Yu-Gi-Oh World Tour-nament [Advanced] [Started/Not Accepting]

Charles was on the phone near the doors to the hotel. He'd sorted his room out already - having arrived a day early to know his way around and his oddities confusing the hotel staff to no end. "Yes Samantha, I'm here. We've been here for a day now, but that was early. I'm sorry I haven't called but we wanted to see the town, no matter how much I objected and said you'd complain. Yes, yes, I'll remember the tournament. I have enough reminders from me already. Even if you think it's all about cards, and so do we, I have other priorities. Seeing the sites like I said. Either way, hopefully I'll win so that we can bring the group back together - It would be a great life again, we'll be looking forward to it. Remember to put on a good show in whatever you do. Goodbye."

He slipped his phone into one of his heavy trench coat's many pockets and went to sit at the bar, ordering a tall glass of mineral water to drink slowly as he pondered the next couple days. "I'll have to be sure to put on a good performance for us, we'll be disappointed if I just play it in my usual manner, won't you?" he asked the air. A few seconds later he returned to drinking his water at a snail's pace, satisfied with the answer.

Kira had been searching his pocket but looked to his side at April, "im ....here for the Tour-nament as well, I just hope I can do well in it, I havent gone against top duelists before". He took out the key from his pocket looking at the number of the key, it had the number 7 on it, "My number is 7, my lucky number" he said out and then put the key back in his pocket. "There it is", taking out a chain that he had been looking for and placed it around his neck.

"Wonder what the commotion's all about?" Vyse said. He entered the lobby, but was run over by other people. He slowly walked up the stairs. "Oh, forgot...oops!" he said to himself. He went to the floor in the lobby, and patiently waited. His deck shined in the light, and his duel disk was still on his left arm. Vyse was ready for almost everything that came his way. He was not going to accept any duels, only challenge the people he wanted to duel. Unless, of course, that was against the rules.

Kurai went to the reception counter and got his key. Then he went to the lift and went inside. "Looks like I'm on floor 4." Kurai pressed the number four button and went to the floor. Kurai found his room and put the key in. When he went inside, Felgrand Dragon appeared and growled. "Its ok Felgrand. Just relax for a bit." Kurai sat down on the bed preparing his deck for the tournament.

Vyse grabbed his ticket. It read "Room 142." "Wow, 1st floor? What luck! I love the ground floors. Plus, I'll get out easier when there's an emergency." He got his key and went to his room.

He then heard a strange voice trying to talk to him. "Wow, quite a beauty!" "Who said that!" asked Vyse. "Oh, I guess I should introduce myself...I'm your Sapphire Pegasus Card!" Vyse looked around. He saw nothing. Then, the Pegasus appeared in front of him. "How!" asked Vyse, confused. "That must mean you're a..." "Duel Spirit?" Sapphire Pegasus interrupted. "Yes, actually I am." Vyse grabbed his key, locked the door, and slammed it shut.

"How did you..., when did I..." were asked frequently within the long conversation. The Pegasus mentioned everything about Duel Spirits, while Vyse listened closely. After a long conversation, Vyse unlocked the door and stayed in his room. He made a sign that said, "Do not ask me for a duel, I will say no. Only I shall choose my opponents." He hung it up, and lay down on his bed, thinking.

Kris nodded at the two people on the fourth floor. He also was on the fourth floor but wouldn't tell them that. He decided to go to the fifth floor and walk down to the floor. He pressed the fourth and fifth buttons and waited for it to stop. "I'm Kris." He said, almost grumbling. "Do not challenge me to a duel I shall decide who I duel." He stopped as that was probably the longest sentence he had said outside of a duel for about a year.

"Might as well get outside and explore around the hotel." Kurai got up his bed, put his duel disk on and insert his deck in. Then he went out of the room and went to the first floor. He walked around to see a note. " 'Do not ask me for a duel, I'll say no.' What an interesting person." Kurai read the rest of the note before heading for the roof.

ooc: im on the 1st floor, not 5th.

ic: Vyse locked his door again and went to sleep. When he awoke, he unlocked his door and then his Pegasus talked to him. "Did you have a nice sleep?" he asked. "Yep, fine." replied Vyse. They had a nice, lengthy conversation, and when it ended, Vyse grabbed his deck and his duel disk and walked out to the forest again to play with the animals, like a child would.

