~Toshiro~

Toshiro avoided the first strike, and was only left with a minor cut on his arm from the 2nd strike. He slid himself towards a nearby tree and leaned on it. He quickly used Healing Kido to stop the bleeding on his small wound. After he was done, Toshiro kicked off the tree and blasted himself into the air. While in the air, he released his Zanpacto and lashed it gracefully towards Kusaka without giving it another thought.

 

~Raizen~

Raizen was able to get close to where the fight was sooner than expected using flash steps. He could feel the Spiritual Pressure that engulfed the area ahead. Without thinking another thing about it, Raizen flashed stepped quicker, hoping to reach the destination soon.

Jeez...I can't leave you alone for a few minutes...Toshiro...

~grimmjow~

Grimmjow did nothing but watch from afar. He leaned carelessly on a tree trunk and yawned. He then started thinking about something. His eyes became wild suddenly.

"Tell me, Shinigami, where is Kurosaki?!" he yelled anxiously at Toshiro. Grimmjow glanced towards Kusaka and Jin then he turned back to Toshiro, awaiting his reply.

[Damiano Tosē]

Soifon

Soifon then felt a huge amount of spiritual pressure coming from outside. "Feel's like a arrancar... and Toshiro!" Soifon then grabbed her zanpaktou, Suzumebachi, and disappeared within a trace. Soifon then appeared behind Toshiro with her back turned, arms crossed, and eyes closed. "Is there a problem..." She opened her eyes and also looked at Toshiro from the corner of her eye, "... Toshiro?"

Izuru

Izuru woke up and felt the same pressure. What is this feeling Izuru thought to himself as he put on his clothes, grabbed his zanpaktou and dashed to Soifon's room. "She's gone..." Izuru then felt her spiritual pressure outisde. "She must be there." Izuru said as he disappeared within a trace. Izuru then appeared behind a tree looking at all the comotion. An arrancar... plus captain Soifon and captain Toshiro. Izuru thought to himself as he stayed quiet.

Jin disappeared and appeared away from Kusaka and Toshiro. He watched them fight for some time until he saw Toshiro release his zanpakutou once more. "Now is the time." he mumbled to himself as he disappeared. He appeared at the side of Toshiro while he was in mid swing, slamming his arm into Toshiro with wind covering it. The wind rocketed into Toshiro and sent him flying straight into the ground. Jin followed right behind and landed near Toshiro, placing his right foot onto Toshiro's sword arm, not too hard though, so that he didn't try and slash at Jin. Jin looked around quickly first, checking that the trees surrounded them fully before he turned back to Toshiro. "Listen closely Shinigami. I am not here to take over Seireitei like I tried to before I died. I don't want anything to do with your Shinigami friend. I only want to live my own life, devoid of this fighting. I just want to live a life of peace." Jin said as he stared down at Toshiro. "I will help you take out this Kusaka if you let me live my life of peace, but first I will obtain all of those crystals he has. It seems if I don't either absorb a human soul or use the crystal, I will die once again." Jin said. "I have to make it seem like you died first though before he realizes what I am doing. He has made a deal to give me all the crystals for your death." Jin finished.

"Yes, I am sure Jin will let you live your own life after he has obtained enough power to continue living in this world. He only wants to live his life of peace as I am doing now. He has agreed to not harm anymore people and will live me Ran' Tao and I." Go Koga said as he looked at Mabashi. I hope that he will help us. We will benefit greatly from his help. "So, will you help us?" Go Koga asked him once more.

~Toshiro~

Toshiro smirked towards Soifon as he drew back his blade

"I had everything under control...I don't see any reason why you needed to come..." he said, his eyes fixed on Grimmjow

"Sorry, Arrancar, but Ichigo has gone away to train in some place that is completely unknown to everyone but him...He won't be coming back for a while, so I'm afraid you won't get your revenge..."

Toshiro was then hit by Jin's incoming attack, He then jerked his arm away from Jin's foot and stood up, shooting large ice spears towards him, not wanting to reply to his statement, but doing so anyway

"How can we trust you?!" he yelled.

