Hogwarts RP: Quidditch Championship

Blake left the cariage and slowly walked up the stairs after thw two

"Time for another sorting ceremony" he said as his mind wandered over to some Beaxbaton students he continued up to the professor

"Name" he aked him

"Blake Andrews Professor" he said as he continued into the castle following the other two he turned around

"Zach! you coming" he said coming to a halt

Zach got up and checked in. He was having a flashback, not about a bad event but the one person he will never forget in the orphanage. Her name was Sarah she was 5" 3' and had black hair. She was Filipino and one of his best friends. He had started to like her but she turned him down for 5 years. Then she got adopted

OoC: Guys seriously, I don't wanna see this locked, it's not that hard to add a little length is it? Personally, I just describe emotions, rattle on in any vaguely relevent way to lengthen posts. It's not that hard at all.

 

IC: Chandelle smiled at the sight of a tall, muscular boy, he was strapping, but Chandelle wasn't interested in that, He was clearly a Quidditch player, Probably a beater, he'd be a challenge, and he hadn't noticed her until just now, but he was hand in hand with a smallish girl she was thin, with shortish brown hair, Chandelle estimated that she was a chaser, slightly older then her sisters, and probably stiff competition. Maybe Hogwarts would be more challenging then she thought. Chandelle debated approaching the couple, deciding against it.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Angus spotted a girl looking him up and down, she wore the Beaubaxtons uniform, she was a ravishing beauty, but he wouldn't let himself fall for her, they made a brief eye-contact and Angus pointed over to her,

"Honey, it looks like you might have been right about Beaubaxtons!" he laughed, he wasn't sure what she wanted, and he didn't really care, he was spoken for.

Alyssa nodded stiffly, feeling a rush of jealously but she pushed it away. She was angry at herself for even letting the smallest hint of a girl looking at Angus anger her.

She smiled at Angus, trying to look genuine. "So can't wait for the sorting this year...well actually that really doesn't make sense..." she said thinking jumbled thoughts out loud. "We arent' really going to hold quidditch tryouts this year, we're using the teams from last year for the sake of time." she smiled. "But there's going to be so many new faces, so many crowded hallways!"

[Skarlet]

"Are you okay?" He gathered that Alyssa must have taken the girls staring at him the wrong way.

"I don't feel that way about her, I love you." He pulled her into a tight, loving hug, he was sure on this. He wouldn't let this beaubaxtos girl shake them, they'd been solid for a year now, why should that have to change?

"We should get up to the sorting now. It's interesting, this year it's not just new first years, we'll also be sitting classes with the other two schools."

If one were to look carefully, one would see an elderly man in Durmstrang robes, accompanied by several students in the same uniform entering the Groundskeeper's hut, the Groundskeeper as they would have known, is off attending to the first year students.

Chandelle saw that the girl who had been with the tall boy had frozen when seeing her, assuming that her natural charm had obviously gotten to the boy, who she wasn'r interested in at all, she thought it might be a good idea to appologise to the girl. She would however wait until her boyfriend wasn't around, to avoid the argument that the statement "You don't really love me, you're just magically attracted to me." usually causes. She started to move up to the castle, she'd heard that the first night of any Hogwarts term is a magnificent occasion.

Alyssa nodded, happy again. "Sorry for jumping to conclusions like that it's just that I haven't seen you for three months!" they walked together into the great hall. "Tell me your schedule after the feast!" said Alyssa, waving goodbye to go sit at the Gryffindor table. She looked around and saw that there were now eight tables but she saw the scarlet-clad gryffindors waving at her. She said hi and waited for the feast to start.

Blake felt like he was in paradise having to be snapped out of gazes with Beaxbaton students, although he eventually caught up to the other two

"Hey guys" he said half dreamy

"Shall we get to the sorting and see where the first years are going, if spend any more time here I might end up having heart attack" he sort of laughed at the last sentence and realised he had been day dreaming again

"sorry bout that I'm a bit out of it maybe I'll be better when we get something to eat, I'm a bit hungry"

Alyssa saw Blake and waved at him, noting that he was in Ravenclaw. She looked for Zach; she jokingly had the image of him talking to a crowd of Beauxbaton girls. She saw most of the older boys at the Gryffindor table staring over at the nearest Beaxbaton table, nearly drooling. She looked over at Angus but he was talking to another Ravenclaw.

