I do think in my own voice, but it isn't groggy like when I actually try to speak. I don't talk very much so it sounds like I always have a frog in my throat.

I actually didn't read that aloud in my head. I just read and comprehended. There was no "thinking" the words and sentences to myself.

There is no voice. You just think it's a voice. If you listen to a "voice", you could make it any voice. It's thoughtwaves. End of story :D

My voice tonality actually varies depending on how fast I speak. The faster I speak, the higher-pitched it gets.

 

The thing is that when I think, the "voice" in my mind, no matter how fast it "speaks", is pitched just as my average speed real voice pitch. And again, when I try to think using other people's voices, I use to lower the pitch by one octave, even if it is low already.

 

I might just feel uneasy with hearing or "thinking" about high frequency sounds.

I subvocalize in my own voice, and I tend to subvocalize inward thoughts. (Self-reflection, conscious decision-making, doing math, etc.)

 

Errant thoughts like noticing an attractive girl or realizing I'm having fun don't tend to play themselves out in words.
