Erzet stirred upon the mattress within the cool stone confines of his room, taking advantage of the shade from the fierce sun above. The importance of shade in the Wastes was perhaps the first lesson every child learned—amidst the sprawling, arid dunes of the Gerudo Desert, the very wind was scented with dry, tortuously slow death, and the scorching sun spared no creature who dared its rays at midday unprotected. Not even a Gerudo.

Rising from his bed with a graceful movement, Erzet stepped briefly into the square of golden light cast upon the stone floor through his window, revealing himself to be a slender, tanned, and dark-haired young man with flashing emerald eyes. From his vantage point, set high in the stone walls of the Gerudo Fortress rising from the cliffs, he could make out several Gerudo below, heavily shawled in the heat, striding across the compound in obvious states of agitation and fear. Few people stopped to talk with one another, and those that did moved in groups, as if they feared attack. All of them carried weapons with a chilling sense of familiarity.

The bitter taste of dissatisfaction spread across Erzet's tongue as he regarded the Gerudo briefly—for all that he might be an outlander from beyond the Wastes, it still pained him greatly to see his people in such a terrible state of fear and disarray. Since Ganon's mysterious escape from his prison in the confines of the Sacred Realm, suspicion and uncertainty had clutched the Clan of Thieves, turning them like jackals against one another during a time when they most needed unity. Despite himself, he also felt a touch of unease as he considered the unsettling situation in which the Clan of Thieves found themselves—while Ganon had been their King in the centuries past, few had given him any thought, locked away as he was. Now that he had broken free, many had expected him to return to his people at once, demanding obedience despite the countless years he been absent.

When Ganon failed to present himself, the fear surrounding the Gerudo had only worsened—by his silence and absence, had the King of Evil found them unworthy of his service? Did he consider them traitors? Was he waiting in the shadows, even now, for them to openly declare their allegiance to him before materializing? And what would happen if the Gerudo failed to pledge themselves to him? Erzet leaned slightly against the stone edge of the window, a preoccupied frown spreading across his dark features as he considered the tangle of politics that accompanied the entire affair.

By remaining in the shadows, away from the eyes of the people, Ganon has caused much more chaos and suspicion than he ever could have had he declared his presence, Erzet thought, bringing to mind the rising tide of hysteria and conflict that had begun to grip all of Hyrule. I only hope Nadere and the other Elders can keep the Clan together in these difficult times... for everyone's sake.

The sun was directly above a horse that carried two cloaked figures across the great Hyrule Field, heading in the direction of Hyrule Castle.

"Hey-" One of the figures suddenly said, a woman, sitting in reverse on the back of the horse, "Are we there yet?" she complained.

No response came from the other rider.

"Hey, are you listening buddy?" she said, annoyed.

A few seconds passed before a loud snore came from the other figure.

"WHA?!" the woman yelled in surprise, "Are you sleeping?! WAKE UP!" she yelled, shaking the rider.

Her efforts were rewarded as the other rider stirred after a few seconds.

"Huh? Wha-, oh...I'm on a horse..."

"No duh genius! How could you sleep like that?"

"Huh? Who're you lady? Why're you on my horse?...you sound cute though, so I guess it's okay."

"Wha?!" crying out in surprise, the woman slapped the man riding upfront, brushing his long hair aside to show an already present red-mark in the shape of a hand, "I hired you to take me to Hyrule Castle, remember?!"

"Huh? Oh right...ow," the man said, remembering what had been going on before he'd fallen asleep while rubbing the hand-mark, now with a fresh layer on it, "So why'd you wake me up then?"

"I wanted to ask how much longer until we get there."

"That's it? Well, not long, I can see it coming up in the horizon." the man said, pointing to the large castle sticking up on the horizon.

Name: Raven

Gender: Male

Race: Hylian

Physical Description:

Raven_2_by_Dragonarh1.jpg

Personality: Raven is a kind and gentle person who would rather spend his days living in peace with his friends and family. However, the ensuing chaos due to the fragmentation of the 2 triforces pieces, the one of wisdom, and the one of power, has left him with no choice but to take up his armaments of war and fight to protect all that he holds dear. Where once was a kind man, there now stands one who will stop at nothing to return peace to Hyrule, short of breaking his own moral code.