"It's fine, don't worry about it." He gave Alyssa a genuine smile, it was completly normal for her to be worried. after all if it was her being looked up and down by some boy, he would probably have reacted similarly himself.

The couple reached the great hall, still hand in hand.

"Ah, parting is such sweet sorrow." He said dramatically, realising that they were to be seated on seperate sides of the room.

"Adieu, my beloved."

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Chandelle had also filed into the hall, she saw the pair kissing and was glad to know that her charm had not infact struck the boy. In the hall however, many of them were effected, male students from both Hogwarts and Durnstrang turned thier heads, they followed the girl with thier eyes as she took her seat. many of them continued to stair after that. Chandelle smiled, there were times when she loved doing this.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

The sorting ceremony came to a close, 150 students had found thier houses tonight, some of them were well recived, some of them were mocked. But they'd all found thier 'families' within the school.

 

Professor [Headmaster from dragonofdarkness101's RP] stood up, it was time to deliver the headmaster's adress.

"Ladies and gentlment!-" He paused, his raspy voice indicating that he had a sore throat, "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another exciting year at Hogwarts School of Witchcrafr and Wizardry! After the events of last year, we have many new staff members who will be releaving the old. The first of this is Professor Greenstalk who will be taking over the position of Primary Herbology professor in the absense of Professor Weed. Next, we have a new potions master, releaving professor Locksley of his duties, ladies and gentlement, please welcome Professor Grimdrop!" A woman of medium hight with obviously dyed black hair, which orignally seemed to be red got to her feet and waved to the students, she recived a small round of applause.

Alyssa clapped along with the rest of the students. At least that horrific Locksley wasn't coming back. She smiled. She waited for the headmaster to clap his hands and summon each of the students' schedules to appear on the table. She couldn't wait to see if she had classes with Angus or not. Being in the OWL year she wasn't sure if she had classes with the NEWT students.

OoC: Coming in late for storyline purposes, my character was doing other stuff I aranged with Yae.

 

Vladimir walked into the ceremony late sticking to the shadows taking a seat at his table and whispering to a few students around him

 

Blake clapped but still couldn't wait for the feast he was hungry he hadn't eaten much and as he looked around he thought about how the older students in Beaxbatons and Durmstrang would spend there last year at hogwarts he looked back up at the headmaster and noticed that the groundskeeper wasnt there he thought he was off getting ready for the year as he relaxed back ready for a nice and calm year a head he had friends a quidditch tournement what else was needed

The headmaster seemed content with the applause that Grimdrop had been given, he motioned for her to take her seat, and so she did.

"In addition to new Hogwarts staff and students, there are many other people I would like you all to join me in welcoming. Ladies and Gentmen, The girls of the Beaubaxtons Academy of Magic, and thier headmistress Madam Labeaux (Pronounced La-bow). The beaubaxtons students all got to thier feet, aknowledging the greating, and thier headmistress stood up from a chair identical to the headmaster's own. The male students everywhere gave the girls a massive ovation, with much less enthusiasm coming from thier female counterparts.

Angus who had clapped and cheered loudly for Grimdrop, knowing that Locksley wouldn't be returning did not however applaud the Beaubaxtons girls, he turned instead to Alyssa and gave her a nod, symbolising that she was the only one for him. He then blew her a kiss and smiled to her.

Theheadmaster then clapped his hands and schedules appeared on their table places. Alyssa selected hers. Tomorrow she had Potions first, then DADA, then a break, then Transfiguration, then lunch, then Herbology, then Astronomy. She smiled at Angus, mouthed "tell you later" then turned her attention back to the headmaster.

She smiled, the year was going to be great!

Angus quickly selected his Schedual. Transfiguration first, Then Potions, a break, DADA, Lunch Charms, then herbology. Tommorow wouldn't be a bad day, He hoped that his free time would line up well with Alyssa's. They really didn't get to spend the amount he thought and hoped he would have. But this year would be different. This year was going to be special, magical.

 

-Headmaster-

 

"Now that I have the scheduals out of the way, I would like to introduce The pround Sons of Durmstrang, and thier Headmaster Sergei Petrov!" The durmstrang students stood up, they didn't recive a single clap as thier headmaster compelled the gaze of all students in the room, he had short black hair, he was very tall and thin, he had a puckered scar crossing his left eye, which looked glassy and unmoving. his other eye had a strange and intimidating stare. he glared out into the crowd, many students seemed visibly uncomfortable witnessing this man's presence.

