Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie RP: Reign of Paradox [Advanced][PG-16][Started][Accepting via PM]

Carly frowned. She was just being friendly. Hurt, she said, "I am....CArly. I know nothing about PAradox's plans, and C3 is an organization designed to protect the very things Paradox plans to destroy. I don't know the whole deal, I'm just here to do as I'm told. But today...The Kaiba building drew me near it; it has a certain feeling to me that something might happen. So don't ask me questions about C3 or Paradox!"

"...W-what?" Carly looked around. The kid wasn't there! Maybe she blanked out and he ran away...Probably. She didn't care, for he was just another duelist. But a duelist that might help her improve. She was bored, so she sat down again. The feeling of the Kaiba Building seemed to have eased down, so maybe dueling that boy was part of it. Yeah...

Paradox looked over at Itsu and shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me. They'll all fail in the long run." he said in a stern tone' date=' looking back over at Leif's impressive field presence. He rose his hand up and flicked his fingers, giving off a "Come on." feel to his gesture, prepared for just about anything Leif would throw at him... or was it a bluff?

[/quote']

"Very well." Leif smirked. "Zakra, attack Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" he commanded, as the reaper tossed flaming sickles towards the tornado-imprisoned dragon. The blade phased through the dragon's chest, causing no visible damage but also causing it to cry out in pain all the same.

"Zakra can't kill monsters." Leif said, with a shrug. "Which makes the name Reaper fairly ironic. However, he CAN reap your Battle Phases away from you... whenever he damages your Life Points. Like I believe he just about did."

Leif smirked. "Not so fast there. Deya and my Ambassador still get an attack. Have at it." he said, waving his hand. Deya spun and tossed one of her sickles in a miniature tornado. Like Zakra's blades, her own phased through the dragon, though it did cause him to cry out in pain. Reaper's Ambassador simply gestured with an invisible hand, his scythe raising and cutting across the Sin Monster's body, causing him to groan and double over; However, he still stayed standing.

"That's it for this turn." Leif said nonchalantly. Immediately, Zakra was consumed in a glowing light, which turned into a beacon that collided with the top of his Deck. Leif glanced out to explain, "At the end of a turn I Normal Summon any Reaper, they return to the top of my deck. Deya stays because I Special Summoned her from the grave. The Boatman and Grim stay because they technically aren't Reapers. Zarkus, your go."

Sin Blue Eyes gave a howl as the tornado around it dissipated and released the creature and its attack points (3000/2500).

OOC: Thank you, Shadius.

Jaden was almost red from the loss of his newest hero.

"...That was low, Itsu! Really low!" He scowled as he placed the card in his graveyard. He thn pointed at Itsu, and put his head down, his hair slumping with it (not to mention seemingly turning darker). "...Your turn."

The Sky began changing black, and a storm was coming.

Zarkus smiled, as he picked up the next card from his deck. He looked at Paradox's field, who still had a single Trap card left, forcing Zarkus to be wary no matter what. The Jester on the far right of the field vanished, being replaced by an imposing golem with one dark red eye. "I tribute my Dark Soul Jester to bring forth my Dark Soul Golem!" he said, as the golem let out a mighty battle cry. At that moment, a macabre being reminiscent of a skeleton with wings appeared on the right side of his field. "If I control a Dark Soul monster, I can Special Summon Dark Soul from my hand! Now, Synchro! I tune my Dark Soul, and Dark Soul Golem to my Dark Jester!" Zarkus's monsters vanished, as a dark cloud descended on the playing field. Dark crimson lightning surrounded Zarkus, and tremors formed around his body.

"Flames of hell, come forth. Through personal sacrifice an almighty power will be released. Awaken, God of Self Sacrifice, Dark Soul Chaos King!"

The mighty king descended from the sky, wings fully extending outwards, with an incredible dark aura surrounding him. When he touched the ground, it cracked from the sheer energy he exerted. Zarkus's field Spell card zone opened, and he slammed a card in as Paradox's field spell card cracked, and a dark circle formed under Zarkus that surrounded the entire arena. "Activate field spell card, Seal of the Dark Oracle." he said, his body giving off a crimson aura to it. Chaos King and Jester both let off a grin as their attack points increased by 1000 points, and their purple lightning changed color to that of crimson. Paradox let off a slight grin under his mask, his face-down card still under him. It didn't matter to him what Zarkus did; he had something planned. He once again rose his hand, and flicked his finger, signaling Zarkus to go ahead with the attack, and tempting him to. Zarkus, however, was not fooled. He knew better then to battle without preparation.

