Spartan919
Clawborne nodded."You make a fair enough point. I will ask nothing more concerning your 'situation.' Whatever it may be, I wish to offer my services if ever you should need assistance in whatever you do." He turned, and looked at the man with the novel. "Hello, sir. May I inquire as to who you are?" Clawborne would have held out a hand, but decided against it, as he didn't shake Hawkeye's hand. "And may I ask what you are doing here?"
Naimo
Breakfast in the manor was a silent affair as usual, the only noise being the gentle chink of knives and forks hitting the silver plates their food was served on. Once breakfast was over, Gladys left the table, and returned to her room. She glanced outside, and noting that it was still raining, grabbed her usual outfit - a layered brown strapless dress, a black laced shirt underneath, and a gold and black bolero - and then hesitated as her eyes fell on the black chintz cloak; it was raining, and this time she would have to open her umbrella. She grabbed it anyway, then her umbrella, and paused again at the black hat which sat above her clothes. "Looks like I'll have to keep my hair down today," muttered Gladys as she grabbed the hat. She shut her wardrobe with her feet, and then donned on her newly picked clothes. It took a while to do up the cloak and to put the hat on correctly, but once it was done, a pleased smile was on her face. She quietly pulled out the ball and socket joint from her umbrella, and she tucked it into her cloak. As she admired herself from all degrees, she figured it would work. She made her way out of the mansion, lying guiltlessly to her parents as to where she was going, and she headed out into the rain, her umbrella open and keeping herself dry. Christian Exodia
"No, I am "General Blue". Former Militia member when I was forced to. Now i'm a retired man only of 19, & i'm of the Resistance. Secretly, loved by the Resistance, but still respected upon the Militia. My my, you of the resistance?" He asked Eron. He drinks a little water from a bottle he kept with. "Now, let's get aquainted, shall we boys? Weird me saying that, technically still a boy my jolly self." He starts a walk. "So Hawkeye, you gonna try to kill me?" He winks.
Saiba Aisu
Desdire strode through the many hallways of the Resistance Headquarters, his distinctive violet eyes flashing from side to side, taking in all the activity of the many workers, scientists, soldiers, and technicians hurrying around on their daily affairs... and all of their valuables, as well. Those gems are wasted upon that woman, he thought idly, watching a particularly chunky female secretary lumber past, the magnificent amethyst necklace at her throat barely visible under her many chins. He sighed slightly but continued walking—the truth was, he was finding it far too difficult to honor the promise he had made to the leaders of the Resistance Movement when he had offered his services to their cause against the Grundors. After all, the dark-haired man told himself consolingly, it's not my fault if people misplace their valuables in such a large place like this. Good humor restored, the violet-eyed thief made his way down to the ground floor of the Headquarters, part of which was devoted to a resting area filled with several chairs. As he stepped down the last flight of the stairs into the area, he noticed several people chatting idly while sitting down, apparently carefree. A purple-tinged bolt of lightning flew through the air suddenly and struck the table in front of the chattering trio, leaving a large scorch mark, and certainly gathering their attention. Desdire's hand was outstretched and spread, tiny flashes of electrical energy playing across its surface, and cool, displeased expression was on his face. "You there!" he demanded coldly, striding forward, boots clicking on the floor. "What do you think this is, a cafe? There are certainly more than enough tasks to be done for you three, so I suggest you stop gossiping and get to wherever you should be and get to work, quickly." Naimo
Gladys was now walking gingerly across the wet pavement, her skirt being held up in order to avoid getting mud on them, thusly exposing her expensive brown and gold slightly heeled boots, but she didn't care; what mattered was she didn't leave any suspicions behind as she headed to HQ. Her parents had believed her when she told them she was working "in a highly upper class restaurant" as a supervisor, thusly allowing her to get out of the house sufficiently long enough to contribute to the effort against the Grundors. She came to the entrance, and spotted Desdire, Hawkeye, Clawbourne and General Blue. She knew them from inside the HQ, and she approached them, now dropping her dress as all there was on the ground was a wet pavement, and nothing more. She brushed her cloak back and leaned her umbrella against her shoulder as she smartly approached. "Good morning Desdire," she said, giving each man a small bow as she spoke. She was clueless as to the others' names, having only recognised them by their face. "Quite an awful morning, isn't it? And I pray, what are your names?" she added, looking at turn to Hawkeye, Clawbourne and General Blue.
