The moment Kirmono moved to attack, Klara took an instinctive position in front of him in case an attack was returned. As it was more available at the moment, Klara drew the wakizashi that was horizontally hanging behind her at her waist. She couldn't see clearly into the tree cover so the eavesdropper's identity wasn't clear. Klara stood ready to form a barrier for Kirimono's protection.

"I assume you'll understand that we shouldn't reveal the destination until after the eavesdropper has been taken care of Viero." Klara said quietly as she stood ready.

"I'm smart enough to understand that" Viero said as he pulled out 3 knives out of their containers and threw them in a circle around the tree. He immediately started rattling off a spell, The blades began to shine quickly and send out a sound, strong enough to get the tree's leaves to fall off immediately. The leaves began to slowly fall off while viero grabbed his white sword, hanging on his back. "Show yourself" He whispered as he waited.

At once Fayre's flight ability kicked in and she flew straight out of the tree, over the attacks and landing in a crouched position in front of Viero, Klara and Kirmono. Normally she would have drawn her swords, but she didn't this time; instead she merely held onto her fan, though she did not open it. She stood up straight and looked at each one in turn.

"I do not wish to fight," she said. "I was merely curious, for I have seen you before, Mr d'Izzo." She then held herself even more upright, in the way she would have done if she had been putting on her "politician face".

Kirimono unleashed his sword. "Who are you? What do you wany from me? Are you one of those assassins who have come for my head?!" Kirimono would know someone is an assassin just by looking at them. With every assassin that comes for him, he would always find a weak spot in his enemies if he had to defend himself. "If you do not want to fight, then why are you here?" Kirimono waited for Fayre's response as he put his sword back.

Kirimono's sword did not escape Fayre's attention. She noted the intricate handle, the detailing of the dragon emblem. "Like I say, I was curious. I know about Mr d'Izzo's position, and it struck me as odd to see him talking to people I have never seen before." She already had a vague idea of who Kirimono could possibly be, but she wasn't telling just yet. She was going to test him, see if she was right or not. "And yes, I may be an assassin, but I do it for a good cause; I am an independant assassin, and I am willing to serve only for good, such as Emperor Kirimono's son." She waited for a reaction.

Kirimono put his sword up to Fayre's neck, enraged. "You will NEVER speak of my father again! Regardless of who you work for, you must understand that you are not welcome! Do not test me!" Kirimono does not want to hear about his father's name. He might believe that the one who spoke of it might be working for his father's killer. Vengeance went through Kirimono's mind once more.

Fayre was smiling as she used her wind powers to gently push the blade away from her neck, even though she could have just used her fan to knock it away. She suddenly turned and ripped the veil off her face, and bowed at Kirmono. "You may or may not recognise me; I am Fayre Sleeklight, the last breadwinner of our family, once an aristocrat family working for your father, though we fell from that position when the Dark Emperor took over. Nowadays, I am forced into the grubby world of politics; I can assure you, it is quite a bore, no one likes each other anyway. I have been waiting a long time to find the Emperor's son, and now, I have found him." There was a glint of genuine happiness in her eye.

Kirimono put his blade away. "I have heard of your family. My father never thought of telling me. Were you looking for me because you want my help?" When Kirimono was 10 years old, he had seen Fayre and his family from time to time. When he was 18, he told his father that he needed to look for something. He is still searching, but might not find what he had been looking for. "You may join me on my quest for vengeance if you wish, but you must obey all of my orders,"

"You could say that," said Fayre. "I am tired of being who am I not, and the quicker this madness is over with, the better." She paused. "Yes, I will follow your orders to the word. You needn't worry about me suddenly disappearing off the face of the political world, my servants know what to do." She looked directly at Kirimono, and felt her hand resting on the hilt of her ball and socket jointed sword. "So, where are we going my Lord?"

Kirimono turned to the direction and pointed there. "That way is to the Village of Ice. That is where the second fragment of the Stone of Dragons lies. I have the first fragment from the Fire Village." Kirimono took out the fragment and threw it to Fayre to look at it. "There are 4 fragments. When I found the first one, I was given a clue to my next destination. We must head there to find the next clue." Kirimono then explained what the Stone of Dragons was and what it is able to do.

Viero stared suspiciously at Fayre but decided to follow Kirimonos decision, and allow her to travel with them. "Let's go" viero said while he was walking towards the village. As they walked, viero began asking questions about Fayre and her familiy, Though he really was not interested, he took time to listen. After a few hours walking and running, They had finally found a resting place. There was an old inn, the walls around the house was rotten with tear marks there and there. Dark clouds had covered the sky, rain began to fall at the same moment as the door of the inn was blown up by itself. Viero stared intently at the door while he grabbed his white sword, "We better check this out".

Fayre followed silently, the veil now back on her face. It was better that people was clueless as to who she was, rather than find out and leak news; it would certainly do her already shamed heritage no further use. She nodded at Viero's suggestion, and stowed away her fan. In place, she unsheathed her double bladed sword. Her other hand was on her ball and socket jointed blade, ready to be unsheathed and land a quick slash. She turned to look at Viero, and nodded to indicate she was ready to go in.

Viero nodded back and unsheated his sword in an elegant motion, Viero crept cautiously forward to the immobile house. He stopped at the door gently, and looked into. It was like he thought, a rotten house full of broken planks. He walked slowly in, suddenly the door behind him closed. Viero reacted swiftly and struck the door in two before it closed. The door had taken all viero's attention, What he did not understand was that the shadows were just behind him. A shadow in the shape of an old lady appeared behind Viero and with magic, she threw him out of the house with a spin. Viero's blade spinned around and struck to the ground. Viero however countered the fall and landed. "Who are you !?" Viero shouted to the shadow. The shadow ignored viero and threw herself forwards to him. Viero made himself ready to meet the attack with a dagger covered in poison.

"Wait!" shouted Kirimono as he got in Viero's way. "Drop your weapon, Viero." Shadows can be destroyed by a mere blast of light. So... "Burst of Light!" Kirimono blasted the shadow with the attack and the shadow disintegrated, leaving its weapon behind. Kirimono picks it up and turns to Viero. "This could be useful to you in a later time. Take it." Kirimono gave Viero the dagger. He turned around to have seen a glowing symbol of an ice shard on a wall nearby. He slowly walked up to it. When Kirimono touched it, the part of the wall opened up. What was inside was a fragment of sorts. "Could this be...?" "Yes," said a voice from behind him. Kirimono turned around in shock. It was the elder from before. Time began to freeze as the two began to talk. Kirimono didn't know it, though.

"YOU!?"

"That's right."

"You said you didn't know where the fragment is!"

"I meant to say i did know. I just wanted to see if you would solve my riddle."

"Well, I did. Now tell me the next riddle."

"Very well. The next fragment lies in the nation where the air moves in many directions and speeds. Good luck!"

"Wait!" shouted Kirimono as the man disappeared and time begins to move again. He walked up to the others. "I have the next fragment! And I have a riddle to help find our next destination. The next fragment lies in a nation where the moves in different directions and speeds. Who knows what it means?"
