Dai quickly catches her with his arm outstretched. "It is not good for one to over exert themselves, Milady." Dai said. After getting a good look at her face, he blushed. So cute.... I'm so glad I took this job. WAit why do I find the elemental queen of darkness sexy? Brushing away this thoughts from his mind, Dai helps Jenou to her feet. "Your name's Jenou? Mistress has such a cute name."

 

He heard Leo and Leon's conversation but since both of them lacked breasts he ignored them.

[KurashiDragon]

"These people are strange." Kura simply thought satasfied with the results and flying away. "Hmm.... it doesn't seem like theres a war going on right now. The people here seem quite contempt with their way of life." Kura looks down and sees many people in a little village. They seem happy without a care in the world. A little boy looks up and sees Kura looking down. "Oh wow..... HEY MOM!!!!!" Kura quickly goes into a cloud as to not be seen. He hears the boy coming and showing his ma the empy sky. The mother laughs a little bit and politely nods as she leads him inside. "Heh..... lucky." Kura simply said as he flies off.

 

After a little while of flying Kura sees golems in the distance of a rater big town. "A raid.... no it's different...... Kura goes down lower and sees a large battle taking place at the gate. In the back he see's Zan. "That little town was definatally spared from this fate." Kura desends and takes out his Spark Sword. He takes down several of the golem units in a single strike then proceeds to stare at zan with what many people would crawl at their knees to avoid seeing. "Let's see if this necklace the sadistic man gave me really works."

[Nexev]

Caine looks up, staring at the clouds, wondering if seafood head already conquered it. IT's a good thing he did because he saw Kurashi. Immeditly switching to battle mode, Caine grinned. The time of thinking of his place in life was over, this field had a little less red then he liked.

 

CAine threw 5 cards at Kurashi with lightening speed then ran towards him to tackle him away from Zan. "Sorry but Einstein here is my ticket to freeing this world, I cannot let this place fall to the shadowy people. But look on the bright side, that thick skull of yours looked heavy anyway." Caine said with a large grin.

[Shadow Zero]

Leo thinks he senses a presence nearby and tries looking around, but has his view impeded by the buildings and other things surrounding him. Supporting Abby with his mantle, he uses it to help him rise above the buildings and looks at the surrounding areas. Seeing nothing but feeling that something is out of place, Leo flings his senses outwards and eventually senses that there is a major battle going on not to far from where he currently was. This is bad. This presence.....there's no doubt about it. It's Zan again, and he's making his move on another city. Lowering himself towards the ground and using his arm to steady Abby again, Leo looks at everyone currently there in general and says "Zan is attacking another city. I think it's pretty safe to assume that Caine is with him at the least, not to mention a huge army." Leo looks over towards Leon and says "Well this is quite the predicament now isn't it? here I could go and fight if not worrying about how Abby was doing, but you wouldn't allow that now would you, Leon?"

[KurashiDragon]

Kura looks at Caine for a second to come to grips with the situation at hand. "Hrm..... I have no qualms with you." Kura looks at the cards and dodges them as if they were moving at slow motion. He catches Caine at close range and kicks him through the wall. "Get up..... I know that wasn't enough to even remotely damage you." He says putting his Shock Sword away to face this new opponent.

 

OoC: Sorry for the small amount of god modding. That just felt like a good way to start a battle off.

Incidentally, Star, while he was going at Mach 2 speed, attempted to avoid a cute little bird. Going at such a fast rate, he couldn't, and slammed right into the bird, killing it. This also changed his direction, he was now heading straight down. He could see a land mass, it was only after a split second, and he could feel it. Star's precautionary break, or the immediate reverse of mana flow in his wings, allowed for the speed to be lowered down by a considerable amount, but not enough for him to pull himself up. He hit the ground a millisecond later, still going at a fast speed. The impact wasn't great; Star was light. What made the ground really rumble was the energized particles of mana, moving at a rate faster than the speed Star was going at, stopping so abruptly, and clanking into each other.

