ooc: Again awesome, just try to add to it when you can. The artes aren't critical but I'd like to see a variety of them. No more talk now, it's time to start! Remember, don't post until I send you the pm okaying it. However you should keep up with the thread or you'll be lost.

IC:

The ever present breeze of Ventus gusted a little as the three travelers walked down the road. Lucia, Scipio and Kisune were on the road to Arias; a buzzing trade center in the southwestern continent. They had left from Lucia's home town of Peterny just a day or two ago. The road itself was often used and was actually paved; a rare thing. Of in the distance there was all sorts of vegetation spread out in the open fields.

The two inheritors, Lucia and Kisune, had thus begun their quest to slay the Wyndia and save Ventus. There had been reports of two other inheritors sighted in Arias so that was were the people of Peterny suggested they should head out to. The beginning of such a grand adventure was exciting to Lucia. With her two best friends she was out to do something truly amazing. The wind caught Lucia's long pink hair a little. She walked in between Scipio and Kisune as Scipio wasn't always fond of speaking with others.

"So, we're not too far from Arias it seems. With any luck the two inheritors will still be there." Lucia said to the other two. The city had just appeared on the horizon. Still a few hours away but reachable within in the day.

"Yes, I see it just over those hills," Kisune said, "I'm sure they are still there because it is highly unlikely that they would simply leave. Kisune was wearing his usual gear and such with his hood over his head. The wind simply blew his cloak around him, pulling against his side. His sword clanged on his heels as he walked, but only a few times until he readjusted it. "As long as we keep moving, we should get there sooner then we think," he said.

"I doubt." Scipio chimed in. His blue fur was gleaming as usual. "They could be anywhere. Who said they had the intention to carry out the act?" Then glaring at Kisune, he continued. "Not everyone wants to do something. Especially if they're burdened with it. How would you feel if the world expects you to go and murder 10,000 orphanages?"

"Though Scipio's example is a bit extreme as always, he has a point. Not everyone is willing to go about things that have been forced on them. And there's always the chance they don't even know what they really are. Regardless it's our job to get them to come along and help." Lucia said. As they walked the town moved out of eyesight again as they had just moved into a small valley area. The hills on the other side now obscured the view of the town in the distance.

"Oh, Kisune! I don't think I ever told what signs to look out for in the other Inheritors. Good thing I remembered. If you don't know what to look for you won't be much help. So there are any of three things to look for. One, large wings on the person's back, two, a dark emerald green haired person, and three, a person with various black markings running up their arms. No normal person matches these descriptions so if you see someone like that speak up okay?" she said.

"Well Scipio, if I had been burdened with that I would have just done it and gotten it overwith. That's the kind of guy I am. Not like you would understand," he said. Then he listened to Lucia's descriptions of the other inheritors. "Alright, I'll keep watch for them," he simply said. He didn't speak another word as they walked. In fact he began walking ahead of them with a quicker pace. He looked back every now and then to be sure they were still behind him.

"He can't really mean that. Who could slaughter so much without remorse? No him, that's for sure." Lucia said softly aloud as Kisune hurried ahead. Lucia then shrugged it off and continued on her way next to Scipio. She watched as Kisune got decently far ahead of them. Occasionally he looked back, obviously making sure they were still behind him.

"Say Scipio. Are there any particular reasons you don't like Kisune, or anyone else for that matter? Don't get me wrong, I like our relationship as it is, you're my best friend and I'd never want that any different, but don't you get lonely pushing everyone else away? I don't know, maybe I'm needlessly concerning myself. This journey just gets me nervous sometimes and then I start thinking about things constantly but I felt I should ask." she said. She occasionally asked Scipio these questions. She'd received a mixed bag of answers.

"Lucia, you're better off not concerning for anyone. At the end of this trip, I wouldn't be surprised if most of these Inheritors have died. If anyone were to live through this, it would probably be you. And whoever else is lucky enough. Worrying about others will only make the rest of your life a living hell. I would know." Maybe that last sentence was too much. It was his duty to protect these Inheritors from death until they have slain Wyndia. And whatever happens after that would be up to them.

"I know worrying about others can be dangerous to me. But there's no way I'm going to let the others, or myself for that matter, die." Lucia said. They walked a bit farther, they began to ascend the hill on the other side of the little valley.

"I'm sorry Scipio, I've asked you that question before and I know you don't like answering it. I'll let you do what you want. Just try to remember that you arguing with the others makes the journey unenjoyable for me." she said smiling at him.

A few hours passed, the sun moved past noon. Lucia and Scipio walked the rest of the way on a lighter note. They talked and laughed, well as much as Scipio would laugh anyway. The two caught up with Kisune and the three approached the city of Arias. A clock tower in the front of the town read about 4:00 PM. The three walked in the front gate to the city. As it was trade center, the city was sprawling and crowded. People and animals moved about everywhere. Even with their odd appearances the three wouldn't stand out of the crowd too much.