 

~Raizen~

Raizen had finally arrived. He stayed hidden in the trees, then he noticed that Soifon was also at the battle scene. Raizen felt his Lieutenant's Spirtual Pressure nearby

Izuru, looks like your on your way too...

He held out his palm towards the battle field and muttered

"Bakudo #21, Sekienton"

Suddenly the battle scene was engulfed in a thick smoke. Raizen then flash stepped towards where Izuru was hiding, and appeared next to him.

"What's up, Izuru?" he asked, as he looked off into the smoke "Can you do me a favor?"

Soifon

"You handle the other one. I'll get the arrancar." Soifon said as she smirked and drew her blade.

Soifon drew her blade slowly as the blade sitck up in the air. "Sting all Enemies to Death... Suzumebachi!" Soifon said as she grasped onto Suzumebachi as the entire sword glowed white and shrunk in size.When the emitted glow dies off, it has appeared that Suzumebachi has now taken on the form of an accessory.

Covering Soifon's right wrist is a gold gauntlet with a small chain linking to a large, thick "stinger" on Soifon's middle finger. The cone-like shaped "stinger" extends at a length about twice as far as the normal extension of the finger, allowing Soifon's striking distance to increase slightly.

Ornately decorated in gold and black, the Shikai is fitting of its name, as the pattern and shapes resemble that of a hornet.

In this form, Suzumebachi is still capable of holding its own against a opponents sword attacks, blocking with the "stinger" as well as striking and even blocking incoming attacks with the gauntlet portion.

Izuru

"Captain... what brings you here?" Izuru said as he looked at his captain Raizen. Why is he here? Probably to watch the fight. Izuru thought to himself as he came to his senses. "Yes sir? What favor did you want me to do?" Izuru said awaiting his master's response.

~Grimmjow~

Grimmjow smirked a bit at Soifon

"So you believe that you can take me on?" he chuckled a bit. Slowly he slid himself into fighting stance, ready for any attack.

I'm still to weak to use anything too strong...It's looks like for now, I'm just going to have to stick with skilled hand to hand combat...

Grimmjow's thoughts were tense, but his face was still cocky.

 

~Raizen~

Raizen turned to Izuru and smiled

"I was actually on my way here to help Toshiro, because he is a friend of mine..." he said, his gaze fixed on the fight that was taking place in front of them "I have a task for you..."

Raizen pointed over to Kusaka

"Him...He has the crystal, which is what were mainly after in this fight...If we can get the crystal, we can leave, without any harm done..." he muttered "So, you think I can trust you with that task, Izuru? Oh, and not to worry, I'll be sure to have your back"

Raizen ended his sentence with a kind and gentle smile towards Izuru.

"If I was really going to kill you, I would have already tried by now. It is not because I don't have my full power that I did not try. It is because I wanted to talk to you first. But as before, you shinigami never listen or try to understand us." Jin said as he sighed and waved his hand across the air, forming a thick shield of wind to reflect the spears of ice. He then reached his hand out and caught one as it came towards his face, crushing it in his hands afterwards. Then, when he saw the smoke begin covering the area, he shook his head slightly in a disappointed manner. "Nuisance." Jin said as wind blasted from his body. The smoke was instantly cleared from around him and as the wind he was blasting from his body grew, the smoke eventually disappeared completely. Jin stared at Toshiro once more. "What can I do to make you believe me?" Jin said as he looked around. He then turned back to Toshiro as he said "We must hurry. We don't have much time till he discovers what I am doing. Be smart for once Shinigami and listen to us."

~Toshiro~

Toshiro flinched at his idea. He stood his ground and refused to lower his guard. He still gripped the blade tightly, not fully trusting the bount.

"Unfortunately I cannot make decisions on my own...I will report this to the other shinigami, and then we shall see if we have a deal..." Toshiro grunted, keeping his eyes fixed on Jin "That would be the only smart idea. Shinigami are not fools who rush into things. Not at all...So don't even believe that a Captain of the Gotei 13 is just going to accept your risky offer..."

[Blablafodfpå]

"It's time to go unfortunately" Kusaka said loud enough so the others could hear him. "We don't need any unnecessary fights" he said while raising his sword above his head with an slow motion. "Sit upon the frozen heavens, Hyourinmaru" he said in a low standard, With those words a Dragon formed by water and ice emerged from his blade and crasched towards Soi Fon, When the dragon crasched, Ice shards were untied all over the area. "Now shall we ?" Kusaka whispered as he flash stepped away, He was unsure that his companions with follow him.

