Tiberius woke up around 7:30. Since he was already dressed, he walked down stairs towards the others. he saw Ninjew and Selene talking to each other and Sat on the other side of Selene. "Good morning guys," Tiberius said as the bartender dropped breakfast on him. "Thanks." With that, he dug in to the food. In about 5 minutes, He was done. Now all he had to do was wait for the others to wake up. "So guys," Tiberius asks his to comrades. "I wonder what we will all do after Ignis is defeated."

Kaizen woke up, inside the bathtub. 'oh man don't tell me i fell asleep again.' He quickly got out and dressed and rushed downstairs only to see Ninjew, Selene and Tierius sitting. He teleported to the seat next to Ninjew. "Hey, thank god i wasn't late." Hey Bartender, can i have what that lady's having and that guy's breakfast ? Both look so nice and warm. Then he turned to face the three. He had overheard Tiberius saying something about Ignis, and was interest to hear about it. His drink arrived first, and he sat there silently drinking.

"So, they're staying in a tavern?"

 

Sharon was sitting in the grass, speaking with an average looking housewife, who was holding a bag of apples. She was one of the ones killed and resurrected by Necra when she was in this town. While she could give commands to her mentally, she could not receive information from them in the same manner. Thus, they were seated outside of the town on the edge of the woods.

 

"Yes. Shall I go kill them for you?" The housewife said with no malice in her voice. The way she just casually suggested killing someone unnerved her. This never happened before, but since these people are traveling to kill Ignis, they might be following an old order from Necra.

 

"Nononono, don't do that!" Sharon said hysterically. "I... uh... want to kill them myself!" she added unconvincingly. "In fact, I don't want you trying to mess with anyone claiming to wanting to kill Ignis unless I'm involved!" Sharon summoned her dagger to her hand, stabbing the ground next to her with it.

 

"Ahh, I understand." The housewife said, standing up. "So you want to make more drones?"

 

Sharon nodded. "It's going to be morning soon, so you should go back before someone notices you are missing." she said afterward. The housewife handed the bag of fruit to Sharon. Sharon proceeded to take a bite out of one of the fruit. "And thanks for the apples."

 

"Anything for you," The housewife said, as she walked back into town, presumably to her home. Sharon psychically transmitted her new orders to the other few drones in the town. She was going to make the trip to Ignis as easy as she could, even if no one recognizes her efforts. After all, when Ignis goes down, she might finally be free.

"I dunno really," replied Selene groggily. She was still sleepy. "'morning, Kaizen." she muttered as she saw Kaizen sit down near them. She floated a few inches off her stool and then gave a start and sat back down with a thud. "Oops, my powers sometimes get away from me when I'm still half asleep." she giggled. She turned to Ninjew and Kaizen. "What do you guys think?"

"well, i never really trained my teleportation. So i don't know my limit of teleportation OR if it is affected by my on status. But.." Kaizen said as he teleported around the corner to get some salt and pepper and then to get the newspaper(??) and teleported back to his seat. "I don't think it affects me too much, or that i'm too used to sleeping." Kaizen yawned. But before he fell to sleep, his breakfast came, so he sprinkled some salt and pepper on his eggs and started eating.

Selene ate her eggs and became more awake by the minute. "So what do you plan to do, Tiberius?" she asked, trying to conduct a conversation. "And what about you, Kaizen? Other than train your powers? I really have nowhere to go except my flat where I train other kids in martial arts." she made a face. "I didn't like that life much. The only good part was teaching kids."

"Yeah," Tiberius began. "I was thinking about becoming a teacher to those with gifts. You know settle down, Get a wife, have 2 or 3 kids. You know something like that. I was also thinking about being a protector too. You know a hero I guess. It just goes to show.." Tiberius then stopped when the town's bell rang erratically. "Stay here guys I'll be back." Tiberius ran out into the town square were he sees a girl no older than 14 ringing the bell. "Michelle!!" Tiberius yelled. At her named being called, she ran over to him. She hugged him for all it's worth, then fell faint. Tiberius realizing she had gone limp, felt oozing on his hand. Tiberius lifted up to see blood on his hand. Realizing that the town's hospital was closed, Tiberius brought her into Tavern. "What's going on?" The bartender asked before seeing the girl with blood oozing down her back. Immediately, he brought out a bed from the back and some supplies. Tiberius laid Michelle on her stomach gently and with the Bartender, proceeded to help her. After around 15 minutes, she started to come around.

