STEP 1) Go here. The page title is your band name.

STEP 2) Go here. The last words of the last quote (up to 5) is your album title.

STEP 3) Go here. The third picture, or the one on the upper-right, is your main cover picture.

 

What's this all for? Well, you're making an album cover using the above information. It's a really good way to stir your creative juices, and you don't need a ton of technical knowledge of Photoshop to do it.

1) This is a one-week contest, so entries will be open until January 16, 2010.

2) The dimensions of your album cover must be 400 x 400. (Obviously, my example doesn't fit that, but tough beans. :P)

3) You can't overpower the main picture you got.

4) You can abridge or abbreviate your band name, but you can't add to it. (For example, in the one I made, Tampa Massacre is short for the Tampalakamam massacre.

5) When posting your entry, provide a link to the Wikipedia page that you got and the full quote that you used for the album title.

6) Entries will be judged by Snitch and I, based on how well you incorporated the content you got and how realistic it would be for an album cover.

7) Prizes are yet to be determined, but only first place will get something.
