Here is a idea I've played with for a while but never really though doing until recently, this is also my first Roleplay that I think will prevail for a day.

[spoiler=Plot]

Demon King Ganon has broken free of his dimensional prison.

Aided by several other loyal servants he has layed low for a while but has began launching trickery onto the people of Hyrule. The Triforce of Wisdom and the Triforce of Courage have currently been shattered into three pieces that have been scattered among several parts in Hyrule. The various races are currently in chaos, panic strikes Hyrule, wars begin to break out due to Ganon's trickery. The are being seeked, as they are the only thing preventing Ganondorf from ruling Hyrule unconditionally.

The Goddess of the Triforce can do nothing else but begin to pour raindrop after raindrop from the sky eventually starting the Great Flood. It is the time for the people of Hyrule to defend themselves, without the united nations of the branches our Heros only chance is to either bow down or unite the races, pick your side.

[spoiler=Rules]

As I don't want this thread to be locked at least 4 lines per post.

[spoiler=Accepted]

[spoiler=Andx]

Name: Lorenz Vibbard

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Race: Zora

Physical Description: [spoiler=pic]

Height: 6 feet

Weight: 200 lbs

34gt63d.jpg

Personality: Lorenz goes against the grain in the case of usual Zora personality. Instead of being quiet and reserved Lorenz is passionate and outspoken. He has a strong sense of what he believes is right and wrong and has no issues speaking it. He definitely is not the fastest when it comes to opening up to people but once he makes a friend he is very loyal and protective. He's always looking for something exciting to do.

[spoiler=Biography:] Lorenz was born to an influential Zora family. His family had long had one of the advisors to the Zora king/queen as a member. Lorenz's father was one of the advisors. Lorenz, being the oldest son, was to take over his father's position however he saw no interest in that. Instead he decided he would join the military. He showed exceptional talent yet he rose in position faster than anyone should've been able to. He suspected it was his father's doing but he didn't know how to go about stopping it.

When Lorenz turned 17 it was reported that Ganon had broken free of his seal and was once again attacking Hyrule. Many things were thrown into disorder. Through a very complicated series of events it seemed the Zoras were going to side with Ganon. The Zora people as a whole became set on supporting a war effort against the Hylian people. Lorenz was one of few who hated the idea of going to fight the Hylians and let people know it. He left the military at age 18 when he was about to be promoted to general, no doubt due to his father.

Lorenz then left Zora's domain as he wanted nothing to do with the people he considered so foolish. He could only hope that the Zoran people would decide against the war but he never went back to check. He made his way to Hyrule Castle where he quickly informed the King of Hyrule know that the Zoras were considering war. The king thanked him for the information and in addition to preparing a defense for the land he allowed Lorenz to stay in the city.

For the next two years Lorenz lived in Hyrule castle town where he opened a small shop selling high quality weapons he made, a skill he picked up with relative ease while in the Zoran military. The whole time he kept up with his training in case there ever arose an opportunity to defend Hyrule or make an attack on Ganon. The townspeople, though it was very odd to see a Zora as Lorenz was the only one in the town, came to like Lorenz and enjoyed the artistic beauty of his work. Most people in the town know who he is.

Weapons: Lorenz's only object that could be considered clothing is a wristband on his right hand. The band has a large blue sapphire on it. This gem has a magical property that lets him form a weapon out of water in the atmosphere. His weapon takes the form of a spear in which he is very adept at using. He has very limited control of water, generally only being able to send out short range bursts of high pressure water to knock an enemy back. He is also able to form a shield in his left hand for defense.

Means of transport: Well he can walk but of course swimming is much faster. He does own a horse for the times he has to go out of town to make a delivery.

[spoiler=BlazingHydra 2]

Name: Lera

Gender: Female

Race: Zora

Physical Description: Like most Zora, Lera has a slender body covered in immaculately tiny blue scales. She has bright green eyes, an odd trait for Zora, and relatively small fins on her arms, though longer fins around her waist and leg area. She has a small amount of blond hair mingling with the usual hair-like tendrils employed by the Zora, implying she isn't entirely a purebred. Her feet are relatively small, though she has claws a bit larger than normal for a female.