Biography: Raven is a descendant of the Hylian knight of the same name who had helped to free the oracle of ages Nayru from the grasp of the Mistress of shadow and darkness Veran, and also fought against the monstrous form of a creature that resulted in Twin-Rovas failed attempt to revive Ganon when Veran fell. Raven has known of these events all his life, as it is one of his favorite stories. Raven was at home with his wife when he realized that evil was running amok in the land of Hyrule, and immediately knew what he had to do, although he didn't like it one bit. With that, he sets out on his quest. His first task is to see what he can glean from investigating what used to be Ganons castle before attempting to find the last fragments of the Triforce.

Weapons: In addition to his normal sword, he also has the Noble Sword that was passed down through his family line, which has the ability of firing a beam from its tip when swung.

Seed Satchel: Allows Raven to carry a seemingly unlimited number of mystery seeds. It was given to him by an old hag when he helped with an extremely important errand shortly before becoming a knight.

Seeds of Mystery can have varying effects: they have many effects. i'll try to list them all here.

They can distract monsters by releasing a strong smell, set things aflame, freeze things, temporary immobilize enemies or temporarily give him a major speed boost, get information from stone owls or gossip stones, and take him to fixed locations or send enemies flying into the air.

Seed Shooter: a gun-shaped toy that was modified to shoot seeds instead. this increases the speed and accuracy of the seeds being fired, making it more highly favored then the slingshot that he used before.

Boomerang: can home into and temporarily stun one enemy or a succession of enemies before returning to him, even if he moves.

Bow and Arrow: a specially modified bow that can use Hylian magic to make and fire arrows and increases the speed and power of arrows being fired from it, making it highly useful.

Cloak: Raven always wears this, but he can occasionally use it to hide his presence as long as he is not moving.

Ocarina: It's a normal Ocarina, but Raven uses Hylian magic to give it added effects. currently it is primarily used for summoning Raiza to him in an instant.

Means of transport: His horse that he had won in a race on Eponas farm. his name is Raiza, and is one of the best steeds in all of Hyrule.

Side: Hyrule Royalty

||||He had finally made it. It had been a long journey, but Raven had finally arrived at the path that led to what was once the castle of Ganon, the Evil King of Darkness. His goal in sight, he squeezed his heals against the sides of his horse Raiza, although it hadn't needed any encouragement. Raven was very proud of his steed, as Raiza was much like himself and knew how to master his fear. Raven could feel it as well, a fear gripping at his heart. Clawing, tearing, demanding to be acknowledged and obeyed, but if there was one thing that Raven had learned, it was that giving into his fear would only lead to ruin.

||||As they approached the end of the path, Raven could see where the path ended. Raiza began to slowly decrease his speed until finally stopping at the utmost precipice where if you looked straight down, you could see the edges of what used to be nothing more then a giant molten lake of lava. Looking over to where the castle had once stood, he found that it was much the same as before. It was, huge, ominous, black against the sky, and most importantly, still in shambles. Raven shivered as he remembered how different things would have been if it had not been for a brave warrior who had somehow gathered the power of the six sages and defeated Ganon.

||||Deciding that there was nothing else that he could learn from his search, he dismounted in disappointment and led his horse away from the edge, then looked back and noticed what at first seemed like scribble marks and nothing more. Deciding that he might as well take a closer look, he walked back over and saw what appeared to be a set of bars and notes. above the bars and notes, he saw that someone had written Nocturne of Shadow. Quickly Memorizing the notes, Raven gets up and walks back to his horse, quickly mounting it, but then taking out his ocarina. Well...nothing ventured.... Bringing the ocarina to his lips, he plays the melody that had been inscribed into the ground, surprised to find that the letter and music appeared in front of him from where they had been on the ground. Before he had a chance to realize what was going on, he and Raizen had been transformed into particles of light and whisked away to who knows where, Raizen letting out a surprised whinny as it happened.

ooc: Actually no, Shadow. You've just sent yourself to Kakiriko, my character is in Hyrule Castle Town.

