Six rods of energy stuck into the Vaste Lorde, making him unable to move. He fell to the ground, and now was vulnerable. " Kill it now, Raizen!"

Saruto is sitting on a near by building. He been watching the battle on the building the whole time. "Wow hope this battle end soon before I go in it." Saruto said. He feels the power of his fellow Captains and the Vaste Lorde that is their. Then he stands up and walk to another spot on the building as he been doing for one hour now.

Raizen flashed stepped quickly over to him. He drew his sword and closed his eyes as he killed him. After wards he sighed and then took a breath

"Well, that's over with..." he said, putting his sword back onto his back.

Zeth managed to get to his feet, using his sword for something to hold on to so he won't fall over. " A little help over here?" Zeth asked.

"I thought you would get thrown away like Zeth there after you wore him down a bit then I would finish him off!" smirked Koganei as he walked around surveying the area making sure nothing else was amiss and when he came to the conclusion that nothing was he started to walk away without saying another word.

Kukikia sat in his throne in Los Noches when an Arrcanar entered. " Im asuming your all prepared?" Kukikia asked.

 

" Yes, Lord Kukikia. I will not fail you." The Arrcanar said.

 

" Good. Now go, and leave none alive." Kukikia said. The Arrcanar then used Garganta, and went on his way to Soul Society.

Name: Karek Shirikoya

[spoiler=Appearance:] Karek has shoulder length black hair that spikes up in the back with streaks of red that run across the side of his hair. He is above average height, being 5 foot 10 inches. He has tan colored skin complexion and his eyes are a grayish color. He wears the standard Shinigami uniform with black sandals instead of brown ones, and his shinigami robe has a white hood attached to the back of it. Also, he wears the normal white captain's robe with squad 8 on the back over his shinigami uniform. Karek looks as if he is scrawny, but in actuality, he is well built and quite strong.

Position: Captain

[spoiler=Personality:] Karek is a very relaxed person and doesn't seem to get upset about much. Karek doesn't try to stress alot or take things too serious because he just wants to sit back and have fun. Karek is also an optimist, always trying to see the good of a situation, or believing in something even though it can't be proved. He critiques himself a lot, mainly with his style and technique. Karek will usually not fight his opponent seriously because he wants to just have fun without having to fight serious until it turns out that he may lose.

 

[spoiler= Zanpaktou:] Hibiki Kaichou (Echoing Melody)

Shikai: The blade of Hibiki Kaichou becomes wider and it's color turns to blue with black lining the edges. It splits down the middle to become two 5 inch blades separated at 7 inches by a large gap in the center, giving it the appearance of a large tuninig fork. Along the middle of each blade are holes that are 3 inches apart from one another.

Shikai Ability: When in shikai, the holes on Hibiki Kaichou are able to gather sound within the blade and reverberate it through the hollow inside of the blade in order to create powerful sound vibrations that the user guides with their reiatsu. Whenever the Hibiki Kaichou hits something, be it blocking or attacking, a counter is put on the blade that increases by double each time the blade strikes something. At each level, the shockwaves created by the vibration inside the blade grows more powerful and high pitched. The pitches of the vibrations sound like a normal C scale chord.

 

Special moves: Hibiki Heki (Sound burst)-Karek is able to move the sound flowing within his zanpakuto and form it around him in order to travel on sound waves themselves, leaving behind an afterimage which erupts into a powerful sound shockwave when hit. This shcokwave is enough to rupture the middle and inner ear if it hits the opponent.

Doton Shogeki (Earth Shockwave)-When Karek sticks his blade into the ground, he is able to send the sound waves through it, causing the ground to rip up towards the opponent and then blast sound up from under their body.

 

Bankai: The tuning fork blade splits in half down the center and the two halves split themselves so that now there are two tuning forks. A four foot dark blue gourd with musical notes etched in black across it also forms, hovering on it's own but attached to the tuning forks' hilts via invisible reiatsu chains. The gourd carries a large, almost infinite amount of water within it. The amount of water in it depends on the user's reiatsu.

Bankai Ability: When in Bankai, Nagoyaka Hibiki Kaichou (Lit. Harmonious Echoing Melody) is still able to use all of it's abilities from it's shikai form but enhanced, and now each time it hits something it triples instead of doubles. The gourd that is formed in Bankai is able to spew the water within it onto the field, surrounding the area for 5 miles in a large dome full of water. Within the dome, all sound is enhanced, further increasing the sound abilities of Hibiki Kaichou, making it's attacks faster than the speed of sound. Nagoyaka Hibiki Kaichou is also able to shoot out sound waves with varying effects, such as illusion casting or shattering bone. The user of Nagoyaka Hibiki Kaichou is able to breathe while in this water through a reiatsu barrier that forms once the gourd begins emptying it's contents.