~Raizen~

Raizen didn't wait for Izuru's answer. He patted him on the shoulder and then was gone within a flash. He appeared behind Toshiro, placing his hand on his shoulder.

"Let them go...We'll get them soon enough..." he whispered. At this time, it was pretty noticeable that Raizen was actually not that much taller than Hitsugaya, since they were around the same age.

 

 

~Toshiro~

Toshiro started to chase after them, but stopped when he felt Raizen's presence

"But when..." he whispered, clenching his fists and becoming a bit bothered with the situation.

Raizen shook his head

"I've known you for a while, Toshiro, your not like this...You like to think things through, remember...?" Raizen said, keeping his voice calm and tame. Toshiro let out a breath and then drew back his blade, along with compressing his spiritual pressure once again, it was obvious that Hitsugaya was regaining his calm.

 

~Grimmjow~

Grimmjow scowled at Soifon

"Maybe some other time, Shinigami" he said, as he headed off to follow Kusaka. When he had caught up to him, Grimmjow was angered

"The one chance we had for fun, and you just retreat?! What kind of shinigami or X-Shinigami are you anyway?!" he said, annoyed more than angered.

"Time is running out shinigami." Jin said as he stared at Toshiro. "I would really like this to stay between you and I. I don't trust the other Shinigami to keep this a secret, but oh well. Report to whomever you want." Jin said. Jin looked up to where Kusaka was when he heard his voice telling them that it was time to go. "Think about it Shinigami." Jin said as his body then began slowly fading from his feet up. He had a cold look in his eyes as they stared at Toshiro before disappearing into the wind as well. He next appeared flying at the side of Kusaka, staring absentmindedly forward, thinking on his situation. Will he actually go along with my plan or was he lying to me? The Shinigami have been known to lie to me ever since I was created. Jin continued flying through the air near Kusaka, heading back to Phantom Realm HQ. "Why did we have to retreat?" Jin asked Kusaka suddenly, still staring forward.

[Blablafodfpå]

Kusaka flew silently through the landscape, "I have no intention of killing any shinigamis before i obtain my true goal" Kusaka was silence again, He smiled a little to himself when he thought back when Toushiro slew him. "So why do you want your forces recovered" Kusaka asked while looking at Jin with a less smile then before. He increased the speed of his shunpo to come to headquarters quickly.

[Dark Lightning]

Toshiro let out a sigh and then turned to Raizen

"Let's go..." he muttered. He then looked towards Izuru and Soifon "We'll be heading back now..." he ordered, regaining his 'Captain's Spirit'

Raizen nodded towards Toshiro and then flash stepped next to Izuru. Toshiro and Raizen had then flash stepped away towards the Seritei instantly.

Starrk and Lilynette watched as shinigami's Flashed stepped away

"why are you not doing anything?" she asked while looking at Starrk.

He lays down "I really don't feel like it right now" he puts his head on his hand

"I'm going to sleep wake me up in a while"

Lilynette looks at him "Hey don't go to sleep we are in the middle of a battle field".

ic: Soifon and Izuru

Soifon and Izuru both increased the speed and agility in shunpo and flashed away as fast as ever. "Well that was a waste of pure energy." Soifon said as she entered the Seritei along with Izuru. "Captain Soifon and Raizen... i'm sorry for not getting the crystal." Izuru said as he felt ashamed of not doing his duties. "You did well in hiding Izuru. You'd help enough by knowing where they were." Soifon said with happiness in her voice.

Raizen appeared behind Izuru and patted him on the shoulder once more

"Don't worry about it..." he said, removing the hood from his face and revealing his soft and gentle smile, his face lit by his amber eyes "You and the rest of the shinigami have helped alot in the past...This is our chance to repay you for that..."

 

~Toshiro~

Toshiro then walked up behind Soifon, Raizen, and Izuru

"He's right, you don't need to worry..." he said, quietly as he pasted by. After getting out of sight from the others, he entered his room and began to think about the deal that the bount, Jin, had purposed. He sat and thought about it for a while.

