"Akiza's late...Again." He sighed and walked away to the backroom.-------------------------------Akiza soon reached Le Frais Cafe. She leapt from her Duel Runner and ran to the window. As she peered in, she noticed that Duncan was not there. She sighed with relief and walked to the door and pushed it open. She smiled at Kiwi and walked throught the crowd around the counter. When she was behind the counter she whispered to Kiwi: "Thanks for covering for me" and glanced at the man who had appeared to be talking to Kiwi. "Can I get you anything? Cup of coffee? Kyko replied to the man, taking off her mask as she finished replying. "And besides, someone such as yourself better match yourself. I mean, the mask of beauty is just a casing to hide true emotion. Just like a mask, no-one can see past beauty and see your emotions..." As Kyko finished speaking, she could feel herself about to cry, and so went back to her corner of the room. Daxter Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 While sitting outside the cafe', Aj had felt a presence. A presence that seemed to be similar to him. He stood up and entered the cafe' and saw a few people in there. He started to look at all of the people in there, trying to figure out exactly where this feeling was coming from. "Hmmm one of these people might be worth talking too, maybe I could begin to build the Rare Hunter right now." Aj thought to himself. Aj sat down as had a dark grin on his face, he knew it was only a matter of time until he figured out which one of these people he would duel, and try to recruit them. "Well...Where's Duncan?" After glancing around she turned back to the man she had spoken to before. "Sorry what?" --------------------------Duncan shouldered open the back room as he was carrying a large box. He set it down infront of the back room door and straightened up turning around. Compass Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 Cyrus grinned in amusement. It may have been rude, but it sounded like something from a TV show. "Don't be silly. They can't exist. I don't think that's possible. I'm sorry...But Shadow duels don't exist." He began to drumm his fingers on the table, thinking of what he should do today. He could duel somebody, but you can't just walk up to somebody and challange them. He sighed, and began to spred out the cards in his deck on the table. Many of the guests looked at him, but he didn't care. He appraoched the man with the burnt face. "Where did you claim to get that burn?" Aj knew where he said he got it, but he was still in disbelief. Aj realized that this man was the man he felt the weird presence from. "Didn't you talk to him?" she glared at Kyko, before turning away and striding to the Booster Counter. "Anyone want to buy booster packs? Come over here!" she called while Duncan set up the Booster Pack stand and loaded it with booster packs from the box he had been carrying. "My fault, I forgot to tell you she was going to be late. She stayed over at mine last night and she needed to get back to her place to go pick her deck up. Of course, I dont have a Duel Runner, so I couldn't of given her a lift..." Kiwi told Duncan, before she slipped a card out of her duel disk and glanced at it. "These masks are just getting weird..." Akiza touched the top of her deck and turned to glance around the Cafe. She noticed a few people gathered around the man with the burned face. He went back inside. "I wonder when the first customer will come?" he said to himself. He walked out again, and took a walk. "Is it me, or is no-one interested in buying anything anymore..?" Kiwi asked Akiza, not even bothering to turn around and look at her as she spoke. With her words out of her mouth, she placed her deck on the counter and turned the 1st card over. "Mask of Brutality..? What the..? I thought I placed Mask of Perplexity on top of my Deck!?" Duncan, stood up and walked away toward the backroom again. Akiza looked down at her Deck and stroked it smiling. She then flipped over the top card and revealed a legendary 'Vicious Archithan - Minotarus Graginon'. She stared at it before flipping it over and picking up her Deck to slip it back into her pocket. "God, how the hell did you get into the middle of my deck..?" Kiwi asked herself, picking up Mask of Perplexity and laughing. "Doesn't matter, your too important to my deck to get angry at." But anyways," she continued, glancing up at Kiwi, "I think I might go visit that new Card Shop that opened up. That is, when I get off." When they were outside, Akiza pulled away and ran to her duel runner and pressed a button on the side. Her pick and green duel disk's sections reconnected and the disk was lifted up and Akiza grabbed it and attatched it to her arm and slid her 2nd Deck into the Deck slot. Aj held up his right hand and revealed a black gem inside the palm of his hand. "Well Agony, I can offer you power and darkness like you could never imagine." The gem began to glow. "So Agony, does the darkness feed on you?" Aj felt that this man was a real find, someone who could hel him achieve absolute chaos and plunge the world into the shadows. Me first! Draw!" Kyko drew 6 cards, grinning at her selection. "I'll play Grand Tiki Elder in Attack Position, then 1 face-down! End!" Kyko stood in a rather energetic stance, as the hologram of a face-down card and of Grand Tiki Elder appeared beside her. As Grand Tiki Elder appeared, it let out a rather sorrowful moan that just made Kyko laugh. Akiza's Life Points: 4000 (?)Kyko's Life Points: 4000 (?)
