The Elemental War [Started-Accepting-PG13]

"The darkness is here? Then I can't let them destroy this forest." Kousen said. He then turned back to her. "Sorry, I don't have a way to get you up into the air." he mumbled and then closed his eyes. He listened for any noises coming from the forests but heard none. There has to be someone in there. Those guys couldn't have just been aiming at thin air. Kousen was unsure of what to do at this moment. He didn't know whether to reveal his powers and at the same time reveal the person who he thought was in the forest or go looking for him. He decided to just go looking for him since he didn't want to show them his powers yet. He didn't trust them very much since he had just met them. Kousen rushed forward and jumped onto a tree. He grabbed the tree branch and flipped himself up into the tree. He then kicked off of the bark of that tree and landed in a tree just near it. He would now have a better vantage point from up here, and he could also listen better for any slight movements within the forest. He closed his eyes so that he could listen better. "I know you're in here. I'll find you." he mumbled as he listened. His training when he was little and his learning how to survive in nature would help him alot at this moment.

OOC: Sorry everyone, I really couldn't get on for most of the time y'all were on so this is very late.

 

IC: Terra suddenly noticed that Wendy was gone and flew into a panic. "Wendy...WENDY!" She immediately turned about on her disk of earth and shot back along the path, scanning the area for any sign of where her little sister had been. She then caught sight of her, trying to fly into the air. She shot quickly to Wendy and ran as fast as she could along the ground. Upon coming within arms reach of Wendy, she embraced her tightly and held her off the ground. "Wendy I'm so sorry, I promise I won't ever let you get hurt like this again." She quickly brought another disk of earth out of the ground beneath them, whilst she placed her hand gently upon Wendy's broken arm. She closed her eyes in concentration as she called out into the elements of the earth within her little sister's body. The bone snapped back into place and quickly mended itself. She then sent the disk of earth shooting along after the others, still holding Wendy tightly in her embrace, which was surprisingly strong for her light frame. "Did anyone come after you, Wendy?"

Kris listened to the pathetic wind elemental kouson's attempts at finding him. He whispered into the wind and it carried the message to Kouson's ear. It whispered, "I know who you are, wind elemental. You are the suposed keeper of this forest aren't you. Inside you're greiving for your parents and family. They were destroyed a few years back weren't they? Well, I'll let you in on a little secret. I Killed your family. I ain't evil, I was getting paid. But the look on your fathers face as he begged me to spare the rest. It was pure cowardice. You're a son of a coward that couldn't fight. I couldn't spare anybody or I wouldn't get paid. Sorry but money makes the world go round you know." He hoped that it got the wind elemental Kouson angry as that made him slow and reckless, an easy target.

"Wendy, ohmigosh, are you alright?!" Alyssa jumped off of her waterfall and onto the rock. "nice meeting you," she noted to Kousen. SHe turned to the rest of them and saw Kris peeking out from behind the thick foliage. "Die you mongrel!" she said angrily and fired several jets of cold water at the figure. She didn't know if she hit or missed.

What? How does he know about my family? What is he talking about? It couldn't have been him. I killed them. I KILLED THEM. Kousen was not sure what to think. He didn't know if this guy was telling the truth or not. It couldn't have been the killer of his parents. If it was, wasn't he just contradicting himself at that moment by saying he couldn't leave anyone alive but still left Kousen alive. Kousen decided to test this figure. He wanted to make it seem like he was angry at him, but his training since he was little taught him to be as calm as wind and the sea and to never let his opponents get to him or he would lose automatically. Kousen quickly turned in the direction that the wind whispering had been coming from and pointed his palm in that direction. "You won't get away with this murderer!" Kousen shouted as a burst of wind flew forward from his palm. The wind crashed through trees, but this was all part of his plan as well. He wanted the figure to think that his anger had made him forget about the forest he was supposed to be protecting. The wind moved straight towards Kris since it was following the direction the whispering of the wind had come from, and if it did hit him, it would surely knock the wind from his body momentarily if it hit, allowing for him to be stunned and give the others enough time to get him.

Alyssa looked at Kousen and then at Kris, uncomprehendingly, but soon resumed battling. "What on earth did he tell Kousen?" she wondered in her mind. She wondered if she ever would have the answer. She shot several more barrages of water on to Kris and then dived towards him, submerging herself in a self created rise of a wave for extra power. She then charged the wave, which was only about four feet high and made it douse Kris. He was knocked backwards but soon regained his composure.

