Thru the Valley of the Shadow of Death (Adventure RP)(Not Accepting)(Started)

Kaizen followed Ninjew but when noticed everyone was seemingly going their own ways, and a their own pace, he slowed his walk a bit. He teleported up to a tree next to Alyssa. "Hey," He whispered. "How fast can you fly?" Kaizen awys had to teleport to the next tree but soon they ran out of trees. He started teleporting mid air, next to Alyssa. "Man, i hope we're going the right way. If we fall get lost, that'd be annoying.

Sharon continued to walk towards her destination, occasionally peering to the side to see if someone from the group was watching her. No one was, but she had a feeling that she was being watched. It might be one of Ignis' lackeys, trying to keep tabs on me... she thought to herself, as she steadily picked up the pace.

 

Her progress was halted when she caught a glimpse of a young man in one of the alleyways. She was not sure, but it didn't seem to be a mindless minion. And it wasn't one of Necra's Drones, either, she sense. She turned around, and readied her weapon, in case that person saw her strolling uncontested and assumed that she was evil, before calling out the mysterious person.

 

"Who's there?"

'Your worst nightmare.' Carnage said. His cover was blown, but now he could have some fun. From the elbows downwards, he turned to metal. Quickly making claws, he charged. He knew now that other people could now hear his warcry, but nothing mattered now. His target was in his sights.

[spoiler=Appearance(If no Pic, a Full description. If Pic Spoiler):] Anomaly has black hair that reaches down his neck and hangs over his face in bangs, tanned skin that makes him seem as if he spent all his life in the sun, and gray eyes. He wears a gray T-shirt over a longsleeve iron mail shirt, black baggy pants, and black boots. He also wears a long black cloak that reaches down past his knees. He always wears strapped on his back a black pole staff which he created to form blades at both ends when he presses a button, effectively turning it into a double quandao.

 

[spoiler=Power(No God-like abilities. Be specific when describing):] Spirit Energy- He is able to control the energy that is within him and that surrounds him in order to shoot out powerful bursts from his hands and feet. This dome can also be enlarged to cover a greater area. He has many uses for the spirit energy, such as channel the spirit energy through his weapon to attack with or gathering it to form into animals that do his bidding. The animals are mainly for scouting purposes though.

 

[spoiler=Bio(Needs to be 4 sentences):] Anomaly was born as Ankh Laise to middle class parents. They taught him many things in regards to fighting ever since he was little. Anomaly grew older, and excelled in the arts of hand to hand combat and then moved to using a staff and finally a double quandao. He later found out that he could form what he calls "spirit energy" and use it to fight with. He then began training how to use it well so that he could combine it with his fighting style. He has left his parents now, telling them that he wants to travel the world, and view it through his own "eyes". He changed his name after he left to reflect his position in the world, an Anomaly because of his powers. He has heard about Ignis and wants to help bring him down so that people like him may live in the world in peace.

 

[spoiler=Personality(Needs to be 3 sentences):] Anomaly is a quiet individual who only speaks when he needs to. He is very cautious of people and doesn't trust anyone until they show him that they can be trusted. He is very calm and nonchalant about things, never liking to get into a fight unless he was really pushed into it.

 

[spoiler=Rp Sample(Needs to be 5 sentences):] Anomaly walked through the streets, his head down and his hands in the pockets of his black cloak. He had the hood of the cloak over his head to cover his face, and his staff was strapped to his back, visible to everyone. Anomaly didn't care if anyone saw it, because maybe then they would leave him alone. He walked as the wind blew through his hair and made his cloak flow in the breeze. He continued walking until he reached the street corner. He stood there listening, and then when he deemed everything to be in order he closed his eyes and was gone in a flash of yellow.

Alyssa nodded in agreement. "That would pretty much suck. I can fly pretty fast just not too fast. Not as fast as Ninjew definitely even though he can't even fly." she smiled at Kaizen then flew more forward. She looked ahead at Ninjew who was still moving forward. "I really hope he knows what hes doing."

