2nd Depression

I've heard from several sources recently that conditions are starting to compare to those before the great depression in the 20s, and that the bush administration is taking power away from the precautions Roosevelt made to insure this sort of thing couldn't happen again.

Also, another thing to think about; Roosevelt helped out a lot in the 20s, but overall his actions didn't pull us out of the Depression. The sole event that can be attributed to our escape from the Depression is WWII.

ok well for one thing we are in a recession right, not a depression, were not any where close to a depression, but since the baby boomers are getting ready to check out, we will be having a lot of trouble! and no president could solely stop the effects of the great depression, so you cant put any blame on roosevelt or bush, even thought i despise BUSH!
