The Necra body shrugged at the tent conversation. "As long as you guys know how to find shelter, we should be fine without tents." She glanced out the window into the sky. It was a bit overcast, but who knew how the weather would change over the next three days. "I don't need to worry about this, but you guys better not get sick because of a sudden cold spell or random rain." She turned to Tiberius. "Especially you," she pointed at him as she spoke. "After all, you were bedridden last night, and for all we know, you might get sick again." She put her hand down and sighed. "If I was home, I could just buy some medicines for emergencies, but..." She stopped that train of thought, remembering the situation she was in. "Well, if we had medicine, it'd be helpful for emergencies, but prevention is very important, still." She did not want any of the group getting sick before the final fight. This will require everyone's strength, after all.

 

Meanwhile, the Sharon body continued plotting over the tactical maps, moving bits and pieces around. While no new strategies came to mind, Sharon was now comfortable with controlling both bodies independently with ease.

Selene nodded thoughtfully. "Yes but we do have protection, don't we?" she said with half a glance to Tiberius. "He can shoot fire out of his limbs. So he can make fire, which decreases the chance of him getting a cold spell or anything like that. Besides, in the short time it takes for us to get there, I really doubt that we're going to get sick. What are the odds?"

She didn't want to seem skeptical or rude but she was just pointing out a few valid points.

The Necra body crossed her arms, and suddenly got a grim look on her face. "*Never* say 'what are the odds,' never," she said, shuddering. She knew that it was superstitious of her, but whenever one of her friends says 'what are the odds' of something bad happens, that thing happens. At one point she was even thinking about making it into an informal rule and naming it after Merphia, the friend who usually said that line, but eventually decided against it.

 

After that uncharacteristic outburst, Necra's voice mellowed out. "...Just be careful alright? Our powers can't solve every problem, after all." As much as she'd like to hide behind a veil of professionalism, Sharon truly cared about the friends she met on this journey, and didn't want to lose any of them.

"Anomaly," Tiberius said with thought in his voice. "That Actually would be a good Idea. But, can you make that many clones of things? I mean as many as it would take to be a big enough distraction?" Tiberius then turn to Sharon to Show off his power for the first time. Fire formed into a ball in his hands. "No I don't get sick. That was just from the power boost that Kong gave me. I have violent reactions to things like that." Tiberius finished. Tiberius then looked at Selene and said," Those are very valid points. Valid indeed."

Alyssa nodded then. "Fine. But I'm not sure if we should still bring medicine. I mean, it would weigh us down even as much as the tents he supposed." she said. "I think it's better to travel light." she concluded and smiled at Sharon. She lifted herself up and sat down on the railing of the steps. She casually slid down the banister.

"So when do we leave?"

"I won't need alot. Maybe about 4 or 5. There are like 6 or 7 of us correct? They're only being the distraction, so if there are about 4 or 5 of them taking out the army, that will make more come as back up even if there is only a couple of them. If it does get to rough, I'll give them the order to attack in guerrilla type combat. Attack and flee until Ignis's troops are all focused on them." Anomaly said. He became a little uneasy, for he knew the effects that would occur to him from forming too many animals at a time. He knew that this same effect would occur with his clones as well. I can deal with it. It'll help us become one step closer to defeating Ignis. He looked up slightly, shaking off his uneasiness so that the others couldn't guess what the side effects were.

Tiberius looked at Anomaly and gave him a raised eyebrow. "Are you sure you can handle it?" Tiberius asked with a slight hint of concern. "I don't want you to fall out while we are in the castle and then we have to drag you to open the two doors. Trust me It won't be a pleasent experience for the three of us if we get caught by Ignis half way to the door." Honestly, Tiberius hoped that Ignis wouldn't catch them and this plan would be one hundred percent full proof. He also hoped that everyone would make it okay.

"Yep, I"m sure. The power boost gave me alot more spiritual energy than before. I should be at least at 75% of my full energy after making the clones. I'll just give them my basic abilities. I've also been meditating to improve my stamina, so that should help." Anomaly said. No matter what, he had to do something to help. He would probably just have to find some time to meditate when they were able to rest on their journey there. "I won't let you down." Anomaly said, more cheerful now that he believed in himself rather than doubting his own ability.

Carnage got a few things together. He picked up the spider and put it in his pocket. He then felt it chewing at the bottom of it. He then came back. 'That trap almost caught me out as well.' he said under his breath. He turned to Tiberius. 'That place has traps at every corner. His goons are strong. Even with this plan, this might be a suicide mision. Good luck in your task.' he had trouble saying the last part.

Kris landed outside of Kongs fortress. He walked through the door to notice everyone having an arguement so they didn't notice him. "I'm back. Not that anyone cares right?" Kris said, shrugging his shoulders. He sighed and waqlked over to the corner of the room. He pulled a sandwich out of his bag and started eating while sitting down.

Selene looked at him and shrugged. "personally I'm surprised we haven't left yet. It seems pretty straightforward to me." she said. She smiled at all of them. "So why can't we leave yet? Ignis only gets stronger and stronger as more of the day passes by. He gets stronger by night, right?"

