Coffee Black
I think you have over 40 cards, which is a bad thing, because you will not draw what you need most of the time. if you want to focus on paladin, take out the cards that don't contribute to your strategy, like injection fairy lily, jinzo, yata-garasu, tribe inecting virus. all those cards are ok i guess, but they don't contribute to your main strategy. also, i suggest taking out magic cylinder bcuz you will get flamed on this site for it. someone can give you a good dark paladin build around here. D.D. Destroyer
whats wrong with magic cylinder? and it is a main focus to get the paladin out.. but its nice to have back up plans.. i may try that.. i only would need to take out about 4 or 5 cards.. jabber2033
whats wrong with magic cylinder? Allow me to list the reasons:1. It only stops ONE attack and doesn't even end the Battle Phase2. Can't be activated in response (chained) to stuff like MST, Heavy Storm, Dark Armed Dragon, ect.3. Doesn't destroy/remove a monster4. Too easily countered by stuff like Dark Bribe and Solemn Judgment Those are the major problems. There are far more cards superior to Cylinder. Stuff like Mirror Force, Dimensional Prison, even Sakuretsu Armor are better. It's also commonly accepted around here that Cylinder is only good in Burn decks. Don't ask me why... As for a better deck, try the following: 191x Chaos Emperor Dragon2x DM2x BB3x Skilled DM2x Skilled WM2x E-Hero Prisma2x Breaker the MW2x King of the Swamp1x Magician of Faith1x Witch of the BF1x Cyber Jar1x Sangan 153x Polymerization2x Allure of Darkness1x Pot of Greed1x Graceful Charity1x Reborn1x P-Burial1x Harpie’s FD1x Raigeki1x Dark Hole1x Change of Heart1x Delinquent Duo1x Pot of Avarice 61x Call of the Haunted1x Mirror Force1x Ring of D1x Torrential2x Bottomless TH 33x Dark Paladin This should be pretty decent. I added Chaos Emperor Dragon because you have plenty of DARK monsters and a few LIGHTS (Prisma, MoF, Skilled WM) and it's a field nuker, in that it destroys every card on the field. You can replace CED with Black Luster Soldier or even Chaos Sorcerer if you feel like it. The rest should be pretty straightforward. Keep in mind that this can't be used in tournaments. If you want a tourney-legal deck for Dark Paladin, PM me if you want.
D.D. Destroyer
That does make sense about the Magic Cylinder now.. I used to play CED and BLS.. but as good as they are.. just not my style.. I do like the rest of the deck though. whats the prisma do? any reason to limit skilled wm to 2? sorry for all the questions.. i have been out of the game for 2 maybe 3 years.. right when AST came out. jabber2033
That does make sense about the Magic Cylinder now.. I used to play CED and BLS.. but as good as they are.. just not my style.. The Envoy Monsters are pratically staples in tradtional decks that run a decent amount of DARK and LIGHT monsters. Although if you don't like it' date=' you can replace CED with Dark Magician of Chaos and add Dedication through Light & Darkness in there somewhere.[/b'] I do like the rest of the deck though. whats the prisma do? Selects 1 Fusion Monster, then sends one Fusion Material Monster to the grave, and Prisma's name is treated as the sent monster. any reason to limit skilled wm to 2?Not really, but you have so much draw power that drawing BB is pretty easy. sorry for all the questions.. i have been out of the game for 2 maybe 3 years.. right when AST came out. BTW, I got your PM. I'll send you a deck momentarily.
D.D. Destroyer
i'm a little confused on prisma's effect.. does the fusion monster come from the deck?
Coffee Black
yes, it sends a monster listed on a fusion card from the deck to the grave. then, until the endphase, prisma is treated as the sent monsters name. so in your deck, you could send either BB or DM. Unless you count Fusion Gate, not really. Spellcasters don't have any alternate fusion cards like Power Bond for Machines and Dragon's Mirror for Dragons. Poly and Future Fusion are really the only things you can use for Dark Paladin