 

When Star hit, the ring he was wearing cracked very badly. A clear sprere surrounded Star for a second, and both the sphere, and he ring, broke. Though, they had done their job of protecting himself from serious damage. Star became unconscience. Unfortunately for him, this happened to be right next to the battlefield, in a pol of water, located inside a dense wood, in spring colors.

ooc: It would have been if it wasn't for the fact I think we are in a field.

 

ic: Caine got up, dusting off his jacket. He gave a chuckle "We got a live one here folks, but not for long." Caine pulled a 1-5 straight, the cards form into a pentagram and fire a laser towards Kurashi. Caine grinned, whatever may happen here, for certain it will be fun.

 

THe door to the citidal, (a place that is not a village and what Zan is attacking) open. Walking out with a cane is a small unassuming man. He looks up a the golems. "My my Zan, look at how your toys have grown. I told them we should have turned that devil down." Nexev smiled a Zan warmly. The others all killed themselves for each other's power. In the end, only I remain. I await your Justice, but to prevent it from being murder yu'd have to take me kicking and screaming." Nexev raised a hand, summoning a vast vortex of mana which he tosses at the golem, causing it to explode into many pieces.

[KurashiDragon]

Kura saw Star land as it was suprisngly close to him. He looked at star for as second and saw he was unconsious. "Hrm..... Be lucky you didn't hit me." He says not even flinching as several golems flew several feet away. Kura then looks at the Laser as it powers up. He unsheathes his Darkness dagger and turns invisible. As the lazer fires it reflects off Kura's invisible body. "A laser is a concentrated beam of light and my darkness dagger makes it so light reflects of my body." Kura smiles under his cloak "I thought that up on the spot." Kura thinks as he picks up Star and jumps away. He lands a little ways away from the battle and shakes him a little. "Hey you wake up. Your in the middle of a battle you know." Kura says as he sees the doors to the town open. He scuffs at his luck for someone innocent landing right next to him and his nature for getting away from the battle and risk losing for a single life.

 

OoC: Actually Zan just busted down the gate to the city where all those high ranking mages are but the outside is the field.

What! Nexev is out in the open!? I underestimated him...

"Now is the time to entroduce my latest weapon!" Zan turned and pulled a sheet off something behind him. The Cannon was larger the the Palisade of the Imperial Castle and within it contained 7 pure Manacite shards and a very important stone. "Begin charging! Remaining Golem Units, Attack drive the enemy back!" Zan Commanded as everyone moved to comply. Knowing he had been deprived of his revenge he would have no chice but to take it out upon Nexev's precious city. In a few moments the Beautiful Capital City would be no more.

"Do not worry, if you want, go fight. I gotta go, have an enemy waiting for me." he began to doubt that the fight would be so easy without the help of Leo. "My uncle can not bring his army." he said looking at Leo "I was a slave to my uncle for a long time, do not dare stop you." he paused, "As one person told me a long time. Follow your heart, do what you should do." he thought it should have followed that advice years ago, then spoke again "Do as you like, but try to come back quick, I may need help."

[Nexev]

"God f***ing damnit!" Caine screamed. "Can't I atleast wing someone?"

 

 

Nexev looked at the weapon sharply. "We are using the citidal as a hospital Zan, it's not evacuated. If one must smash this city because your enemies are as bad as you thought they were, I am afraid I must destroy that cannon of yours.

 

Nexev vanished, materializing next to the cannon, he stuck his hand through the machinery, pulling out the essential MoonStone. "A peculiar trinket. Either way I cannot let you sacrifice the masses for the needs of one."

 

ooc: Nexev can teleport and control the weather to an incredibly degree. Plus he can pass through solid objects. That's how powerful a person who is pure mana is. But he of course gets hit by the gauntlet, which instantly kills him but his mind somehow resides in the airship (suprisingly being a good thing instead of what most people will assume).