Kris dodged out of the way of both attacks, revealing himself at last. He jumped down from the tree and thought, He didn't fall for it. I can tell. Damn. His breath isn't shaking like that of a person wanting vengeance. Kris readied himself for an attack. He brought up a nice breeze that turned into a blinding sand storm. He made it avoid himself and knew that Kouson would too, being a wind elemental.

Alyssa quickly doused the sand back down to the ground with a wave. "You'll have to try harder than that!" she crowed and then fired several more jets of water.

She maneuvered to the side and aimed at a different angle so that she wouldn't accidentally hit Kousen.

Kris backflipped away from the continueous spurts of water and put the breeze down when the sand fell. The sand was wet so it wouldn't fly and what was the point of a sand storm with no sand? Instead he used his wind powers to almost teleport(It was just fast running like flash step of of bleach if you've watched that) behind Alyssa. He kicked her in the back, hearing a satisfying crunch, and turned around to face Kouson. "It's just you and me now Wind elemental." He said.

Alyssa fell to the ground writhing in pain. She made really cold water and applied it, it didn't seem too bad, only a really bad bruise... she tried to stand up but staggered. She made a waterfall carry her back up to the sky and she had to sit down while she fought. She fired more spurts of water at Kris. "Not while I'm alive!" she yelled and made a jet of water that knocked Kris off the sky, but he soon zoomed back up.

Kris waited for the stupid water elemental to stop firing. He kept dodging. "Can't you see your doing nothing but Wasting your energy?" Kris asked after dodging another of her spurts. "You can't hit me so go help your friends or go chase down my friend Kisune. I dont know but this is my fight. Wind elemental to wind elemental." Then he pushed Alyssa back and she almost hit a tree but missed and landed on the ground.

Seeing the wind elemental strike at Alyssa, Terra stopped her disk of stone in Mid-air and set herself on the ground. "Wendy, I have to ask you to find somewhere safe for now, alright?" She smiled slightly, before gently placing Wendy, who she had been holding up in her arms for the entire time that she was in the air, upon the ground and rushing towards Alyssa. She used her control of earth to make the ground itself like a spring before jumping off into the air and coming crashing down just to the left of Alyssa. "Need any help with this one?" As she asked this question, she brought several massive boulders up from the ground levitating about her, ready to use them if necessary. She calmly laid her hand on Alyssa's back, having used the ground beneath her to levitate up to her level. She used a method similar to the one she had used for healing Wendy's arm to heal the bruise upon Alyssa's back.

Alyssa stood up and decided that it was futile. She just felt so helpless, and feeble. She wanted to help her friends. Kousen might die. She cursed and slapped herself mentally. She went back up and then hopped into a tree. "Fine then." she yelled. "I'll just sit here and watch, shall I?" she glared at Kris. She began summoning her great inner power that would leave her drained. Every elemental had their great inner power being the part that kept them going after extensive use of their normal powers.

She decided to create the largest wave in history, just for this idiot.

Kousen cocked his head to the side. "You're a wind elemental as well? This makes it fun then." he said as the sand storm began rising. He pulled his arms back when the sand storm fell away, building wind up into his palms. He then thrust them forward towards Kris, blasting two drills of wind straight towards him. After he shot these, he whipped his arms upwards and then down again really quickly so that the drills of wind hardened and came down on top of him like two huge buses. If these hit, he would surely be crushed under their weight. He gathered wind around his body for incase Kris survived, which he knew he would. This attack had only been to test his opponent's skill with wind.

Alyssa watched the events unfold. Kousen was powerful, she noted.

She watched as Kris emerged, battered but unscathed. She cursed. he should have suffocated and died.

She kept her inner power at the ready in case it was needed. Kousen was doing very well so it shouldn't be needed, she thought to herself. yes but just in case, she said in reply to herself. She wondered if she was going insane from talking to herself.

She shot a jet of water straight into Kris's head. "I was bored," she called over to him, her voice cool yet anger was bubbling underneath her cool composition.

