Trapped

Taryn looekd around, confused. Wasn't she supposed to be at home, with her family? It was her turn to fold the laundry. She looked around again. She saw men in white lab coats looking at her, whispering to one another. Taryn remembered now. They had taken her, kidnapped her, from her family. She was wandering around after her school, and some guy in black take you from your home.

"Hey...i have no clue where we are but i just got told that im the leader of the rebels and something like that...its so weird cause i have no clue what just happened oh and BTW im Britney" .Britney said as she waved sincerily to JOey as if she were at a club and some random drunk guy had said hi to her. "So whats up with these Bracelets i mean what are they for and its pretty confusing why we have them on....You think their gonna try to kill us" .Britney said unkowingly hugging Joey then backing away. "Sorry i just hug people when i get really scared" .Britney said blushing uncontroalably.

I couldn't feel my legs, hands, or anything else. I couldn't see either. I tried moving, but I couldn't.

"What the hell is going on....?!" I thought. Then I heard a voice near me.

"This one we gave the multiplication serum. We haven't tested it yet though,"

It was a deep voice, probably an old man.

"Alright, put him in the test area," said another voice, obviously a female. I felt something grab me and start dragging me...

 

I slowly opened my eyes to an empty room. There were 3 other girls in it, none of them looked familiar.

"W-...What? What's going on?" I said quietly.

"Hey there Sleeping Beauty, you awake yet?" The girl closest to me asked.

"H-...Hey...where am I?" I asked still in a daze. The girl shrugged.

"I dunno, we've been just sitting here for hours." The girl responded looking around. I looked around too. There was a girl, about my age, sitting in the corner rocking back and forth. There was an older girl, 20 perhaps, sitting against the wall with her eyes closed. The girl I was talking to looked a little older than me, 18 or 19.

"So, what happened...?"

The last thing Cyrus remembered was getting hit with a blunt object. When he finally came to, he saw a bunch of lab-coated men whispering. he cuaght the words "Bookworm" and "rose." He glared at them, and noticed he wasn't the only one being examined. A girl, brown hair, chocolate eyes. "Hello." He said, as if he did this everyday. "You have any clue what's going on?"

[Kaisu]

Kaisu woke up inside a tent, and as he opened his eyes, and knew something was wrong. He looked at his arm, to make sure he wasn't mutated or anything, and he saw the bracelet. He had two colors, a transparent white, and green. He got up, but fell back down, and in that moment, he saw the green change to red, then blue. As Kaisu pondered on this, it changed back to green. It reminded him of a mood ring.

 

Judai woke up soon after, the sound of crashing waking her up. She saw the braclet, also with two colors. One was yelow, and the other was changing color, slowly turning into one color before jumping to another color. She tilted her head, confused, but decided to find out where she was. A guard was about to throw her back into her tent, but paused, and stepped back to where he originally was. She looked around.

 

There were hundreds of tents, and due to the lack of light and the smell, she geussed she was underground. She saw that there where metal poles in the tents, and grinned as a pole on another tent was suddenly filled with 50,000 volts, melting some of the fabric.

ooC:ATTENTION whenever you want your powers to get started your character gets sick then their powers activate ok so just rmember that and dont randomly go using your powers without explination.

 

Britney was taken by a guard and pushed into Judai's tent with such force she fell down. "HEY WATCH IT WILL YA" .She yelled to the guard about to attack him but keeping her temper cool. "Hey person my name's Britney and im..." .Britney said as she then got closer to Judai and said overly quietly "The leader of the rebels and dont yell or they'll kill me" .Britney said she then backed up and sat down at one edge of the tent and she began holding her stomach . "Ughhh i dont feel so good" .Britney said to Judai holding her stomach tightly.

Taryn looked at the boy who had spoken. "Are you talking to me? If you are, then, no. I don't know what the frick is going on. I was just dragged here, then I remember trying to fight back, and... I don't really remember anything after that. They probably hit me with a sleeping dart or something." Taryn said, glaring at the scientists "studying" them.

[Compass]

"I don't know what gives them the right to do this." Cyrus. "And yes, I certainly wouldn't be talking to the stupid Scientist." He glared at them. "I think they've injected us with something." He grabbed his left arm, feeling a throbbing pain there. "Probably some sort of shot. What do you say of trying to get out of here? By the way, I'm Cyrus Des Vries." He held out his hand for a handshake, a friendly gesture.

