Dorry but Ergo proxy Fails hard compared to the epicness that is S-CRY-ED!

Also Fine have the Warant oficers have no leader And I un oficaly lead them kk....?

Set several years after "The Great Uprising", a future geological phenomenon in the Kanagawa Prefecture near Tokyo , people have developed a power granting them the ability to deconstruct, reshape, and crystalize matter at a molecular level using only thought and willpower. These people have come to be known as "Alter" users. With only 1% of the newborn generations receiving such special power, though this number rises steadily as the series progresses, some feel a superiority over normal humans.

There are two opposing forces of alters: the Native Alters, a group of Alter users who live outside the central city and avoid any relationships with the government; and HOLY, an organization of Alter users that are a subgroup of an organization called HOLD. HOLD functions as the Mainland government's super police force of the Lost Ground, while HOLY, composed exclusively of Alter users, serves as the 'special operations' group, aiding HOLD in performing dangerous missions that might require the help of an Alter user.

Kazuma (dubbed "The Treasoner" in the manga and "The Shell Bullet" in the anime) and Ryuhou are the two s-CRY-ed characters bearing a rivalry used to drive and focus the plot. They spend much of the series trying to defeat each other, even when they are forced to work together. Neither can forget their bitter rivalry.

There is also a narrator, Kanami. Kanami is a close friend of Kazuma, who protects her and treats her like a little sister. She narrates the series with her dreams, unknowingly using her alter power to 'scry' the emotions of the people she feels closely about. Her ability to peer into the emotions of the main characters is used frequently through-out the series to bring insight to the characters, and to tease viewers during previews for the next episode.

The series progresses through the initial introduction of the Alter power to a wider understanding of the politics and reason for "The Great Uprising". Each episode showcases a new Alter user, and their Alter, or a growth of the Alter of a previously introduced character. "The Great Uprising" is later revealed to be caused by a similar event in a parallel universe where all creatures are independent thinking Alters. During one of Ryuhou and Kazuma's battles, they open a gateway to the parallel universe, causing another uprising and attracting the attention of the Mainland government. The Mainland sends its agent, Kyouji Mujo, to the Lost Ground in an attempt to exploit the power of the parallel universe for economic gain. Mujo develops delusions of grandeur after becoming the defacto head of the Lost Ground government and absorbing the crystal entity from "the other side" to add to his already formidable Alter power. Both he and the crystal entity are defeated by the separate efforts of Kazuma and Ryuhou, respectively. The Mainland once again attempts to exert control over the Lost Ground by sending in a fleet of refined Alter users under their control, but they are defeated by Kazuma and Ryuhou.

After defeating the Mainland forces, Kazuma and Ryuhou engage in one final battle to settle their rivalry. After exhausting themselves to the point that they are too weak to maintain their Alters (and indeed, barely able to stand), they fight on with their bare hands till neither can move. In the next scene, a silhouetted fist is raised by the victor, arguably Kazuma. An epilogue, taking place years later, Kazuma and Ryuho remain the protectors of the Lost Ground, defending it from Mainland invaders. An older Kanami, who now has full control over her alter, awaits their return.

Kanon

kanon10.jpg

Changing schools is something Yuuchi is accustomed to, due to his parent's profession, and with their recent venture to Africa, he is returning to his aunt's home after 7 years. The time that has passed since his last visit has faded his memories of the people he knew, and the ties that bonded them to him, including his cousin Nayuki. Slowly those people, coincidently all being girls, find their way back to him. However, time has passed and things have happened in their own lives that sets the tone for the series. Secrets that are coming to surface, and memories that are returning to not only Yuuichi, but to those surrounding him. A very heartwarming tale that touches upon a spectrum of emotions, mystery, and the supernatural.

Idea For Ranks:

Emperor

Empress

Princess/Prince

Officer

Knight of Rounds

-- Knight of One is officially the highest rank' date=' but all other Knight of Rounds are of same rank.

Grand Warrior

Warrior

Knight

Civillian

Pheasent

[/quote']

Warriors sound stupid

Warrior = Knight

Civilian = Peasant

Officer is lower then knight of rounds. You don't watch Code Geass do you?

Kanon, I might watch if I have nothing else to watch.

It's only 13 episodes. I strongly reccomend it.

it's comedy/romace, but unlike most lighthearted ones I read, kanon gets kinda dark later on.

I'm readin the manga too. I must say, the anime art is much cleaner, but yuiichi looks much more mature in the anime.

You should check out the visual novel too if you are a fan of kanon, you'll really enjoy it. (Or any Visual Novel created by Key for that matter[Key = creator of Kanon])

Hey, the manga is good, and so is the anime! WHy don't you like it?

Plus, I like the manga of hayate better, but I just started on the anime. Kanon will always have a special place in my heart, though.

I just recently found out the makers of kanon were KEY because I found and looked up clannad after painsteaking measures, saw the drawings looked VERY similar to kanon..

Clannad is also in my anime to watch list

along with Code Geass and Kanon again!

I read the manga as well I hate both of them for Combat Butler.

Watch Code Geass is a must, also either read the manga of Full Metal Alchemist or watch Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Because Full Metal Alchemist ninja girls are awesome.

I know you hate it, but why? I mean, it has a good plot, likeable characters, and funny. Oh wait, it's the crossdress, innit?

I grew tired of FMA after watching the anime. It was ghood, but I was satisfied.

The first opening of FMA is awesome, though.

A manga I'd reccoment would be History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. It's like naruto (no, there's no ninjas) but done right! XD

Okay, bad comparison, but it's my 3rd fav series.

it's action and comedy.

I like the crude jokes, even though I don't get most of them.

Plus, the characters are overflowing with personality, and tht's enough to ake me read a manga.

Plus, the story is really good. (the story that comes out later, not the 'he's a butler who ahs to work to pay off his debt' story)

It seems to me most people either hate it or love it.

I've gotten 6 people here to read/watch it so far.

It's my goal on YCM XD

Hmm... I may have to check out the manga of FMA... seems interesting...

*adds FMA to list of manga to read*

a huge list it is...

most likely, that's why I never completely got rid of it. It's still on my list of anime to watch but it's being shadowed over my other animes. I mean already have 23 episodes on my external HD it's just I need to find time to watch it.

+ (rewatching) gurren lagann

- You Can (NOT) Advance

- Umineko

takes priority over FMA :P

((that and Visual Novels have been corrupting my life lately))

My list for anime:

Hayate the Combat Butler

Kanon

Code Geass

Clannad

My manga list:

I need to update this... I've gotten over Zeoro no Tsukaima... so I have to get into somethin else... maybe I'll just read clannad isntead... or Air. (also by KEY)

Anyway, I think Kids alive songs could make very good anime openings, but the only one that made it into anime endings was Bokura no Bouken (hikaru no Go)