"Oh, my god!" she said. She ran over to the injured girl. "Who is this?" she asked as she helped apply a bandage to the wound. She smiled faintly at the girl who was half conscious. She flew outside in a rush to see if there was a killer anywhere. the town was normal other than the bloodstain near the bell. "Hmm..." she said. Tiberius seemed to be drawn by the sound of the bell. It must've been not normal. She flew back inside.

"I know what I'm gonna do. The same thing I've been doing all my life. No need to change it now," He simply said. 'Though it'll be easier once he is dead,' he thought to himself. "My powers aren't affected by how I feel, it's affected by what I want. So the more I want, the more its capabilities are worth," he said. Then he got off his stool and strolled out of the bar/tavern. he then saw Tiberius rush past him to the girl as she rang the bell. 'Hmm, wonder what's up,' he thought. He went back inside as Tiberius carried the girl in.

Alyssa nodded a Ninjew leaving and then sighed. would she ever settle down like Tiberius would? She liked his idea of teaching kids with powers, but they were extremely rare. She enjoyed teaching. she finished her breakfast and stood and stretched. "I'm going to do some tai chi outside until you guys are ready," she said to Kaizen and Tiberius, who was tending to the injured girl.

"Selene," Tiberius said. "That bell is the bell that is located in each town. It is one of the links to many towns actually. It tells us if someone is in trouble and/or in danger. The bell is suppose to be rung at similar intervals. But the erratic pattern drew me outside. This is Michelle. She is my friend from the first town we should be passing through today. She must not have enough strength to ring the bell. Michelle, I need you to tell me what happened. I know you need your rest, but i need your help first. Who or what did this to you?"

 

Michelle looked at Tiberius eyes and said," It's Ignis. His forces are in my city. Tiberius it was chaos. Everything was being destroyed. My family...My family... is gone." With that she stopped talking and cried onto Tiberius's shirt.

 

Tiberius thanked Michelle and said," This is The Bartender Michelle. He will take care of you. Stay in the Tavern and don't come out for anyone but me okay?" When Michelle nodded, Tiberius stood up and looked at his companions and said," Let's go."

"woah what happened to her?" Kaizen stared at the little girl. "Hey bartender i had enough thanks, don't really feel like eating after seeing that." He turned to Alyssa and asked "what happened?" She noticed the little girl had woken up, so he teleported behind Tiberius and listened carefully. "Who would do such a thing to a little girl? You know her, Tiberius?" Asked Kaizen.

Sharon heard the bell from her 'camp' outside. She worried that one of the drones went and actually went and did something in the town. Please, please, please, please, PLEASE let those guys be okay! The mark on her back was reacting to her sudden concern, but she wasn't going to let it bother her now.

 

She took out a cloak that was delivered by a drone earlier and put it on as she ran into town. It was a normal travel cloak, though this one was hooded so her face was concealed. Sharon maneuvered through the alleyways when she passed by a young man, another drone. Sharon mentally summoned him to the alley, where the two had a clear view of the plaza with the town bell.

 

"What's going on out there?" She whispered to the man, almost hysterically.

 

"I think someone was injured out there," he replied calmly "They took her into the tavern."

 

"Go out there, but DON'T DO ANYTHING out of the ORDINARY!" Sharon's voice was agitated, although still quiet. The man exited the alley and went into the tavern to check out what was going on. Sharon stayed hidden in the alley, and slooped down on the ground to look like a beggar. Hopefully no one examines her too closely.

Selene nodded at Tiberius then decided to practice Tai chi in the corner of the bar so she wouldn't be disturbed but she would be near the action. She did some warming up poses but then made her motions more fluid as she got more complex at each motion. "Ignis's forces are in the city...we should get going!" she said vigorously.

"Alright, lets go," Ninjew simply said. He walked out of the tavern and looked in the direction of smoke. "That's probably the right way," he said pointing in the direction of the smoke. He then began running towards it, but not at his lightning speed. He knew the others would catch up soon enough. Kaizen would hopefully be able to keep up, after all he was able to teleport. That was something Ninjew felt would work well with his abilities.

Kaizen shrugged. "Aww man already.. alright i'm ready, awaiting yor orders, Tiberius." He teleported and took a bit more food, then teleported back next to Tiberius. Looking at everyone else, it seems as thought everyone was ready to kick ass. He then teleported next to Ninjew and whispered "Is it time for you to show your moves? you being secretive is getting annoying." But Soon Ninjew was gone. Kaizen could see a streak of yellow run down. 'woah how fast, i better catch up.' With that, he teleported down near where the streak was and kept on teleporting down to the front. "Hey Ninjew, is this light or Lightning or what? you run heaps fast!" Kaizen shouted as he kept on teleporting to catch up.

