Fraaz is a far more worthy adversary then Stagnox was. He's able to assault Link with both Ice and Fire, and his attacks can be tough to avoid.

Keep your distance and watch Fraaz as he inhales, become rotund (Not round, rotund) and charged with power. Fraaz's colour determines his forthcoming attacks, as well as his current vulnerability. Expect ice attacks when he's glowing blue and fire attacks when he's read.

The first stage of the battle is simple enough. Avoid Fraaz's attacks and wound him bytossing your boomerang into either the blue or red torch, then hitting him. Strike Fraaz with a fiery boomerang when he's glowing blue and a frosty boomerang when he's glowing red.

Hitting Fraaz with the boomerang stuns him for a moment. Take full advantage and assault the boss with rapid sword strikes, dealing as much damage as you can.

Repeat this sequence to harm Fraaz when he glows the other colour. After damaging Fraaz when he's red and blue, the boss splits into two smaller Fraazes.

Harming the smaller Fraazes works a bit differently. One is vulnerable to ice and the other to fire. Glance at your map screen to see which is which, and hit each one with the appropriate attack.

After successfully striking both little Fraazes, the two reform into the full-size Fraaz. At this point, the boss becomes wise to Link's tricks and destroys both torches. Foul!

Now the fight gets really tricky. You must wait for Fraaz to attack, dodge the attack (ideally), and then quickly make use of the lingering substance. For example, if Fraaz launches an ice ball, dodge the projectile (which explodes on the floor) and then ready the boomerang. Trace a line to the reminants of the ice, waiting for Fraaz turn red before connecting the line to him and releasing the boomerang. The flames left behind by Fraaz's fireballs must be exploited in just the same manner; wait for Fraaz to turn blue, then strike.

Again, you must repeatedly stun Fraaz, attacking him afterward with Link's sword. Only when you've hit him enough times (up to three times depending on your speed) will Fraaz into his twin microselves.

The second Mini Fraaz encounter is a bit more challenging aswell. This time, you must strike both Fraazes with the boomerang, all in one toss. Wait for the little villians to attack, then quickly trace a line from the first lingering substance back to the appropriate mini-Fraaz, then back to the other substance and over to the other mini-Fraaz. Again, check your map to see which Fraaz is which.

Fraaz re-forms one final time, and, of course, he's worse then ever. Now you must strike him twice with one toss of the boomerang, using the appropriate substance to wound him. To do this, trace a line from the substance to Fraaz, then draw a quick loop to target Fraaz again. You don't need to re-target the substance after hitting Fraaz the first time; just draw a quick loop and retarget Fraaz so that you strike him twice in a row.

As always you must stun Fraaz, follow up with Link's sword, then stun him again, hacking away once more. When you're not attacking, stay mobile and do your best to avoid Fraaz's far reaching attacks. Don't relent until the boss finally goes down for the count.

On that note: I wanna ride in Beedle's balloon! TT_TT It takes me like 10 minutes to get from place to place (stupid Dark Trains) when he can float through the entire land in half that time! That's not fair! DX

Also, he sells a bomb bag for 500 rupees. Wouldn't be so bad if it could carry more than ten bombs at a time. Everything good in the game is arguably more expensive than the last games. I mean c'mon! An arrow quiver for 2,000 rupees my rear end. <_<

[/complaints]

On a more serious note, I like it. The enemies and puzzles are more of a challenge, as they always should be. Parts of some dungeons require careful strategy as opposed to "use item from last dungeon on object/enemy x".
