Aesirson
[spoiler=Prologue]The room was lit up by a line of about five candles on the middle of the big, round table. Around the table was five chairs and a big, golden throne clothed in red cloth. On the throne sat a man with long, brown hair and a big beard of the same color. He was wearing a red robe, trimmed with golden silk. On his head sat an iron crown with five curved spikes. The crown had beautiful jewels lined along the base. The man himself had a worried, but still serious and calm expression on his face. The five chairs was taken by five other figures, including an orc, a human, a troll, a female of the Skybounds and a dwarf."I have ensembled you all here to discuss the increase of undead wandering the country lately." The man in the throne said, and looked around. "Any news from your side, Denzel?" The man turned to the other human at the table. The human had white, dirty hair and he looked like he was around fifty years old. His eyes was icy blue, and he was wearing an armor of black mithril, with skulls carved into the shoulderpads and a big skull on the chestpiece. He looked at the man in the throne and answered."Yes, King Percival." Denzel said. "The Black Templars encountered a smaller warband of horrorfiends marching around the outer reaches of the country Damascus.""And what did you do with them?" Percival asked."We separated a small part of the horde and... took care of them." Denzel grinned at the thought. He then took a more serious look on his face. "But the majority of them is on their way to the Rotten Fields, they are probably going for reinforcements, so that they can attack Damascus and purge it from any living creatures!""I say we smash 'em!" The orc smashed his hand into the table so that one of the candles fell to the floor and was darkened. The orc had long, black hair that was set up in three braids, with two of them hanging over his shoulders with the third hanging on his back. He had black eyes, and as most orcs he was green. Two underjaw fangs could be seen sticking out of his mouth. "Let me fix it!" The orc quickly said and picked the candle up, accidently breaking it into two pieces but he placed it back on the table, unlighted and with the upper part hanging from the lower one, only connected by the wick."Calm down, friend." The troll remained calm, this was very rare for a troll, as their kind often was as violent as the orcs. "I say we should fight back, don't let them take Damascus as their own, that way they would get a major foothold and could proceed to attack the rest of the human countries, and then maybe into troll or orc owned lands." The troll looked much like a human, but he was taller, about 2.10 meter, and he had a long, very bleak, braided beard and hair of the same color. He was wearing a leather armor. If it weren't for the curved horn on his forehead he would've looked just like a human."I'm sorry to say this, Thor Odinsson of Havengaard, but that's insane!" The Skybound woman said. She had long, blonde hair and emerald green eyes. As all Skybounds she looked much like a human except for the pointed ears. She was a beautifull woman and looked like if she was in her twenties (even though she may have been much older, since the Skybound can live for up to five-hundred years without changing appearance)"We should evacuate the city, I'd say." Denzel said. He ahd a serious look on his face. "The horrorfiends is a dangerous foe, Damascus won't survive an attack from a full sized horde of them.""Silence!" The king shouted, not a sound could be heard untill a loud snore was heard from the chair farest away from the throne. The dwarf was sleeping. "Barbaros? Wake up, old friend!""There's no use, I think he's drunk." The orc, who was sitting next to Barbaros, said and dragged the dwarf in his orange beard. "Yep, he's absolutely drunk.""Uh, anyway!" Percival raised from his chair. "I will not evacuate the city, I will stay here and fight, and my knights will do the same! Who's with me?""I'm with you." Thord said and raised his hammer, which he had kept on the floor next to his chair. A troll never leaves his weapon behind."It is my, and the Black Templar's, duty to defend the king!" Denzel unsheathed his sword and then raised it."Kill 'em, smash 'em and defeat 'em!" The orc raised from his chair and raised his fist."Foolishness! I will not stay here and see you all get slaugthered!" The Skybound woman raised from her chair and walked out of the room before any of the others got to say anything."Then it's settled, Denzel, ready the Black Templars for war!" Percival said."As you ask, my king." Denzel raised from his chair and walked towards the door. Thord looked at him as he left and then looked at Percival."I will ready the trolls I have garnisoned here, King of Humans." He too raised from his chair and walked out."Smash 'em!" The orc jumped out of his seat and rushed towards the door and left. Afterwards the king raised from his chair and walked outside, leaving the sleeping dwarf for hismelf. Yep, I posted this in Fan Fic, but didn't get any comments so I'll test my luck here. I will be like a GM who controls all NPCs in Damascus. [spoiler=Info][spoiler=Damascus]Damascus is the human country where this RP takes place. It's one of the smaller countries and contains open fields and mountains, with a few forests outlining the borders to the two other human countries, Ironstorm and Schwarzberg. To the southeast lies the Rotten Fields, home to the horrofiends and demon dragons. In the middle of Country Damascus lies the city Damascus, the smallest of the three human strongholds. Damascus is home to the Black Templars, who is an elite force of soldiers bound to the word of the King of Damascus. Damascus is home to most of the races of the Union, including humans, orcs, dwarves, trolls and a few Skybound. [spoiler=Races of the