"Milord, Creator we have arrived at the designated position." came a voice from outside the tent.

So begins the last moments of the Magus...

Zan got off his bunk and donned his Manacite armor. Manacite is a type of steel tempered with pure Mana. Its said to be as hard as diamond. After securing his armor he stepped outside and gazed at 'his' army. Zan was revolted by the sight of blood, which is why he refused to carry weapons with him except for self-defense. "I will defeat the Magus, without spilling the blood of my countrymen." Zan said to himself.

Star peeked into the room in which Leon had come from. He saw the elegant horse of his gallowing, his white, but not pure white, bones glimmered with a silvery lust in the rising moon. He also noticed his hair and clothing were changing along with the sky; now his hair was close to black. Leon had been moving very fast, so Star expected that he was running away from something. When Star came to the area in which Leon came from, he immediately saw too much. He could swear the energy in that room was immense, but not as intense as his own energy. The two figures he saw were definately mortal in some way, but the third seemed strange. Star's heart was beating faster than it ever has before.

 

Star was about to leave, when the mention of "half life" and "return to life" caught his ears. Usually, someone like him could never do something like that, but Star might have the potential to, if he worked hard enough. Then he remembered the costs to such great feats, and dismissed the subject. He left after that; maybe he'll see these guys again. With that fresh in his mind, Star went opposite of the forest, to a flatter plain, but damper.

Leon was imprisoned in his own mind, while the Lord have control over his body. That was worse than being a demon without feelings. Leon had to ask someone for help, but it was impossible to do while stuck in your mind, then he tryed his last trick to get free.

 

"Do you want me here, to fight you for the eternity?". "You're right, you will only disturb me."

 

Suddenly Leon felt he had been expelled from his body, he was just a mass of darkness in the shape of a human body and wearing a white mask. " Get Soulstealer, it is useless now that I have a body, and I have my own sword."

 

He took the Soulstealer and went to find someone that could help you.

"Well it loks like I must be off to extinguish this feeble resistance then." Chase muttered to himself while mounting his black horse "Well I'll be off then." Chase put his horse into a canter and began to ride off towards the Karmdarcer base "Probably the only reason they want me is to stategize or something boring." Chase sighed at the thought "I'd really rather not go to war what's th point of this resistance do they not like the little food we feed them and the useless roof we put over their heads ingrates." Chase chuckled to himself This empire is wonderful I would rather it not come to an end

"Kura, freedom through murder is not Freedom worth having. Just as Unity through Slavery is not Unity worth having. However, if we can show the empire that we can defeat them while not spilling so much as a single drop of blood, it not only shows that we are not interested in fighting any of their wars, but as well, that we are better people than they." she said, as a master to her student. She turned to walk away. "I'm still wanted for serious injury to officials, and for three counts of theft, it is unwise for me to remain in one place for much longer." she said, calmly, picking up a robe from the floor and throwing the hood over her head. She began walking away from the area.

Leo waited for Abby to say something, but all she did was lie there and blush while looking away slightly. Smiling kindly, Leo picked Abby up off of the ground and kissed her, then carried her away from the place where they had fought Leon, and back to the inn. As he grew closer, he heard the entire place in an uproar. Wondering just what the crap was going on, he looked at Abby from where she was in his arms and raised a questioning eyebrow, asking without words as to whether or not they should go back in there and see what was going on.

[Aqua Girl]

"Well We have to see if there fine....." Abby meekly says, While blushing.

"Your chest is warm...."

 

Abby Hugs leo tighter Burrying her face in Leo's chest to hide her blushing only to redden her face more hearing the beating of his heart increase at her hugging., "We beter get there..." Abby says, he voice muffled.

Suddenly, Leo doesn't really want to go back in there and just find nice quiet place to be alone with Abby, but she was right. They had to go back in and see if everyone was all right. Kissing the top of Abby's head he sets her down on the ground and the 2 of them walk in. At the exact moment as the door opens, something hits the wall at Leos head height to the left him. Acting reflexively, he raises the mantle and encircles himself and Abby with it. What the hell is going on?