Lord JZ of the Enigma
It had been awhile since his last trip to the city, so he had taken a chance and decided to take what little supplies he had prepared. "I hope they don't get mad with an early delivery...." he needed this excuse to go ahead and just visit the Larger villages. "Who knows.....I may be needed soon enough....It's best to go know while there is always time." Honestly...he didn't know what he was talking about, maybe it was just the fact that he had no one to talk to for a very long time that he just makes up conversations with himself....and apparently half the conversation was in his head. Luckily, not too far ahead from the path was the village he was going to visit.
Saiba Aisu
OoC: Magnet, I think Otaku's character is called Eron... Maybe Hawkeye is just an alias. === Desdire's cold features thawed slightly as he turned from the suddenly apprehensive group consisting of Eron, Clawbourne, and Blue and greeted the expensively-dressed woman who had entered the Resistance Movement's HQ. "It's good to see you again, Gladys," he said warmly—although the violet-eyed thief was well-known for his lack of tolerance for incompetence among the Movement's recruits, he was fond of the red-haired woman. He knew, unlike many of the others who trusted to appearances, that beneath that polished silk exterior was a formidable warrior. "You're here to help again today, then?" he asked her, indicating that he knew all about her rich family's circumstances and the only way in which she could get out of home and assist the Resistance Movement. Christian Exodia
"Good to see you two again, Gladys & Desdire. It's the General. General Blue. I turned resistance after remembering who I fought for, the so called allies that my parents were taken & possibly killed by. The Grundors are now my enemy & I own a piece of their land. It's sickening & those who support the Grundors. Though, haven't seen you guys in a long time." He explained before waiting for a reply. Though, my life is stricken, I will continue. He thought. Infinitus
OOC: FYI, my character happens to lead the resistance. I meant to put that in his bio, but I only put it as the last line in his personality. Michael had quickly finished where he was going to strategically place all the traps around the HQ's perimeter, and decided that people would probably be arriving sometime soon. He decided to quickly put on his usual attire, as well as his golden gaunlets. However, one more task lay ahead of him. If there was one thing that could he considered a war enemy other than the Grundors, it was his hair. He entered his small restroom connected to his room and carefully groomed it to look sharp. Once satisfied with his look, he exited his quarters and walked down the hallway, proceeding with his daily routine. He proceeded with his daily routine, walking down the hallway, checking in on the constructors not too far off from his room to see how the setting up of the equipment in the soon to be finished training room to train more troops, seeing as there were quite short on man power. He proceeded through the hallway down a flight of wooden stairs to the leisure area, which was only supposed to be open at the end of everyone's shift, which was 7:30 PM, and made sure to encourage all the slackers that were down there to continue work. He then proceeded to the main hall, and saw a brown board to the left of him. This, was the Bulletin Board, where all news is posted. He grabbed a thumb tac from the array of tacs and nailed his trap blueprints to the wall. He then proceeded to meet up with some of the higher ranking troops, Desdire, Gladys, Hawkeye, and General Blue. His gold plated armor boots clacked on the stone tiled floor, and greeted all of them. "Good morning to you all! How's everyone today?"

Naimo
"Indeed Desdire, although of course, my parents have not the faintest clue as to the whereabouts - or the existence - of this restaurant I am supposedly working out," answered Gladys. She gave a polite nod to General Blue just as Michael appeared. "Good morning Michael, apart from the dreadful weather, I'm doing very well." She looked up, her hat almost falling off in the process. "Why don't we go inside rather than stand in the rain?"