IC:

The morning had progressed slightly but Lorenz had very little to do. No orders, no soldiers yet. His day looked like it was going to turn out to be pretty boring. Lorenz looked up when he heard the sound of the town mailman at the door. Lorenz waited as he disliked the odd conversations with the over-zealous mailman. He could hear he had moved on. Lorenz walked to the door and brought in a single letter. Just looking at it unsettled something inside of himself. The letter bore the royal seal of the Zoras on the back! Lorenz immediately tore it open and read to himself.

"To my son Lorenz Vibbard,

I can only hope you receive this, as I have no idea where you are. If you do receive this know that I want you to come back home. Zora's domain is no longer the place you thought it was when you left. We've moved on and want you back. We miss you greatly and want to see you soon. Please forgive me.

-Your father.

Lorenz was unsure how to react. He set the letter down and told Amy that he would be setting out to Zora's Domain and that he would be gone for a few days. She took it as a bit of a shock but complied.

Lorenz hurried out the door. Several more town members acknowledged him but he payed little mind. He slowed as he passed a group of Hylian soldiers who had just seemed to be done training. One man, Ale, in particular stood out. Lorenz had seen him train before, he was so passionate about what he did.

--oh, well then it looks like i effed up then. xD ah well, back to the old drawing board.

||||Raven and his horse Raizen suddenly appeared in front of a small house that had a rather large fenced in area where they went from particles of light back into solid forms. Raizen stumbled a bit and almost fell while Raven had to clutch on to Raizens mane in order to keep himself from falling out of the saddle, which would have been a very embarrassing situation for anyone riding on horseback. Looking around while he pushed himself upright, He noticed a young maiden who was about to put a chicken back inside with all the others in the enclosed area. Taking advantage of the woman's momentary bewilderment, the chicken that had worked so hard to escape and evade her for so long finally broke free and ran running off towards the center of town.

||||"Oh darnit!" she yelled in frustration before staring at Raven with a glower looking for all the world as if she was about to say that it was all his fault the the chicken had gotten away. Sighing exasperatedly, Raven got out his boomerang and covered it with a protective magic shield of a type that would ensure the chicken came to no harm and threw it towards the would be escapee. Quickly overtaking the runaway chicken, it lifts back into the air and turns in a wide circular motion, only letting go of it's hold when it was within the boundaries of the enclosed area that the other chickens were in and allowing the chicken to fall to the ground, squawking indignantly as it flapped it wings so as to at least land safely. As the boomerang zoomed back over to Raven who caught it, the chicken turned and glowered at him before stalking off towards the chicken coop.

||||Sighing in relief the young maiden sighs and says "Thank you so much for getting that chicken for me, it has always been the one to cause the most trouble." Looking over to the maiden as she spoke to him Raven gave a reassuring smile and said "Glad I could help. After all, it is partially my fault that it escaped." As Raven said this, the maiden blushed in embarrassment and for lack of better conversation said "I see you were able to use the Nocturne of Shadow to get here quickly?" Still not quite sure that what was happening was real or not, she was careful as to phrase the statement as a question. Raising an eyebrow Raven said "Apparently so, although I don't think I have quite mastered it yet. After all, it left me racked with pain when I arrived, so that tells me that I didn't show up where I was supposed to.

||||Hearing what Raven had said, the maiden had averted her gaze, as though there was something troubling her. Thinking that it would be best not to distress the maiden any further, Raven asks "Do you know where I might be able to find information about what is causing this calamity?" The maiden looks slightly relieved at the change of topic and turns to face him again, slowly shaking her head as she does so. "There's no-one here who would be able to help you, I think. The only thing that I can suggest is to go to the Zoras domain and ask for their guidance. As the wisest race in all Hyrule, they should be able to aid you with the answers you seek." Thanking the maiden, Raven quickly turned Raizen around and galloped out of Kakariko Village as fast as he could possibly go. Reaching the steps leading away from it and reaching the the river in about five minutes, Leo looks around and is almost about to head off to the Zoras domain when he sees one walking towards him, although clearly deep in thought and not paying him any heed. How unusual for a Zora to be out and about and traveling outside of water. Still, this a a stroke of good fortune, perhaps he shall be able to give me the answers i seek and i won't have to make the extra trip. If so, that'll mean that my quest will be able to take a shorter amount of time then it otherwise might have.

