virtually every duel I have observed in this dimension has had this card played in it somewhere!

My old character, VX.

This will include some stuff I had planned for the end of the original Gattai, so just letting you know.

If this monster inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, inflict 600 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. Then, this monster can attack again. This card cannot be Special Summon except by Gattai Summon. This card's name is treated as "Silver Slayer - Ophelia of the Rippling Blade" when in the Extra Deck. This monster can attack while in Defense Mode. If this card attacks while in Defense Position, apply the ATK of this card for damage calculation. This card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Each other face-up monster your opponent controls loses 100 ATK x its own Level.

 

 

 

 

Appearance: A strange woman clad in what looks like a very sexy black bodysuit that has chunks cut out of it, revealing skin in places. The "suit" is black and rubbery, with glowing, pulsing purple circuitry all over it. The "suit" wraps around her body, completely covering her left arm, hands, and legs, yet partly covers her torso upper limbs, and left arm, and forms an X-like mask over her face, with the center of the X on the bridge of her nose.

The "suit" is actually made out of her hair, which is not only malleable, but also prehensile and can expand and contract. Furthermore, the "suit" is actually a massive colony of nanobots, or "nannies", as Vicky affectionately calls them. This colony keeps the former body of Xandra alive, and acts as a sort of symbiote.

VX has pale skin with black tendrils underneath parts of it that are close to the "suit", long, pitch-black "hair", and bluish-purple eyes with black sclera and eyeliner.

Xandra's mental self looks like a young, dirty-blonde girl with VX's face, but with a pair of glasses, a lanky build, and blue eyes, usually wearing a T-Shirt and jeans, whereas Vicky's mental image is similar to VX's, but the face is different, yet the bodysuit completely covers her body except for her face, her hair is a separate entity from her suit, and her eyes are purple.

VX's left arm has a Duel Projector, a device that is the descendant of the Duel Disk, needing no physical cards, while VX's right arm has a patch of bare skin with something that looks like a purple version of the clone Signer birthmark from WC09.

Personality: The two parts of VX regularly clash due to their different personalities. On one hand, you have Vicky, who is a complete badass and is usually a voice of reason, and on the other hand, you have Xandra, who cares about others and wants to help out anyone she can.

Biography: Victoria Chronos, formerly Victoria Atlas, the daughter of Jack and Carly Atlas, was sent from a dark, bleak future (2056) to change the past (2042) and prevent her reality from happening. She succeeded, altering history.

But on August 5, 2043, she woke up to find her world had stopped in time. She, not originally being from that reality, was spared, but she quickly went insane, until a mysterious masked man came along.

She managed to use the space-time continuum hole he left behind to transport to many other realities, trying to fond the masked man so that she may get revenge on her timeline.

Until she accidentally opens a rift into the current reality of Yu-Gi-Oh! Gattai, but in near-Earth orbit.

She burns up upon atmospheric entry, and SI:N, detecting a massive amount of dark energy from the remains of the cyborg Dark Signer, collected the remains. The nanobot colony, with Vicky's consciousness inside, tried to wreak havoc in their labs, but the organization found that the "alien" could be sedated using a constant EMP.

They kept Vicky locked away for years, until they brought in Xandra to be tested on.

Xandra was a relatively normal girl who simply happened to have a pair of Duel Monster Spirits crash into her backyard, which she bonded with. Unfortunately, those Duel Spirits, Clare and Raki, happened to be the survivors of a massive battle against SI:N, and SI:N promptly kidnapped Xandra in order to get Clare to become "corrupt", which would cause her to transform into a hideous beast.

But the plan backfired, and the newly-formed VX liberated many other Silver Slayers, adding each one to her Deck as she went.

She was eventually summoned by Sarin, who had already collected the remaining Silver Slayer cards, and left Oblivion to defeat SI:N.

She popped back in shortly after SI:N's downfall not only to redeem Priscilla, a Corrupted Slayer, but also to offer Kris an opportunity to join SI:N.

Kris declined, and VX returned to C3 HQ, leaving Kris behind with a cryptic message:

"When it comes to alternate realities, there is rarely an instance where there is such thing as being one-of-a-kind."

Now, 3 years later, VX has returned with Princess Judai, a junior member of C3, to help Oblivion fight this version of Paradox, who, interestingly enough, seems to be supported by the original Paradox's forces as well...

Kuribel

(Kuribel looks like Yubel, but her wings are black angel wings instead of her demonic-looking wings, her body is completely covered by her bodysuit save for her head, but her bodysuit is white, and she has a much paler complexion, with her skin being almost white. Her hair still sticks out, but she also has long, flowing hair that turns into two spiraling braids that end in claws. Her lower limbs are also covered in a black fur that ends in claws, and she has a black, wolf-like tail.)

This card cannot be Special Summon except by Double Gattai Summon. This card's name is treated as "Yubel" and "Winged Kuriboh" when in the Extra Deck. This card also counts as a DARK monster and a Fairy-type monster. This monster cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card. this card battles an opponent's monster, at the end of the Damage Step, destroy the the monster that battled with this card. Then, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster, and gain Life Points equal to that monster's DEF. When one of your opponent's monsters attacks, you may change the attack target to this monster instead of the original attack target.

 

 

 

 

Appearance: A young woman that has a remarkable resemblance to the legendary duelist Jaden Yuki. They have the same hairstyle, only hers is a tad bit longer on the sides and bottom. Her dress is similar to the Slifer Red dorm's uniform, but tailored for girls and having a long flowing blouse. Her outfit is complimented by a tiara. She also has a more casual outfit that looks like the female Slifer Red uniform, complete with polarized glasses where her tiara would be.