[Aqua Girl]

More things start flying And hiting the mantle!

 

"Monsters! Leave you monsters!" The people in the bar scream.

"Leave! Your Evil!"

 

Abby listened to the comments, her eyes wide tears flowing, She colapses to her knees, covering her ears.

At first, Leo is shocked to see such a sudden change in the atmosphere, people who had only just recently been asking rather pointed questions and acting like nosy relatives. now they were all treating him and Abby like they were something evil and fearful. Looking over to where Abby was, he had noticed that she had started crying, her chest heaving as she sobbed over the words that had been hurled at them. gritting his teeth, Leo flung his mantle open so that he was no longer covered by it while still protecting Abby. Walking towards the people that were hurling things at them, he stopped 5 feet in and just stood there, taking all the hits from what was aimed his way. Monsters? We're monsters? heh...i get it. you guys saw what happened when you were ripped from your bodies, didn't you? I can't say that I blame you, and yet.... Leo couldn't even think properly anymore. He could hardly believe that just yesterday, he had set out on the last leg of his journey back to Abby to take her away from her family so that the two of them could live happily together. How could things have gone so wrong in such a short time...HOW?! Leo thinks despairingly as many of the glasses and plates hit him leaving cuts and bruises in their wake where he was unprotected by his mantle.

[Aqua Girl]

Abbys eyes go red, she curles up, "Stop... Stopstopstopstopstop STOP!!!!!!!!" Abby screams.

 

By this time Jenou had had enugh of seeing Abby cry, Jenou apeared infront of Leo in her human for a glass plate hits her face she looks up, Her eye is cut out but is replaced by a dark void with a red dot in the center, "Dont let her see what I'm going to do..." Jenou says, looking at the people with an evil smile(Like gara when he regenerated his Sand armor fighting Lee) The people frose in her tracks.

 

"Jenou!" Abby says, Befor being covered in the mantle.

 

Jenou's skin peals away but it wasent the Norma Shadow queen, she had four red eyes and an un naturaly large mouth the queen raises her hand bfore looking at leo Strikeing fear in to him, she looks back and releases a wave of black energy.

 

The energy fades and Jenou is standing there walks back to abby Coffing up blood befor she joins with her The energy completekly fades, The people look at them and chear and begin to repeat the original nosy questions abosut last night and the womans face is back to normal.

Not for the first time that day, Leo was surprised, although not as much as before. He didn't know why, but it seemed as though occurences like this were becoming normal for him. Immediately understanding at least part of what had happened, Leo shouts out saying "All right, all right, settle down will you? Seriously, is this normal for you guys? How would you feel if nosy questions like yours were being aimed at you immediately after spending a night with the one you loved huh?" On the outside, Leo was all smiles, but on the inside he was worried, very much so. Jenou...what was that you did just now?

The Ghosts Lord gave a final warning. "Boy, you do not know my powers.", after the warning he spoke a spell in a demonic language, then 4 white beings with white angel wings appeared, Leon knew who they were. They were called Raiders of Light, they are hybrids (half angel and half demon), their job is to hunt down those who should be dead. Whether for a half-demon, a shadow or a spirit that divides the body with a human or demon. Alone a guard is weak, but together they are very powerful.

 

Leon had no choice, he was a shadow, he would be hunted, and can not fight the 4 together. He had to flee. But he recalled that he knew another person who should be dead and that can be taken if caught by surprise. Leon ran to the inn, the smell of death was still present. He had to hurry, Leon ran to Leo Bell, Leon was tired. "You have to" he paused, sighed a little and began to speak. "Raiders of Light, released, your girlfriend in danger, They are coming. Take her and run away, no time for questions" Leon fell to the ground he was almost fainting. In the shadow form, Leo can not recognize him.