Kris watched as the other two from the elevator got out. He nodded a 'see ya' and waited for it to stop on the fifth floor. When it arrived he stepped out the door and admired the corridor. It was decorated very well and it looked expensive. Maybe not world famous but very rich. He thought to himself. One of the only times he ever 'talked' for a long period of time. He walked to the staircase next to the elevator and walked down the stairs. He walked out of the stairs to find the corridor looking exactly the same as the one above. He was releived to see that it was empty and he walked to his room. Room 415 was on his key. The door next to the boy in the lift. "Well, atleast he's quiet." Kris sighed as he entered the room.

In the moment Kaitou entered the lobby he felt a plesant wind. The atmosphere inside

was better than the hot weather outside. In the lobby were a lot of People standing around.

"Oh man, why do I have accepted this invitation. I just bring this behind me as fast as possible." he said.

The queue in front of the counter was very long but after a few minutes he got his Key. "Number 420, fourth floor seems like I have to take the Lift" he thought. After a few minutes and an very boring ride with the Lift he reached his Room.

In the near was a lot of loud sounds from other new guests. He unlock the Door and found him self in an nicely decorated Room. "A little bit to Glamouros for my tast but just the best for the best". It was a very long day and he has a long voyage behind him so he decided to sleep a while and waited what will happen next.

OOC: You guys have had enough playing, time to advance.

Within every room was a small electronic photo frame. After a few moments, a video began to play. It featured Zakrias. 'Welcome one and all duelists, I trust you have been enjoying your rooms no? Anywho, we will all be meeting on the roof to discuss the tour-nament. The meeting will take place at three o'clock sharpish, the current time is five to three, so you have five minutes to get to the roof' Zakrias replayed.

"Sharpish? What an odd word."

Marcos figured that he couldn't waste enough time sleeping. He left his room, obviously snapping on hsi Duel Disk, and entered the elevator, noticing that someone else was there as well. He saw the Duel Disk and, in an attempt to ease the atmosphere, asked them, "You're in the tournament too?"

Kris groaned as the announcement was relayed. He was just about to drift of to sleep after going about 30 hours without a nap. He stood up and slumped of to thebathroom. He looked in the mirror to find a bags under his eyes. The most obvious sign of sleep deprivation. He rubbed his eyes and went over to the fridge. He looked inside. Stocked full as was expected. He took out a carton of milk and emptyed it in one gulp. He then pulled out a sandwich and looked at the time. 2:55. Better gt going. He thought as he bit into the sandwich. He stepped out into the corridor to find the first few people already making their way to the roof.

Kaitou suddenly woke up as he heard a voice from the other side of the room. There was a monitor with an guy in black he told him that all members of the tournament shall meet in the roof in five minutes. He graped his Duell-Disk,his Deck and a Coke from the fridge and moved to the lift. A few other people with Duell-Disks stand in front of the lift. "Seems to be my Opponents. No big deal." he thought. Suddenly the lift arrived, Kaitou and the other duelists entered the lift and one of them pushed the button to the first floor where the roof was.

OOC: Magnet, Brokenheart skipped time to 2:55. Bahamut, the meeting's on the roof, not the lobby.

IC: Marcos was on the roof quick, as surprising as it was to him. His watch said 2:57, and he admitted to himself that the elevators moved extremely fast. It was a breezy afternoon, and the sun was mildly bright. The cold had that sort of nip that was exhilarating without freezing yourself. Marcos was almost calm up here, and his mind began to ease...

Kris was there by 2:56. He had taken the stairs for two reasons. Number one was that the queue for the lift went up to his door and two was that he didn't do well wwith crowds. On the roof he noticed the nervous boy get up from the lift just a minute after Kris had got up. Kris noticed eyes staring at him. He didn't know why. Probably my pale skin. People do say I look rather like a vampire. Kris decided. He at the rest of his sandwich now and got out a digestive biscuit out of his pocket.

Charles had not heard the announcement. Through his own type of luck, however, he had already decided to go to the roof. Up there twenty minutes early by chance of right place, right time, he'd been writing notes on small bits of paper, folding them up, and throwing the paper airplanes down to land somewhere in town, delivering their secrets to the world.

When people began to arrive, he just stopped and watched them from his not-very-noticeable corner. Carefully fumbling his coat pockets to produce a small trinket, which when opened up showed a compass and a mirror, and he began to tinker with it while talking to himself, carefully re-adjusting the arrow and brushing a soft silken cloth over the shining surface of the mirror.