Saiba Aisu
OoC: Magnet, I think you're a little confused. We're all standing inside the entrance area of the Resistance Movement... === "At least you're able to contribute your skills in some way," Desdire replied, pulling back his fingerless golden glove idly. He then turned to greet the approaching young man, Michael, who held an important position in the Resistance Movement. "Well, well," the violet-eyed thief said coolly. "If it isn't the man of the moment—good morning, Michael. I was just about to discuss some of the latest Grundor developments with Gladys and the rest of these recruits, but now that you're here, why don't you fill us all in on what we'll be doing today?" Christian Exodia
He nods back to Gladys, & put on his eyemask that profiles him as the "General Blue". Hosep looks around & removed the cape to himself. "If you mind, i'll be right back." He said as he went in momentarily to put up his cape, & gets back out. "The, you know, "Coordinates", you need, Michael." As he gave him the papers. "And, i'm hosting a party next week, guys." He hands them papers, different than the others. "You're all invited." He reached for The Phantom of the Opera, different than the other book he had, but it was in his coat. He went inside & got it.
Infinitus
OOC: Saibu, that also would've probably been a good addition to the bio. xD, I've been very forgetful lately, with more things than just roleplaying, so please bear with me. Michael put a satisfied smile on his face when he saw the coordinates that were handed to him. These would very well help him with a far more detailed map of the country, rather than a ragged map, especially in very strategically sound areas, or "key" areas of the war. Michael replied to Desdire as he thought about everything that he wanted to work on today. "Well, one thing I'd like to work on is the development and placement of traps around the perimeter of the area. It's a gift that we have not been ambushed in our sleep, without any kind of traps around the perimeter." "They are currently being developed, and after they are all finished we will set them up around the area. As for the rest of the time, we will be discussing areas that I have found, from studying recent information we have collected." Michael then proceeded to fish in his left pocket, like a man whom has lost his wallet, for the older map of the area, to see where he had marked as key areas. Otaku-sama
Eron quietly observed the Resistance at work. Planning a series of traps was a waste of time in his opinion. Traps only work once against the Grundor, they weren't stupid after all. When one dies, they would simply walk around it. Eron waited a bit more before getting up. "Excuse me, but I'm here to say that the man you put a bounty on is dead by my hands. If you want the body, it should be enroute to the morgue. If you please, I'm here to collect the bounty. Two thousand silver pieces if I remeber correctly."
Infinitus
Michael then turned his attention to what was, apparently, a bounty hunter from his statement. This matter of a bounty seemed new to him, and he began to think, trying to remember something about it. He thought aloud "Bounty, bounty, bounty...Ah yes! I remember!" It had then occured to him about the Grundor that had killed about 10 of a quite small amount of troops. There were maybe, 50 warriors, and it was a good thing that some of them were very well talented and obtained great power, such as Gladys, Desdire, and Hosep. Michael then fished in his pocket for yet another object, a small brass key. Michael quickly jogged to the bulletin board not too far off, about 10 feet away, and bent down to a small chest, no larger than a football. He used the key to open the chest, revealing the bounty. Michael yelled over to the hunter, saying "My apologies, but we have run out of silvers, so I put in 200 Gold Pieces, which should be of equal value to 2000 Silver." Michael then proceeded to hold the chest tight in his grasp, and stand straight up. He then proceeded to approach the bounty hunter slowly, as his armored boots clacked on the stone floor. Final Fantasy Revolution
A forest green cloaked whipped in the wind behind a man who was traveling North, through the forest to get to a small village that was rumored to be attacked any day by grundor. The forest had been turned into one of the best breeding ground for grundor, now that the world the humans all called home was turned into something completely different. A small group composed of six pawns appeared before the traveler. He drew his black bladed, sliver handled rapier and smirked at them. "You guys...ain't got no chance!" He shouted as he charged straight for the group of pawns...
