.:pyramid:.
"Unsporting Conduct (UC) * UC –Minor: (Warning)o This penalty is appropriate when a player commits a minor intentional infraction. Players areexpected to behave in a sporting and professional manner towards everyone while at asanctioned event.+ A player makes a deliberately unfair trade with a less experienced player. [This penalty may be upgraded by the Head judge" source:tourny guidelines, penalty document firstly i supose it a good thing that konami are trying to protect younger duelists (but in reality, its to keep parents happy so they take their kid to another event, and of course keep these new duelists in the game because their not getting riped off). how can konami really police this, and whats to stop people abusing this rule, ie people may take little brothers to events, get them to trade with pro's, and if the older siblin happen to play them to get the little brother to complain, to get them a warning and if they already had a warning, it could get you a game win. I hope he pulls another E-Tele and goes to trade it for an old Jinzo. I'm happy that this new rule has been made. Too bad the Judge at my locals is a prick who rips everyone of if he can. Great Unclean One: VK
Hmmm. This'll go well liek when the U.S. tried prohibition. I know Konami had good intentions at best, but they probaly are just saying this and won't do anything.
Guest PikaPerson01
Seems impossible to enforce, considering the damn card stores that host the certain events do this as well. <_< (Eh, just my own personal experience from watching little kids trade in their decent cards for, say, two packs, then watching the store owner sell the card for 20+ dollars)

Guest PikaPerson01
After reading the thing over looks like an easy way to set up traps. <_< An "actually experienced" player gets some minorly acceptable and mildly valuable cards. Gorz, Ryko, Lightsworn Guy, A bunch of the cards from SE's. Makes purposely awful trades ("Mokey Mokey for my Gorz... well.... okay?") and then calls them all out on it. <_< Eh, just the phrasing of it is annoying to me: "A player makes a deliberately unfair trade with a less experienced player." The "experienced" player can say he didn't know it was deliberate. The experienced player can claim it was fair. The experienced player can say the guy isn't inexperienced, but is just attempting to abuse the system to **** everyone he traded with over. It seems like a "the judges will handle it" kind of thing, but if the judges are friends or whatever with the guy who performed the "unfair" trade I don't see anything of consequence happening. burnpsy
Sheesh. This is just plain stupid. Not only will most people not know or not care, but there's also subjective value, which can cause issues. Then there's exceedingly rare VS ridiculously useful. Flame Dragon
It has good intent, but it will never work.
werewolfjedi
there should be an age limit to this kind of thing, at the very least. plus, your friends should be able to notice and tell you it's a bad idea to trade x for y. if you are with your friends at least, you should be fine, but if your alone, you likely are old enough to know ,at a pratical level at least, what a certain card is worth, and if another card is worth just as much to you. all the places I go to has the requirement that anyone under 18 needs an escort somewhere in the room with them. Azuh
I'm not liking the whole "you can't play card games intoxicated" rule
Chaos Flame
I don't really see how this can get enforced. Besides, while at a tourney some nice more experienced player than I (back when I was no good at dueling) gave me a free il blud which really helped my zombies there. So there are some nice people out there.