Union]The Union is, obviously, a union of races that has united to form peace. Even though many of them has conflicted with eachothers in the past, they have put their differences aside to form a special kind of friendship to fight of evils like the horrorfiends. The Union contains the following races: Humans: Yea, I think you can imagine how these guys look like. They make their home in one of the three human countries, Damascus, Ironstorm or Schwarzberg. The Damascus humans has darker skin then the two others, and they usually has dark hair colors as well as eye colors. Culture between the three human countries differ, but they all strive to serve goodness and peace. Humans has in the past fought against many of the other races, including orcs, trolls, myrmidons and to a lesser degree the Skybound. The Skybound: These are what normal fantasy stories would call "elves", but these are a breed of "superhumans" breeded from both humans and elves. The Skybound people is very skilled when it comes to the art of magic, but they do know how to handle a sword. They have a tragic history, beginning with the extinction of the elves, being chased underground and later their capital city, Zephyrion, was raised to the sky in an event called The Emerging. The Skybound that remained underground is now called Darkdwellers, and even though many of them has gone mad some of them is loyal to the Union. The Skybounds look much like humans, except for their pointy ears and they always has light hair colours, as well as green or blue eyes. Orcs: Big. Green. Brutish. That's how you describe an orc. Formerly they lived in the southern lands, but their lands was destroyed by horrorfiends, and is now home to the former nomadic people of the myrmidons. They now live together with the humans of Ironstorm, but they do have several outposts in the jungles of the south. Orcs are skilled fighters with axes and morningstars, but they aren't very intelligent, and such they don't train many mages. Trolls: They look like humans, except that they are a lot more muscular and the males has horns. They are also taller, with the males standing at a total of 2.1 meters at maximum, and the females 1.9 meters. They live in the northern wastelands north of Schwarzberg, and they has also since joining the Union became good friends of the Scwarzberg humans. Altough the trolls prefer the axes and swords made out of Titan Ice. Titan Ice is a very strong and magical metal only found in the northern wastes of Havengaard, where the trolls make their home. Titan Ice is a transparent and cold metal, dereby the name. Befor joining the Union, the trolls was enemies of most races, except the orcs for whatever reason, and humans, Skybounds and dwarves even had elite soldiers called The Trollhunters. Dwarves: Short and stubborn. Is there more to say about them, except for the beards? They live together with the humans in Schwarzberg, after that the homecaves is now infested with horrorfiends. The dwarves are skilled smiths and they are happy to give their allies the armor and weapon they need to fight the horrofiends and other enemies. Myrmidons: The fiercest, cruelest and most bloodthirsty race of the Union, their bloodlust is only outnumbered by the thirst of blood that the horrorfiends hold. They are also a very loyal people who has sworn their allegiance to the Union in exchange for a foothold in the once orcen jungles. Prior to this they were a nomadic people that lived by attacking caravans and smaller villages. Even though, the humans saw them as usefull and believe me, it's better to be their ally then their enemy! And now, how do they look? Imagine an ant sized like a human, walking on the two backer legs and wielding deadly weapons in the two front legs that has evolved into arm like limbs. They are mostly red, but colors differs between clans. They also use their strong jaws as weapons, and they are not stupid! They are in fact skilled in nature based magic, and a Myrmidonian mage is as deadly as a Myrmidonian warrior. This is only for males however, as the queen remains inside the hive, and only other myrmidons, altough rare, is allowed to see her. Nukarus: A very peacefull people, living south of the southern jungles, on the southern parts of all lands, the Great Fields of Gaia. The Great Fields is a savanah-like land, and it's the biggest of all lands. For the Nukarus, they are as large as a troll, and are humanoid rhinos. Yes, humanoid rhinos. Early in times, they became friends with the orcs of the southern (or northern, seen by the Nukarus' point of view) jungles. When their orcen allies fought agains the other races, the Nukarus was quick to help their allies, and when the orcs joined the Union, so did the Nukarus. Nukarus is together with the myrmidons the race closest to nature (Gaia), and their nature based magic is stronga nd they uses it in war, even their warriors uses it to enchant their weapons with the power of Gaia. If you would like a race to be added to this list, just PM me telling me about the story of this race and I will see if it can be added. (Werewolves is the only absolute no-no here, trolls hate them, and when I say hate, it's like HATE HATE HATE) [spoiler=Applications]Name:Age:Race:Gender: (Male-only for Myrmidons)Class: (Necromancers is the only absolute no-no)Appearance:Personality:Biography: Please be descriptive. For race, you can use hybrids (Orc-Human, Half-Dwarves and such, but be reasonable, Nukarus can't breed with Dwarves for example, and only chosen Myrmidons is allowed to breed, and in that case only with Myrmidons queens. I hope this RP will be more succesfull then the former Chrnoicles of Fantasy RPs that I've created. Be free to add any ideas to this RP by PM if you like, Chronicles of Fantasy is an ever-expanding world that is open for everyone and everyone's ideas. :D
