A Tekken 6 Question

Ok, so I've been practicing with Xiaoyu A LOT since I've been reading all over the internet how hard it is to play as her. And I agree. You have to know when to transition to Rain Dance, Phoenix and Hypnotist. Don't forget about frequently juggling your opponent just to dish out a ton of damage. On the other hand, my cousins, brother and friends are all spammers and/or button mashers. They laugh at me whenever I tell them to at least spend 10 seconds in the Command List since they have little patience when it comes to learning. One night, we all decided to have a small tourney without a prize lol. They all picked masher-friendly characters like King, Baek, Eddy, Hwoarang, Steve (2nd most annoying) and Law (the most intolerable character I've ever faced) while I chose between Leo and Xiaoyu. I sadly lost since I became lazy with them. What got me so mad was that after they won, these people cheered like they knew how to play with skill. There weren't any juggles in the matches I saw. They all relied on landing heavy hits and frequent grabs. My question is how do you deal with spammers and button-mashers because I really hate with a passion how they show off with pride that they have skill. Please refrain from calling me a noob because I know it's noobish to lose to these types of players. It's just that I have bad coordination. And I know there are people out there that can easily deal with mashers.

Try some one easier like Lei Wulong... Lay down and when they run to you smash them... It pissed my friends off when I kept doing it the button masher..