Personality: Impish and strange, Lera is usually quiet and shy around other people, though very adventurous and brave when alone or doing things that do not involve other people. She has a large amount of wit and is quite snarky, though not quite confident enough to speak her sarcastic comments out loud (at least around other people). She is highly adventurous and hates being confined to a small space. After a while, she tends to let her emotions get the better o her (especially frustration) and do something incredibly stupid in hindsight.

Biography: One of the few Zora born outside of the village, her parents died of a peculiar illness when she was very young. The others of the village not knowing how to properly care for a Zora child, sent her to the Domain where she lived the majority of her life. The quiet and graceful life of a Zora not being particularly to her liking, she planned to later leave when she was old enough to go explore the world. Unfortunately, then Ganondorf broke out, and threw Hyrule into turmoil. Mentally arguing with herself whether to still go out and live her life in the risk of being killed, or staying at the Domain in her boring, enclosed life, she still doesn't know which is the right thing to do. A Boring, safe life, or an exciting dangerous one? She has no idea which to choose...

Weapons: A shortblade that appears to have an axeblade for a handle, which can be extended by smacking it against the ground soundly or twisting it while in water into a Halberd- a spearlike weapon that can also be used for swiping. Like most Zora Weapons, it is very lightweight and easy to handle, especially in water, but has enough weight to do serious damage if thrown.

Means of transport: a Grand-Tektite, a six-legged water hopper large enough to ride on. While they generally don't go under water, they can hop on practically any surface and are docile to pretty much anything they can't eat. The Grand-Tektite is strong enough to carry four others in addition to Lera.

Side: Herself.

[spoiler=BlazingHydra 3]

Name: Oak

Gender: Male

Race: Fairy

Physical Description: A red fairy. Up close, one can see he has long braided hair past his feet (though he is floating, so he does not trip), wears dark red robes and has a serious face with dark brown eyes. In his full-sized form, he is nearly the same, though he wears platesof black armor covering most of his robes, a dark red scarf across the lower part of his face, and has somewhat shorter hair. In this form, his wings are also translucent and made of pure red energy, when usually they are normal white fairy wings.

Personality: Honor bound and dutiful, Oak never lets his emotions get the better of him. He is very decisive, never hesitating even on things he is personally not sure of. He spends little time on questions or useless talk, and keeps to himself a lot. While he is naturally benign, the most important thing to him is his honor, which he will go to any length to defend. He knows that he may not always be right, but he knows that if he wishes to be loyal, he must do all of his master's wishes, despite what he may think of him.

Biography: A servant of Din, Oak is one of the God's chosen faries of equal importance to the Great Faries. Oak's duty was simple- defend the Tri-Force of power at any costs. While he failed in repelling Ganondorf long ago from stealing the power of Din's piece, he now finds himself in the Dark King's service, due to Din having granted her power to him. While he is bitter about his predicament, forced to help a madman who defies the gods in order to obey the gods, he nonetheless preforms his duties without complaint. As a Guardian Fairy, Oak has little of the healing powers of his brethren, but has vast magical abilities of fire and can assume the shape of a human for combat purposes.

Weapons: Oak uses a rapier imbued with Fairy Magic, though he can also use his own potent spell abilities. Oak can summon massive pillers of flame, release fireballs, create temporary shields of fire, and always covered his sword with a brand of flame that sprays outward like a flamethrower when slashing. His attacks all burn, and he can emit a massive ball of flame from his mouth in a pinch. The rapier's name is 'Redleaf'.

Means of transport: Oak can teleport himself short distances using Din's Magic, and use Fairy Rings scattered throughout the world for long distances.

Side: Oak is a server of the Triforce of Power and its holder, currently Ganondorf.

Biography: A Hylian who betrayed the other Hylians for power. He basically faded the day he left and joined Ganon, moving up in Ranks to just below him. He was always very quiet, as he was raised to be solemn and stoic. Supposedly, his childhood was a bad one, being beaten. The day he defected, he stole a sacred tome and the spell, Farore's Wind, granting him power and travel. There was a seal on the tome, so it is at less than a tenth of it's power. He also slaughtered any Hylian, Human, Zora, or whatever in his way.