Christian Exodia
Hosep returned with The Phantom of the Opera, smiling. "Your welcome, Michael. I got it from a Grundor beacon tower, one of the finest. I had to kill all Grundors inside to get all our enemies coords. Plus, some coords of other places they ransack, which could be the allies we need to win the war, that's what's in there you need to know." He explained. He opened his book to wait for something intresting to happen. "Well, what's about to happen, anyways?" He asks as he flips the page to get to more story. Otaku-sama
Eron accepted the small chest full of gold pieces. "Many thanks. I'll be one my way as soon as the militia decide that I'm out of the city," Eron said, taking the gold out of the chest and putting them into a pouch. As he stowed away his pouch, one could see the row of carefully crafted throwing knives on his belt. Eron took a spot in the corner of the room, apparently half idling and half listening to the Resistance go about their business. He listened to this Hosep character tell how he extracted a book from a Grundor stronghold. "So you attacked the Grundors so you can get a book? Must be some important book. Is it plans for a weapon, or battle plans?"
Christian Exodia
Yes Hawkeye. It contains all the coordinates of our enemies & best allies in farther places. You see, our neighboring village is overrun with Grundors, one of the best villages, & I snuck up the walls, then destroyed their Beacon Tower & killed off their men. Then I ransacked, could you take that?, the village's library, leaving very few books, all to my distaste. Then returned." He explained "So, that's how I did it. They woke up to a fire-set city. I forgot to mention, I set off a fire on their city's statue & Town Hall."
Infinitus
Michael stared at the coordinates on the map, scanning it as if he were searching for the Waldo that he ever so longed to find. Michael had then found exactly what he was looking for. His eyes widened, and he realized what he was looking for was a pattern, some sort of relation to the Grundors, and their numbers. Michael had noticed that the Grundors were heavily populated in 3 of the largest temples to Shynrioc in the entire land of Craios. If they happened to be heavily guarding the area around the temples, then they have something to protect. Michael looked up to those around them, and said "Alright, I think there is something important you all should know. That the Grundor population is most dense around the temples of Esther, Lucis, and Dranei. Very large and well known temples, I might add. Today, at 2:00 PM, we are going to scout out the area of the nearest temple, and see if we can find a way in without getting slaughtered. For now, we should probably set up the traps, at noon we could have a lunch break, then we will head out."
Spartan919
Clawborne, who had walked out when Michael started talking, walked into the building. He looked at all the people around him, and then down at the map they were all staring at. He grinned; though it looked more like a grimace. "So you guys are going to attack the Grundor camps? I think you might need some help, there are quite a bit of them. By the way, sorry but I just couldn't help myself. I had to know what you were doing. So...can I come with you to root out the beasts?"
Infinitus
Michael turned to Clawborne, who apparently was one of those people who listen in on everything around them and can't resist something that they like hearing, which in this case was really something that they could've used. Michael thought and replied "You know, I don't think it would be a good idea to just start jumping in and swinging swords, I was more thinking of a strategical plan, perhaps sneak in, and figure out what they were hiding in those temples. Maybe involve a few explosives, or set the area around the temple on fire to burn out, and maybe evacuate, a good portion of the Grundors." Michael then began to stare at the ground, imagining hima and the team using explosives and fire to snuff out the Grundors, and dive into the temple, however they may damage the temple, so they might have to bring some sort of large water source.
Spartan919
Clawborne looked at Michael; he could tell what he was thinking about him. "Just so you know, I do have the ability to resist, I just feel you will need help with the attack on the Grundors." He walked up toward the map. "Sneaking in is not my style, no honor...no fun. If we burn the area around the temple, we could be ruining perfect land, and great historical architecture." He pointed at the temples. "They're pretty closely clumped here. What if we used hit-and-run tactics? Take out a few at a time, retreat, repeat. Whittle away their numbers until they are a more...manageable size. I normally would just attack straight out, but I can tell that that won't work, and you're right, we need to be strategic."
Otaku-sama
Eron scoffed at Clawbornes notion of fighting with honour. Why fight with honour against foes who have none? "Honour? Pfft. Fighting the Grundors in the field is as good as suicide. You might as well hang everyone now to save them the trouble of a death by Grundors. Infiltration is a specialty of mine, and I'll help you plant the explosives, for the right price of course. Hire me, and they won't know what hit them."
