Monster Hunter Freedom Unite [PSP]

Well, i recently grabbed a Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on my way home and i could use some help.

 

I didn't got far yet as it seems impossible to beat the Bulldrome and congalala and stuff, help is required.

I cried wolf, here you are xD.

 

I main Sword & Shield, mainly because it's the easiest to use as the big swords and all that stuff are slow and a jabroni to hit with.

By the way, Giaprey was a pain to kill.

Pfft. Sword and Shield is useless. Until you get Poison Axe.

 

I suggest using a Longsword. Those are probably the best weapons in the whole game, as pretty much anyone can pick one up and own.

A great help to defeat the Congalala is the Pitfall Trap, and a Long Sword, this type of weapon is also very helpful when you are facing the Bulldrome, but the Pitfall trap don´t work on him, so try the shock trap. If you want more tips about this game, search for the Club MH.

Tried to stun a boar once, then i lost the game.

Fenrir is right a LongSword is the best type of weapon in the whole game.

But if you care about defense you can use also a Great sword, they are slower, but you can defend yourself with them.

Giaprey and all of those dudes said no to a Great Sword.

Greatswords are better for more experienced players that know the does and don'ts of the game.

 

Also, traps only work on boss monsters.

If you have these two types of weapons you could face many monsters, just switch to a long Sword when the monster is small, and the Great Sword when the monster is large.

This is the first time every playing that game.

Can y'all help me getting further into the game?

Or is Pokke Town the only town you get to visit?

You can have a cat that helps you in Quests.

Popo is a big animal, fat, hairy, and with big horns, and looks like a hairy elephant, is rather weak.

Also, in the jungle you have that small city of Felynes, what's up with that?

In the game there will be a group of cats that will steal your things, in that city yu get your things back.

Yeah, i noticed while they where doing an overkill rob on me.

As soon as one of those cats steal something, just return the favor by hitting them one/twice. It'll say you got your item back.

Yeah, i noticed, isn't it possible to get some kind of aim on your opponents? I mean it's kinda hard to keep hitting them.