Sharon brought her dagger up to her chest level, pointed downward. As her assailant charged her, she twisted her arm to parry his now metallic arms, and pushed herself out of harms' way to the side. Sharon had no idea how she did that; it was purely reflexive. Indeed, Necra had been in many fights, and had to know how to defend herself if she wanted to make a Drone out of someone who fought back. In fact, it seems that Necra's body itself knows how to fight, and could guide Sharon on pure instinct alone.

 

"Why are you attacking me?!" Sharon asked. As she did, she noticed that her destination, Kong's residence, was just a bit further down. She could make it if she made a run for it, but she had no idea if her opponent could move faster. For now, she just inched herself closer to Kong's place, while keeping her opponent in her sights. After all, if she could run for it, Ninjew at least should be there, and could lend a hand. Maybe. Though if she waited a bit longer...

 

Just have to make sure I don't get killed, and I don't kill him...

Carnage grunted. 'You are fast and a good fighter Sharon. Or should I say, Necra?' He smiled under his face mask. 'But you must know me. Why, ignus sent me after you and your group of would-be assasins. You must of seen me at least once.' Suddenly he made 8 medium sized shards between his fingers and thumb. He then charged. Flinging his arms out, the shards fired straight out infront of him, before making claws again. 'You must of at least herd of CARNAGE!'

OoC: great job when I was gone Guys. At namesellek, Change your power a bit. Your overdoing it on you powers. It good Ideas but no one here has the power of light because it's a beatsick power and it is to obvious a power for the villian. Change the power. maybe spirit energy or something.

 

Tiberius saw Ninjew and the guys head through the city. Tiberius stood and and walked through the city. Tiberius wondered if everything would be alright. Tiberius crept through the city with experience. Tiberius then walks towards the other side of the city where everyone had met except Sharon. He smiled at Selene, thankful she and the others were alright. Then realizing Sharon was missing, asked," Hey guys, where is Sharon?

Kaizen teleported down next to Tiberius. "Umm, not sure, actually. We're all trying to make sure we don't get lost, but everyone went and moved everywhere. She'll come back, didn't she do that last time? Like, suddenly appearing here and there. But now you ask, i think around back there, maybe she fell down or something. Wait, i think someone else is missing."

"That fiend," Sharon cursed Ignis, realizing that he must have been watching the group to be able to send an assassin out. On top of that this guy was that human mercenary that Ignis hired. With a name like 'Carnage', he surely fit in with the rest of the minions, at least.

 

Carnage dashed again at Sharon, this time firings metallic shards from his hand ahead of him. She parried the first two shards that reached with her dagger, while attempting to dodge. A weapon forged of darkness holds up pretty well, it seems. One of the shards, however, struck the side of her left arm as she dodged, tearing off a good chunk of her skin. Black blood dotted the wall behind her where the shards struck, and ran down her arm. Strange small tentacle like objects appeared from the wound and began to repair the skin damage, since Necra's greatest weapon was her human appearance.

 

Sharon, right now, though, was filled with thoughts about killing Ignis, for all the trouble he put her through. The tattoo on her back did not take kindly to these thoughts, and once again, sent a shock through the body. Sharon did not scream, though the pain nearly brought her to her knees.

 

"Why can't he just leave me alone!!!" she yelled outloud, shifting her stance to fight back. Regardless of the pain she was feeling right now, she wasn't going to let Ignis have his way any longer. She hated to do this, but Carnage was an enemy right now, merely one of Ignis' pawns. On top of that, he's human, the exact thing her weapon was made to kill. She flipped the dagger to hold it backwards, and used her left hand to grab and climb up a nearby ladder to the roof of the building they were fighting in front of. Once at the top, she could see her destination clearly. She stared down at Carnage from above, motioning him to follow her with her free hand.

 

"Come on." Sharon muttered. Her last stand would be made here on the roof. She didn't know how much longer she would last against Carnage, but hopefully someone from the group, maybe Kaizen or Alyssa would spot her up here. She moved toward the center of the roof, raised her weapon up to her body, and waited once again.

