This monsters attack increases when a spell or trap is destroyed, a machine is in the graveyard, when there are fiend or dark monsters in your graveyard (500 points) and when a card is played, drawn and destroyed (100 points),. This monster cannot effected by spells, traps or monsters. All machine monster are put into defence mode.

"Accumilation of Sins" is an Archangel that bears the sins of all those who have passed on (removed from play) and sends them to that special place in the sky where the Archangels reside (being face-down, lol). Thus, providing those monsters with redemption. The absorbed sins twisted this creature into the form that you see now.
