I use an English to Japanese translator when doing something anime-related :P

It's like freedict.com or something, can't remember.

It's especially helpful when devising attack names for RPs or abilities.

I know what you mean. For example, I had a bleach character that I had made and had him use a move called Frost Cannon. I had it translated to Shimou-hou though, because it sounds a lot cooler. ^_^

My Shinseiken from HB is roughly translated to "nova sphere" and stuff like Chisoku Fusion was=Speed Fusion.

Here's what I do.

 

English to Kanji: http://www.worldlingo.com/en/products_services/worldlingo_translator.html

 

Copy Kanji from that site and then paste into...

 

Kanji to Romaji: http://www.romaji.org/

 

Now of course the kanji translation from English isn't going to be perfect, but the romaji generator is pretty reliable (not that I'd really know I guess).

 

So to answer what you were wondering, yes you can use the second link to translate whole sentences and phrases from kanji into Romaji.

Romaji is nothing more than Japanese using the English characters. Essentially it was created by the Japanese as a means for English speakers to more easily learn the difficult character based language. So it's Japanese.

Romaji is just the letter form of speaking japanese, or at least that's what it's called.

Yeah. That's really all Romaji is.

 

You know, nothing about Shinseiken will change by converting it to Kanji... other than the fact that you won't be able to read it. Unless of course you meant you were going to try a better translation of the English name for it.

You see, I have been debating as to whether or not I should remake the thread so that I can actually edit the title and stuff, although I am not sure that it's really necessary. Also, Fusion thinks that if I remake the thread, there'll be an influx of new members, and a better chance of the thread staying active with said new members. Do you think I should go through with it, or no?

I needed a relaxed place to post what with recent events in Absolute Powerforce. That's why I actually posted in the Akatsuki as well, lol. Not to say I mean to abandon this thread or the Akatsuki after AP calms down of course.

 

I do believe remaking it would attract more people and potentially increase the number of regularly active members here. The title editing just seems to be a little plus on the side.

If anything, I think remaking the thread is a smart move if you're willing to bet on that chance of more active members. But if it falls back to just the people who already post here actively, it wouldn't have served much of a point.

I believe there's reason to believe it might a good move. Of course it all depends on your feelings. Anyway, if you do decide to remake it you might want to find a new name just to give the club a fresh start. You may also wish to self-report the first post of this club to have a moderator lock in if you do make a new thread.

For the new name, I think you should take out the "Anime-Tion club" part, though that's just me.

Maybe something like "The Multiverse of YCM" or "YCM's Multiverse"

Those may not be the best...but I'm low on creativity at the moment.

Well at any rate, I think I am going to remake it now, and remove the application being a requirement thing. That will likely help with getting more new members.