'Hmm.' He saw one of the shards wound his target, though he was disspleased that she had started to heal so quickly. He heard he shout 'Why can't he just leave me alone!!!'. 'If I did, I wouldn't get payed' he said to her. When she went on the roofs, he made his hands into claws and climed up the wall. Seeing her stance, he said 'Your ether brave, or stupid. You won't be able to hold up against me long. Prepare to say good-bye to your host-body, Necra.' He then made two curved blades from his hands and leaped forward, slashing his hands as he did so.

I'm going to rejoin if thats ok. I quit because I wasn't getting enough posts in because of Time zone difference(all of you probably live in USA am I right?) I'll try to be online as much as I can.

Power: [spoiler=]Full body transformation into a demon body. Powers when in the Demon form include wings, a giant animal claw on the right hand which can cut through nearly anything, Enhance speed and strengh and extremely good eyesight. However he only has one eye in demon mode. The other eye was replaced with a fake eye that can hypnotise people, however he hardly ever uses it and when he does it Tires him out to the brink of unconciousness.

 

Bio(Needs to be 4 sentences): [spoiler=]An experiment gone wrong. A few years ago Ignis started doing experimants on little kids in order to make an unstoppable army of super kids that obeyed his every command. Derven was the first working experimant but he didn't obey orders. He broke out of the Experiment 'Lab' and went to the nearest town, changing back to human form. He didn't change into demon form again until he was 15, when a group of Ignus' men ravaged the city he was in. He lived in hiding and has now that he has heard of the group planning to take Ignus down he is hunting them down in order to join them.

 

Personality(Needs to be 3 sentences): [spoiler=]Kind, goodhearted and forgiving. He is a brilliant friend to have about and he is extremely loyal. However in demon form he becomes a dark, coldhearted fiend but can still control himself meaning that he wont harm his friends.

 

Rp Sample(Needs to be 5 sentences): [spoiler=]Kris actually fell asleep now. He 'woke up' in the dream on the floor of an alley with a bottle of vodka in his hand and he was feeling dizzy and drunk. [i]I haven't had a drop of alcohol in 2 years, why am I feeling drunk?[/i] Kris thought. Then another voice chipped in. It said, "You feel drunk because you want to be. You feel like your in hell because your life has been hell. If your life is terrible you feel terrible, if your life is great you feel great." Kris was confused and asked, "What do you mean? What are you? How can you tell what I'm thinking?" No response. All Kris saw was a strange black light, which he knew was impossible. It was pitch black and yet so bright he couldn't look directky at it. Then the dark light started growing and growing. It touched his skin and Kris fainted. Inside of his head was immense screaming like the screams of the planet dying. He didn't know what it meant but he knew he had to do something. He was about to stand up when he saw his life, every second. He screamed.

 

Kris woke up, terrified. He stopped himself from actually screaming. Was that just a dream? He asked himself. He then asked Gedrik, "Has BJ arrived yet?"

Tiberius was thinking on where Sharon could be. Then, Tiberius heard a shout, "Why can't he just leave me alone!!!" "Hey," Tiberius says out loud. "That's Sharon's voice." Tiberius turns and points to the west entrance of town. "They are over there. We have to get to her." Tiberius then starts to take of running. *I hope she is okay,*Tiberius thinks to himself.

Selene decided to follow Tiberius, she wanted to make sure Sharon was okay as well.

They got to the scene. "Sharon, all you alright?" Selene asked, clearly alarmed.

She watched from the top of a low hanging building as the events unfolded.

Cold metal clashed against Sharon's dagger, as she knew that now there was nowhere to go but down. And she wasn't going to jump down until some of her allies get here. Fortunately for her, Necra's artificial body was built well, and was stronger than it appeared. She was not forced back by Carnage's power, but held up against him without backing down.

 

"Sharon, are you alright?" It was Selene. In Sharon's mind, there was no person she was more grateful to than Selene at this very moment.