[spoiler=LinkElfice510]

-Name: Tentari

-Age: 17

-Gender: Male

-Race: Minish/Kokiri Mix

-Physical Description: When he's Minish sized, 1.2 millimeters tall (pretty tall for a Minish). When he's Kokiri (or what we'd call normal) sized, about 5 foot, 9 inches tall. Short dark brown hair and bright green eyes with a somewhat long face and a rounded nose. His left arm has a mysterious birthmark that looks like two spiraling snakes in deep red and blue that goes from his wrist to the crease of his elbow, encompassing his entire forearm. His skin is a slightly tanned white, like someone who doesn't have a lot of sun exposure, but still has a slight tan. He wears a red pointed hat and a green robe, similar to that of the Forest Minish.

-Personality: Because of his parents, he was branded by the Minish as an unclean. As a result, he is very secretive about his feelings, although he yearns for someone to put trust in him, and whenever someone does, he makes sure he gets whatever needs to be done right. He's very loyal to anyone who needs him and whenever he makes a mistake, even if it wasn't his fault, he greatly berates himself.

-Biography: Offspring of a forbidden love affair between a Minish woman and a Kokiri man, Tentari has the special ability to change his size at will - his mother was a descendant of Ezlo, which is why he has this power. When he was born, his mother was executed by the village council, and his father vanished shortly after his mother got pregnant. The only reason he was allowed to live is because he bore The Mark of the Snakes, the sign of a Minish with a special power, his being the ability to change size at will. He was trained to fight by the greatest of Minish warriors so that he would be able to use his power to help stop the Demon King. His weapon, Librari's Sword, was sent to him 2 weeks before he left to fight. With the elder's blessing, Tentari set out to team up with anyone who wants to bring down Ganon.

-Weapon of Choice: Librari's Sword. The sword used by Elder Librari when he was in his adventuring days and a gift to Tentari as a good luck message from all of the City Minish. It allows the holder to see into the minds of whoever it kills.

-Steed: When he's Minish sized, he controls a ladybug. When he's normal sized, he rides a horse who can speak to his mind.

-Side: Hyrule

I come to support you in this effort Proto! I'm interested in seeing where this will go. Just so you know I added age to my app. Hope you don't mind if I post my unfinished app now.

Mind if I apply a couple characters? I like to play multiple sides.

Name: Ale (Pronounced Ah-Lea)

Gender: Male

Race: Hylian

Physical Description: Fairly tall, thin man with thick black hair down almost to his shoulders. He has bright blue eyes, hollow cheekbones, a thin bodytype with stringy, underplayed muscles. Fairly soft, seems to have little endurance as result of a high-class lifestyle. Almost six foot in height, though stands up straighter in order to give the impression of tallness. Generally wears expensive-seeming leather armor with silk beneath, and a lightly armored trailing cap in the style of the Kokiri Children. Keeps a bejeweled scabbard at the side of his belt at all times.

Personality: Heroic and in control, Ale attempts to project the best physical image of a hero as possible. He always has time for people to speak to him, though he always has places to go. He looks only for upside in life, and when it comes down to things, can always be counted on to be decisive and make the tough decisions. This, however, is just a mask; beneath it all is an emotional, quite fragile Hylian used to the Royal's Life who is frankly terrified at the state of affairs, himself, and everything between the two. He constantly doubts himself and would rather never fight again as soon as pick up his blade.

Biography: Son of one of the Hylian Knights, Ale was always used to life as a noble. When Ganondorf broke his dimensional bonds, Ale's father was one of the first to fight the demonic king, but was brutally murdered in the process. Wracked with grief and anxiety, Ale retreated to his father's old story books, and discovered the old tales of heroes and villains, including stories pertaining to Ganondorf's first reign. Intoxicated by the idea of the Hero of Time, Ale prayed feverishly that the hero would come once again to save them all, but as Ganondorf operated unhindered and the relations between the different races began to falter, Ale began to fret that a hero would not appear. When his suspicions were confirmed, the worst of it happened- Hyrule Castle was stormed by a group of citizens, desperate and looking for someone to scapegoat for their troubles. Releasing the castle itself wasn't safe enough, Ale decided that if the Hero of Time wouldn't appear, Ale would have to take his place... for the time being. He decided then and there, that until the Hero of Time came himself, he would fight for him... and try to bring him out of hiding.