[Shadow Zero]

Leo finds an empty crate and turns it upside down. Abby still seemed a little unsteady, so he set her on the crate and allowed her to lean against the wall saying "Wait for me, okay?" Getting up and looking over at Dai he says "HEY!" Leo waits until he has Dais full attention before saying "There's something I need to take care of, I'm counting on you to make sure that Abby stays safe. Remember, No perviness, otherwise not even your dreaded fist of the Yaoi will be able to save you." Leo then turns around and walks over to Leon, then stops in front of him and stares for several long seconds before slapping him upside the head. "You don't have a chance against him alone, and you know it. Face it old man, you need my help whether you want it or not." Leo cracks his knuckles and says "Now are we just gonna sit here and twiddle, or are we going to get down to business?"

[Sploda]

OoC: The Gauntlet won't instantly kill him, it will slowly drain him and can be stopped at any time.

IC: "YOU, GET AWAY FROM THERE!" Zan Screamed as he activated the Gauntlet and its trendil whipped towards Nexev. Meanwhile the Golems began to march through the city while Imperial troops, as they were ordered, began to evacuate people on the mechanical transports. Golems were patrolling the city to ensure that no resistance would be encountered and to ensure that there were no stragglers. Zan however only cared about protecting the MoonStone at this point, a stone of near limitless energy, created in the experiment that gave Zan his green hair, Zan considered it his prized posesion, second only to his Gauntlet.

"Come on, they may need our help." Leon said, looking at the face of a new friend "Do you remember me your father very much, courageous, loyal and very strong." He quickly realized that Leo would take much time to get to the battle. "Here, I have a gift for you." he whistled, and a horse came running from nowhere. "It should be your birthday present, but since I could not see you for a long time, and I may die in battle. This is your wedding present, if I survive, you can remind me that it does not count as a wedding present. "

[Nexev]

The tendril wraps around Nexev, draining away away Nexev's essence before Nexev teleported away.

 

"So this trinket is worth more than the lives of thousands. Very well them, maybe I should just smash this instead. But I have a better plan." Nexev takes the stone and throws it in the air. Sending the stone flying away in the southwest. "Vengence or your science. Choose."

 

Caine looked at the stone with a thoughtful expression. He could use that against the dragon. Caine pulls a flush and begins chasing after the gem with a series of short teleports.

Dai looks offended. "Me? Injure the master in such a way? Are you daft. Or is it wishful thinking?" DAi asked curiously. "Nevertheless I will sacrifice myseslf to the greater good and b the only person alive not fighting Zans invasion.

 

As if to prove his point. The Bihic's Frost, Field, and Forest were already at the battlefield, stealing the food supply of the KArmdarcer empire so they could eat it with the squirrels. At least the squirrels Jenhou didn't kill with her super mode.

 

To entertain himself, Dai started making small, 5 minute funerals for the 500 little woodland critters who heard Jenhou and thus died.

[Shadow Zero]

"Well isn't this quite the interesting steed?" Leo reaches up and pets the snout of the horse that stood in front of him and said, "I'll call you Supiritto no Enkou." The horse nods his head once, as if in approval of the name that would be given to him and walks up to Leos side where he can mount a little more easily. Leo then turns the horse around and, seeing that Leon had left, gives chase until he has finally caught up with him. Then, easily keeping pace with Leons horse he reached over and slapped him on the back of the head especially hard and yells "Hey oyaji, just where do you think you're going without me?! Did you forget? I have an account to settle with your uncle as well!" Leo grins fiercely over at Leon and then eases up on the speed a bit, just enough for Leons horse to get ahead again and says "Lead on Leon."

 

--oyaji is japanese for my old man, being a rather rude term to use for your father, or just old man when speaking to someone older then you in general, although it is still somewhat disrespectful in that format.