"And now..." he said, as several dark orbs came out of Zarkus's duel disk, and Jester turned into a dark orb. All of the orbs surrounded Chaos King, who rose up into the sky, and let out a mighty roar as the orbs merged with his body. His body slowly started morphing into that of a dead dragon skeleton. The skeleton animated itself, and it rose up, flapping its wings, and letting off a dark miasma around its whole body. "I remove from play Dark Soul Chaos King, my three Jesters, and Golem to bring forth the trump card of my deck. Awaken, Dark Soul - Berserker End Dragon. While he's on the field, I can negate any card effect at the cost of one card in my hand." he said, as the dragon opened up his mouth and started charging a dark ball of energy. (ATK: 6000) "Dark Soul - Berserker End Dragon! Attack Sin Stardust Dragon now! Miasma of Martyrdom!" he declared, as the dragon shot a truly massive ball of energy at Sin Stardust, completely obliterating it. The ball of energy shot right towards Paradox, hitting him head on, and exploding, knocking him to the ground. (LP: 700)

A small crack in Paradox's mask formed, and his body had burn marks all over it. "That's all for now." Zarkus said, his face-down still on the field, and his mighty dragon staring straight down at Paradox, prepared to strike the final blow if necessary next turn. Paradox remained strong, and slowly stood back up, letting off a truly evil laugh that could strike fear into the hearts of any man.

Sigma gave an unintentional shiver from Paradox's laugh. 'I don't like that Zarkus, you don't laugh like that and expect them to hand you cookies' she remarked, then it clicked. 'Wait, I thought we sealed away the Dark Oracle after their power evaporated' she realized, a glare forming across her face. 'You forged my password, didn't you you bastard' she shouted angrily, waving a fist at Zarkus. 'Once this duel is over, we're sealing them back away' she ordered, but was still anticipating the end of the duel.

Zarkus rubbed his head a bit and smiled. "Sorry, Sigma." he said, then looking back over at Paradox as his expression suddenly changed to a more serious one. "I figured this would be a special occasion."

Paradox placed his hand on his deck, as a dark fire surrounded his hand. "Its my turn." he said, smiling under his broken mask, knowing full well what he would draw. "Draw!" Paradox let out an even more depraved grin under his mask as a flash of dark lightning shot down behind him. His mask started cracking, and shattered completely, revealing his face under it, a completely depraved and insane grin showing on his face. Several cards came out of his main deck: Blue Eyes White Dragon, Red Eyes Black Dragon, Rainbow Dragon, Cyber End Dragon, and Stardust Dragon. They essentially formed a five pointed star around his body, and light shot through them, completely solidifying the star. "I activate Original Sin." he said, as a serpent appeared in front of Berserker End Dragon, and two cards in Paradox's hand vanished. The serpent dashed forward, biting the Dragon on the neck, as dark armor surrounded its body, and it switched to Zarkus's side of the field. Zarkus smiled, as he had a face-down card on his side of the field, prepared to counter anything. However, it didn't matter, as Paradox's face-down card opened. "I activate Final Judgment - Paradise Lost. Its over, Zarkus and Leif."

The five pointed star started glowing, and a black flame formed in it that eventually shot out, heading straight towards Zarkus. "Face down card activate!" he said, the card he activated quickly vanishing. "Wh-what?" Zarkus said in shock, as the black flame enveloped his entire body and field, destroying every single one of his cards and shattering the Seal of the Dark Oracle. His player character started cracking.

The systems of the virtual world started shutting down, and the data was quickly starting to be deleted. The real world was also showing noticeable side-effects, black clouds lingering in the sky, dark lightning shooting down and destroying several buildings. Paradox let out an insane laugh, as the black fire headed straight towards Leif as well, preparing to finish off his final opponent and destroy yet another universe in the process...

Sigma watched in horror as the area surrounding her began to crack. 'NO' she cried. 'Not again, I had taken so much time to repair it' she declared. A console appeared and several vid windows, flashing with warning lights. 'Damnit damnit damnit, by the time I can create balance, the virtual world will be able to fit inside a two gig USB stick' she muttered as commands were being punched in.

((I have a cold, and I was checked out of school by my stepfather, but I'm "resting" by getting on here.))

Itsu drew, and grinned.

"I play Dark Fascimile!"

2dwhx5v.jpg

The area around the duel morphed into a strange, Salvador Dali-esque version of the top of the KaibaCorp building.

"Normally, Sin monsters have a few negative effects, such as being the only monster that can attack, only having one on the field at a time, and being destoryed when a Field Spell Card is not on the field, but Dark Facsimile negates most of those effects!"

"Now, I activate my Dark Fascimile's effect, allowing me to add a 'Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragon' to my hand!"

"Next, I will send three Blue-Eyes White Dragons to my Graveyard to Special Summon three Sin Blue-Eyes White Dragons from my hand!"

Three armored versions of the classic card appeared on Itsu's field.

"Now, who should I attack first?"

((What's on Damian's, Jaden's, and Michael's field?))

OOC: is there anything Crystal can do at all atm? She's just standing around doing nothing...

Crystal was still wondering what that flash of magenta had been. There was no way it could have been an animal; since when was it so vibrant in pink? No, it had looked more like a train for a dress ... But what kind of a person wears a dress with a train? Crystal found herself wondering just as her phone rang. She picked it up, and was relieved to see AJ was calling. Immediately she took the call.
