Project S.H.A.D.O.W. slept, but his dreams were no longer filled with nightmares. Nor were they filled with the beckoning of those who might have been his fathers. He now turned his attention upon the young Canoness Kurohime. Through the warp he gazed upon her in his sleep, watching the events unfolding around her. He sensed the doubt within her and chuckled quietly in his sleep. His gaze might give her and those around her the feeling that they were being watched. All he wished to do for now was watch and listen. Perhaps later he would let them know he knew that Kurohime was coming, but for now he simply watched from afar.

After the meeting, Kurohime collapsed on the bunk of her temporary quarters in the cloister.

She prayed to the God-Emperor, as usual, before going to bed, but she just kept lying awake, staring at the ceiling, thinking about Ter're, until she finally drifted off to sleep...

But, in her dreams, she found a dark void filled with nothingness, which surprised her, since she usualy had very different dreams about her past on Yamato, her homeworld.

She then sensed someone in the dream with her, and turned around to see...a young man.

This was an ordinary-looking citizen of the Imperium, very average build, very average features, very average attire.

Yet something seemed off, as if he was TOO average to be real.

"Who are you?" she asked the average man.

OOC: I'm just assuming the person Kurohime saw in her dream was project S.H.A.D.O.W.

IC: Project S.H.A.D.O.W. chuckled quietly as he realized he was discovered within her dream. He turned slightly, changing his form into whatever it was that would be most "appealing" to her before approaching her. As this was only a dream there was not much harm he could do, but a message could be sent. "I am the one you are looking for, and I know that you are coming." With that he dispersed from her dream, yet his gaze remained upon her. He did very much want to see her reaction to this and the thought of it filled him with delight. He could not wait for her arrival, yet fear remained within him. The ever present unfounded fear of those of the Adeptus Soritas.

Kurohime awoke in a cold sweat.

"Mistress! Are you alright?!?"

Clare rushed in, and gave her Canoness a towel.

"I'm alright, but I need to send a message to an old friend."

"O'Ter're?"

"No. Commander Solis of the Imperial Fists."

"But you two haven't spoken in decades! Why should he help you?"

"Because I have a hunch on where S.H.A.D.O.W. might be, and the others wouldn't like how I came about this."

Clare, knowing her superior was quite unorthodox, sighed.

"I'll see if I can get my hands on an astropath that can get someone near Commander Solis."

"Good girl."

Project S.H.A.D.O.W. awoke, a wide smile upon his face as he did. He calmly stood up from his makeshift throne and simply began walking out of what he had chosen to make his private chambers. He once more began to wander the halls of the Installation, listening to the echoes that were the result of the Inquisition's coming so long ago. He smiled slightly as he heard the echo of his own voice and spoke in unison with it as it replied to the dying Grey Knight Grandmaster.

"I...I am a monument to all your sins."

He laughed maniacally as the echo reverberated through the halls, though sadness remained in his voice and in his mind. It was on that day that he had lost anything he ever loved and now he sought only vengeance, though he needed to know who was ultimately responsible for all their deaths. He had had a long time to think and still had no real idea.