Kris wiped his hair when after he went escaped the huge torrent of wind the bloody water elemenal squirted him with water. "So it's three on one if I count you water elemental isn't it? Didn't you hear me when I said I wanted a one on one match, wind elemental against wind elemental?" Kris shouted, shooting his hands in the air. A giant tornado appeared in between his hands but Kris compressed it into a small but deadly ball of air. "Your taking a big risk here. All of you are. The wind elemental will know this but this is ahigh level wind elemet technique. If this hits you the presure inside it will rip you in half quite literaly." Kris explained, glancing a quick cocky smile. "Oh and its fast, if one of you moves right now I wont be cleaning up your blood." He took a step back wards and another. He then turned and ran, air ball thingy in hand.

Kousen stared at Kris, wondering what he was doing when he saw his raise his hands into the air. When he saw the tornado form into a small ball within his hands, Kousen grew wary of what it's power was. Surely it was powerful since it had been condensed. But, Kousen had tricks up his sleeve as well. "You're not getting away so fast." Kousen said. He swirled wind into his right hand and then thrust it towards Kris who was now running away, meaning his back would be to Kousen. The tornado caught up with Kris quickly, slamming into his back and picking him up as it continued to spin if he did not dodge it. It then thrust him into the air and turned him round and round, confusing him and disorienting his senses. If he was caught in this, the ball in his hand would surely be dropped, or worse let go and released at point blank in his own hand. Kousen was suddenly gone, moving with the wind to appear farther away from where he had been before. He was going to get far away just to make sure he was not hit by that wind attack.

Alyssa watched.

She noticed a third figure that was definitely not Kris or Kisune join the fight, but it looked dark and mysterious and cloaked. It shot a fiery ball of flame at Kousen.

"NO!" Alyssa doused with a ball of water.

Another fire, elemental. this one on the side of darknesse, she thought grimly. At least it's weak to water.

Kris was shocked when he was flung into the air. "Never turn your back to a wind elemental, they have infinte range." Kris said, groaning. He almost facepalmed himself but remembered the ball of compressed air in his hand and resisted that urge. Just then the tornado he was on started turning black. "Thank you for the tornado!" He shouted, "My cursed storm now possesses it!" He jumped down from the now black tornado. "I'll be going then." He said as a giant gust of wind arrived. It came in front of him and after it went he was no longer there.

Kousen heard thew roar of flames coming at him and looked in the direction from where it was coming. It was about to hit him when it was then doused with water. "Thank you." he said to Alyssa. He flipped back along the ground and then swirled both of his hands in the air. Wind grew around him and formed into his palm. He thrust his palm forward and blasted a huge cyclone at the fire elemental. If this hit him, the cyclone would slam into the elemental and throw him backwards, stunning him briefly and throwing him down onto the ground. Kousen looked back to see if Kris was still there and saw that he was gone. "No. He got away!" Kousen said. He fell to the ground on his knees, pounding his fists on it. What if he did kill my parents? I just let their murderer go. I am sorry. I couldn't avenge you. Kousen then stood up and looked at the others. "I want to help you defeat these Darkness warriors." he said as he stared at who he assumed to be the leader, which was the water elemental. He waited for an answer from her.

Terra simply watched the wind elementals battling. Then, as she saw the flames come roaring forth to strike at Kousen, she opened and closed her hand. This caused a hand to form out of the ground beneath the Darknesse fire elemental and grab hold of them. This hand would easily prevent any of their movement and she looked at them briefly, before looking back at Kousen and Alyssa. "Well, if you're against Darknesse you'll have my help...though as I said earlier, I only defend and immobilize." She sighed quietly, calmly sinking to the ground upon the disk of earth she had summoned, looking to Alyssa for a moment.

Alyssa looked back. "Go ahead." she said simply if Terra was asking her for something. She wasn't sure why Terra was looking at her. "what?" she asked, though not sharp or mean, just friendly. She fired another bolt of water at the reeling new fire elemental and then another at the stupid cursed storm elemental.

"Will you two ever stop..." she wondered out loud.

OoC:delete your post after reading this and then start rping again. Kris has fleed and we're getting out of there right now. We're pretty much still at the battle scene, we're just leaving now to go to the camp.

 

IC: Alyssa looked at the rest of the disheveled and battered-by-battle elementals. "Let's get out of here and rest for a bit!" she announced. "Unless you want to keep pursuing the other guys?" she asked. She wanted to give them a choice, but she saw by the tired battered faces what their answer was. "let's go." she said.
