Alyssa nodded cheerfully to jake and then continued on to look for the elusive Nightcrawler. She saw Kenny. "yeah, that would be awesome." she said. "Can't really find him, he's really elusive..." she said.

"Just having a little bit of training with him." she said.

Kenny looks at Alyssa and points the the blue guy in the tree who then bamps away leaving blue smoke. "umm.. that was Nightcrawler i was with.." he says quietly then Grabbing Alyssa similar to hugging and teleports within seconds appearing in a room in the mansion letting go. "well, here you are.. by the way what kind of training could you be doing with Nightcrawler, i mean he's teleportation..".

"Fighting." she replied as she stepped out of Kenny's arms. "Thanks." she walked up to the nightcrawler and the lesson began. She wanted to learn how to be agile while fighting. The Nightcrawler showed her stealth and wisdom as they sparred together.

After an hour, the lesson was over at Alyssa was breathless.

"Thank you, sir." she bowed shortly chinese style.

She walked back to her dorms.

OOC: I keep getting more and more confused every time i read another post.

 

IC: Zak was in the Danger room and he put in a few settings so that he could fight a Sentinel. "Lets test this new morph." He said as the room started up & a Sentinel appeared. Zak's skin started to change & he grew in size greatly, the changes continued until he was a T-rex. He charged at the giant robot & with the force of the charge he threw it in to a wall & created a hole in the wall.

OOC: not sure. It's supposedly late afternoon so maybe we could speed things up a bit...

 

IC: Alyssa checked her watch. Wow, it was six already. Time for dinner...

She made a last ice sculpture of Jake's head and put it on her desk. She would know if anyone entered her room and saw the sculpture in which case she would make it dissolve into a mere puddle of water.

She sighed and trudged down to the mess hall, hoping to see Jake or Kenny there already.

Jake had already started nomming on the food. They hadn't brought out the main course yet, so he hadn't started stuffing his face, which he usually did so he could train sooner. He was eating some chicken when he noticed Alyssa walk in. "Yo!" he called waving his arms to get her attention. "How was Nightcrawler?"

Kenny sat across from Jake looking up at her, waving his arm slightly "hey" he said as he was closer to her then Jake. Kenny looked down at his food for a second then back up, the food already gone as he waited for her to notice. "Jake, you do know you didn't have to yell right in my ear right?" he asks quietly looking back at Jake.

Alyssa sat down. "Nightcrawler was fine, he just taught me to fight with stealth and ice." she smiled at both of them and then started eating (nomming?) her food. "This place's food is good." she said lamely as she searched for something else to talk about. "Anyways what did you do while I had my lesson with Nightcrawler?" she asked, finally having something else to talk about.

"Nuthin' much," Jake replied, taking some more meat and eating it, ignoring Kenny's request. "Just thinking of some new moves I could try out." His father had gotten thinking, just what were his powers, and to what extent could he use them to? Suddenly, out of nowhere, he remembered, after he finished, he was gonna do some old-fashioned training with his secret weapon.

Alyssa nodded. "Move inventing, ahh..." she said, deep in thought. She absentmindedly filled her own glass with more ice water and then saw that Jake's water was almost empty as well and filled his up as well.

"Need any more, just ask me," she said and smiled at the two boys. She thought of her lesson with Nightcrawler. He had taught her it is best to attack emotionally while you have the chance than resorting to physical violence. She pondered what that meant.

IC: Kenny looks up seeing alyssa, "not much.. might help Jake with his moves, i mean if he hits me with any of 'em we'll know their good". Kenny looks up at the roof leaning back in his seat bored as he waits. "within battle alyssa that ice ability you got would be pretty good, simple manipulations of it can make very complex traps". Kenny looks at alyssa then at Jake a small origami crane appearing above Jake, small writing saying on it 'read inside when no-one is in sight'.

Alyssa nodded. "Also we discussed my use of power in battle with Nightcrawler, he said that I could make good traps," shenodded in acknowledgement at Kenny, "But he also said that I could make these really long, unbreakable, sharp spears out of these that I could run them through with. Them being the enemy." she withdrew her hand from her fork and then creted a small blade of ice that was very, very sharp. "Just as a demonstration."

She swung it a bit, never getting anywhere near Kenny and Jake. "And I could fix it if it broke anyways."

OOC: lines are four plus lines now. NO exceptions. Shadius has been locking a lot of posts for that, just making sure we all get the rule of "no shortposting".

"Thanks," Jake said, snatching the origami crane out of the air and putting it in his pocket. " but I don't think I could hit you if I tried, every move I use you could just teleport out of the way." He smiled and looked over to Alyssa. "Have you tried making other things with your powers, like swords?" He took another piece of meat and dug in. "The way your power works, I'd have to say that you could even freeze someone's insides." Thank God he wasn't enemies with her, she could kill him before he could even scratch her.