--okay, so if i am remembering the ocarina of time map layout correctly, (which i am) Lorenz would be passing Raven by as he heads to the entrance of Zoras domain, right? =/

OoC: Do you guys think we should be able to access the Temple Songs that transport us? It kind of seems to defeat the purpose of Means of Transport...

===

Erzet dressed quickly, sliding his arms into their gray cloth armguards and slipping on the pair of trademark black boots he favored. Despite the many calming exercises he had attempted, he was restless and agitated—for the moment, it appeared that he could do nothing to help hold his people together; meddling around without the consent of Nadere and the other Elders would only worsen things.

Besides, he thought, throwing the gray scarf around his head and folding it neatly into a hood to protect from the sun, it's not like bringing back heaps of treasure will help anyone at the moment... Confident in the fact that he wouldn't be missed until nightfall—the Gerudo Valley was a large place, after all—he made up his mind to visit the ruins of the Desert Colossus, deep in the Haunted Wasteland. The journey was approximately three hours into the Desert if he went at a fast trot upon Casban, so he could easily manage it; just to be sure, he turned and grabbed three firmly closed water bags from a stone table, filled to the brim with the precious liquid gathered from the Valley's entrance. Done dressing, Erzet strode from the room, pushing aside the hanging curtain that served as a door due to the Desert's lack of trees.

About half an hour later, Erzet was astride Casban, his scarf wound around his head, guiding the horse slowly down the backstreets of the compound by the reins, taking care to avoid being seen—while what he was doing wasn't exactly forbidden, many of the Gerudo regarded the Desert Colossus and the ruins of the Spirit Temple as dangerous places, haunted by terrible and vengeful ghosts. Fortunately, Erzet had visited the Desert Colossus many times since he had first stumbled upon it at the age of fourteen, and no harm had befallen him—rather, he had instantly fallen in love with the ancient, stately, and graceful lines of the Spirit Temple, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sand.

As he came to the edge of the shadowy cover provided by the looming Gerudo Fortress, he could make out Someryn, one of the female Gerudo Guards, standing firmly by the Gate that led to the Haunted Wasteland. Someryn meant well, he figured, but she was often slightly manic about maintaining the rules, and she certainly wouldn't allow Nadere's son to enter the barren Wasteland without raising trouble. Sliding off Casban silently, Erzet bent down and hefted a small and firm stone, shaped by the desert wind. Reassuming his seat with an equal amount of noise, he edged his horse forward and hurled the stone into a low stone building directly across from him, where it produced a loud series of metallic clangs—the smithy. Someryn hurried forward at once into the building to investigate, spear at the ready, leaving the Gate unguarded except for the other Gerudo who controlled the portcullis from a vantage point above. From her position, the Gerudo manning the Gate could not see him.

Clicking his tongue softly, Erzet guided Casban into a quick walk through the raised Gate, the horse's hooves soft upon the thick sand that characterized the Haunted Wasteland. As soon as they had passed a sufficient distance from Someryn and the other Guard, Casban broke into a speedy trot, drawing them deeper into the swirling sands that spun upon the air. Within moments, the Haunted Wasteland had swallowed them alive.

Ale sighed as he walked through the streets of Castle Town, his sweaty cloth still draped around his neck. He knew he looked fairly undignified, wearing a cheap, stained and horribly smelling shirt without sleeves and a pair of pants nearly as bad, but he hoped the bejeweled sheath at his waist and his reputation would excuse him from public scrutiny.

It seemed like he was right. Random civilians still greeted him like they always did, and a merchant offered him a free apple as he passed by, 'for his services to the city'.

As he bit into the throught, Ale also bit back his tongue. He hadn't done anything to protect the city, at least not yet. If Ganondorf didn't yet control Castle Town, the reason for it had nothing to do with him. Strong a warrior as he felt he was at the moment, he was nothing in the face of such dark magic.

He sighed as he eventually flopped himself down into the chair of his favorite pub. The lighting was dingy, but the walls and floors were clean enough and the barmistress could be seen visibly cleaning the glasses.