"Well, guess we should start at the inn. We can set ourselves up there and ask about the Inheritors in the process. Now then... where to go?" Lucia said. As she looked around there was a large building a bit into town clearly marked as the inn.

Kisune gave a nod at Lucia's suggestion and headed towards the inn. He walked in between the crowd of people making his way through it quite quickly for a person of his size. He looked back to see Lucia and Scipio slowly making their way through. "I'll get us our rooms. My treat," he called out. With that he entered the inn and approached the front desk. "Hi there. Can I get 2 rooms next to each other please," he asked. "Sure thing young man," the man at the desk replied. The man turned and grabbed 2 keys, before refacing Kisune. "There you are good sir," he said handing Kisune the keys. "Thanks," he said as he handed the man a small bag of gold and silver. He then walked over to the seats they had placed out and sat in one as he waited for the other 2 to come inside.

Kisune had run ahead to reserve rooms in the inn. Lucia and Scipio headed in the direction of the inn. The two turned to go in the inn when Lucia thought she saw something odd in the corner of her eye. A strange flash of green. The only thought Lucia had was that it could've been another one of the Inheritors. She turned around suddenly without warning to see if it was what she thought. But whatever she'd seen had vanished amidst the crowd. She stood there staring as if she could somehow capture it again in her vision.

At this time an older looking man entered the inn. He stepped up and reserved a cheap room for himself. Nothing seemed too odd about the old man, of course except the fact that his face was obscured by a helmet and he had a very decorated staff. The man received his key and took a seat near Kisune. Kisune's hair was odd enough that any scholar would most likely knew who he was.

Jack sat in his hermitage of a home. A Small manmade alcove in the nearby cliff. It was a good thing he could fly, or it would be a harder time getting here. He needed supplies, so he grabbed a cloak off of his chair, stood up, and proceeded to go the the town below. Jack thought. He landed, donned the cloak, and headed to town. The cloak hid his wings, and he had someone who would help him out. An innkeeper in town.

A quick sigh escaped Scipio's mouth. "Well, I suppose you two enjoy your night here. I might as well find some alley to rest in." Before leaving, he paused. Something wasn't right. As powerful as he was, he couldn't directly sense foes or friends. Unless he had met them before. But there was definitely something odd going on. Maybe it was that man?

Lucia took a few steps and stood in front of Scipio. She had a bit to say to him before he took off.

"In an alley? I don't think so. You'll be coming inside. If they have problem, well let's just say there won't be a problem. If you have a problem, that's a bit of tough luck for you. I'm not going to let my best friend sleep in some street. Now then, excuse me a minute, I have to go check on something." Lucia said. There wasn't much arguing with Lucia when she decided on something. Of course if anyone Scipio would be the one person who might be able to change her mind. She started to walk off in the direction she though she saw the green come from. She had to be sure she wasn't letting an Inheritor get away.

"If you feel like talking to Kisune, tell him I'll be back soon!" she called back to Scipio.

Jack had reached the town, and it was dark. , he thought as he walked in. As he walked towards the inn, he sawsomeone emerge, but he was not concerned. He should have benn, but, alas, he was not. As he continued to get close, he began to feel a little uneasy, and avoided eye contact with the person outside of the inn.

"Tch." Scipio turned towards the inn, stepping inside. As the doors closed, the inn keeper had to rub his eyes. He swore he saw some dog, yet now there was a young man. Messy ebony hair with red eyes, a sly grin on his face, lightly tanned, well built. Handsome if anything. The young man stopped by the inn keeper. "Excuse me, but do you have a bar nearby?" The inn keeper blinked, before pointing to a door nearby. "O'er there." The man nodded, smiled, and walked off.

Orepalos walked slowly up the stairs to his room in the inn. He couldn't manage to bend his legs properly today and climbing the stairs became a labourious task. He could hear the townspeople in the lobby whispering to eachother, most likely about him. Orepalos sighed as he continued to climb the stairs. As he walked up the stairs, he saw a flash of green as a young man passed him on the stairs. Orepalos only knew of one group of people who would have strikingly green hair.

Orepalos turned on the spot, slowly, an took another look. His old eyes did not decieve him. There was indeed a green haired person in a white robe walking in the opposite direction.

Orepalos coughed in disbelief that an Inheritor of the Wind was born, let alone pass him on the way to an inn room. Orepalos approached him an tapped on his shoulder.

"Pardon me sir, you seem to be an energetic young man. Can you help this old man with his bags?" Orepalos said in his uncharacteristic old man voice. He needed a closer look...