Alyssa thought for a moment. "I suppose I could," she looked genuinely surprised. "I never thought about using my power that way." she took a bite of bread then shuddered. "What a horrible way to die, having your insides frozen." she said. "Haven't killed anyone like that!" she shook her head for emphasis. "That's a terrible way to die and a coward's fight." she remembered her parents lectures on how to fight bravely.

"Hm," Jake sighed as he folded his arms behind his head. "I never really thought of it like that before, and I can't exactly say that I agree with you; I don't really live by a code of honor, to me, it's just a crutch." Of course, if he wanted to measure his strength, he'd fight by his opponent's rules. "Hey," he looked around. "Where's Zak, anyway? I haven't seen him since the Danger Room." Maybe he had to do with that crash he'd heard?

IC: Zak closed his moth around the neck of the sentential & ripped out the circuits. When he was finished he let out a loud roar that spread throughout the entire school. Before he could do anything ells he started getting shot in the back by weapons in the danger room. The T-Rex then started rampaging through the hall's.

 

 

OOC: ...... i just realized something. A T-Rex probably only goes up to the sentential's waist, If that.

Alyssa heard a roaring sound from above them. A lot of students also looked up and wondered what was making the sound.

"what could that me?" she asked, surprised. "A...sentinel? Hope not, even though I could freeze it's circuits." she laughed darkly and finished her dinner and stacked it to the side. "But anyways...what is it?"

"Don't know," Jake smirked, revealing fanged teeth as he backflipped out of his chair. "But whatever it is, it's sure as hell gonna get beaten down!" He started running for the door. "Come on!" he beckoned the others to follow him. As they ran out into the hall, he heard a loud roaring. "That sounded like a ...dinosaur." Jake trailed off, because right as he said 'dinosaur,' a gigantic foot appeared. "...crud."

Zak tried to say using his thought speech, but he did not even know if it was working. "Crap. Knowing this guy he wouldn't run even if he could hear me. I have got to get control over this morph before i end up eating one of these guys."

The T-Rex lowered its head as it saw Jake & let out another loud roar & then tried to eat him.

IC: Alyssa followed Jake eagerly until she saw the giant foot. She waved her hands at the foot and it was frozen solid to the ground. "What do you think that is?" she created a icy spear and got ready to fight.

"Well whatever it is, I'm ready!" she said as she created more ice on the beast's head that was now visible. It WAS a t-rex! She created ice on the muzzle of the thing so it wouldn't bite them. "What do we do?" she wondered.

OOC: Whatever.

 

IC: The T-Rex threw its head in the air in an attempt to get free of the ice muzzle on its have & fell to the ground do to the ice freezing its foot to the ground.

"Ouch." Zak said as he felt the pain from falling on his back. "Can't say i blame them though."

The T-Rex started struggling to get off the ground, but it was not easy do to the small arms & having its feel frozen to the ground.

<"Take him out."> Zak said. Knowing he could only regain control if the T-Rex was weakened.

"Zak is that you?" Alyssa asked, surprised. She looked at the t-rex, realizing that he must have lost control. She jumped onto the flailing T-rex's back and froze it's thrashing tail and then it's front claws. "Should I freeze it's insides?" she shuddered a bit at the thought but sanely asked Jake and Kenny. "It would help but I'm not sure if it would kill Zak!" she repeated the same question to Zak.

Zak thought as he heard Alyssa ask about freezing his insides. Zak suddenly felt the T-Rex's mind growing weaker do to the ice covering its body. "Of course, its cold blooded. That means it's weak against the cold" Zak tried to use this chance to change back to normal. The T-Rex started to shrink and change until he turned back in to Zak. "Hi guys. Nice going with the ice Alyssa....." He said this last part weakly and he suddenly fell on his face unconscious.

"Oh good. You're back." Alyssa grinned at him but then walked back to Kenny and Jake. She turned around finally. "That was refreshing. I suppose that was you when I heard about the thing at the museum? It was in the newspapers you know." she smirked a little then walked back to the cafeteria.

"What do we do after dinner?" she asked Jake. "I don't have a schedule."

Jake squatted down to check Zak's pulse. 'Alive, but unconscious. I don't know where he lives, so I'd better take him to the infirmary.' "Well, I was gonna take him to the infirmary," Jake replied, picking Zak's unconscious body up and putting it over his shoulder. "After that... well I was gonna do some old-fashioned training." He started to walk away, then glanced back. "You wanna come?"