He grimaced up at the young, airy looking woman behind the counter. "Something strong." he said after a second. The waiflike figure nodded and reached behind her for the bottle of alcohol. "Rough day?" she said in a dreamy, nonchalant voice.

Ale nodded slightly. "More or less." he muttered. "Just trying to drown out the worries..."

She nodded and poured something black and thick as molasses into a glass, using a spoon to get it out, before slicking it down with some cheap ale from a casket and a couple dashes of Radish Wine. She stirred it with a long metal rod, partially heated, so that the dark substances mingled with the light. She passed it over to him, and he nodded graciously and dropped a few rupees on the table.

Lorenz quickly moved to the edge of the town. The guards wondered where he was going and simply responded that he was going back to Zora's Domain for a day or two. The guards took note of his leaving, as thy did keep track of those who entered and left. Lorenz moved past and walked over the drawbridge into Hyrule field. It truly was a beautiful sight but still not exactly the best way for a Zora to go about traveling. Thankfully the river in between Hyrule Castle and Kakiriko village, though it would take a bit of time, led straight to Zora's Domain. Using the river would be much more suited to Lorenz's abilities.

As he moved towards the river he could see a single traveler on horseback coming from Kakiriko in the distance. Lorenz, not exactly the traditional look for a Zora, must have been a truly odd sight for him. Still better that he not bother anyone on his way. As Lorenz approached the river first he dove in. It had been awhile since he had last been in water, though a Zora could never possibly forget how to swim. He began at first to simply let the flow of the river carry him as he floated on his back and relaxed a little.

Raven saw the Zora jump into the water and at first thought to himself Oh great, now i'm going to have to either chase after him or just go straight to Zoras domain myself. then he noticed that the Zora was simply floating on his back and letting the river carry him along which prompted the thought of Well, I guess he must have been in Hyrule town for a long time, it's the only reason I can think of for his wanting to let the river carry him as opposed to actually swimming in it. Deciding that there was no need to get all worked up, Raven dismounted from Raizen and gave him a quick pat on the nose, then got out a pretty fair sized carrot which Raizen gratefully accepted and started eating. Just as Raizen had finished eating the carrot, the Zora started being concealed by the bridge that led from Kakariko villages entrance to the Hyrule fields. Smiling to himself, Raven went to the other side of the draw bridge and waited for the Zoras face to appear before saying from where he was looking down at the river "Greetings friend. Nice day for a swim isn't it?"

Tirado zoomed over the streets of Hyrule Castle Town. He could feel the presence of the energy which emnated quite powerfully among the crowds of people. It was the energy he was meant to look for, the one which indicated that his master was near. As he moved with agility, but carefulness to make sure only his master could see him, Tirado flew over the central square. It would be easy to avoid any contact with anyone who wasn't his destined master, for everyone else was seemingly occupied with their business, to busy to look up and see a flying blue, radiant speck above their heads. As the energy he was looking for started to decrease rapidly, he knew his destined master had left the area. But where, Tirado wondered. He didn't want to lose his destined master as he did the first time.

Please, Nayru, help me find the one I need. Open my eyes to the light, and let me see the true way to victory! Tirado muttered as he hid behind a builing, brown in color, with giant bricks intricately placed to make the building not only sturdy, but elegant. Now that Tirado was still, his features could be seen, like his blond hair, and light blue eyes. The tunic which he wore had blue and white woven into simple designs, like a circle and a triangle on the upper part covering Tirado's chest. His boots were leather, deep brown and splattered with dirt, showing how adventurous he was.

Even after his prayer, fueled by love only, was uttered under the breath of a Nayrurian in desperate need of help, the prayer only echoed silently across the small space Tirado was in, to only be finally shot into the air, and becoming unexistant. Maybe she was busy? No, she doesn't answer prayers. But Tirado will keep trying, which proves his love and favor of Nayru.