[Shadow Zero]

.....who is that? Leo did not know who it was that sank to the floor, although he looked familiar for some reason. "Jenou, look after Abby. I'm going to go and get rid of these 'raiders'." Without even waiting for a response, Leo runs out of the inn, but leaves the artifacts that he had gained from the treasure room of the fortress where he had fought Zan, hoping that it would be enough to protect Abby in his absence since he knew that Jenou would need a while to recover. Looking around as soon as he got outside and finding the raiders only 25 feet away and closing fast. "Rioru Reisu!" Leo fires a beam of energy from each palm and hits 2 of the closest raiders. Not waiting to see how effective it was he yells "Tsuin Ganreizu Zakeru!" and summons 2 large shields with a thunderbolt emblem with 8 smaller looking shield things that start spinning and firing Zakeru shots at a rate faster then a Gatling gun. "Tsuin Zakeruga!" Leo fires a Zakeruga shot that hits the two raiders that were slowly gaining ground, sending them flying into the 2 raiders that had slowly been getting up from the ground.

Leon saw Leo Bell, going out to meet the riders. When Leo was going out, Leon tried to warn him that the Raiders were very strong together, but he was tired and could not tell Leo.

 

A few seconds later, 2 Raiders of the Light passed through the walls. "Protect yourself" Leon said pulling the Soulstealer. The Raiders of Light pulled their swords, equal to Soulstealer. They used the blades to capture souls fleeing from death.

 

The battle began, Leon was fighting well, but he was not capable of protecting against the two enemies.

Leo saw 2 of the raiders edging towards the building, but was not in time to stop them. "sheet!!!" Leo ran into the inn once more, drawing the Sword of Truth as he did so. He entered just in time to see the shadowy stranger lose ground against the raiders...and they were herding him over to where Abby was! "NO!!!" Leo was completely lost, pulled beyond the point of no return. All his life he had tried to hold his anger at bay, but now he would not be denied. Completely throwing caution to the wind, he embraced the rage emanating from the Sword of Truth, the twin of his own, and in a single wordless yell, charges directly at the nearest raider and stabs the sword into its gut, piercing through it's back, and with an almighty jerk, heaved the blade upward and cleaved the raider from its abdomen clear through its skull. As Leo lifted the blade over his head and sliced it downward to finish cleaving the raider down the middle, it uttered and unearthly howl and disappeared in a bright flash of white light.

Leon was about to be defeated, when Leo defeated one of the Raiders of Light, "Right on time" Leon said as Leo finished the enemy. Now in a fair fight Leon defended the coup of the other raider. Suddenly he disappeared into the ground, he reappeared on the roof, and landed right on the enemy, he defeated his enemy with a coup from behind. "We have to get out of here now, come on. I'll explain everything later." he ran toward the back wall of the inn, he went through the wall and stopped to wait for Leo and his girlfriend, outside.

[Shadow Zero]

"Come on, we don't have time to wait around!" Leo didn't know if Abby had recovered enough yet but he couldn't risk losing Abby, not again. Right as he picks Abby up in his arms, he saw the other 2 raiders enter into the inn through the wall. Supporting Abby with his mantle and left arm, he extends his right arm and yells "Teo Zakeruga!" The shield weapon appears once more, but instead fires continuous streams of 8 simultaneous Zakeruga blasts as he uses his mantle to slam through the wall just to the side of where the shadow who he had yet to realize was Leon was. The raiders were blasted through the wall that they had come through, and the blast seemed to actually do some real damage this time. Fortunately everyone seems to have scattered when the raiders entered in, but they're not gone yet. Turning around and after a few steps, doing a running jump through the hole he made and lands just next to the shadow. "Lead on stranger."

Leon looked at the sky, he saw a giant white mass moving. "Why do not you hear me? Now that we have destroyed 2 of 4 Great Raiders of Light, the other 2 raiders called the Lesser Light Raiders," he said pointing to the army of raiders. "They are weaker than the first, but they come in an overwhelming amount, they want revenge." for some reason it were almost all in the direction of Leo Bell. A few raiders were in his direction. They were many, would be very difficult to defeat them. Leon was surrounded, but before being attacked he could see a lot of riders attacking Leo Bell.