[Silver]

"No, it's fine..." Silver began, watching Britney get dragged back into her tent. He walked back to his own tent, his head filling with thoughts. He sat down and took his notepad from his pocket, writing all over it. "All of these people are about the same age, come from the same area, but have nothing else in common. We all have no idea what we're doing here. That is what connects us."

He couldn't take it any more. He was looking at imprisonment for life, or death.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH US!" he cried.

Suddenly, he felt ill.

They dropped me on the floor like a rag doll. Then I heard this zipping noise, and I could see a faint light. I felt them pulling me up and start to untie me. A few seconds later they took off what I later found out to be a blindfold. My eyes hurt at the light, it took a second for them to get used to it.

"Hello Wred, my name is Dr. Drew," said the deep voiced man.

"Who are you?!" I bursted out. "What am I doing here?! Where's Anali!?!"

They looked at eachother suspicously.

"We are medical scientists, on the verge of a sceintific break-through," said the female.

"We have been studying the effects of our...'potions' on small children, hoping to see that they can work for adults," continued Dr. Drew.

"Potions?" I said slowly. I felt a slight twitch in my stomach, and I grunted.

"You'll soon find out," said the female. Then they both walked out. I looked around. It was a plain white room, like a dentist's office. There was nothing in it, except for the bed I was sitting on and the door. My stomach twitched again, and I held it.

"What the hell is going on here...."

Silver blocked his ears, shocked. These thoughts were not his, but his head was swimming with thousands of different words and emotions. He staggered outside, and bumped into a guard.

"Hey kid, watch it!" shouted the guard. What time is it? I really need to get home...

"It's 8:22." said Silver, not knowing which voice was real.

"Did I ask you for the time?" asked the guard, first confused and then angry. "Come with me, you freak!"

And with that, the guard grabbed Silver, and dragged him towards the doors leading to the lab.

"Enter"

The guard pushed Silver to a chair, and Silver observed his surroundings. The lab was polished white, and the desks were filled with computers. The shiny surfaces gave it a futuristic view, however Silver was focusing on a certain piece of paper with his name on it. All it had was: "Joey Silver, 17, C4-H12-8AG5-IL2-N2"

Being quite the chemist, Silver knew that the code was a mixture of hydrogen, ileum and gold. But why?

"Joey, is it?" said a man in a white coat, looking hungrily at Silver. "My name is Lans Hutfelt."

Silver examined Hutfelt. He had an arched back, and yet he looked about 30. He wore huge glasses, and his teeth shot out in all directions. Silver shuddered.

"You must be feeling very ill, oh yes" quavered Hutfelt, sitting at his desk. "You're the first mind reader here, we're very pleased."

"Mind reader?" asked Silver, however he was not surprised. "You injected my brain with a liquid compound of hydrogen, ileum, carbon, nitrogen and... gold. The scientific name should be carbon ilenitrohydrate-gold, but it's got a more used name, hasn't it? PowerTrigger."

Hutfelt cackled, glaring at Silver.

"My my, and I wasn't going to tell you that part! But yes, we've found out the scientific formula for PowerTrigger!" he stopped to breathe. "PowerTrigger is a chemical that boosts brain and body singles, depending on the chemical alloyed with it. We mixed yours with gold, but we've done it with potassium, oxygen and many other chemicals, to produce other effects!"

"But you've done something wrong, doctor" said Silver, feeling his head. "Even if I can block out the thoughts of other people, I can hear something. At first, I thought it was my imagination, but I still hear it here, just as loud as where I heard it from my tent."

Silver stood up, facing the doctor.

"Taryn Knight, nice to meet you." Taryn said, shaking Cyrus' hand. She rubbed her arm, and saw the metalic-silver bracelet. "What the heck are these bracelets for?" Taryn said, looking at the bracelet strangley. "But we probably were shot with something, it probably makes us unable to use our powers or something, so we can't rip their heads off." Taryn said, sighing. "By the way, what's you power? I can excel in combat."

Nikun was sitting in her room, which happened to be surrounded by a certain kind of crystal, Isolated from everyone else. She was a Strange person, Preferring Deals over Violence, She already had many Shots and even had an IV in her Arm containing a strange Black Chemical. She looked around and around as her vision started to blur, Getting worse by the second, And Suddenly, She was on the floor shaking Violently as she went into a seizure. About 5 Scientists had to Hold her down and give her some kind of Medicine, when suddenly, All she heard was a ringing in the ears that was so high pitched, She couldn't hear anything else..........

