Hogosha grins, but only puts one card face-down before deciding to end his turn. "I want to see this spirit of yours." he says as an explanation for not attacking or activating any effects, although he could have won this very same turn if he had wanted to. I want to see what he has in store. all I need is for him to attack anyway, then I can activate the effect that deals the most damage during his turn.

He draws a card, followed by a glare at the card which looks like he's saying I don't care. "I summon Creation Theory Shaman. By using Shaman's effect, I can pay half my Life Points to bring my Great Beast - Arzeis from my Deck to my Hand. Which means I have 1700 Life Points...Then, I tribute Lenriel and my Shaman to Set this card. This ends my turn..."

"Is that so? I somehow feel let down. Ah well, I guess that it cannot be helped right now. I draw!" Hogosha draws his next card and smiles inwardly. This card that he had just gotten would be perfect to help him end this, although he did not wish to end it quite yet. "I play the Equip Spell 'Soul of the Hunter' and equip it to Zero. Now he gains 250 ATK power for each card on the field, including itself. Since there are 9 cards on the field total, Zero now has 6250 ATK power. Now Zero, Attack his face-down monster!"

"Heh, you win. You destroyed my most powerful monster." He actually smiled, and closed his eyes. Now, normally, you don't smile when you lose, but he really didn't mind. He knew from when he summoned his Great Beast that he would lose. Arzeis slowly fades away, leaving him open for attack.

"Well, I am not quite sure what to do here." Hogosha tilts his head to the side and gets a thoughtful expression on his face. "Ah well, I guess it Can't be helped. Juuka Beast Zero, end it with Sonic Screecher." Juuka Beast: Zero seems to suddenly appear in front of Xander, due to moving with incredible speed. He then reaches up with his right hand and places it on the mask, causing it to slowly fade from view. Juuka Beast: Zero then lowers his hand and suddenly opens his mouth, uttering a terrible roar so powerful that if it were real, he would have knocked Xander back against the tree with the force of it and caused him to go deaf. Hogosha watches, a little disappointed as he watched Xanders Life Points going to zero, and realizing that he had been dominating this duel from the start. I had forgotten just how powerful my true decks could be. I'll have to remember to keep that in mind.

He ended by putting his Deck and Graveyard back together. He shut off his Duel Disk and slowly walked over to Hogosha. "That was a fine duel..." Is all he said, before beginning to walk inside the forest, alone. After a few minutes, he was quite surprised at how little skill he showed. It's impossible that he is actually so weak. Maybe Hogosha is just really powerful, but Xander really didn't care that much. His Duel Spirit appeared besides him, with a dissapointed look. "You could have done many times better..." Arzeis commented, before disappearing again. "I understand, I could have. I will one day challenge him again, and summon you before the last turn of the duel. For now, however, I search for one of the Dragon Gods." He quietly muttered, getting much deeper into the forest.

"Hey there my name is Jaden"he greeted him with a big smile

See you there!" She says with a giggle, as she rushes off she waves and says, "Dont wory you dont have to do the 100 page essay!"

"Hm? The year assembly is today?" Hogosha had become so focused on his duel that he hadn't given it any thought since he had gotten up this morning. slamming a palm into his forehead and running it back and forth across his head, clearly aggravated as he says "Aaaaah! I completely forgot!" Without further ado, he goes running back to the school Campus building at a sprint, not waiting for anyone to say anything to him or try to catch up.

 

ooc: i am sorry to have to correct darkness on this, but unless rinne changed the rules for advanced format, it is 4 lines per post. he is likely to except 3 full lines with a 4th line segment as an acceptable post though. i'll double check with him and see.

Hogosha had shown up shortly before the meeting started and quickly found a seat. It was a relatively good one, and there were a few other seats int he same row, and a couple in front and behind that were empty/ Well if nothing else, at least I get to have a clear view. Hogosha thought to himself as he picked out the center-most seat of the ones that were currently unoccupied and grabbed several cards from out of the inside of his Ra Yellow Blazer that he had modified along with materials from the others so that his blazers extended as far as his knees. There was nothing against the rules about taking spare blazers that nobody was using anymore, and he was thankful for that as he heavily despised being a 'robot' and having to try and fit in with everyone. Looking over his shoulder as Jaden had shown up, he waved over at him and motioned towards a nearby seat, hoping that he would understand the meaning and accept his invitation.

He rmembered the asembly, and barely actually cared to notice at all. Walking back the way he came, he was talking to himself very quietly. "I honestly don't care about this wretched island. Whatever, I'll just go to that assembly...If I'm on time, perfect. If I'm late, it's whoever care's problem..." Arzeis only watched, dissapointed Xander couldn't fulfill the true potential of the Creation Theory. Xander made it to the assembly, ignoring everyone around him. He sat around the middle, and looked towards the ceiling.

"What duel, I was busy with Xander. Anyway, you just make sure that you have your deck ready for battle when I do challenge you. My name is Hogosha Shinpou, by the way." With that, Hogosha stopped speaking so that he wouldn't cause any disturbances. Now that the principal was out, he hoped that this assembly would not take to terribly long. He wanted to duel someone else and try out new strategies for his new deck. He also wanted to go through the cards that he had not had on him back at his dorm so that he could build a better deck.

'Crowler!?' Shobu bolted up, hearing his grandfather's teacher's last name. 'She's a Crowler?! Is that why she wanted to duel me?' 'I don't know' Yubel answered. 'but she is definitely an enigma, be careful of her. 'will do,' he replied. 'But why did she want to punish me like that if I lost?'

A descendant of a holder of one of the seven keys? Things just got a lot more interesting. Hogosha was highly interested in seeing how he would fair against a descendant of one of Duel Academy's strictest duel proctors. If he was fortunate, he would get to duel her later, although he was not about to wait for an invite. Grabbing the piece of paper that Jaden was holding out to him, he takes a pen in one of his pockets and writes on it 'Sorry, I have bigger fish to fry. Later perhaps.' He hands the note over to Jaden and gets up, walking out of the assembly hall and taking a route that would allow him to approach Jesabel without causing a major interruption. approaching her from behind, he raises his voice just loud enough for her to hear him and says "Hey, Jesabel. I have a question to ask of you."

"One of them? Maybe there's some excitement to be had with this one. I must admit that the Crowlers do have an....interesting personality. After I can improve my deck, maybe I can duel her..." He had been closing his eyes for the past ten minutes, until he heard Crowler and barely cared, but cared, nonetheless. Looking around, he noticed Hogosha and some other kid who passed him a note. He focused his attention back to the front, but lied his legs on the desk and kept his eyes closed. He was also playing around with a toothpick in his mouth. Is there honestly a point to staying in this area? Nothing important that involves me is going on here, so why should I be here? He thought to himself in a more arrogant tone. "Those gods are reawakening...that is of much more importance than this..." He whispered to himself, waiting for the teachers to announce the new students.