Ze'borova walked away from the woods or plains or drylands or wherever it was that he was. He was more than a thousand miles away, in Bankai, and had ended his battle in a 3-way tie. Sighing, he released his Bankai and reverted back to his unreleased state, his sword dissipating. "I won't be nowhere near as fast but I will still be there quickly. My Flash Step may be overdoing it though" Ze'borova said quietly. Without another word, Ze'borova began to speed away, and within 38 seconds had reached the Seireitei. He was stopping but his heart pounded him as he weakened from fatigue, unable to heal himself. He was dizzy, disillusioned and desperate, and as he tried to stop slipped up on a rock and crashed into a wall near where the other Shingami were. As he lay in the rubble he said,"I think I'll take a short nap," and passed into his dreams.

Raizen looked down at his feet, and noticed another shinigami that he had never seen before. He knelt down before the fallen man and noticed that he was asleep

"Wonder who this can be...I've never seen him..." he muttered quietly "He looks worn out..."

Raizen slipped the man onto his shoulder and carried him.

"I think I might take him to the 4th squad...He'd better heal, and then we can find out who he is..." he said calmly and quietly as he took the man away. Before taking another step he stopped

"You coming, Izuru?" he said, with a small smile as he glanced back towards Izuru. With that, he continued walking.

[Mr.WHAM]

Ze'borova was subtlely asleep. 'I need a girl. Its lonely here, and if I don't get one soon or fix this heart will kill me. And I don't want to die never having felt a woman's touch. Oh there's someone carrying me. Maybe I should wake up. No it's much better to sleep.' Suddenly there was a sharp,excrutiating pain throughout his chest. Ze'borova awoke and shot up screaming. "DAMN! MUST YOU ALWAYS CAUSE--" Ze'borova stopped as he noticed that there was another person bye him. "Oh hello," he said shocked.

Raizen blinked at the strange man

"Your awake...?" he said "Well...um...who might you be?"

Raizen raised his hood over his head once more, shading his face.

"Are you friend or foe?" he asked, his voice growing more alert than it was calm. He examined the man carefully

"A shinigami, right?"

[Mr.WHAM]

"Vizard, or at least I think I am one. And I am former Captain of the Second Division Ze'borova Preyn. I made that Divsion what it was. Hopefully Soifon is doing a good enough job managing it." Ze'borova looked at the man and looked dejected. "As far as being a friend or foe, I am what I will myself to be. I will be a friend for now however, because, and I'm assuming this from our whereabouts, that you were taking me to the fourth Division to be healed. However, why so serious young fighter? Have we not already defeated our biggest threat Souske Aizen. I do not see why you are so worried. I do where some of your garb," he said pointing to his black shirt with the symbol of the Gotei 13 on its back. "Or is there something wrong now?"

Raizen shook his head

"All is not well, Ze'borova..." he said, starting tell the story of the how the Soul Society is in trouble. He stopped himself

"I'm Raizen Osia, Captain of the 3rd Division, permanent replacement of Gin Ichimaru..." he said, casually holding out his hand for him to shake. After he introduced himself, he continued "We fear that our enemies might be returning...So far, the Soul Society are assuming the myth of 'The Phantom Realm' to be the cause of this. Our enemies seem to have lost quite a lot of their power, and seem to be regaining it as we speak..." he paused "What do you think of this, Ze'borova?"

[Mr.WHAM]

"If that's the case give me some time or just contact me. You and I personally will pay them a visit to see what it is exactly that they plan . I wonder if that Espada Ulquiorra is there as well. He may know something about what I am going through. I also must tell you that I was Captain before Yoruichi Shihoin, though she has done a good job at it. And if we have defeated our enemies once and they have reappeared even weaker than when we appeared than defeating them will not be as hard. But they will know what we are capable of, so we must be wiser and more cretive than we could have been before. For now however, we will take a brief reprieve. Do remember this mission is reconnaissance, so if you can try to avoid killing anything and if you must do it quietly," Ze'borova said as his image faded from vision and his reistu was hidden as well. "Have a nice day Raizen," he said with an invisible chuckle and walked away.