[Sploda]

"It will take more than that Nexev, sad I thought you better." Zan said as he tapped his Gauntlet's Mana Pool to teleport the MoonStone back to him. "I'll just keep this on me until the Cannon is charged. It will be safer that way." Zan said to himself. He noticed that others were beginning to join the conflict and things could get ugly. "Colosuss, Now is the time to rise!" Zan yelled and as he did several large mechanical beings rose out of the ground on the field below. Zan was trying to save the people and open the path to Caine's 'burning Dragon'.

Nexev if only you would calm down and listen, I could explain everything.

[KurashiDragon]

Kura puts star down away from the battle and looks to see Nexev get drained of mana. "Hrm... apparentally loyalty is not an important aspect of the empire." Kura jumps past the cannon while the two were distracted and made his way into a large castle in the middle killing all golems that stood in his way. The members of the army were inside the castle when a large portly wizard stands up. "That large cannon will destroy everything put up the shield." A large shield of energy surrounds the castle and some of the buildings next to it. All of the townsfolk make their way into the barrier as members of the castle lead them underground.

 

The large wizard makes his way to Kura who had barged in. "I saw you battling Nexev... you seem to be a worthy man." The large wizard spoke. "My name is Drawl. I am a commander here and in charge while the General and his army is fighting outside." Kura closes his eyes to this and faces him as if he were a commoner. "My name is Kura and that's all I'll tell you. Even if you don't trust me you will trust this my powers can help you with protecting this area. If you want me here I'll gladly help if not I still have a score to settle and I'll leave it at that." Kura says in a commanding way that makes some of the soldiers angry. One of the soldiers speaks. "How dare you speak to the commander like that naive. Get out of our site before we make you." He stands up with a spear aimed straight at Kura who glances at it once and turns away. "Those who want respect from me must earn it from me. Not from their position." Kura says as the Soldier charges forward prepared to fight. However Drawl places his hand in the way. "This man is prepared to fight for this land for no reason. No questions need to be asked." Drawl says as the soldier quietly retreats to his origional position. "Kura was it.... you seem like quite a strong man. You knew exactly how to react even if nobody saw it. Can you truely help?" Kura nods silently. "Very well then..." The soldier stands up. "But sir...." Drawl looks at him once and he sits down. "What is your plan?"

 

*Kura explains everything*

 

Very well then..... men prepare to charge. As soon as the villagers are all underground attack." Drawl says as the villagers all run inside a room. Not soon after they all make it in and the soldiers open the door. "ATTACK!!!!" The soldiers come running and screaming out of the castle and fight the Golems while a small fraction follows Kura to the opposite side of the castle.

Leon heard a strange noise and felt a familiar presence. He stopped his horse and looked at a field where some mechanical beings were rising "Leo, I think we have to forget my uncle for some time." He said pointing to the big confrontation that was occurring in the distance. "I think Zen walked working hard," he thought they could perhaps save the city "So we end up with my uncle or we stop Zen?"

[Shadow Zero]

"I would like to settle things with your bastard of an uncle, but I also have some personal business with Zan. We'll head there first, if you've no objections. Keep in mind though that you once fought by his side. Can you truly face him on the field of battle as an enemy?" Leo looked Leon full on in the face, letting the full weight of his words hit home. He had fought Leon before, so even if he had not known of the mysterious ties that bound their pasts together, He would have still though of him as an honorable man. Still, it would be difficult for him to fight with someone who would change his allegiances so quickly, even if it was someone he had known in a previous time of his life. This shall be the true test of his character. If he'll fight against only the Golems but not Zan, then I'll take that as a good sign. If he willingly decides to try and defeat Zan though.......well I suppose it's better that i find out now as opposed to later when I might end up losing my life as a result. While Leo had his silent thoughts and stared at Leon while waiting for him to respond, Spiritto no Enkou pawed at the ground and turned his head towards where the battle was currently taking place as if wanting to join in the fray, making it necessary for Leo to reign him on while he awaited for Leons response to the serious question that he had posed.