She has a strange Duel Disk that is attached to her left arm. At first glance it looks like an Academy Duel Disk, but it is actually made out of a lightweight metal, and is ornately engraved. The Life Point indicator doesn't use a digital readout, but instead uses a rolling gauge. Furthermore, her cards don't seem to be made out of the normal type of paper, and instead are hand-drawn and inscribed with some illegible writing. Her cards also seem much more real than the Solid Vision system, as if they were being magically summoned...

She also has a chariot pulled by four white horses that she uses as her Duel Runner. It is of the same metal as her Duel Disk, and has a special stand where her Duel Disk can be placed. She can summon her chariot via a special card she keeps in a hidden slot under her Duel Disk. It also has special devices used in a Turbo Duel, such as a speedometer and SPC counter, all similar to her Duel Disk in construction. It has a gate on the back that keeps her inside, and special straps for her to stay standing. Interestingly, the chariot can go about as fast as a real Duel Runner...

Personality: She is ditzy and a bit of a klutz, but she is very loyal and won't go down without a fight.

Biography:Formerly the princess of the Kingdom of Acadamia, one of her world's Five Duel Domains, she was about to marry Prince Johan Anderson of Nortland when he suddenly executed a coup d'etat. A mysterious masked man seemed to be behind this, and Johan's strange behavior and new orange eye color, and the princess pursued the man, only to fall into a time vortex the man left behind.

She landed in another reality, and managed to survive there until Sarin came along, looking for the princess. She joined C3, and is currently assigned to VX in order to discover whether the Paradox Oblivion is currently fighting is an alternate reality version of Paradox C3 is fighting, or a past version of the man......

Duel Spirit: Endymion, the Master Magician (gaven to by Kana's spirit), VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon.

Appearance: Itosuki has a much older look to him then in his role in Return of Yliaster. Though the center of it is broken, revealing his blue eyes, he still retains his Yliaster eyepatch and possess silver hair, worn short, and a deep scar in his left arm, obtained by traveling into this time with Paradox. His usual clothing is a tattered Yliaster robe, with a steel chestplate and both sleeves ripped off. His leggings are a pair of white pants with a black stripe running down them and he carries a silver sword with a golden hilt, originally belonging to his friend Kana.

Personality: Itosuki is extremely silent, most of his childish behavior has passed away though his optimistic behavior did not subdue, he is quite friendly when befriended but he does not trust any who follow Paradox's lead.

Biography: Itosuki was brought up by several past Yliaster members that trained him to fight for them and eventually become as high rank as Placido. When he was brought in he was respected as one of the youngest ones of the group and began training to live up to his dream. After his clash with the Signers and his defeat at the hands of Tomoe Ushio and Aki Fudo, he still gave obtions to the group and retained to be a active member. But then after the fall of his beloved cult, he and his best friend Kana, a fellow member. They both began to ally with the Signers, until one day a man named Paradox appeared in his dimension. Demanding the whole world be put into chaos both Kana and Itosuki grabbed onto his D-Wheel, which traveled to this time. But unfortunatly Kana was killed in the incident, having protected Itosuki from a possibly fatal blow from Paradox. After that Itosuki was then encountered with VX, becoming a member of C3 and has traveled back with them to learn more about Paradox.

I'm going to be starting a "Gattaipedia" on my first post of this thread that will feature any Gattai Monsters from this RP and the previous one.

It will be told from Vicky's point of view, and will include a link to that monster's greatest appearance, as well as Vicky's notes.

Does this sound good?

My only concern is that people will use the Gattaipedia to find out their opponent's weaknesses.

Personality: A Ruthless and Uncaring Person which acts usaly alone. He does quite offen give the cold sholder to people and at times just get plain pissed off. In duels hes Calculating and does not care what happens. But at time he will let down his guard and go soft; Showing his true colours of being a loney and unloved child whos growed up too protective.

Biography: Ryozei is the Son of Kana Zenfure and Sakura Istoshi who when was his age increadable duelists which met unfortunet ends after his birth. Forsed to grow up in a Rough orphange ruled by Duels; Ryozei inhereted his Parents Skill in dueling along with his fathers deck. Since nobodies applying for a Paradox character...

 

Name: Paradox

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Faction: Paradox

Duel Spirit: None

Gattai Card: None

Appearance: There's some notable differences between this Paradox and the movie Paradox. This one has yellow, spiky hair instead of long, blonde hair. Also, he lacks the scar but he still wears the same clothes, except for the mask.

Personality: Mean and evil, he is a mainiac, so to say.

Biography: What do you get when you give a mainiac a time-machine? The answer is Paradox. Nobody knows about his past or future, but he is known to ahev no Duel Spirit of his own, but it's unknown if he has ever had one. This is speculated to be the reason why he steals other duelists' Spirit cards.

 

This Paradox basicly has a Sin version of all of our Duel Spirits.

 

Come on, we need at least one more Paradox RPer and we can start!

This card gains 600 ATK for every removed from play monster used to summon this card. If there are no cards removed from play destroy this card. This card is unnaffected by cards in the graveyard.

 

Gattai Card: Making later

Appearance: Black haired with dark green eyes. Muscular build. He wears a long black cloak and a black jacket and blue jeans. He looks like Kris alot.

Personality: Witty and spiteful. He gets very jealous of Kris and hates him alot. He likes to make fun of other people.

Biography: The longlost twin of Kris. He was lost when a rift to another dimension opened and Derven was 'sucked' into it. He arrived on the other side of it and was found by Paradox. He was raised by Paradox but Paradox disappeared suddenly. He later met up with this Paradox who had the time watch and has travelled back to this dimension with Paradox as Paradox's right hand man.