"I suppose you could say that. Not that you'd know." Lorenz said. He didn't care to stop in one position to talk; or move for that matter. If this traveler really wanted to talk to him he'd follow anyway; and if he didn't, all the more reason to swim away. He looked up into the sky and could see storm clouds all around. For whatever reason there had been a lot of rain in the past years. Some said it was the work of Ganon, others said the goddesses were punishing the world. Lorenz liked to believe there was a more natural cause to it but couldn't find one. As he thought more clouds appeared over their area.

"Looks like it's going to be raining again soon." he said quietly.

"So, no beating around the bush, what do you want? No Hylian stops a Zora they don't know just to say hi. Not to mention I need to be on my way." Lorenz said to the man.

"Well then I guess we should get moving then shouldn't we?" Raven jogs to the side of the bridge that the entrance to Kakariko village is on and then stops and thinks for a moment. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I had a good swim. Trusting Raizen to find his own way to the Zoras domain, Raven jumps into the river and swims until he is level with the Zora, then flips on his back and floats on the river with his arms over his head. "I do like to occasionally greet people regardless of species, but in this case you are right. I am trying to find out what's causing this current calamity that seems to be befalling all peoples in Hyrule, and I was told that I would do well to consult with a Zora. I was hoping that you might know, although you look to have more important things on your mind at the moment." Leo stays silent for a while, silently looking up at the dark clouds that were moving towards them before saying "I don't know about you, but i'd sooner arrive at your homeland not getting rained on then waiting for the downpour to start. If you'd rather not hurry though, i can go on ahead alone." Raven would rather have the company since it had been a long time since he had had a friendly conversation with anyone, but he did not wish to impose himself on others if he was not wanted. And then there are those dark clouds. I have heard many rumors concerning them, but I just don't know what to believe......

Erzet guided Casban steadily through the treacherous sands of the Haunted Wasteland with a practiced air—both of them had visited the Desert Colossus many times before, but it did not do to drop one's guard during the journey. As he had seen too many times before from the occasional Gerudo that dared to brave its depths and failed to return, Erzet knew that the desert did not take kindly to those that made mistakes.

The path they were following was lined with tattered red flags, barely visible in the dry wind and the sand that floated upon the air—supposedly, the flags had been in place for hundreds of years. Perhaps even dating back to the time when the Gerudo had first settled the valley bordering the barren desert so long ago, some said. The River of Sand—a large, wide swathe of fast-running quicksand that cut the Wastelands in half—had been crossed easily enough with a running leap from Casban, but navigating through the maze of scarlet flags was the true challenge when it came to reaching the Desert Colossus. It was quite easy to be misled off the true path; unfortunately, it was not nearly as easy to survive amidst the raging sandstorms and mirages.

It was said that long ago there was a guide to this place, Erzet thought idly to himself, bringing to mind one of the old legends of the Clan of Thieves and redirecting Casban to the left with a firm movement. A sort of ghost that led worthy travelers through the dangers of the Haunted Wasteland to the Desert Colossus... Whatever it was, there's no such thing here now. Erzet straightened and pushed in firmly with his knees, increasing Casban's pace—despite the many trials of the desert, this place held a special meaning for him; it was where he felt most like a Gerudo, with his soul bared under the scorching sun with nothing to hide, tempered by the sand and winds. It was the true domain of the Goddess of the Sand.

Erzet's tanned features relaxed as he brought to mind the sacred Spirit Temple in the Desert Colossus dedicated to the Gerudo's patron deity. For some reason he couldn't quite identify, just being within the Temple's ancient confines always had a soothing effect upon him. Perhaps there, amidst the thousands of hieroglyphs and drawings that decorated its walls, he would find the wisdom necessary to hold the Clan of Thieves together in these difficult times. He snapped his reins more firmly and guided Casban past two flags. Although he could not see it due to the raging sandstorm all around, Erzet knew that the Desert Colossus was straight ahead.

"Hurry, Casban," he urged his steed, eyes flashing. "We're almost there."

Nero and Marian's horse strode into Castle Town, Marian immediatly jumping off from the horse and walking away, only to have her arm grabbed by Nero.

"Hey now, where do you think you're going?" Nero asked, his voice now sounding annoyed.

"Uh, heh, the Castle?" Marian stuttered out, a bit hesitant.

"Oh yeah, without paying me huh?" Nero said, an angry grin on his face under the chocker he wore.