OOC: I'm running, so you'll have to keep up.

 

IC: "Heh, you'll see them when I want you too," Ninjew said. Suddenly in a flash he disappeared, having moved at the speed of light for a split second. Then he appeared farther ahead of Kaizen, still running. "Keep up if you can," he called back. He had a smirk on his face as he called to Kaizen. He continued running, dragging Kaizen with him.

"Right let's go," Tiberius says as he runs out and catches up with Ninjew. "Hey Ninjew, You will taste battle today. We need to attack together. We shall start at the entrance and work our way through the city. We need to work fast or the city will be lost." Tiberius finished with looking towards the smoke in the sky. 'I will take my vengeance for Michelle. She Shouldn't have to suffer like I had too. They will pay. They will pay.' Tiberius then gets a determined look in his eye and runs ahead of Ninjew.

Sharon glanced upwards and saw Ninjew running off. Peeking out to see where he was running off to, she noticed a large column of smoke in the direction he was going.

 

What?!

 

"It seems like Ignis attacked the town over in that direction. Tiberius hasn't left yet, though" The man Sharon sent in to gather information said, now standing next to her.

 

"Thanks, now go back to whatever you were doing before." She said, waving the man off. As soon as he disappeared from sight, Sharon pulled the hood down further over her head. Tiberius came running out after Ninjew.

 

"Alright, let's go."

 

She followed after the two running, falling in line after Ninjew, while making sure no one in town got a good look of her face. She couldn't quite keep pace with him, but she has the advantage of not being human; she doesn't get tired.

 

"Where are you guys going?!" She asked, while running. Best to get the information straight from the source, after all. Plus, they might be confused with an unidentified hooded figure running after them.

Kaizen had this pained look on his face. 'How annoying' he thought. He repeatedly teleported a bit in front of Ninjew, only to be overtaken by his speed of light run. "Does this tire you at all? and do you even know where we're going?" Kaizen looked back. Selene and the rest of the group were disappearing into a blur, a dot, and now they can't be seen. Kaizen sighed. 'i'm gonna have to watch for this guy.' Then he noticed Tiberius. 'what how did he get here?'

OOC: I don't know how you both somehow caught up when I clearly started running first. Whatever though.

 

IC: "Nope this isn't tiring at all. The only reason is because I do this all the time. Walking is so slow to me, running is just simpliar to me," he said. He looked at the column of smoke that was coming slower and closer. "That way I presume, since that smoke is fresh. You can smell it," he told Kaizen. Then in another flash he was gone again. This time he kept the speed and continued moving quickly towards the town. Kaizen would have to move quick in order to keep up, while the rest would have to just move as fast as they could to catch up in due time.

OOC: I can teleport, and i said i followed the yellow streak to catch up after sometime but Tiberius seemed like he just appeared

 

IC: Kaizen nodded. "I see, so basically your running is like my teleport because walking is just so slow compared to it. I understand. That way? ok, i'll catch up soon!" and just as Ninjew disappeared, Kaizen shouted "bye!" to the rest of the group as he teleported to try catch up. The yellow streak seemed to get furthe and further. 'Tiem to test my limits' he thought, and he tried to teleport at least double as much as he cuold before. He succeeded in only going a bit further but he was still happy.

Suddenly, Ninjew picked up the pace, and darted off at almost lightspeed. How could he run that fast and see where he is going? Sharon thought. She didn't try to speed up, since she didn't have Ninjew's super reflexes or whatever that's stopping him from not running into obstacles or tripping up. I just hope he doesn't run into some trap alone or something...

 

Sharon caught up to Tiberius and pulled down her hood. "Something's going on down there?" she asked. By this point she wasn't really breathing at all, the running and talking has distracted her from doing such a basic human action.

OOC: Not you Kaizen, Tiberius and Sharon.

 

IC: Kisune swerved between trees and bushes, creating an obscure pathway towards the town. When he reached the outskirts he stopped and waited for Kaizen. "Don't push your limits," he stated sharply as he arrived. He walked into town, cautiously as he watched for anyone or anything. He kept his movements to a quiet as he moved, as not to alert anyone or anything in the town. "Keeo your voice down," he whispered to Kaizen as he went through the town.

Kaizen sighed "How annoying," he whispered "and don't worry, i was just testing, not pushing them. If you're afraid i can still do heaps." he whispered back. "Shouldn't we wait for them? or we just scouting." Kaizen decided to keep quiet, it was harder whispering than speaking, and sneaking was quite annoying. He followed Ninjew through the town, and he spotted a group monsters raiding a neighbourhood.