Chase had finally arrived at the Karmdarcer Base. He dismounted his horse and went inside the small building. "Well Im here now tell me where to go I want to fight." After a while of squeezing information from everyone Chase exited the building and mounted his horse. then he rode off to where he was told the most current activity was. "How far is it to wherever I'm going?"

[KurashiDragon]

"I hope she doesn't die with such a naive statement." Kura thinks as he sees DMG start to walk away. He simply closes his eyes and begins to speak. "Whatever the cause of it I can only hope that this'll end in our favor." Kura states looking around and seeing a bit of Forshadowing of a dark future everywhere he looked. Once she leaves Kura looks around the battle scorn road. He sees lots of forshadowing in it. "Something tells me the future is grim." He goes in an opposite directions than DMG and flies away.

*A little while later*

Kura Sees a a battle in the distance. He see's large flashes of light and a girl on the ground. "Hmm.... lets see how this works out."

[Shadow Zero]

"Kuh...DAMMIT!!!" I left the other items with...Abby?! Leo knows that there is no way out. he has no choice, he is forced to use 'that' spell. He did not want this, but he knew that it was the only way. "Shin Beruwan Baou Zakeruga!!!" Leo uses his strongest and most dangerous spell, causing Baou to appear in it's ultimate form. unleashing a mighty scream, Baou crushes many of the enemies with his claws and gets rid of the rest with his tail and fangs, but not before Leo was severely damaged and drained of energy, even with the mantle protecting him while he shielded Abby with his body. His last sight was the disappearance of Baou, as well as a great portion of his power. A...bby...... Completely blacking out, Leo falls face forward onto the ground and his mantle goes completely limp and lifeless, looking to all as though he was dead to the world.

[Aqua Girl]

"L-Leo...... Nononononono NO!!!!!!!!" Abby screems, looking up at the remainig two raiders that closing in on the two, a masive spiral Of darkness surounds abby, her pony tails break and release her hair, the spiral of darkness turns to a collom of darkness.

 

Two Ebony blades slice through the collom of shadows dispersing the shadows(Like Ichigo siperses the dust When he goes Bankai), This new Figure has her eyes closed she opens them strikeing fear in the eyes of even the Raiders, the figure disapears and reappers behind the two raiders, one raider flops over cut in half, but instead of bursting into light it fades in to particles and raises to the sky.

 

The second one had its lower half torrn off, "M-My Mistress, fo-forgiveness dont let him...kee-keep me" The creature gurgles, as tears fall begging fredom from the king of ghosts.

 

"Forgiveness... You dont deserve to have a fate to searve a weakling" The figure says, in a voice so pouerful that would kill all humans and animals with in hearing, birds begin to fall.

 

With a Quick Slash The Raider Disperses in a simaler fasion as the other she defeted, "Leo...." the figure says.

 

The Woman walks over to Leon, "Child Of Shadows! Do you wish to be free from your prison and serve me or do you want to searve a fate like the Raiders?" She booms, In a voice Though not leathal to him it hurts his head, More birds begin to fall.

He knelt down, "I would like to serve, but has a devil waiting to be killed. I'm stuck to my old body, but a demon took my body." he paused as was usual, "But I feel that your boyfriend will try to kill me when find out who I am." he remembered all the times that Leon and Leo Bell met. They always ended up fighting. Leon never wanted to fight, but Leo always insisted on fighting. "Have not you noticed?" he paused and did the same thing he did when they met the first time."My name is Leon Hasenhought. What is your name?"

"You may call me Jahoh.... You my child becaous I pitty you I will kill the King of Ghosts.... let us move" Jahoh says, going to Leo picking him up and resting the Artifacts on his chest.