"...oh...right...ah, here." Marian said, reaching into her cloak's pocket, pulling out a few ruppees and handing them to Nero, who simply stood there for a few moments.

"...this is only half of what you agreed to pay me..." he said slowly.

"Ah, riiight, about that...I don't actually have that much money on me right now..."

"...whatever, it's enough to park my horse in the stables for the day so I can rest...you do realize that if you weren't a woman, you'd be two men right now?" Nero said, more than a bit upset at losing out on some pay.

"...what?" Marian said for a moment, before glancing at the oversized sword Nero used as a weapon, "oh...ah thanks!" she said before running off as fast as her legs could carry her through Castle Town.

Nero then headed to the stables, using the money Marian had given him to rent a stall for his horse for the day. Paying the stable master, Nero decided to take what money he had left and go to the nearest bar.

"What idi- excuse me, who told you to consult with the Zoras? I doubt those fools are in any position to help the people of these lands." Lorenz said remembering how the people had been before he left; they had wanted to go to war against the people of Hyrule. Now to here someone saying they were wise was a bit much for him. True his father's letter said that was different now, but Lorenz could hardly believe it. Lorenz's statement must have seemed very odd; a Zora insulting the Zora race?

"Anyways, you'd best be getting back on your horse; that is if you want to be able to talk with me." Lorenz said. At that he sped off swimming at a speed no human could hope to to match or maintain. Of course he stayed at a speed where if Raven was on his horse he would be able to keep up fine.

||||"Hehehe...just who are you underestimating now?" Raven smiled as he swam to the edge of the river, then turns to look over at Raizen and says "We'll meet up at the Zoras domain, okay?" Waiting only long enough for Raizen to give a single nod, Raven reaches into his seed satchel and pulls out several seeds of mystery. Taking one and crushing it in his other hand, he breathes in the fumes and then starts running, easily catching up to and keeping pace with the Zora swimming in the water. "You know, I've never heard of a Zora insulting his own people before. I thought that there was something strange about you, but I had no idea that you held any animosity for your own race." As Raven and the Zora continued racing one another, Raven took the uncompleted earthen pathways that crisscrossed over the ground, running ahead and stopping somewhere along the way, placing his hand against the wall and waiting for the Zora to catch up before saying "My names Raven, by the way. May i ask your name?"

"Lorenz Vibbard, with the unfortunate luck of being the son of the Zora High councilman Vibbard. I have good reasons to dislike them. But I don't want rumors about what went on there spreading so you'll have to forgive me for not telling you why. Anyway, my father asking through a letter is the only reason I'm going back; I'm quite happy with my life in Hyrule Castle Town." Lorenz said. This Raven person did intrigue him, a human able to run that fast? He hadn't seen that since the current postman's father had still been alive. Lorenz wanted to stop thinking about the other Zoras for a bit.

"You know even at this pace it'll still take us most of the day to reach Zora's domain. Anything else you'd care to talk about?" he asked.

||||"Well now that you mention it, I was wondering how a Zora lives in Hyrule town. I mean, you usually live in water, right? Anyway, I can understand not wanting to go into the details of your personal life." Raven had a bit of history as well, although nothing he considered bad. He was more mischievous in his youth though, and that had led him to getting into fights with the guards. He mellowed out a bit in his teen years, but his parents had thought it safest to send him to train to become a knight. Breaking the train of thought that he was following, Raven noticed that Raizen was finally starting to catch up. "Anyway, we can sit here and talk for as long as you like. once we're done talking I can use one of these to get us to your homeland within a matter of minutes." Raven gestured towards the seeds of mystery that he had in his hand and for lack of anything better to do, put one in his mouth and used his teeth to crush it since he had yet to do that. taking a deep breath in, he slowly exhaled and noticed that many hundreds of tiny beads of light shot out when he did this, shooting through the water and leaving deep thin holes in the ground. Completely caught by surprise, Raven looks first at the seeds in his hand, then at Lorenz and thinks Note to self. NEVER do that again unless fighting a whorde of monsters.