Weapons: Goldnail, a longblade held once before by Ale's father. A magical blade, it carries a variety of small enchantments and abilities as it was passed down through the ages. A Zora Enchantment purifies whatever water it's blade touches until it is safe to drink. A Goron Enchantment makes it sturdy and unmeltable, conducting no heat even when dropped in lava. And finally, a Fairy Enchantment gives it is greatest ability; Goldnail increases the endurance of any who wears it, making it impossible for them to be rendered unconscious. They may still die, but they will not black out until a fatal blow has been rendered. Holding Goldnail also slightly increases regeneration from wounds, though it is not much help against things bigger than scratches or small scars. Like all Hylian Knight blades, Goldnail is also strong against Black Magic-born or possessed creatures, similar to what Ganondorf used previously. This enchantment is said to be an attempted copy at the abilities of the legendary Master Sword.

Means of transport: A tamed giant Kargaroc named Romeo. Romeo can carry only one person effectively and fly for long distances, but not to high altitudes. He is very fickle and refuses to carry anyone who isn't Ale, and especially anyone not a Hylian.

Side: Hyrule Royalty officially, however his real allegiance lies with anyone who keeps with the Legend of the Hero of Time or opposes Ganondorf.

OOC: Then I'll start

IC:Skull Kid was walking the Lost Woods playing his flute. He reached a small village inside the forest, home to all the Skull Kids. He was the protector of the village, so he did not have much time to rest. He knew it was almost impossible, but he believed that one day someone would come to help him destroy the source of darkness, this darkness was making the monsters appear and making the forest to die slowly, the Great Deku Tree could not do anything against that darkness. He needed help to defeat the power of darkness, but the Skull Kids were great warriors.

Name: Nero Yalis

Gender: Male

Race: Hylian

Physical Description: Nero is a tall man with wide shoulders and well-toned muscles. He wears a dirty-white tunic with tan slacks and a goron-brown muffler which covers much of his face and comes down his back as a long cape. He has dark brown hair that is styled so that in combination with his muffler, the only part of his face which is shown is his left eye, which is black.

Personality: Nero's personality could be summed up in one word: Quiet. He almost never speaks, keeping to himself almost entirely, the only times he speaks are when he feels it is nessecary, or when someone deliberatly asks for his opinion. He has been trained his whole life to fight, and has gained a taste for it, usually being happiest in the midst of battle. Outside of fighting, his favorite pasttime is sleeping, which he seems to have down to an art, seemingly being able to sleep at anytime, no matter what, where, when, why, or how. Aside from sleeping, his only other hobby seems to be hitting on women, though his skill in this is far less advanced. Supposedly the reason he has his hair over most of his face is to cover-up a permanent red hand-shaped mark. Despite this, he never seems to stop or lose confidence.

Biography: Born into a family of mercenaries, Nero was trained to fight since the day he could walk. As part of a family tradition he set out into the world when he became of age to strike it out on his own as a mercenary. Over the years he's gained a strong reputation. Among mercenaries he is commonly called a 'monster' due to his large size and choice of weapon and fighting style. Among women however, he is commonly called a lecher. He wields a BigGoron's Sword supposedly gained it as a gift after helping the Goron Tribe when their hot springs stopped flowing due to a blockage a few years ago.

Weapons: BigGoron's Sword, Crossbow

Means of transport: Horse

Side: Whoever Pays Him the Most (Himself Normally, unless hired)

Name: Marian

Gender: Female

Race: Zora

Physical Description: Marian has a slender body covered in dark turquise scales. She has large, sharp fins along her arms and shorter fins around her waist that give the appearence of something of a mini-skirt. Her head has a single long fin extending from it's back that appears like a pony-tail. She has silver eyes, though one appears tinted red and the other tinted green. She usually wears a dark blue cloak around her body.

Personality: She act pessemistic often, though she has a brighter side, but she sinks into minor depressions easily. When not depressed she is something of a girly girl, though her attitude changes into it's pessmistic state at the slightest bad news. If she gets upset enough though her personality hardens up into a state which could only be called that of a 'military-brat'.