"Nice to meet you, too...and powers? What are you talking about? They don't exist." He sighed. "These bracelets...they feel like a cattle branding. As if we're cows, just waiting to be milked or slaughtered." He shuddered, and looked at Taryn closely. "You don't look like one for combat, but I'm not a very good judge. I spend more then half my life behind the covers of a book." He smiled to finish up his string of emotions.

Nikun started to scream as she felt so much pain all over her body. One of the Scientists injected something in her and said "It's okay Gatekeeper, It'll be alright...". She wondered 'Gatekeeper? why are they using that name' When she looked at her arm, Shehad not one, but 2 armbands, One Purple, That was Engraved "Gatekeeper, 21, Na12-Cs3-Cl6-C24-Il3-Bd4 + Th", The Second, however was Silver-ish and was Engraved "Nikun Chakuko, 21, Au6-Hg7-Il3-Cs1-I2". She knew What most of them were, but she had to ask why was she Autistic (> Making a reference about my case of autism <), and why she had Extremely Reactive Metals in her. she was about to open her mouth to ask, only to find that she lost even her Voice.......

There was a moment of silence.

 

"If you're not going to be straight with me, then you're wasting my time." Silver said coldly, about to leave the lab. "Goodbye, doctor."

The doctor rose from his desk, almost tripping over. "Wait, let me explain!" he called.

Silver stopped walking, and looked at the doctor. He knew that whatever the doctor was going to tell him, it would be true, and important. Satisfied, he returned to his seat and awaited an explanation.

"This project has been my life, it has consumed me for years. It's the ultimate breakthrough in science. So great it could create a new world, or cure cancer!" Doctor Statfelt paused, taking a deep breath. "I showed the government my findings, and they let me in on a big secret. A large nuclear waste plant was found in Iran's capital recently, and I'm not talking litres here. Kilolitres of nuclear energy, enough to destroy... countries."

Doctor Statfelt stood up, and went to the window near the lab. Silver watched intently. Doctor Statfelt continued.

"Now, Iran may have had the resources to win a war against us, but they lacked the soliders. So we thought we were safe. But then, the worst happened." Statfelt looked blankly at Silver. "Russia allied with Iran."

Silver stood up, shocked. "If Russia and Iran ally, along with those amounts of nuclear waste, we're looking at a war..."

Statfelt shook his head sadly.

"Correct, we would be doomed. So I was asked to develop my formula to produce superhuman strength, or distort the body in a way that gave it superpowers, so I made a formula. It was successful after the second attempt. My first attempt killed the person I used it on..."

He stopped, and when he continued talking, his voice seemed choked.

"I didn't have any children to test it on" he said, a tear falling from his eye. "So I had to use my own child."

I stared him in the eye, and he said it.

"I killed my son"

However, Ryo is about to make a very strange return...

Nikun Freaked out as she found out she had lost her voice. She tried to get up, but her body failed to move. Suddenly, She went into a Coma.......

 

Several hours later, She woke up in a large yet strange room Filled with some kind of Crystal. She started to rub her eyes to find her hands were different, They were Much softer than they were before. She grabbed a Mirror and found that she had taken on a Different form. She was about to Freak when a scientist came up to her. He said "Now now Gatekeeper, Everything's gonna be alright...."......

I sat there for what seemed like hours. My stomach had been hurting for a while, but it was probably cause I was hungry. I hadn't eaten anything today, or whatever day it is. I remembered what the male scientist had said...

"We gave him the multiplication serum..."

Multiplication obviously meant multiplying, thats like 2nd grade stuff. But a multiplication serum? What is that? Then I heard this loud booming noise;

"Wred, please attempt to move to the other side of the room without using your muscles," it said.

"What?" I said startled.

"Please try to move to the other side of the room, without the aid of your muscles" the voice said again. I thought I was imagining things, but I had nothing else to do. I tried thinking of ways to move without actually moving. I tried just staring at the other side of the room. I thought I saw a small blue line, but again, I was imagining things. I tried and tried. I'm really smart and probably could have thought of a way to do it, but I wasn't myself. I was hungry, tired, thristy, and had a headache and a stomach ache. Suddenly, I saw the blue line again, only this time it was moving. Then another one appeared, and another. Soon there was a ball-shaped object where I was staring at. I looked at it, amazed. The ball started to grow, taking the form of a human being. Then the colors came in, black, orange, blue. All the colors I was wearing...

