Continuing on the series of really small archetypes being expanded, today we look at Sealmaster Meisei, and his Talismans, or rather, what others we can create. Enjoy:

Sealmaster Taijyo

DARK

Spellcaster/Effect

4/1500/600

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add a "Talisman" Spell or Trap Card from your Deck to your hand.

Sealmaster Raigen

DARK

Spellcaster/Effect

3/1300/200

Once per turn, if a "Talisman" Spell or Trap Card is activated, you can draw a card.

Prodigy Sealmaster Meisei

DARK

Spellcaster/Effect

4/1900/1500

This card's name is also treated as "Sealmaster Meisei" while face-up on the field. If a "Talisman" Spell or Trap Card is activated, you can destroy a card on the field.

Talisman of Creature's Exorcism

Continuous Spell

Activate only if you control a "Sealmaster" monster. The effects of all monsters your opponent controls are negated. If you control no "Sealmaster" monsters, destroy this card.

Talisman of Demonic Purity

Continuous Spell

Activate only if you control a "Sealmaster" monster. The effects of all Fiend-type monsters are negated, and they cannot destroy a "Sealmaster" monster in battle. If you control no "Sealmaster" monsters, destroy this card.

Talisman of Reincarnation

Continuous Trap

If a "Sealmaster" monster is destroyed by battle, Special Summon a "Sealmaster" monster with a different name from your Deck.

Talisman of Protection

Quick-play Spell

Activate only if you control a "Sealmaster" monster. You take no Battle Damage and your "Sealmaster" monsters cannot be destroyed in battle.

I have a feeling I've gone too far... Have I? Have I not?

Prodigy Sealmaster Meisei is so important' date=' it has no level ;D

The last card is perfect support for an otherwise under-achieving archtype because they have horridly weak monsters imo

fix'd

fully agreed! I love thinking about how this would run, although the level is a good idea.

My only problem is Talisman of Protection. Is its effect permanent? Either way, I would change its wording to:

"Sealmaster" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. When a "Sealmaster" monster battles, you take no Battle Damage from that battle.

And make it a Continuous Card. I think I'm understanding this right...

Anyway, I like the cards. I give them an arbitrary 9/10.