 

"Yeah, besides this guy who's trying to kill me!" Sharon yelled back, keeping her eyes on Carnage. She wasn't about to be the fool who looked away from her opponent while locked in deadly combat, not at all.

Selene drew her jade sword and then dived down to get some practice in. She knew the tiger ku ng fu. "Now's the time to put that to use, finally..." she thought to herself. She did a parry and then a spinning sweep with her sword then did a kick and then sequence four of the tiger advanced kung fu.

IC: Kaized heard the shout as well. He turned around to where Selene and Tiberius was running towards. He teleported up next to Sharon. "woah, what happened with you ad the new guy? Did you take his food? Oh well, it's ok now, Selene and i are here, Tiberius's coming." He looked up to see Selene fighting back the freak. He noticed his arms were blades, and shouted to Selene "be careful, his arms are blades, mayb the other parts of the body can be too!"

she did a complicated sequence and knocked the guy out.

"That was hard." she whistled.

She smiled at them all but then the guy stirred again.

"NOT AGAIN!" she groaned and then her sword whistled through the air and the fight began again.

Derven walked throough town. He looked at all the wretched drunks and smokers. "Pitiful scum." He said. He kept walking untill he came across a young girl. She kept saying, "My town is in trouble and so is Tiburius." Tiburius! He's the guy leading that rebellion thing. He ran over to the girl and made the guys restraining her let go. "Where is this Tiburius? I can help him." He said. The girl pointed to a column of smoke in the sky. Derven ran outside of the City and changed into his Demon form, getting an eyepatch and putting it over his right eye. He spread his wings and took off. To anyone below he looked like an ordinary eagle but he could see them clear as day. He flew down lower and saw a girl fighting a metal boy while another boy stood at the side with a girl. He thought he remembered the girl but it flickered away. He flew down and landed in between the two fighting people. "Hello. Now why are you fighting, He knick your cake?" He said while folding up his wings. He held his claw at the boy, aiming to cut him in half if he moved and he aimed his hand at the girl, figuring she was weaker. He looked to the two standing at the other side of the roof. "You better get going you two, this could get ugly." He said with a polite but dark smile.

Selene stood in rage and swiped and did sequence five of tiger kung fu. "Stop it, he almost killed her!" she gestured to Sharon. She swung at the attacker again (not Derven, the other guy that was attacking Sharon) and landed a blow on the guy's shoulder and then a scratch along the neck.

"DIE!" she said furiously.

"Jeez this one is feisty!" Derven said, dodging out of the way of Selene as she went for The other guy. "She's not even put off from killing him by a guy that looks like some sort of demon of Ignus." Kris then joined the fight, helping selene by attacking the metal guy whenever she stopped. He looked at the other two people on the roof and said, "Are you with him or her?" Pointing to the two fighting people but still loking at the other two people on the roof. They're probably just scared. A guy with an eyepatch, a pair of giant bat wings and a big claw instead of a right hand just came swooping down from the sky. Kris thought while awaiting their answer.

"They're with me," Selene said quickly so the guy didn't get any bad ideas. She stopped to catch her breath then resumed fighting effortlessly. "So...what...is...your...name?" she asked between jabs and swipes of her jade sword as well as some incorporated kung fu steps.

She glanced down at Sharon. "Are you alright?" she asked.

"My name is, well my name in my Human form is Derven. I'm sort of a..." He started. He ducked under an attack from the metal man and started again, "I'm sort of a different.." He kicked the metal guy in the chest, "...Person in this form." He changed back to human form and took his eyepatch off. He got into a fighting stance and pulled a long knife out of his pocket. He readied himself to charge or for the Metal man to charge.

Selene nodded. "I can fly," she offered. She demonstrated by using an aerial sequence of moves as she swung her jade sword. She attacked from the sky. She realized that the metal man hadn't known she could fly and he watched, mouth agape, as she barreled down from a high point and sliced an arm-blade off.

"Well. I shoulda aimed for his head." Selene mentally slapped herself for missing. She never did that back at home!