She looked at all of them questioningly. She reccalled that that was what they had said but maybe they planned to infiltrate the fortress by night but hide in it until day. Or something.

"I was just making sure everyone was ready," Tiberius said with a smile on his face. "Is everyone ready for the journey?" When everyone nodded the affirmative, Tiberius turned to the stairs. "Alright then, Let's move on out people." With that Tiberius starts to walk down the stairs. *This is do or die time now,* Tiberius thought while walking down the stairs. * It is time to see if the power boost and the training I've done really work out. For the word's sake, I hope it does. If we fail, The world will succumb to darkness.*

Kris walked out the door first. He transformed instantly and flew up High, intending to spot any troops of Ignus'. When he didn't see any he just flew further ahead. He liked flying much more now as he wasn't as clumsy but strong and fast. He flew up higher and higher. When he got bored he started to go a bit higher then he transformed into his human form and started falling. It looked like he had lost conciousness but when he had almost hit the ground he transformed again and flew upn again, relishing in the adrenaline. He flew back to the crowd and landed again. "Sorry, couldn't help myself."

Selene flew after Tiberius and walked right next to him. She flexed her arms in preparation for the fight that she knew would take a day to reach. It would take her much shorter to fly there but she knew it would be a pointless attempt without at least five people. She was glad she was on the team. She smiled at Tiberius then at Derven (Magnet soldier you did it again) and nodded. It was time to leave. She walked into the forest with Tiberius and Derven right behind and breathed in the scents, but then walked out of it.

"I'm ready." Anomaly said as he walked down the stairs after them, his hands in his pockets. He looked at Kong's place one last time before he walked out of the door. This is it. He walked up to Tiberius, walking alongside him and Selene. They were his team now, and he had to make sure he protected them. "Hey Tiberius, when do you want me to send out the clones to the other spot?" Anomaly asked them. He walked casually and slowly, awaiting a reply. The staff strapped onto his back thumped against him with each step he took. Thump. Thump. Thump. It went for each step that he took. He closed his eyes and sighed as he began focusing on his spiritual energy, preparing it for when he would need to use it.

Selene simply flew ahead. "I'm going to get energized by flying a bit faster. I'll still be here, just above you. Call down if you need me." she gave a fleeting smile to Anomaly and Tiberius then rocketed up into the sky. She saw their small forms below her so she followed them, casting her gaze sometimes out into the views of the forest or the views of the small village that was to the south that they had recently left behind.

Tiberius watches as his new girlfriend soared above the clouds. It felt refreshing to watch her fly. Tiberius walked out of the barrier and began on their path towards a certain victory or certain defeat. Tiberius began leading the group into the forest as he began treading. Tiberius climbed over the rocks the were in the way. When he got down, Tiberius looked around. Tiberius did not like the sight. The animals were all dead and slaughtered in a most inhumane way possible. Tiberius decided to move on. Tiberius leaked a tear when he noticed the wolf clan that he knew where dead. Tiberius decided to give them a funeral when he came back. He wanted vengeance.

Selene noticed that hey had stopped so she hurried on down.

She saw the scene of the animals.

"Who did this?" she said, but she knew perfectly well who. "Gahhh! Ignis will pay!" she said and kicked a nearby tree in anger. She pulled up a dead rabbit surrounded by her dead babies. "How inhumane can they get?!"

She looked around and the ground was littered with the carcasses of dead animals and birds.

OOC:wow, 2 pages and no reply to my post, i'll count it as i got my power boost in the morning, and that'll be why i was missing?

 

IC: Kaizen walks out of the room. "Thanks," He said and kow-towed to Master Kong. After the power boost he felt like a completely different person. As he walked out to join his group, he thought back a few minutes ago.

 

Kaizen felt as if he fell into a deep slumber after Master Kong's chant. When he opened his eyes, he was standing in a room. Not exactly a room, just a place of darkness. Kaizen walked around, looking for something in this black world. He instantly stopped when the floor, or what he was walking on, was starting to rumble. He stepped back in alarm, and the ground slowly erupted a swirl on the floor. The swirl grew bigger, and spun faster, and soon it was a mini whirlpool. Curious, Kaizen looked inside. It was reflecting his childhood, his life with all the teleporting, but soon everything disappeared. The whirlpool grew so big it enveloped the whole room, and absorbed the darkness, taking Kaizen along with it. As this was happening, he felt a surge of sprititual energy fill him up. He disappeared into the whirlpool, and there was nothing.

 

But Kaizen felt otherwise. He knew he was there, that he could sense himself, but he just didn't have a physical body. Something hinted to him to try teleport, and he did so. But this time, the process was different, he did not try to just "teleport" to his sighted destination, he was taken into a blue, misty, room, and then the teleport was complete. But now he was hovering above the scene where his body was with Master Kong. It had changed from a meditating stance, to one where his body was flat ont he floor. It was sweating heaps, and once in a while it would scream and shake uncontrollably.