The human-shaped lines kepting going like this for about 5 minutes. Suddenly, the ball started to look like...well, me! It had my hair, my clothes, and my dorky smile. I...I had cloned myself!

The Scientist was startled and Ran out the room Screaming as Nikun Bent the Boundary between Dream and Reality, Revealing the Scientist's worst nightmare. Nikun then put both hand on her face Crying

Cyrus flinched. That was odd...It felt like somebody...broke something...like the baqrrier of reality and imagination. He sighed, and pulled out the only book he had, THe aLchemist, and read to himself. " Sophie spun the whip above her head, scattering liquid silver in every dierection. "Let me give you a taste of what I can do..." The whip crakled as she approached. " Suddenly, the whip from the book appeared in the hands of his prison-mate, the brown-eyed girl. Cyrus looked at the whip, surprized. "So, this is the power you where talking about?" He smiled. "I like it. Now get us out of here."

Kenny is dropped within view of Cyrus, Kenny unconscious and the one that brang him there turning and leaving not noticing any others. Kenny wakes up looking over to the side towards Cyrus. "woah.. what happenned? he asks then sitting up "and what is that exactly for?" he asks looking at the whip. Kenny then backs away not sure what to think of the two nearby one holding a book the other a whip. Kenny then notices the cell-like area he was in was seperated from another one they were in. he then goes up to the bars "hey why are we in here?" he asks quietly.

"Don't ask me, go ask your mother. Both of us don't have a clue, exepet it has something to do with powers." He sighed. "It seems she exells in fighting, while I'm able to bring things to life out of books."

Kenny looks up "powers? wow seems weird". Kenny leans back against the bars of the cell then feeling sick clutching his stomach. "oh man i really dont feel that well" he says holding his gut then teleporting landing on the outside of them and falling over backwards. "wow that was umm.. weird" he says looking up at Cyrus, "so i guess mines teleporting?". Kenny than stands looking around, "so who do i have to go after around here to get the keys and which way..? or whre you guys unconscious when you got chucked in too?" he asks quietly.

Side-effects: Loses control and becomes a mindless killing machine that lusts for blood.

Seal: Tsukune's power is Sealed by a chain on his right arm called a Holy Lock. As long as the Holy Lock remains in place, he can control himself and his power and use it at will. If the Holy Lock is taken off, or if he uses too much of his power, his Ghoul side comes out.

Before being kidnapped and experimented on Tsukune was a simple student. He went to school everyday, but he had no friends and his famliy were all dead. The government chose him because of two reasons: First was that he had no family to worry about when they took him; Second was that he already knew how to fight, and he was damn good at it. Because of the experiments Tsukune degenerated and gained a second personality, monstrously powerful, blood thirsty being who wanders mindlessly as a killing machine. They found that for some reason when they put the Holy Lock on him he became himself again and that he could still use his power, but that if her used his power too much or for too long he'd re-degenerate into his Ghoul. He joined the rebels because although he had nothing before the government took him they had no right to do to the people what they did. They turned him into a monster, now he wants to unleash that monster on them.

Tsukune was walking down the street to the place he called home when he noticed a pair of men in bland suits following him. He wasn't completely sure they were following him until he turned to take a shortcut that would lead him home faster. As he took the turn around a column he started running, the 'suits' didn't notice until they rounded the corner, then they sprinted after him while calling for backup. Tsukune smirked, he'd just lured them into a trap, this area was him home turf there was no way that he'd lose a fight here. He disappeared behind a pile of scrap and when one of the 'suits' walked around it he attacked, he clipped the man's temple bringing him down instantly. The second man saw him and charged, *A frontal attack? How pathetic." Tsukune jumped up and over the man's head, but as he went over he hooked the man's neck with his legs and tossed him at the scrap heap. Tsukune was back on his feet in seconds and looked to see the second man get up shakily, *What the heck is this? Someone's sending amateurs after me! I'll end this quickly.* The second man charged Tsukune againn only to get hit in the face by a typical telephone punch, and get knocked out.

 

Tsukune turned away from the two unconciuos men wiping his hands, *How sad, they were dressed like professionals and yet they fought like amateurs. Oh well time to move on.* He turned to walk out of the area and saw that there were at least ten more men standing in a line looking at him. *Oh crap, I spoke too soon.* They all came at him and he turned to run only to find another six men behind him, *Dammit! They encircled me while I took down the other two!* As they closed in around him Tsukune smiled, *Well this sucks.* Then he was struck unconscious.
