"I..," Tiberius began as he began nervously to tell her how he felt. Tiberius had never talked to a girl about this topic. And he certainly never felt this way about a girl before. Tiberius decided to do the only thing he could think of on instant. He kissed her. *This might be risky, but I've always wanted this.* Tiberius thought to himself.

 

Kong looked over at Anomaly and smiled. "Next for the power boost. Don't hide your power from me. Come you shall be next."

Selene shut her eyes tight. "yes!" she accidentally whispered and kissed him back. She threw her arms around him. This was perfect.

She let go as Kong called for her next, after she was finished with Tiberius. She realized that Anomaly hadn't finished so she kissed Tiberius again.

"Yes." she said more certainly.

Tiberius looked kinda dazed after the kiss was finished. "As Master Kong says, 'Don't look for love, because it will find you.' Thank you for accepting me as your boyfriend so to speak. I think now we will be very happy once Ignis is gone. Come on, let's get back into the room. Know you, you're power up shouldn't be too hard on you."

"Me? A Power boost? Okay I guess." Anomaly said. I'll take anything if it'll help me to help the others when we go up against Ignis. Anomaly slowly walked forward, unsure of what was going to happen. He didn't know if he should be afraid or simply embrace the power he was going to get. He felt alot of power emanating from this man Kong. He could tell that he was very intelligent and powerful. "May I ask? What type of upgrade would I get for my powers?" Anomaly asked as he finally stepped up and faced Kong now. He stared up at the man, wondering what he would now be able to do with his spiritual power control.

Selene nodded in dazed agreement but gave him a quick peck on the cheek as they walked back in. Selene looked at Anomaly and nodded curtly and waited for her turn to be boosted. She smiled at the prospect of Ignis's death. there would be nothing but happiness and Tiberius, she hoped.

Kong looks at Anomaly and says," That depends on the person. For you, well i'm guessing the spirit gun will get better and have more attachment to it. Well Tiberius, when his powers were not harnessed, the power boost gave him the ability to harness his powers and a little control. He has worked on his control to a point where he doesn't need a teacher. Ask Tiberius what his power is because judging by most of your expressions, Most of you don't know what his power is. Ask him after though. Anomaly, Step in front of me so your power up can begin." With that, Kong held his hands out when Anomaly stepped in front of him and began chanting in the Latin tongue.

Selene stared at Kong appreciative. "My teacher Leona," she whispered to Tiberius. "She can do the same thing except hers comes in like a liquidy wave form instead of orbs of light. She controls water, see." she said.

She was still giddy with excitement during their previous encounter.

Sharon opened her eyes, sat up, and looked down at her hands. I'm back in my own body again! Even with this realization, she still felt off. In fact, she felt like she was waking up... again. Necra next to her soon sat up, and Sharon could do nothing but stare at her. Necra stared down at her hands, then turned to Sharon.

 

"This is going to take some getting used to," Sharon said. While Necra's voice was more innocent, Sharon sounded worldly and experienced. The two of them stood up, still watching each other, and dazed from the experience. Both of them turned towards Anomaly as Master Kong went to unlock his hidden power.

 

"Wonder if he'll have to go through something like I did," Necra said. "Oh wow, that does work," she added on. While this act looked nonsensical, this was all just Sharon getting used to her new situation.

"Ahhh that is cool," Tiberius says while looking at Selene. "To bad Kong can't come with us to help us fight Ignis. Oh well, maybe he can come out of this barrier eventually. Meanwhile, I guess we should just focus on the task at hand. It is a good thing Kong is doing this. Though This power gain thing is going to kill me." Tiberius said the last sentence more to himself, but wouldn't be surprised if Selene overheard.

"kill you?" Selene took an uncertain step back. "What do you mean? Literally?" she wondered. She figured he might be using a figure of speech but she wouldn't be sure.

Soon it was time for her to step up.

She looked as Anomaly finished. "Nice of you to join us." she muttered to him. "We look forward to bringing Ignis down."

"No I'm being serious," Tiberius said with a scared look on his face. "Remember when Kong talked about my power harnessing?" At Selene's nod, he spoke," Well the time I tried that, I started coughing up blood and I almost died. I felt like my body was going to die. I guess I could attribute that to being younger at the time but I'm not so sure. "

Selene put an arm on his shoulder. "I'm sure you'll be fine. Kong knows what he's doing. He is the great Kong after all." she said. "If it would kill you, he'd know and he'd not do it. I'm sure. But then again why not just tell him?"

She waited for his answer but Kong called her up and then she had to prepare.

