Zoid Name: Blast Master

Zoid Appearance: Blue shell covers most its body, has grey head with orange glass for cockpit. Has GIANT particle beam on back for MASSIVE firing power. Has 4 smaller cannons on each side. Has grey legs and tail, with orange gears for joints (the little circles where the legs bend). Becuz of its weight, for it to move it takes a lot

Born into a middle-class family, Vance had an okay life. He had everything he needed, and even some things he wanted. Vance always wanted his very own zoid since he was a kid, so he always practiced his accuracy and sharp-shooting so that one day he could get one and battle with it. After obtaining his very first zoid, the Cannon Tortoise, Vance moved out of his home town to a more populated area where he could start his new life. He makes money by buying, selling, trading, and even repairing zoid parts. Using his money from his buisness, Vance modified his Cannon Tortoise until it became the Buster Tortoise. Vance is well practiced in battle and his perfect accuracy makes him the perfect sniper. He is a friend of Joey's and owes him a favor.

 

 

How you came about the Zoid: Ever since he was a kid, Vance has been trained to snipe and have perfect accuracy. When he had finished his training, he was rewarded with a cannon tortoise. Over time, Vance kept upgrading his tortoise and took out most of its mobility for firing power. That is how he made the buster tortoise.

Personality: Very friendly and outgoing, in battle he is dead serious but cool-headed and calm. Vance doesn't talk much during battle, but uses his perfect aim to help protect his friends always.

Zoid Personality(if it has one): Very friendly, but determined and never gives in. Has bonded with Vance and is able to help him by automatically moving or firing at objects in case Vance is in trouble or panics (which is rare).

IC: Sven drove the hovercargo and picked up Wesly and his Shadow Fox. Ursula began cutting away the net with a plasma cutter, cutting through it somewhat easily. "Well it looks like we did a good number on them. Luckily yours is the only one damaged Wesly," she said sarcasticly. He gave her a look a demise as he began repairing the damage to his Shadow Fox. "Yeah well its different to face a Zoid of the same type instead of just simply shooting at it. Though I have to say, you gave that guy quite a beating. His Zoid won't be 100% for the rematch, which is all we need," he said. Sven took the hover cargo to the next area where the rematch would take place and parked it. He then headed down the the maintence deck to see his team. "Good job today guys. I think we'll go with a bit of a different strategy next time. Wesly you'll take one of the Houndsoldiers instead of the Shadow Fox, Ursula you'll take the Shadow Fox and I'll take the same Houndsoldier as before, but in the Jager instead," he stated, "This will be plan Delta Omega Beta. Got it?" Both othe them looked over to him and said, "Yeap, sounds good." The Liger Zero gave a roar of approval.

joeys gustive slowly crawled into the next town. the poor thing bearly had any life left in it and it was all thanks to nick. if it wornt for the new hover cargo that joey was getting he would have hunted nick down with a sniper rifle. as they approched a local bar a man steped out and started walking towords the gustive. jeoy hopped out and greated him.

"yo Vance i was hoping you'd show."

"When is our fight!" Mai wined for the thousand time. Taiga ignored her. After her rampage earlier, he and Nina had spent several hours cleaning Stormy as well as refitting and recharging her power cells. The same had been done to the other two Zoids as well, just so that they would be ready to fight at short notice. Beneath him, the Storm Sworder fidgeted impatently.

 

"Easy girl," Taiga said soothingly, rapping on her codpit. "I'm just about done." He glanced over a few more reading and nodded with satisfaction. "OK Mai, Stormy's all set. All we need now are some battle orders. And don't crash into the cliff this time, 'kay?" Mai ignored him.

IC: "Yo Joey," said Vance. "Nice to see you too. Though I didn't expect to see you here. What brings you into town?"

 

"I'm here to collect that favor you owe me," Joey replied.

 

"I see... well by the looks of that gustav you came in, I'd have to guess you need a new transport," Vance said smiling. "Well don't you worry, I have just the thing! I'll let you use my hovercargo. In exchange I get to join back up with team sure-shot."

 

"Sure thing! You still using that old cannon tortoise of yours?" Joey asked laughing.

 

"Sort of. Just let me load up that old "Cannon Tortoise" of mine and I'll roll the hovercargo just outside of town. We can get ready to go then." A few minutes later, the zoids loaded up into the hovercargo, and team sure-shot was on their way.

"Folks, today we have a spectical at hand. It is between Team Flashedge and ...... Team Sure Shot. This shall be an interesting match so be sure to keep a close eye on the competitiors. Good luck warriors," the announcer stated on the telecast.

 

A judge capsule crashed into the ground, creating a large explosion and a large crator.

