"Looks like he's here too..." he muttered to himself.

Raizen then chuckled

"Ulquiora...You should really start retreating right about now...Kenpachi Zaraki is on his way here...There's no way you can take all of us on, and still have a single hope of remaining alive...."

Hisagi tightened his grip on his sword and ran to his captain's room. The surging reitsu's withing the grounds of the seireitei were shocking. He slid to a stop at the door to his captains private room and pounded on the door.

 

"Dino! Captain Dino!" he yelled.

 

"Come in, Hisagi," Dino called out, his vioce calm and a bit cheerful. Hisagi roughly slid the door open, ready to voice his concerns about the the conflict in seireitei and his captains inactivity. He stopped abruptly when he saw what was in the room.

 

A small group of seated and unseated officers from the squad crowded the door. Dino sat crossed-legged and calmly in the center of his room, numerous pages floating around him is pairs, some covered in ever shifting print, others showing moving, live images of the actions of the other captains.

 

"I'm sure you're wondering why I haven't joined the fight, but the others have it under control." He grinned. "Besides, no orders were issued to the 9th squad."

Toshiro was then able to calm himself down. He stood up slowly and unclenched his fist; his palms already red from holding them in that position. He sighed a sigh of relief. Toshiro then walked over to the door and slowly slid it open

"At least the crystal can't regain all of their powers...All it can increase would be about 7% at most..." he muttered to himself as he exited his office.

Ulquiora took of the kido

"Very Well then. We will meet again though..."

Ulquiora opened a portal and dissapeared. His clone melted.

"Kenpachi is here?!"

Zack drew his Zanpakto

"All right! I'll ask him to train my Ban Kai and spar with him!!!"

In the hideout, Kusaka saw Ulquiorra appear. "Where the heck were you ?" He said as he Got up from his seated position in In the white cave full of light. He looked silently at ulquiorra with tease, "Your just to creepy" he said as he turned his head. "I have found the crystal, with which we can upgrade our weakened bodies by about 6-10 percent" Meanwhile he waited for Ulquiorras answer he sat down in the uncomfortable chair of white steel.

Jushiro Ukitake went to the place Ulquiora attacked

"Kuh! Kuh! So, Captain Byakuya, Raizen, Zack. Report what is going on here."

Jushiro took some kind of pill

"I feel better already."

He sat down and waited for the report

Raizen sat down on the grass and yawned

"Well, Ukitake, It wasn't much a problem....Because the enemies are weak right now..." he said.

After a while of thought he opened an eye

"I suppose we should kill them while their weak...If not they could end up being a real pain when they get stronger..." he yawned again.

Kusaka didn't have time to wait for ulquiorra's answer, so he simple threw the crystal orb to ulquiorra. himself he had already upgraded his body but even with the help of Crystal, he was not in his full strength. He left the hideout to look for several crystals. When he had reached rukongai, he put on his silvery white mask. "Let's go" He whispered to himself as he flash stepped in the direction of a crystal, He could feel the reiatsu of a crystal. Kusaka had always been good at analyze and by researching their crystal he could easly find a similar reiatsu.

~Toshiro~

Toshiro walked up to where he saw the others talking

"Hey" he said, still a bit angry, but calming down "I have a suggestion, since most of us seem to be doing nothing here, we should position ourselves in the areas where the other crystals are, so that they won't be able to regain any more power...."

Kusaka were halfways when he noticed a fellow soul reaper following. He inspected the follower carefully, It seemed to be just a normal soul reaper, Having duty here. He looked closer and noticed that the follower reported with a hell butterfly he just send away. "Darn It!" Kusaka quickly shunpoed. The follower stopped and looked all around him, "Were did he go ?!" he said. "What about looking behind you again ?" Kusaka whispered into the soul repaers ear from behind. The soul reaper turned around in a shock. A zanpakutou quickly ripped throught the soul reapers chest. "Pathetic" Kusaka said as he became aware that the hell butterfly had going to the soul society. "Crap! I do better hurry to the crystal." Kusaka flash stepped away in the direction of the crystal.

"Look's the fight is mostly done," Dino mused. "Oh well. Still, it will make a good feature story." He glanced over the crowd and picked out three men. "I want you guys to go and get interveiws with any one below the 3rd seat rank who witnessed the fights or felt the reitsu close up. Go!" They nodded and shunpoed away.

"The rest of you," he smiled. "BACK TO WORK! WHY ARE YOU LOUNGING ABOUT IN MY ROOM?" They panicked and fled. Hisagi stayed.

 

"What about the arrancar?" Hisagi asked Dino.

 

"I can't say, he has never come into my range," Dino mused. He grabbed a handful of pages out of his book and quartered them. The quaters folded themselves into small paper bugs, less than a centimeter long. Soon, two dozen floated around him. He cast kyokko on them so they woulded be seen and intructed them to tail all the participants. That done, resealed Subeteno Hon and sheathed it than opened a window to let the paper bugs fly out.

 

"Dino," Hisagi frowned, "Shouldn't we go check on the other captains?"

 

"Right!" Dino realized, slapping a fist into his palm. "We can get good interveiws with them!" He happily headed out.

 

"Wait!" Hisagi cried, following him, "that wasn't what I meant!"

Toshiro looked at the hell butterfly that floated past them. He held out his finger, and soon the butterfly released it's message. As he heard the message, Toshiro nodded.