Biography: Marian's mother died giving birth to her, leaving her to be raised by her father, a man of the Zoran Military. Being brought up by him is what caused her rather seperate personality. Alone, she would be pessmistic, with others a girly girl, and with her father a perfect military daughter. After the rise of Ganondorf, her father was killed in a battle. After getting over one of her most serious attacks of pessmism, she resolved to join the Hyrulian Military and fight against Ganondorf, both to avenge her father, and fulfil the military child side of her personality.

Weapons: Her sharp Zoran Arm Fins, and a small dagger she keeps around her waist.

Means of transport: Swimming mainly. Walking between water sources. If water is unavaible, she'll hitch a ride with someone.

Side: Hyrule Royalty

ooc: Guess I'll make an intro post.

IC:

As the sun rose Lorenz awoke from a dreamless sleep. He got up and headed out the door. It was inconvenient that his shop was on the other side of town but he had no other choice. He gave greetings to the various townspeople, all of which at least recognized him and many still were hardly used to seeing a Zora walking about town. Lorenz walked into his modest little store. The walls were lined with the various wares, hand crafted weapons in this case. As he walked in he was greeted by Amy, a young woman who was a secretary of sorts. She worked the front desk and kept track of orders. Lorenz casually greeted her and began a simple conversation. No new orders and some of the Hylian soldiers were going to stop by sometime in the day.

"Sounds like and easy day to me." was all he could say in response.

Something was wrong, made 3 days since the last attack of monsters, but the darkness did its work. The forest was dying quickly, but the big monster that lurks deep in the woods can not come to destroy the Great Deku Tree, if not rid of the Skull Kids who live in the Lost Woods. Their music made the trees reborn. The Stalfos were unable to get rid of the guardian of the Skull Kids, then 2 new soldiers were called. The Wolfos, beings who live in the forest. They protected the Forest Temple, but as no one goes there, nobody know if they were there.

Alone in the forest, Skull Kid knew he would soon be the target of new attacks, maybe not now, but he knew that soon they would attack with full force.

Jab! Thrust! Riposte! Tear! Rend! Spin and... Decimate!

Ale panted as the tip of his golden blade, Goldnail, dropped to the floor from his limp grip. Sweat dripped from his limp hair, as he grabbed a cloth from a nearby servant in order to wipe it off.

"Good training today, sir?" one of them asked politely. Ale gave him a small smile and nod, and the man scampered off; They could tell when he wasn't really in the mood for conversation.

He slipped Goldnail into its sheath, making a loud scraping sound as he did. He knew he should probably oil the blade to keep his sweat from damaging the edge, but he figured he could do that later.

He sighed as he stood up, rubbing his tired muscles. He had been training for hours. Three, to be exact. Three hours of training, each day, from sunrise to midday, with only a light breakfast to begin with. At first, he had thought he was such a martyr, going through such a painful regiment... but now he knew better.

he sighed. He wasn't worhty to lick a real hero's boots, he knew, but he figured if there was any way that keeping in shape could possibly help him, he'd take it.

Guest Tainted Black

Billos sat on a mountain, looking out at everything. Farore's Wind was certainly useful to have. He thought He used his spell, and he returned to whence he came.

Hey, Proto. I wanted to ask you about this via PM, but you weren't online, so... While I know that the Gerudo are generally associated with Ganondorf, it would be interesting to have a scenario in which this wasn't always the case. Say, perhaps, the Gerudo were to divide into two opposing tribes...

===

Name: Erzet ("Er" rhymes with "there" and "zet" rhymes with "pet". Err-zet.)

Also known among his people as the "Prince of Thieves".

Gender: Male

Race: Hylian [Gerudo by adoption]

Age: 20

[spoiler=Physical Description & Personality]

[spoiler=Picture Basis, just with darker hair and skin.]

avvy.png

Height: 5"11.

Weight: 155 lbs.

Figure: Slender, well-built.

Hair Color: Dark brown.

Hair Style: Straight-haired, with long, artful bangs.

Eye Color: Dark green.

Complexion: Firmly tanned, but not as dark as the other Gerudo.

Clothing: Erzet favors the traditional garb of his adoptive tribe, the Clan of Gerudo Thieves. He is most often seen wearing a short-sleeved dark green cloth shirt along with customary baggy pants, although he wears them much less loosely than others. Over these pants, he wears a pair of sturdy and lightweight black boots. In addition, Erzet wears two gray cloth armguards, reaching to just below his elbows, and a gray scarf wrapped around his neck—emblazoned with the mark of the Gerudo in white—to protect him from the arid temperature and fierce sun of the desert.