 

[spoiler=Mask:] The mask resembles the face of a bat and is a dark bluish color with one stripe of black going down the center. It has bat ears that are attached to the top of the mask and are about the size of the whole mask. The mask has a small black horn protruding from where the nose should be on mask. The eye holes are combined into one long slit like hole stretched across the top of the mask and outlined in black, just big enough for Karek to see out of.

Name Tao Ren (Normally referred to as Ren)

Appearance

Tao Ren is Shorter than Toshiro Hitsugaya, at 4'9", but he seems to look Taller when the Length of the Spikes in his Hair is added up. His Hair is Waist Length, with Two Bangs in the Front Over the Chest and the Rest tied together in the Back, giving him a Second and Third Spike.

 

He is Relatively Thin, and his Spiked hair, called a Tongari, is a Shade of Dark Purple. Ren's Eyes are Golden in light, and in Shade or Dark Areas, they are Brownish. The Back of his Hair is Tied into a Braid which almost touches the Ground.

 

He doesn't wear a Traditional Shinigami Uniform, instead he wears is inspired by Kung-Fu Cloth. It consists of Black Pants, with an Open Triangular Pattern along Both Sides and Yellow Lining, that are tied with a thin White Scarf. He also wears a Black Vest tied together in a Triangular Pattern that also has Yellow Lining with a midsection revealing his Midriff. Over top his custom Outfit, is his Captain's Haori.

 

 

Personality He is Serious, Logical, and Emotionally aloof. He has become like this because of how he was Raised. Because of his Father, Ren had adapted a Deep Hatred towards Humanity and a Strong Yearning to Eliminate them all. Ren's Anger and Hatred came from his Father. Forced to Train and Study at a Very Young Age, Ren had his Childhood Stolen from him.

Swordsmanship Ren's Skill with his Sword was Honed to a Master Level, due to his Training as a Warrior, letting him Strike Multiple Times with changes of Attack-Type (from Slash to Pierce) without any Difficulty. His Unpolished Skills and Strength with his Sword make it so he always Fights with One Hand Free. He only uses both Hands when faced against Opponents he feels will beat him otherwise. He is one of the most, if not the most, Proficient Swordsmen in all of Soul Society.

Flash Step While he possesses Little Skill for Flash Step, Ren has shown to be Deceptively Fast for his Size and Build.

Spiritual Pressure Even by Elite Captain-Levels, his Spiritual Pressure is Absolutely Monstrous. In fact, it is so great that Ren can Fight on-par with two other Captain-Level Opponents without using his Full Power and his Opponents release their Zanpakutō's Bankai. His Energy has been shown Great Enough to Affect Entire Areas to the point of Disrupting Energy Attacks from Enemies, Affect Others from seemingly Miles Away and cause them to enter a State of Paralysis and Confusion.

Strength Perhaps due to Years of Combat Experience and time on the Battlefield, Ren has a Very Large Degree of Physical Strength, most commonly displayed by his Ability to Fight Back his Opponent's Attacks with a Single Arm. Repeatedly, he has shown Clear Evidenced of his Strength from Acts like kicking a Minos Grande to the Ground and slamming an Adjuchas Menos over one of his shoulders.

Durability His Physical Strength is matched by his Durability, Ren has been shown to Easily Ignore most of the Injuries he's Sustained in Battle (much like a Berserker), not Suffering any Debilitation Despite having Multiple Slash Wounds in his Body. During one of his battle with an Espada he suffered Numerous Slash Wounds and was even Impaled with no Visual Impairment of his Fighting Abilities despite the Espada noting that Most People would have already been Dead at that Point.

Kido While not his Preferred Style of Combat, Ren has High Prowess in Kidō Combat.

Hand-to-Hand While preferring to use his Blade in Battle, Ren has Demonstrated Multiple Times to be very Dangerous Barehanded as well. He can easily catch an Opponent's Attack with a Single Hand, perform Powerful Kicks and Take-downs, and has Demonstrated Superb Skill with Throwing Weapons.

Name Bason(馬 孫)

Description The Sealed Form of Ren's Zanpakutō takes the form of a Kwan Dao, with a Red Tassel and Nine Rings on the Back of the Blade. Like Hozukimaru, it can split, but it is able to split into Seven Sections, each connected by Chains.