Kisune watched the man enter and get his key, then take a seat next to him. "So what is with that helmet?" he asked the man. As he waited for an answer he watched Scipio enter and leave. 'Wonder where Lucia went if Scipio is off on his own. Probbaly is nothing to worry about,' he thought to himself. He then returned his attention to the man as if he was paying attetion the whole time.

"Oh? This old relic? I happen to be a casual historian and this helmet is a cast replica of the helmet worn by the ancient warriors of Ventus. It just happened that I wanted to feel what the warriors felt wearing the helmet," Orepalos lied to the boy. His helmet actually hid his curse from the rest of the world. The townspeople knew, but Orepalos knew that if his hunch was correct, he was dealing with an outsider. Orepalos handed the boy his sack as he unlocked the door. He gripped his staff a bit as he hobbled into his room.

OOC: Otaku-sama if you where referring to my character which I could only assume so, his robe is actually black, the pic is mehish sorry about that, and it has red clouds.

Andx - What are the restrictions for the use of blast calibers?

IC: Hayate ignored the man as he was talking, and even the hand to his shoulder was coldly brushed passed as Hayayte kept walking down the stairs. His dark emerald green hair blowing with every step down the stairs, "Tonight!!!" Hayate continued out the Inn as he turned right onto the street. He looked at the sky, and with a deep breath he set off across the street to his destination.

Hayate moved through the crowd like the wind, dodging in and out of the numerous people that where walking slower then his normal speed. "Master.... I'm sorry," Hayate said as he continued through the mass crowds. Hayate could hear and see people looking at him oddly and instead of his usual comments and threats he continued up the street which would soon lead to his destination.

Once reaching the top of the hill Hayate looked back as he saw someone in particular following him, a Young girl with pink hair around the same age as he. "I don't have time," he mumbled to himself as he turned and continued through the monastery gates.

ooc: Right now each character can only use the level one BC Hayate. I will tell in posts when Blast Calibers are usable.

IC:

Lucia had found the green haired man, as such she made it her business to follow him. It had to be the wind Inheritor. He was heading to a nearby monastery. She quickened her pace to keep up with him; he moved quite fast and decisively. She couldn't miss this chance. He must have seen her, but seeing as he moved on anyways he either didn't recognize her as another inheritor or he didn't want to be found. Lucia stepped up to the monastery the man had walked into. She headed inside to see if she could find him.

Jack walked in and walked up to the inn owner. "Do you have my weekly supplies?" He asked quietly, and the man shook his head. "Wh-" he started to raise his voice and caught himself. "Why not?" he asked. "They just aren't ready." The innkeeper shrugged. Jack asked. "Fine, can I at least get a meal for the night?" The man nodded, and he quickly took a quiet table, taking notice of a man in a helment, and someone with a weird hairstyle.

Orepalos thanked the boy as he left for his room. As the boy headed back, Orepalos narrowed his eyes. The boy did not have green hair, the most visible indicator of the Inheritors, but his presence seemed to feel that of a strong character, something also distinct to the Inheritors as the mark would not manifest itself in an inferior being. Orepalos coughed as he returned to his room. He slowly sat down on his bed, groaning as his joints screamed in protest. He looked out the window. The townspeople were still quite busy despite the sun slowly setting on the horizon. Orepalos decided to get something to eat and exited his room.

Entering the main lobby, travellers told eachother about their journeys to placed unknown while town guards toasted with eachother as they guzzled down their food and drink. Orepalos walked up to the bartender and ordered a cup of tea. Taking a seat, he watched others walk by and go about their business. How he envied to have free movement, to be able to go about his business without his body protesting to every movement. Orepalos then noticed a man wearing dark robes intimidating the inn keeper. As the man walked over to the tavern, Orepalos carefully watched him.

As Jack walked with his food to sit, he noticed the helmeted man watching him. He decided to speak. "Is there a problem?" He asked the old man, starting off quietly, Only the right side of his face, and his blue eye visible. "I noticed you staring at me. Don't you know that it's rude to stare?" He spat out, mood swinging. It swung again. "Please stop it. I hate attention." He looked at the old man, both eyes visible, red eye revealed, "Capiche?"

Hayate turned right at the entrance of the Monastery, heading for the place his Master had died. Inside the room black flame candles where lit and Hayate approached the alter. "Master, what should I do?" he asked as he knelt down before the alter. He lifted his head up to look at the picture of his master set on the top of the alter, flowers surrounding it and gave Hayate a sense of happiness.

"It has been too long Master, I know what I must do but how can I do it alone?" Hayate lowered his head once again and began to pray out loud. Once he finished he stood up reaching for his Katana which was neatly wrapped in a piece of cloth. As he grabbed the hilt he placed it on the alter, "Master please give me the strength to continue my destiny, and to not fail the future generations in the teachings of our lord." With that he knelt once more leaving his Katana on the alter.