"I knew it..." he grunted.

Without another word Toshiro was gone, he had flashed stepped away, to protect another crystal. As he flashed stepped through the area, his palm was gripping his blade tightly

"I won't let you get away...Not this time..." he grunted to himself.

Kenpachi

"Hahahahahaha" Kenpachi fanally got where the battle is. "I am here and who is the most powerful enemy here" Kenpachi said with a evil smile. So he rise his sword and put it in the ground. Then he sat down on a log wait for some one to attack him. "Come on I am getting bored" He yell.

He were almost there, Jumping from tree to tree he finally reached the gate into the crystal.

"A gate eh ?" Kusaka said as he inspected the gate. "It's not made of spiritual pressure, That's for sure" Kusaka said while smirking. "Then i'll just break throught it." He silently pointed at the gate with his palm open wide. Hadou No.31#: Shakkahou! His palm took fire and unleashed an red reiatsu against the gate. The gate shattered a few seconds after the strike.

"Now then" He said as he stepped forward to the crystal.

Toshiro seemed to appear in front Kusaka just in time. He glared at him slightly, and took the crystal, putting it in his robe pocket

"If you want it, you're going to have to defeat me..." he said, getting in his stance again, and ready to draw his blade.

He's stronger than before...But not by much...

Kusaka smirked, "So it's you again ?". "I say this once, Give it to me" without waiting for an answer, He unsheated his zanpakutou and rushed towards to Toushiro. He instantly slashed, Aiming for toushiro's neck. He flash stepped backwards the same moment he launched the attack.

At the Phantom Realm HQ, the female Bount known as Yoshi was being bored as usual, as she laid on her room and just tried to not succumb to her desires of draining more human souls. "GAAAH! THIS IS BORING ME TO HELL!!" she complained, and threw her sealed Doll - Nieder - into a wall, as complains were heard from the sealed Doll when it hit the wall. "I need SOMETHING to keep myself entertained..."

"What?! Captain Toshiro is in trouble! And so is Captain Byakuya!" Abarai Renji Flash-Stepped up on a tall building, surveying the surroundings. He felt his own Captain's Spiritual Pressure flare up along with that of a very powerful Arrancar - possibly of Espada level - and the Pressure of Toshiro and another Shinigami. "Damn! I can only go one way! Well, my Captain has always done good himself... so, I'll go for Toshiro!" he nodded to himself, and Flash-Stepped towards Toshiro's and Kusaka's location.

Toshiro backed off a bit, so that the attack had only cut the cloth of his captain's haori. He didn't hesitate to pull out his blade and then blast himself into the air

"Sit Upon the Frozen Heavens, Hyōrinmaru!" he yelled, releasing his Zanpacto with great anger. He allowed his spiritual pressure to rise as he swung the icy dragon blade towards Kusaka.

Renji now felt that Toshiro had released his Shikai, and sped up a bit to make sure he got to the place in time. Soon enough, he arrived near the battlefield, and saw Toshiro fight off a rather shady Shinigami. "What? Who is that Shinigami attacking Toshiro? Wait... that must be that Kusaka! The one who destroyed the King's Seal!" he didn't hesitate as he pulled his Zanpakutõ and leaped up into the air. "HOWL! ZABIMARU!" his blade turned to a segmented blade on about two meters with an elongnated tooth on each segment, and he lashed it towards Kusaka.

Kusaka quickly drew his hand throught hyourinmaru, "Sit upon the frozen heavens, Hyourinmaru!" He yelled. Small pieces of ice shards flipped all around kusaka. "Conquer Ice fang storm!" he shouted as an kidou circle appeared in front of Toushiro. The kidou circle spinned around and absorbed the dragon, "Die" Kusaka said when the circle shoot of amounts of ice shards. After attacking toushiro he saw an attack from an zanpakutou closing in, He dodged it smoothly but a minor wound appeared on his left arm.

Toshiro grunted slightly as he managed to block a few of the ice shards with his Zanpacto

"Lieutenant Abarari!" he grunted as he saw Renji jump into the fight. It wasn't until later that Toshiro noticed he had been hit a some of the ice shards, some going deeper than others. It didn't stop him though he still lashed his Zanpacto and blasted into the air, The Ice Dragon releasing ice shards towards Kusaka

"Toshiro!" Renji landed near Toshiro as Zabimaru retracted back to its hilt. "How are you, and how the hell did Kusaka get back?! Didn't you kill him after he almost destroyed Soul Society?!" Renji was quite stunned and spooked about that Kusaka had returned, seeing that Toshiro had killed him even a second time after his first death.

Toshiro landed back on the ground, also retracting Hyōrinmaru.

"The Research Center is still trying to figure that out..." he said, breathing heavily "But all we know is that it seems some of our enemies from some time ago...Seemed to have returned, but they are weaker right now...The cause is still unknown..."

Toshiro examined Kusaka, waiting for his move.

"Seems so, but what of the Espada?" asked Renji, still keeping his Zanpakutõ ready for an attack. "I could sense Captain Byakuya's Spiritual Pressure along with an Arrancar's, possibly of Espada level. Could this mean that they are back as well?" his gaze flickered between Toshiro and Kusaka, conversating with Toshiro and waiting for Kusaka to attack.
