Idiocy? You do realize that nearly all of the major plot elements in this game are heavily based on Hindu mythology, right? What with the world's existence being in a constant loop of apocalypse and creation and all that. The game's developers did quite a bit of homework to make the story work.

I've completed 5 stories and they all end the same, with Cosmos giving in and letting Chaos destroy everything, there's no 'creation' just 'eternal darkness'

The only thing I hate about this game is the storyline....it's total bullshit. Apparently, each FF character and their respective villans live on different planets....or different timelines? Not sure....but somehow seem to know each other well enough.

The Final Battle with Chaos is so funking cheap. It took me forever to beat him!

Other than that, pretty bad ass game, though the only character i've spent much effort on is Cloud...and he's 100% maxed out now.

No, the story is just cheesy. Cosmos, being a goddess, took characters from all across space and time to fight for her, just like how Chaos did. The only survivors in the war are the playable characters, and they don't really know much about each other other than being a part of the war and most likely informing their comrades of some of their history.

Square Enix Final Battles are supposed to be hard. If that's a problem, then be thankful there isn't a Superboss.

I maxed out Cecil two days ago.

How very sad that some people can't understand the story. Those that don't should just read up on Hindu mythology. If you still have questions' date=' come to me. I'm the Final Fantasy Scholar.