 

"The area within a 4 mile radius is a designated Zoid battlefield. This battle is between Team Flashedge and Team Sure Shot. All others must leave the battle field at once," the judge began before stopping for a second. He appeared on Team Sure Shot's screen and said, "You are on warning from your last stunt. Don't try anything funny." Then the judge continued, "Battle Mode 0982. Area Scanned....Battle field set up....Ready...Fight."

 

The Televisions in almost every shop lit up to view this matchup. Biddings were being made on each team.

 

The fight would take place near a lake and part of a forest.

IC: "You got it man," Vance replied. "And while I'm at it, I'm gonna load something I've been working on for a while know. I'm sure it will come in handy one day." Vance smirked from what he said.

"all right just hurry up cause ive got a target to catch and his bounty just went up alot." joey smiled at the thought of all the money he could make off this guy sven.

"Battle, battle, battle, FIGHT! Battle, battle, battle, FIGHT!" Mai sang over andover again, annoying Taiga to no ends. Nina quietly ignored her younger 'sibling.'

"Master Taiga," she asked over the intercom, "Are you ready for the battle?" She sat in her Saix, waiting for the go ahead to launch.

 

Taiga grinned. "Ready as ever!" he called back.With that, the three zoids were launched one after another vai the catapult. Taiga and Nina raced to the center of the battle field, a fairly large gap between them with Mai circling overhead.

Lets see if these Sure Shot boys can land a hit on us. I'll show them just why we're called Flash Edge.

Niki was overlooking the next battle, she was enjoying the good will of the teams, while her Zoid is restless, wondering what it would be like to just run through the Line and interrupt, of course Niki won't allow him, leaving Berserk to stay at least 5 Km away from the radius of the registered battlefield. "Who do you think will win Fury?" she asked, of course not really getting a response other than a growl, she was actually just waiting for her team to tell her when the next battle was, she didn't mind being the oldest, and she felt good protecting the kids when necessary, though Berserk hated it.

team sure-shot sat on the edge of the forest where the battle was desengated to take place. nick joey and vance all sat in their zoids waiting for their pray.

"ok guys listen up we're going to get this over with quick all right we need to go after the liger guy before someone else gets him so prepare your weopens k." joey smiled as he talked. his figers we're itching to pull the trigger on his snipe masters new weopen.

ooc: you guys might have to wait a bit cause i dont know if spinx or digi are on.

IC: Nick looked on the monitor and saluted to joey. The screen dissapeared, and he readied his Missiles. Now came the hard Part, waiting.

 

"Hey, Joey. When the ligers next fight going to begin." Nick asked impacienly. The screen reappeared, and joey popped on screen.

 

"Just a little bit. He'll be here soon." Again the screen desappeared again. Nick sat back and got his gunns ready. Next time, That liger wasn't getting up.

Taiga and Nina settled one mile from, the judge's capsule. Taiga tapped away at a small consule in his codpit, thinking idly.

Only four miles for the battle ground? Please! Such limited runing room. He sighed.

 

"What's wrong master Taiga?" Nina asked. She was positioned to his left, wiating for the signal to begin the match.

 

"No, No," he dismissed. "Just planning out a battle strategy." He sent her the plans. "Sure shot is bound to be a range fighter team. So we will have to be a bit more carefull than usual." He looked up pointedly. "Got that Mai?"

 

"Whatever!" she said, a bit put out. "I'll just pummel them with my beam cannons, strike then down with my long range cannon, hit them with my lasers, hit them with my missiles and Slash 'em to bits with these swords and claws! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

 

"We lost her," Taiga sighed.

"It seems so," Nina said, a bit concerned. "Your mother did say that a couple of her circuits are loose."

"A couple screws too, I just can't find the right ones."

the judge sounded and the fight began. "yo nick delta formation we're doing this my way."

joeys snipe master got into snipe mode and he started looking for targets.

"yo nick cover me!"

"yo i hope you like my snipe master special buddy!" joey pulled the trigger on his sniper rifle. suddly a large beam bullit launched from the rifle percing the sheild of the liger and hitting its leg. joey fired agian going for a second shot.

"im sorry did i forget to mention that my snipe master is equiped with a rail gun. its a pretty special weopen that can perce sheilds i figured i would need it to fight your shield liger. also my snipe master has pretty strong armor thanks to nick. you like?" joey laughed.

"Got you covered Joey." Nick pressed the button to fire and let loose a blast of missiles, Knowing that the enemy would dodge them.