IC: Anomaly stepped up and then stood there. He decided to just ask Tiberius later what his power was just like Kong had told him. Anomaly closed his hands and listened to the chanting that Kong was doing. What will my power up be anyway? I hope it gives me better control over my spirit energy. Anomaly thought all of this as he concentrated and focused while Kong chanted.

 

Anomaly's consciousness suddenly flashed and he was seen to be within a dark world. Anomaly looked around this dark world and couldn't make anything out. He looked around him, unsure of where he even was. He held out his hand and his spiritual energy formed within it, glowing brightly to light his way. A ball of spiritual energy then formed in his hand and grew even bigger, eventually flying into the air and lighting up the room. The room was now revealed to be somewhat of a small room with a dark blue pillar standing in the middle of it.

 

Anomaly walked forward towards the pillar, only to see it get farther and farther away from him. What was going on?What was happening to him? Anomaly then began running so that he could reach the pillar. The faster he ran, the more the pillar moved away from him. Eventually, he got tired of running to it, and decided to wait and have patience. He stopped running and then stood there, out of breath as he stared at the pillar. Maybe if I wait for it, it will come to me.

 

An idea then came to him. The pillar must represent his powers. He couldn't try to hurry up and master them, he had to be patient and wait, undergoing many trials in order to fully master his powers. As soon as he thought this, the pillar suddenly appeared in front of him. Anomaly was at first surprised at this, but his surprise soon faded and he came to accept what had happened. He reached his hand out and touched the pillar, spirit energy emanating from his palms as he did. As soon as he touched it, the pillar began cracking and fell apart.

Once the pillar fell apart, it could be seen that Anomaly himself was within it. The Anomaly within the cracked pillar reached his own hand out and touched Anomaly's hand, causing them to combine and fuse into one being. Anomaly closed his eyes as this happened, causing a flash of light to appear and wash over him.

 

Outside of his mind, Anomaly's body grew with spiritual energy, and it burst from him, turning his body a dark bluish color. He screamed from the pain and energy that was moving through his body, but then he stopped screaming, not wanting to frighten everyone around him. Eventually, the dark blue aura of energy surrounding him faded from his body and he fell to the ground, a little exhausted. "Thank you." he said as he looked back up at Kong.

 

OOC: This was basically Anomaly unlocking his latent abilities with spiritual energy in order to control it better. He can now create clones of himself from energy in the same way he does with animals. The clones will be for scouting, fighting, as well as for seeing things he himself can't see and linking information. He can also blast out more powerful energy attacks as well as channel his own energy to other people to give them energy when they need it.

Sharon and Necra watched as Anomaly received his power up. It seemed painful, like hers was, though she was sure that he was able to gain something greater than he had before, which will help in the fight against Ignis. She really felt confident now that Kong is taking the time to help unlock everyone's potential.

 

Necra walked over to Selene as she approached Kong, since that body was the one everyone was familiar with, ironically. "Don't let all the screaming scare you, it's worth it," she said, smiling. Meanwhile, Sharon was busy summoning and unsumming her shortsword repeatedly in the corner, grinning all the while.

 

Having two bodies is really useful. I can do things twice as fast!

"Kong knows that this will hurt me, But he knows that there is no other way to power me up. Well, that is besides these bracelets," Tiberius said looking at the bracelets. "But the thing is that these only give me a really small boost. Kong knows healing techniques, so I should be fine as far as that. I just hope it wasn't like my power harnessing."

Derven stood back and watched. Sharon now had two body's and now he recognised the other body as Necra's, One of the many lackeys Ignus had. He was going to turn me into one. I barely escaped. He thought to himself before turning artound to see the new new guy Anomaly practising his new powers, summoning and resummoning clones of himself. Kris was patient but was really excited as what his new power might be...and about the things he would see.

Anomal stood up slowly and cautiously. He was a little tired after that. Anomaly again thanked Kong and then began walking away. If he wanted to keep this mastery over his new powers, he would have to meditate and learn to use them. He went and sat against the wall away from the others. He didn't really want them to know of all of his powers. He closed his eyes as he sat down and then got into a meditative position. He held his hands on his knees and then began focusing, drowning out everything around him so that he could meditate on his new powers. He would be ready when it was time to face Ignis.

OOC: Sorry i've not been posting like last time. I've had school.

 

IC:

"Death?" He thought. "If that happenes to Tiberius, I can be freer. But, that might put my body at risk." He looked down at his arm. "I wonder, If I get this , I might have faster reflexes, stronger metal, or more coverage. But, it might kill me. I'm going to be one of the last to go." He looked over at Necra and Sharon. "THAT is schesophrenia to the max." He then looked at Anomaly, the new-comer. "He has some serious power. Might have to keep my eyes on him for a partner in my job." He then looked at Selean and Tiberius. He saw that gidines all to much. "Hmm, that might pose a problem in morals."