"So let's save the city." he said. On the way to the fields where Zen's mechanics beings was rising, he could not stop thinking in Zen as an ally, but would not let Leo die in his hand without a fight. He did not know which side would he have to fight one of the two. Zen has been his ally and my chief for a long time. And Leo, son of his best friend, now his friend, but Leo was his enemy. He should choose his side before the fight, but did not know which. He wanted the war finish not to have to make that decision.

[Shadow Zero]

Leo easily kept pace with Leon as they rode towards the city, disappointment welling up inside of him. Leon had not given a clear answer yet, and that meant that there was still conflict raging within him. This was to be expected, as he was sure Leon was having difficulty choosing who he should side with. The son of his life long friend, or the man who he had fought alongside for so long. I do not envy your choice Leon, and i hope and pray that circumstances may change so that you don't have to make it, but if things go on exactly as they have been, you shall likely have to make that choice before long. As he is thinking this, Leos horse pulls up so that it is level with Nightmare. Turning to face Leon Leo says "If you should choose to side with Zan, I won't hold it against you. After all, comrades once foud are not so easily discarded, not even for the son of a friend." Leo did not turn to face Leon as he said this, but continued facing forward.

Having said what need to be said, Leo removed his hands from the reins that were used to direct Enkou, who had at the same time more then tripled his speed. Shoving his hands forward and downwards, Leo caused spikes to rise up out of the ground and impale all golems and Karmderecernian soldiers that were in the way. Then, moving his hands first outwards, then upwards, he caused a path to be cleared and the spikes to rise so that no-one could try to interfere with his fight. Focusing not on Zan, but on Caine, Leo raced towards him and made a fist with his right hand, shoving it straight foward as he did so and causing a good sized fireball to be fired which screamed straight towards Caine. As this happened Leo raised his voice and yelled "Round two Caine! Hopefully you're a little more challenging then your last pitiful performance!"

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to all, the stars of Solus that he had left behind when he departed this world stealthily made their way through the skies and over to where Leo was once again starting to fight, waiting to be called upon once more should they be needed.

 

--the time of the burning dragon is nigh upon us all. all that remains is for the final characters to be put in place for things to advance to the next stage.

Leo's words only made the choice he had to do more difficult, he began to beat some soldiers, he had more difficulty against the golems but the fight was not as hard as he had expected. After a few seconds he lost sight of Leo, he had not yet decided which side would fight, but for now he was beating some soldiers and golems to protect the city. Because the energy generated by the mana is like the energy of souls, the sword of Leon caused major damage to golems. But something does not go out of your head, the decision should do. A memory stopped the fight. It was she, the girl who Leon loved. He remembered her words "Follow your heart, do the right thing."

[Spirit of DMG]

DMG lands in the battlefield, directly behind Zan. She is wearing her stolen crest, ring, and holding her sword in one hand. "Hello, remember me?" she said in a seductive voice, thrusting her sword through Zan's right leg. She lifts her arms in the air, and folds her wings around her. She casually walks over to Kura and Star, holding her sword, blade over her shoulder, behind her head, dull side down. "Hey, guys, did I miss anything?" she asked as if just joining a party. "You weren't planning on doing anything I'd not approve of, were you?"

[Sploda]

Mana quickly coursed down Zan's leg to heal the wound. "Why won't you people just take the time to hear me out! I'm not here to kill you and I'm not here to conquer you! I'm trying to save you!" Zan yelled as he turned to face his new attacker. "The Castle was built on a Mana Vortex, but the Magus threw its balance off causing it to become unstable. I'm going to destroy the Castle with this cannon and save the city from being destroyed in a catostrophic explosion! If you were paying attention you would notice that none of the troops in this army are armed with weapons. They are evacuating the people just in case the Cannon fails." Zan explained slighty irritated. "I never intended to harm anyone other than the Magus who sold their people for power. Once the Castle is gone the balance will be restored and we can go to fight our true enemy!" Zan finished with a sigh. The Cannon was finished charging and Zan began to walk towards it, intent on placing the MoonStone within to save his people.