 

The Spiritual power was still filling him up, and he felt himself feel more alive again. suddenly, he was taken back to his actual body, where Kaizen opens his eyes. he was met with Master Kong, whom he stood up and kow-towed and said "Thanks," and walked off to join his group.

 

OOC: Kaizen's upgrade to his abilities is that now, instead of seeing and teleporting there, he gets taken into another dimension, in which its just misty. He now possesses a limited unconscious extrasensory ability which prevents him from teleporting into solid objects within his immediate vicinity, but this ability diminishes the greater the distance he teleports. Because teleporting into other solid matter would cause severe injury or death, he will only teleport to an area he is familiar with or that he can clearly see at the time or has seen in the past. He can teleport himself and others he is touching, but this places a strain on Kaizen and the passenger if teleported too far, or too many passengers at once. Also, his alternate dimension is passable, in other words, Kaizen is able to place items or equipment into the dismension and pick them up whilst teleporting. He cannot, however, place humans, or things with life, as the dimension will place too much strain on the lifeform, and may kill or injure it. He can teleport parts of his body, so that region of the body is hollowed. But he can only do it in an emergency, because teleporting only a part of his body may separate the two and kaizen may lose it forever.

Sharon's bodies were one of the last to reach the scene of the disaster, she fell towards the back of the group and kept pace with the slowest member to prevent ambushes. The Sharon body also had a small knapsack of various medicines from Kong's place, though she only took what she knew how to use, figuring a few would not slow her down at all. Fortunately, the bodies have limitless stamina, though she didn't know about their overall endurance.

 

The clearing didn't shock her; she has seen Ignis do such things before. Why someone would randomly kill wildlife instead of taking out actual threats to their rule? She pitied Ignis, since he seemed to only care about showing off how much power he has like a child would. Unfortunately for him, he needs to either be depowered or be killed, since a 'child' with that much power is dangerous for the world, as seen by the slaughter in front of her.

 

Sharon's bodies maneuvered carefully, through the mess. The Necra body summoned her blade, while the Sharon body ran ahead to the front to help out up there. Kaizen was near the Necra body as they passed through the area, apparently with his power upgrade.

 

"Be careful." She said, still walking forward. "Ignis' forces may still be nearby." Knowing Kaizen's power, he should be able to defend himself at least, and who knows what kind of boost his upgrade gave him. Sharon then picked up the pace, to be sure she wasn't left behind.

Selene looked around. She stared at each of the bodies then went on immediate defensive overdrive guard.

"They still might be here..." she told herself. She turned to them.

"i'll take a quick scout of the area!" she said.

Without waiting for a reply she jumped into the air and did a quick sweep of an area. She saw movement in some trees to the west of them so she observed them. It was two hooded figures talking amongst themselves.

She flew back to her companions and whispered, "Two figures west of us most likely with Ignis."

"Okay," Tiberius says. "Thanks for the update. We will move into the bushes and hide. We will not tire ourselves needlessly. Besides I want to see what the typical day is like in the castle. Come on guys let's move." Tiberius and the people move into the brush and wait for the two cloaked figures to move past. Everyone was in the bush by the time the two cloaked figures came past. One of the cloaked men stopped and turned to the other.

 

"Man," Cloaked man one says turning to the other. "Ignis is wasting his time destroying animals for game. I wished he would be serious. I mean We haven't counquered the other half of the continent yet."

 

"Shut up," The cloaked man two said. "If Ignis decides to do this, the let him. It is his kingdom after all. We are just captains in his army. let him do it. I honestly don't care. Just wait, Ignis is bring out the big guns to take care of the western part of the continent. The Orc trolls. Come on. We must make it to the city of Underhill (The city we past to get to Kong's) We have to relay the plans to the major." With that the two quickened there pace.

"there's a major in Underhill?" asked Selene to Tiberius in a low whisper so the two captains wouldn't hear.

She watched them recede into the foliage. "How far away is that, days?" she asked.

She looked at them again and noticed that they were far enough away to be safe. She stepped out cautiously in case one of them would look back and kept her voice low.

She flew up into a tall tree and scouted ahead, they were walking far away now. They had quickened to a run.

Anomaly stared at all of the dead bodies, shaking his head as he did so. This truly was sad. Ignis had no reason to kill these animals. They could do no harm to him. It just showed how weak he was that he had to kill off something that couldn't even harm him. "Tiberius, just let me know when to send out my clones whenever you're ready." Anomaly said to him.

 

Anomaly then his within the bushes when he saw the others hiding there. He watched and listened carefully, intent on hearing every word they were saying. "Hmm.." he thought as he listened. Anomaly thought that they should follow those two mysterious figures, but he wasn't sure what Tiberius was going to do. He just waited and listened for an order from Tiberius. He hoped that they could end Ignis soon. His destruction of the animals was truth to his evil.

"we should follow them." voiced Selene, not knowing that Anomaly had basically said that in his mind. "I mean, it's up to you, but personally I think we should follow them to Underhill." she said.

She looked up at the sky. It was already late morning. "And to do that, we need to get going." she said. "let's go!"

She smiled briefly.