--yeah, i made that up on the spot. i'll probably think of other things later, but i thought this would make the story a little more interesting. oh, and just to let everyone know, Raven did not know what would happen when he played the Nocturne of Shadow, i only did that to help my character along a bit in the beginning.

"Well thankfully there are several bodies of water right around Hyrule Cast-" he was cut off as the lights shot off everywhere. Lorenz flinched as one of the shots hit the water right in front of him and another just to his left. Lorenz just sort of stared at Raven for a bit. Raven seemed as surprised as he was.

"What was that for?! Are you trying to kill me, or yourself? I'm gonna keep moving. I suggest you do too instead of messing around with those things." Lorenz said. He placed his right hand on his left shoulder and used the sapphire on his wrist to keep some water around it. One of the rays hand grazed his shoulder but he wasn't about to show Raven. His swimming in no way impaired by the cut he sped off, the water around his shoulder would heal it soon enough anyway.

||||"Wha-hey! Wait up!" Raven crushed another Mystery Seed in his palm and started running, easily catching up with Lorenz again. "I swear to you, that has never happened before! Are you all right? I hope you weren't injured when that happened." Oh great! My first meeting with a Zora and I'm ALREADY off to a bad start! Raven stayed silent after offering his apology, hoping that he hadn't inadvertently messed things up to bad. Meanwhile, Raizen who had just then caught up, found a Mystery Seed that Raven had dropped and crushed it with his hoof. Breathing in the fumes, Raizen let out a short but excited whinny and sped off after Raven and Lorenz.

"Where could he be... where could he be!" Tirado was now panting furiously, and sweating profusely. His radiant blue covering flicked from deep blue to light blue, pausing sometimes between intervals. He zoomed around aimlessly, while he could've been looking. The expression on his face was not one of distraught, but one of fear; if he came home with this horrible news, he would surely not only be ex-communicated from the Temple of the Goddesses, but he might even get banished. No Nayrurian has had these troubles since te early ages, when it was considered a "burden". Tirado was lucky to slip be the first one, but he won't be the second time.

If only my cousin were here, she knows how to deal with these things. was one of the many thoughts bouncing around in Tirado's head. His frantic spinning wasn't good for his head, either, he started to feel nausiated. He felt as if he were passing out; reality was slipping away from him. When he finally closed his eyes out of exaustion and sleepiness, a glimpse of Zora's Domain flashed in his head. Then, an image of a running horse folowed. Along with the images, came a voice, serene and quiet, but filled with un-opened knowledge. It said, "Follow the wind-blown horse, and you will find the one you seek."

Tirado woke up, but instead of running around in circles as he did before, he dashed out of Hyrule Castle Town, enchanting an incantation; a prayer to the goddess; and said, Return. He was shot, only to be stopped short, and remembered that his master still hasn't declared full rights to him. Instead, as Tirado absorbed his surroundings, he found a stream with a horse running besides it. As Tirado approached, he noticed a seed next to the horse. He could also feel the energy he has been looking for, still lurking in the air. As Tirado flew around the horse, and patted its mane, he still wondered who it belonged to. He felt the energy again; his master was quite a while away. As suddenly as lightning falls from the sky, the horse crushed the seed it was next to, and shot across the land at an amazing speed. Tirado had no idea what was happening, everything went by so very fast.

Skull Kid walked to a part of the forest where the sound of his flute is louder. He began playing a song, a few seconds later he went to the entrance of Lost Woods, there he met a Kokiri. "Midu, I knew someone sent a messenger to here, is that true?"

Mido is the leader of the Kokiri, they became friends after Mido went into the Lost Woods and Skull Kid helped him to go out. He gave the mask that Skull Kid use to differentiate himself from his brothers. "Yes, but how do you know?" Mido said suspiciously.

"I know many things that happen in the forest and his village is within it." He replied, "Where is the messenger going to?"

"He goes to Zora's Domain." Mido said

"Ask for help, the forests are more dangerous, I can no longer get near the Forest Temple forest without being attacked." he asked

Mido was frightened, the Skull Kids never liked adults, and never saw other races. But still a Skull Kid asked for help from people who do not know. "I'll do that." He replied and went to the messenger, soon the messenger came back to Zora's Domain