[spoiler=Gerudo Symbol]

Gerudosymbol.png

Personality: Usually cool-headed and confident, although he conceals a fiery temper that often flares up when he is upset or in battle. He tends to be slightly mysterious and conceal things from others, if unintentionally. Rather selfish and stubborn, but honest. He has a rather low tolerance for foolishness or naïveté in others. Erzet often speaks using strange references to his adoptive home, the Gerudo Desert. For a thief, he is generally well-meaning and tries to avoid killing unless absolutely necessary, but he's not very trustworthy to outsiders, since he always tends to place the interests of his Clan first. He also has a slight fascination with rubies and other red-colored gems.

[spoiler=Biography]

Biography: Originally of noble Hylian birth from one of the Royal Family's lower ranking houses, Erzet was extremely young when the entourage consisting of his parents and several armed guards was waylaid on a journey by a wandering pack of Moldorm bordering the haunted and barren Gerudo Wastes. Although the guards and Erzet's father fought bravely, they were unable to deal with the fierce attacks of these creatures in their natural element. One by one, the men were slain, while Erzet's mother clasped her son to her arms and stumbled blindly away into the desert, where the Moldorms soon followed. While her attempts to protect her son were brave, she was unarmed and died quickly. At that moment, a patrolling Gerudo of high rank, named Nadere, spotted the child and managed to repel the Moldorm pack single-handedly.

Although raising children of foreign descent was generally frowned upon among the Clan of Thieves—especially if they were male—Nadere was able to convince her superiors that the child was no threat. Naming him Erzet, meaning "desert wind", Nadere raised and trained the boy as another member of the Clan of Thieves, where he quickly forgot any remnants of his past life and family. The only reminders were the lighter tone of skin and brown hair he possessed, but these were largely disregarded.

Since she was unable to bear children after a severe miscarriage years before, Nadere soon adopted Erzet after he proved himself a promising and resourceful individual, fully initiating him into Gerudo life despite his outlander origins. Due to Nadere's high ranking among the Gerudo and his own talent as a thief, Erzet soon gained the name "Prince of Thieves" among his people. At the age of sixteen, like all Gerudo Thieves, Erzet began to venture past the borders of the Wastes in search for treasure to steal with great success. He is also one of the few Gerudo who can cross the Haunted Wasteland without injury—for this reason, he possesses a strong affinity for the ruins of the Spirit Temple, dedicated to the patron deity of the Gerudo, the Goddess of the Sand.

[spoiler=Weaponry, MoT & Alliance]

Weaponry & Attack Style: Like the majority of the Clan of Thieves, Erzet wields a pair of steel scimitars, fashioned within the confines of the Gerudo Fortress, which he uses with incredible precision and skill, favoring a clean, graceful, and acrobatic attack style. In addition, he also carries a small dagger for emergency use. As one of the many exercises needed in order to become a successful Gerudo Thief, Erzet underwent severe training for many years in order to maximize his acrobatic ability. Displaying remarkable aptitude in this respect, Erzet is easily capable of any number of flips, cartwheels, and back-hand springs, as well as possessing an excellent sense of balance.

Means of Transport: As a present from his adoptive mother, Nadere, Erzet received a Gerudo horse at the age of sixteen, bred for the harsh terrain of the desert and possessing the incredible resilience for which they are famed. He quickly named the horse Casban, and is quite fond of him, being an able rider.

Alliance: Erzet is allied strictly with the Gerudo, and maintains their interest in hoarding treasure and power. Ganon's return from his dimensional prison has thrown the Clan of Thieves into great chaos and disunity—many of them are uncertain whether to pledge their allegiance to him, and already they show signs of splitting into two groups. Despite this, Erzet holds no love for the famed "King of Evil"—in his opinion, Ganon grew exceedingly avaricious and hungry for power, characteristics which any good thief would manage to avoid. Apart from this, he deems it unlikely that the King of Evil would tolerate the few Gerudo males that have sprung up among the Clan of Thieves in his absence.