Selene stepped forward to be prepared by Kong.

She smiled at him but then relaxed her body, but created a mind screen just in case Kong was looking. She nodded to the rest of them and then stepped closer.

She wondered what it was going to feel like. Leona had powered her with the touch of cool water. She wondered what light orbs was going to feel like.

"Ahh, Mistress Leona's student is ready for the power boost. Well come stand in front and I shall grant it," Kong said. As he did before with the other two, Kong holds his hands in front of Selene and begins chanting in his ancient Latin language.

 

Tiberius looks on for Selene's power boost with awe. *I'll be next.* Tiberius thinks to himself. *I'll just have to endure the pain.*

Selene closed her eyes and let herself float away.

In her trance, she saw a temple and Leona was standing in front of her. POP! More people she knew appeared in front of her. POP! Even more. Tiberius at the front, grinning, then her parents, then Leona in the middle still, then others she remembered.

She sighed internally and faced them.

She tried to fly but couldn't.

How can I do this? she asked herself.

She concentrated on her inside soul as if she was meditating. Suddenly she was looking into a dark void. She saw a small ball of light inside shaped almost like afeather. She outstretched her arm and touched it. Her vision exploded in a bright flash of light and then she was back to the reality, slightly disoriented. She tried to fly and shot upwards, almost blasting a hole in the ceiling but saved it just in time. She gently flew back towards the wood floor.

"Wow." she breathed. "It worked!"

She smiled at Tiberius but then frowned Worriedly. "I suppose you're next..." she said reluctantly as she watched him step forward.

"Yeah, I'm next," Tiberius says with a grimace. Tiberius hugs Selene and then goes to stand in front of Master Kong.

Master Kong sighes and says, "I'm sorry I have to do this again pupil."

Tiberius nods his head. "I'm ready" Kong puts his hands out and starts to Chant. Tiberius is then pulled into the mindscape where there is his element, fire all around. Tiberius then notices a shadow version of himself preforming all the new techniques he learned, including a very draining fire version of the kamehameha. Then he is transported back to the room they we all in. Tiberius looks around and sees the light still around him. All of a sudden the attacks started. At once his body felt like it was being ripped apart. *No, Not again.* Tiberius thinks as he grabs the spot over his heart. *Gotta fight it. For Selene sake* Tiberius then starts coughing up blood. Then Tiberius screams out in pain. "AAAArrgggh," Tiberius screams as the light dissipates from around him and Tiberius falls down onto his knees then on his stomach. Blood spews out along the way. As his body hits the floor, Tiberius coughs up more blood and then smiles a mysterious smile.

 

Kong beside himself watches his pupil fall. Kong uses his spiritual energy to lift Tiberius up onto a mat in the same room and puts him there.

Sharon noticed that Selene was a bit reluctant to let Tiberius upgrade. Her Necra body approached the two and smiled.

 

"He'll be *fine*, he's the one who brought us together, after all," Necra said, trying to keep upbeat. She overheard Tiberius speak about potentially dying when getting his upgrade. While she was prepared to take on Ignis, even alone, she wasn't sure if the others, especially Selene, would be able to continue on.

 

Necra then turned to Tiberius. "I'm sure you're prepared, so get your upgrade already." She was still smiling, trying to keep the worst case scenario out of her head.

 

As the ritual took place, Sharon watched on as Tiberius was writhing in pain, coughing up blood. She didn't wince or look away, since he was trusting enough to let her join the group, she would watch on, and do what she could to help. At the end, when Tiberius seemed to be alive, Sharon couldn't help but smile. "See?"

"No!' screamed Selene as she watched the painful happenings.

"Why does he do that?" she asked Kong urgently as he worked on Tiberius. She paced in anxiety. "Will he live? Is he alright?" she plagued Kong with questions. "i am sorry but I am just worried about him..." she said.

Kong looked toward the girl and smile a serene smile that came from ages of experience. "Yes my pupil will be fine. He is tired though and will need rest. The power boost overwelmed his body. As you can tell, My pupil has no home, hence he has always hunted for his food and know various tribes of wolves. The unlocking of his power was much worse. He will need to rest for tonight. Tomorrow, he shall be ready for the journey. You may speak with him now if you wish." With that Kong left the two alone to help others with their power boost.

 

Tiberius was diving in and out at what Kong was saying. Tiberius view straighten when Selene came into view. He smiled at her.