 

Just as planned, the team side stepped the missiles, Giving Joey the needed time to set up his Snipe Master again. Joey aimed the Snipe Gun at the Blade liger, peircing the off the beam shield. As it hit the shield shut down, and Nick came in and Swung at the liger with his fists. Nick kept up the assalt, Waiting for Joey to reset up his Sniper Gun.

Sven and Ursula watched the fight on their large screen. "So the Snipe Master has a Shield penetration ability, while the Blade Liger has a Stealth ability," Sven commented. Ursula update the information on their zoids, so that we may come up with plans to be able to handle each weapon. "Yes sir," she said and began entering the information on the zoids. They all continued to fight while Wesly continued to work on his Shadow Fox in the maintence deck. "He said he had a way to cut through the net. I wonder how," Wesly said to himself.

Nick got up and coutered Mai's missiles with his own. Noticing the Optic Camo the Shield Liger had, Nick Looked for the shadow. The Iron Kong Swung his fist and hit the Shield liger dead in the face." Can't see, huh? Invisable you may be, you still produce a shadow. All i have to do is aim for that." Again, Nick swung the fists of the great Kong, Hitting the Shield liger in the side this time, Knocking it to the ground.

 

"Lets see you fight now kitty, when i can see everything you do." Nick smirked. This fight was over, and he was proud to be on the winning side.

"Don't worry guys, I'm in position." Unannounced to everyone else, Vance was charging his buster tortoise's beam cannon, hiding in the woods where he could aim and still stay outta sight. "Time to do my part," Vance said to himself. And with that, Nick fired the first of his 4 cannons at the Saix. Just as planned, the Saix dodged to the side. Then another shot immeadiately after. It dodged again, and another shot was fired. After this one, the lighting Saix almost got hit. Just balancing on one leg after the last dodge, the 4th and last volley was fired. With only one option left, the lightning Saix jumped into the air as high as possible, almost hanging in the air for a second. And that was all the time Vance needed. "Say goodbye!" Vance fired his beam cannon at the airborne Saix. It made a direct hit, smashing the saix into the ground and sending it rolling and crashing into rocks and dirt. "Heh, just like I thought." Unfortunately, the other team could tell where Vance was now. the good thing was they would have to dart into the trees and Vance was ready.

The Mighty Kong, Took the blow and Stood back up. The attack had scratched him and knocked the wind out of him but nothing else. He waited for the Liger to make another assalt, and as he came in, Nick grabbed the Liger's Laser blades and snapped them clean off. The liger was now sitting ducks. Nick used the Laser blades as a weapon and threw them at the liger, Hitting it in the Front Foreleg and Disabling it.

"hey liger dude leave my friend alone!" joey lounched his last bulliet at the liger hitting it dead center and knocking it out of the battle."i warned you this snipe master can take a hit!"

joey saw that the saix and the flyer were gonna go for him sence he was outta ammo for his sniper rifle. he switched to moble mode and started to run while he did he started targeting the flyer with his missles. "get ready to be grounded!"

"I told you this would be exciting Fury...neither side is willing to give up, and any of them would make great opponents for you....ne?" She hears the growls disagree, Berserk has only one Zoid in mind to destroy. "you really know how to hold a grudge....you really want to play with Zero don't you?" she laughs as she keeps observing the battle, Berserk studying them all very carefully.

"your stealth system is useless against me thanks to my thermal sensors! now you flying witch take this!" missles lunched fromthe snipe master flying towords the zoid only to be dodged. joey turned around as the piolet was distracted.

"time to take you outta the sky! go flex boosters!" joeys flex booster(type of gun) turned on hitting the wings of the zoid doing a large amout of damge to it. the flyer was forced to land but her systems wernt ofline yet.

"damn your pretty restant!"

Vance appeared on Joey's cockpit screen. "Need some help there buddy?" Nick asked smirking. "Get serious here Vance! Take out that Saix while I focus on the flyer!" Joey shouted in response. "Sheez, you really should relax. That Saix is good as gone thanks to my last attack. I'll take it down for you in no time flat." Vance walked out of the forest and saw the passing Saix following his teammate. "It seems like that Saix of theirs won't fall for the same trick. But that doesn't matter, because I'm always prepared." Vance was ready to fire another beam cannon. Aiming slightly ahead of the Saix to account for it's speed, Vance fired the beam cannon. It grazzed the leg of the Saix just enough so that with the previous direct hit, the saix was downed for a couple seconds. Then, Vance fired his cannons and finished off the Saix, leaving only the annoying flyer and the blade liger. And with the flyer already grounded, Vance could finish it easily. He fired his cannons to destroy it's damaged wing, then went over to it and crushed it with the enormous weight of his zoid. "2 down, 1 to go," Vance said to his teammates.
