Guest TheFinalFan
Hello, I'm YRPOtaku169, and I'm looking for the perfect Paradox for my currently untitled Yu-Gi-Oh! Movie Roleplay, or "RP".So, since this is Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD MAKER, I am going to gauge how well the contestants are in four categories: 1. Card-Making/Understanding of the Sin archetype (Done!)2. Role-Playing Ability (In Progress...)3. Role-Playing Compatability4. Evilness The first round will be a card-making contest where you make a Sin version of either a real-life monster or a monster on YCM. Points will be awarded for non-OPedness, OCG, and likeness to the original. Cards may be created or written. You must submit your cards via PM.The second round will be the introduction to your character: Paradox. I just need at least 1 Paragraph of you playing Paradox. Then, I will play Itsu Solace, Paradox's evil accomplice for this RP, and you will have to respond to the best of your ability, because you will have to put up with a lot of her (my) crap in this RP.Finally, we will see how evil you can be by a "Yo Mama"-style evil fight, boasting about how evil you can be. Of course, you must be able to do what you claim in real life, so if you say it, you must be willing to do it in reality. The application is simple:[spoiler=Contest App:]Username:Total RPs involved in:Reason(s) why you should be Paradox: First Place gets 3 reps and the offer to play Paradox.Second Place gets 2 reps and the offer to have one of their characters be one of Paradox's lieutenants, while Third Place (a.k.a. Honorable Mention), gets a rep and the chance to play Yugi Moto in the Movie RP.All contestants may participate in the upcoming Movie RP regardless of your success in this contest. So get cracking! Contestants:[spoiler=1. PMK]Username: ProtoMachineKing (Otherwise known as the Terminator).Total RPs involved in: Uhh...... Return of Yliaster, Digimon: Rise of the Demon Lords, Yu-Gi-Oh!: Gattai, and countless others, those are just off the top of my head.Reason(s) why you should be Paradox: I've almost always played a antagonist, I'm used to your and Ace's style of roleplaying and I think I can adapt well with his playing style, also because I like you guys. [spoiler=2. Zarkus]Username: Nightmare ZarkusTotal RPs involved in: ...A lot.No really.Reason(s) why you should be Paradox: Because I happen to consider myself a good RPer and can devote the time to being a villian. If I do get accepted, then this will probably be my last RP, however. [spoiler=3. BH]Username: BlazinghydraTotal RPs involved in: At the moment, three or so. In total... suffice to say a large number.Reason(s) why you should be Paradox: My roleplaying skills come heavily recommended from various sources. I'm no greenhorn to playing villains, and figure I'm rather good at getting my message across poignantly and dramatically. My style is familiar to most people theoretically involved in, and descriptive enough to add an element of drama to any particular post. [spoiler=4. Dresden]Username: Blackstone DresdenTotal RPs involved in: 2 currently, 1 in the making.Reason(s) why you should be Paradox: I have experience playing evil characters (on my last RP site more than here) I like the concept of the well intentioned extremist, and I've already dabbled in trans-dimensional characters so that's nothing new, etc. etc. etc. [spoiler=5. Mercy]Username: Merciful IdiotTotal RPs involved in: More than you can count.Reason(s) why you should be Paradox: I love playing an ultimately evil character and has experienced being them more than once. I have full understanding of the Sin archetype so far. When I RP, I lose my mind and suddenly think as if I'm the character I'm playing itself. I'll think like it and I'll know what to say all the time. The concept is awesome and I wish to participate, even if I don't get the Paradox seat. I'll also know the timing of almost about EVERYTHING...maybe......Still, I'm sure I deserve to be Paradox. I'm online everyday and would be online every hour if I didn't have school. Current results:Everyone passed Round 1.Blazinghydra and ProtoMachineKing have dropped out of Round Two. Blackstone Dresden, Merciful Idiot, and Nightmare Zarkus advance to Round 3.Round Three has started! P.S. This contest will continue until January 23rd, 2010, unless we finish earlier. Proto
Considering that the monsters so far before turning into a Sin were Normal Monsters and Effect Monsters may have a difference I may have to take some time to figure out a way to solve this part of the contest. So far I presume it goes like this. Sin (Dragon Name)(Level Equal to Dragon)(Attack and Defense equal to dragon)This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set, this card can be Special Summoned only by removing from play one (Dragon Name) from your deck. There can only be one Sin monster on the field. While this card is face up on the field, no other monsters you control can declare a attack. If there is no Field Spell destroy this card. Sunshine Jesse
Getting bored with YCM, cant spend time there, etc etc. I mean, I'll probably end up coming back when I find more time on my hands, but this will probably end up being my last RP.