Release Phrase Stage One: "... Kill", Stage Two: "... Tear to Shreads"

Shikai Power

When Released, Bason takes the form of a Mace/Polearm Combo. Despite it's Massive Weight and Size, Ren doesn't feel it's weight, however, Others who Grab or Hold it are affected by the Extreme Weight. The Mace Section can detatch for the Main Weapon (and is connected via Chain), and become a DEADLY Throwing Weapon.

Karek sat behind his desk within the Squad 8 Barracks, doing some last minute reports and work for the Head Captain on his squad. He heard the report and jumped up to go to the scene to help the other Captain's, but he suddenly felt the reiatsu fade away. "I guess I'm late to the party." he mumbled. "Since I'm up, I better just go out and have a walk I guess." he said and opened the door. He headed out into the Seireitei and began walking around, admiring this peaceful place. I hope there's work for me to do. I don't want to sit around here doing nothing.

IC: Saruto sense that he was not needed so he jump then appear on top of a building. Then he went walking on the building and jump down again on to a street going to his house."I think I am going to have a nap" Saruto said in his mind. So with that though he fast walk to his house. When h got to his house, he sees his officers looking for him. "Just wait I am going to have a nap" Said said to his officers and then he fell on to the grass and fell to sleep.

Karek walked around Seireitei, but he still couldn't find anything to do. Why is today so boring? Surely there is something to be done. He continued walking, his captain's robe blowing in the wind as he walked while the sheathe of his zanpakutou thumped against the side of his left leg with each step he took. He walked slowly, taking in the scenery around him and enjoying it. "I'll go find someone to train with." he mumbled as he then disappeared, flash stepping away. He moved through Seireitei quickly now, looking to see if he could find anyone to train with him. After all, he needed some practice after sitting behind that desk for so long.

Raizen returned swiftly and quietly to the 6th squad barracks. He was careful not to disturb anyone on his way there.

"Tired..." he looked around. Raizen wondered if he should go back to Zeke and accept that Saki offer. He then shook his head and took a seat at his desk

The Arrancar appeared high in the sky overlooking Seiretai. It was very windy. He then dove straight down, crashing through the barrier, landing somewhere around the Squad 8 barracks. The alarms sounded, and all of Seiretai now knew there was a Ryoka.

 

" Heh. Let's just see what these Shinigami can do!" the Arrcanar laughed as he walked down the road, hoping for a good fight.

Karek, who had been flash stepping through Seireitei quickly came to a stop once he felt the shock move through the ground. "What in the world was that?" he thought. He closed his eyes and focused on the reiatsu, instantly recognizing it to be that of a hollow, a powerful one. An Arrancar? Karek flash stepped once more, heading in the direction where he could feel the energy. When he now appeared in front of the reiatsu he could sense, he saw that it was his own Squad barracks. "Heh...so I'm gonna get to train after all." Karek said as he faced the Arrancar. He placed his right hand to his blade and quickly drew it. He pointed it at the Arrancar as he got into a defensive stance. He smirked as he stood there, awaiting for the Arrancar's first move.

" Oh boy, a Captain! This should be fun. By the way, I'm Arrcanar 17, Gaidoku!" Gaidoku said, drawing his sword. He the used Sonido, and swung at Karek. Karek blocked that attack and pushed Gaidoku back. " Hmph! Let's see how well you do against this!" Gaidoku laughed as he charged and shot a Cero at Karek.

Karek jumped back as he saw Gaidoku charging the cero. He wanted to get some range away from him. "Bakudo 33: Soukatsui" Karek called out as he pointed his left palm at the cero which was now shooting towards him. The Soukatsui exploded as soon as it reached the cero, causing it to be slowed down. Karek then used this chance to jump out of the way to his right, sliding along the ground. He then dashed forward and flash stepped. He next appeared behind Gaidoku, spinning with his blade held out. He disappeared while in the spin and reappeared at Gaidoku's right, slashing across the arm. If this did hit, a huge gash would be sliced across Gaidoku's arm since his Hierro would prevent the arm from being sliced off. Karek then flash stepped and appeared away, watching for his next move. "The name's Karek Shirokoya. Captain of Squad 8." Karek said with a smirk on his face.

" Yah got me there huh? Well listen here Karek. I'm just getting warmed up. Now it's time I got serious." Gaidoku said. He then grasped his sword, and used Sonido to appear right in front of Karek. He then used it again to appear behind him. Now he was continuously using it, appearing if different spots every second. " Can't keep up with me? Am I over here? Here? Over there? Nope I'm here!" Gaidoku yelled as he slashed his sword right at Karek's face.