The headmaster, senseing that he wouldn't get any applause out of his students once again began to speak.

"Thankyou Mr. Petrov! Now! Our schools have come together to compete, to form bonds, to make friends, and to compete for superiority! The three schools will engage in a grand Qudditch tournament begining as early as tommorow, and ending with the grand final match on the final day of term!" The students cheered this idea enthusiastically.

"Now.." Wheezed the headmaster "Let the feast begin!"

With that copious amounts of food simply appeared on the tables, hungry students snatched up plates and mugs, generously serving themselves.

Petr walked up forward with the students and took a place with the Slytherins' seeing Vladimir he thiught of moving beside him, but he decided not to. He was just taking a look around to see the Beauxbatons students were walking in. This year will be a year that nobody will see coming. Petr thought stil looking at the Beauxbatons students, then returned to earth.

Zach grabbed his schedule. First he had potions then care of magical creatures, then break, defence against the dark arts. He looked around for allysa or angus to compare sechudules. It was so incredibly crowded in the great hall with the two new schools it would be impossible to find anyone. He pulled his wand out and twirrled it between his fingers.

Alyssa saw Zach and switched seats so she would end up next to him. "So what does your schedule have?" she asked instantly, glad for company of someone she actually knew.

She waited for the feast to start, her stomach was making loud noises. The Beauxbaton students were looking at her critically. She wanted to strangle their perfect necks until they turned away. She was glad she had a boyfriend already.

"Well first I have potions then care of magical creatures and then break. After those I have defence against the dark arts and then I'm done for the day. What about you, what's your schedule like." zach says leaning back waiting for one hogwart's excelent welcoming feasts. He was hungry after that long train ride to the station and back to hogwarts.

Alyssa smiled. She had forgotten to read the COMC class she had at the end, her finger had been covering it. "I have Potions first, then DADA, then a break, then Transfiguration, then lunch, then Herbology, then Astronomy, and lastly COMC." she smiled at Zach, glad they would have at least some classes together.

The headmaster clapped his hands once again and the food was served.

Alyssa loaded up on roast chicken and potatoes and a salad. her favorate.

Juliana sat down at the Gryffindor table, happy to be back at Hogwarts. She ate the food on her plate. Asian curry, one of her favorites. She smiled as she began to eat happily, her mind wandering around Hogwarts, looking at the students from Beauxbaton, and the students from Durmstrang. Juliana thought about Beauxbaton, what it would be like, but flushed the thoughts away. Hogwarts was better. Hogwarts was the best school of wizardry.

Alyssa smiled at the new girl next to her. "Hi, I'm Alyssa." She said cheerfully. "Who're you?" she continued to eat her chicken and potatoes, noticing some french delicacies appear at the table as well as some Bulgarian ones. "Hm. It isn't as if the foreigners came here to only eat their own food." she said, noticing them.

"Hello, I'm Juliana. Nice to meet you Alyssa." She said, smiling. She ate the curry on her plate, and looked at the foreign food Alyssa pointed out. "Wouldn't they want to try food here, instead of having the same thing?" Juliana said as she continued to eat. "You're on Gryffindor, aren't you?" Juliana said, looking at Alyssa.

Zach found some spagethi and meatballs and took some of those. These were his favorite. He also took some pineapple and sweet potatoes. He was glad to find all of his faveorites. He took his cup and filled it with fresh spring water. He was glad to be among friends once again after a long summer. The only notable thing he did that summer was bring his patronus to this level.

Alyssa laughed a little at that. "yeah, you can see the robes, and the table we're sitting at." she laughed and then smiled. "Good to meet you. Over there, that's my boyfriend." she pointed at Angus and then said it a little louder than she needed to so that the Beauxbaton girls eyeing him with interest stopped and went back to chatting with themselves. She smield at Juliana. "So what does your schedule look like?" she showed her her own.

"Almost the same," Juliana said, comparing hers to Alyssas. I have COMC when you have break, and when you have COMC I have Astronomy, and when you have Astronomy, I have break." Juliana said, looking at Alyssa's and her own schedule, making sure she had gotten it right. "I'm part veela, are you pure-blood, half-blood, or Muggle born?" Juliana inquired, finishing her food.
