A silent figure slowly walked across the moonlit alley way. His cloak billowing in the wind. "So this is where the mighty FTR is located? Right under where i'm standing?" He chuckled softly. "This was to easy." The figure looked down directly at a manhole."All i must do is turn this." Suddenly there was movement in the shadows. "So there is a final task to opening the gate to our enemies demise? Well bring it!" the man bellowed. A shadow raced across the well lit street. "I can see you. Now give up your hope of a sneak attack and come and fight...Puppy Boy." The streetlights flickered and then shut off. "What was that about giving up a surprise attack? The Electric mouse has done his job. He has shut of all the power." a low voice rasped in the darkness.

"I still have the moonlight. So as i said. Give up and fight.

"Oh, but you forget. My powers grow with the full moon!" With that a hulking beast jumped in front of the hooded man. "Dark link, I could smell you a mile away. There is no way you can pass through me to get down there."

"In your dreams you man beast! I see it is one against one, pity your allies aren't here you see me defeat you!"

"Arrogance is your weakness Dark Link. You offended me twice now. 1: A Man Beast? I am a lycanthrope. And 2: You think that a puny human like you could beat a werewolf. That in itself is a sin."

"Enough talking Puppy Boy. Tonight you will fall before me!" Dark link spun around and tried to roundhouse the beast but was blocked each time by a huge hairy paw." Do you see how futile your attacks are? You make me laugh!" The beast roared as he flicked Dark Link into a building. Dark Link rose slowly and grit his teeth as he prepared to launch another attack. Suddenly five more figures leaped down from the high brick buildings. Dark link hissed " So, the gundam, swordsman, Mouse , Hero and non human decide to show their faces. I may be out numbered but i still fight!" With one long stride, the beast pinned Dark Link to the wall. "I will spare you this time. But you must tell all of your FTK buddies that Majortim means business, and so does the rest of the FTR." With out hesitation Majortim dropped Dark Link onto the hard cobblestone alleyway. He ran to the street. Suddenly out of nowhere a huge bat winged creature picked Dark Link up and flew off into the darkness. Majortim smirked. "So the legends are true. It is now Vampire Queen VS. Werewolf King..."

Dark link is an advisor, so he's incredibly strong ipso facto.

 

If he gets completely overmatched in the first fight their is either a Cullen Cliff between the leaders and non leaders or the sides are completely weighted.

 

For the most part an antagonist must look more dangerous than the heros. Otherwise it doesn't seem as serious.

Also note his piece of work is just a small sample and that he would use a lot more though when doing the actual fan-fic piece. Your comments and suggestions are very appreciated both by me and Majortim.

 

However, advisers are not meant to be strong. They are, in fact, meant to be weaker than normal.

Well literally, advisers are meant to be intelligent people, not skilled fighters.

 

So Kailyn, Chaoz Zero and others make good warriors...if that makes sense.

 

If you wish to make the advisers have magical/tactical skills, then why not.

It was quite good, but the roundhouse kick thing really cracked me up...

And the fact that I was prtrayed as... well, like that XD

Anyway, I say it's good, but you should say two instead of 2 and so forth.

 

Also, me and Deustodo are technically high generals, since we got our old ranks back, so that must mean we are the strongest, besides DMG and creator.

Either way, it's a good prologue, but not a good first chapter (unles, of course, you were to start in medias res, in which case, it'sd be good to catch people up on it.)

 

BTW, it's always better for the reader if you put spaces in between your paragraphs, as I am doing to this post.
