Poseidon©
On January 11, 2010, simultaneous with the cancellation of Spider-Man 4, Sony announced that the franchise would be rebooted with a new director and new cast. The reboot film is scheduled to be released in summer 2012. DDDDAAAAMMMMMNNNNNN IIITTTT It'll never be teh same.
Zorc: The Dark One
So wait, the original director cancelled it and now someone else is making it?
~Shore
This is getting ridiculously out of hand. It was one thing with them rebooting things from 20 years ago, but now rebooting a franchise whose last film was released only a few years ago. That's just pathetic. Seriously, how about some new ideas.
Wizarus
Its always something going wrong with the Spiderman franchise.
~Shore
I actually thought Sam Raimi's first two were damn near perfect. The third one sucked though.
Zorc: The Dark One
I only liked the 3rd one cause it had Venom in it.
~Shore
Venom was underused.
EliminateHRN
I actually liked the 3rd one. It wasn't as good as the first two, but it was still good. Also, so the guy that played Spider-Man in those movies isn't playing him no more. I actually liked him playing SpiderMan. But they do need to come up with new ideas though. fenrir
For funk's sake. Can they move on to other super heroes? I mean, I like the first two films, but honestly. Turn the spotlight to some others.
Brushfire
After the third one (which was horrible), a new director (who will probably have fresh ideas and a different view on how things should be done) and a new screenwriter (who, will hopefully bring great ideas to the series) is what the series needed. As for the new cast... yeah, it'll never be the same. What were Sony thinking rebooting it? Idiots, we don't want to see the same storyline again with the same characters, and Sam Raimi was amazing at the first two films. Which reminds me that the World of Warcraft movie will be amazing as Sam Raimi writing it.
Snitch
Spiderman 3 gave me cancer. I'm still recovering. On another note, they should make a film of like...Hawkeye. =D
Zorc: The Dark One
Venom was underused. He was only used in the last few scenes...At least there was lots of Black Suit/ Symbiote Spider ManFor f***'s sake. Can they move on to other super heroes? I mean' date=' I like the first two films, but honestly. Turn the spotlight to some others.[/quote'] Did you like Iron Man Fenrir?
Sugoroku
Ive lost hope in the whole franchise. Tobey is the Heath Ledger of Spider-Man films. No one else can act the role as good as he does. I heard they were going to use the dude from Twilight as the new Peter/Spider-Man. No... they should have just went with Spider-Man 4 and ended the franchise. The series is too good for a reboot, I mean this is not the first Hulk that came out. I really wanted to see the original Green Goblin come back. I liked his character. He was evil but at the same time you felt sorry for his good side for having to suffer. I just hope my instincts are wrong the film is a success (if it even comes out). Farewell Spider-Man...
Zorc: The Dark One
I'm just glad I've seen all the original movies...sucks that Spider Man 4 isn't coming out though...I wanted to see Carnage.
Flame Dragon
What are they thinking? Really. Reboots should only be done if close to 10 years at the least have passed since the last movie in the franchise (Batman and Robin and Batman Begins have a 8 year difference) or the first movie in the franchise, or at least new franchise is horrible (Hulk). And while I do think this is a really bad move, you can not say off the bat that the reboot will be bad. At the very least we need to know who the stars of the new movie will be before we can say anything.

No... they should have just went with Spider-Mn 4 and ended the franchise. If this happens, I'm gunna be majorly pissed. Firstly, lolcedric doesn't deserve a place in such an amazing series after shaming himself in Twilight. Secondly, Peter is supposed to be an UNATTRACTIVE NERD, and therefore the role wouldn't fit. >_>

ZhaneX
^And I can't wait for it. Iron Man FTW.Also, a Captain America film is in the works I believe, as is a Thor film, followed by all of them being mixed into an Avengers Film. Anyway, on topic of Spider-Man 4...if it doesn't have a very bloody Carnage, I'm gonna lose it.And if they do have him, but don't make him a blood thirsty insane serial killer, I'll be even more upset. Zorc: The Dark One
My two favourite villians are Venom and Carnage.Imagine a 3rd Symbiote villian. I wonder what he would be called...?
ZhaneX
He would be called Toxin...no wait, Toxin's a hero. Though he could kick Venom and Carnage's asses.
Zorc: The Dark One
It'd be awesome if Venom and Carnage fused to create a monster symbiote creature.
