The era of Japan's civilized aristocrats has come to a violent end. On the horizon is an era of warriors, where force of arms will be the nation's supreme power. The Heishi clan, led by Kiyomori Taira, has defeated the army of Minamoto Yorimoto and put an end to the Heishi Rebellion. It is clear that Heishi is the strongest of the samurai clans. Taira's victory was not do to the force of arms alone, but with the aid of warriors who wore divine stones. Each stone glowed with a mysterious inner light....

Amahagane are mystical jewels betowed upon the people by Shukenten, the god of smithery.These stones bring their owners a godlike power called Kamui. It is said that when an evil person uses one, it brings forth the power of evil. Many of the Amahagane have fallen into the hands of the Heishi.

Kamui is a special feat that uses the power of Amahagane. A Kamui manuver summons a magical space in which you can avoid enemy attacks while simultaneously executing a devastating attack of your own. There are some attacks that cannot be avoided using Kamui.

Led by Kiyomori Taira, this army's warriors use Amahagane. They also employ Yourenshu, who control demons. Its forces currently are in control of Heian-Kyou, the city that will one day be called Kyoto.

Appearance: 5'9", always wears white, dark short hair, red headband

Bio: A young swordsman who is only sixteen years old and the son of Yoshitomo Minamoto, the late leader of Minamoto clan who fell during the Heish Rebellion. However, Yoshitsune never knew this. Instead he came of age after a lonely childhood at the remote, sacred mountian shrine Mt. Kurama. (Noone in his family knows he is still alive)

A grat destiny awaits Yoshitsune.

Fight Style: Yoshitsune wields a katana in each hand, and overwhelms his enimies with superhuman speed and agility. Using graceful, dance-like motions, he swiftly combines his attacks into long, devastating chains that overwhelm his enemies.

Special ability: Superhuman Spped and Agility

Yoritomo Minamoto: Yoshitsune's brother, leader of the Minamoto clan to its former glory ever since the defeat of his father Yoshitomo at the hands of the Heishi.

 

Kiichi Hogen: He is the chief of the Tamayori clan, who are charged with guarding the last of the Amahagane. It is the duty of this clan to see that they are not used for evil purposes. Kiichi Hogen is a master Buddhist mystic, and has enchanted Shizuka's hiding place to help hide her. He is the one who asks Yoshitsune to help the Tamayori retrieve the Amahagane that have fallen into the possesion of the Heishi.

 

Hidehira Fujiwara: Hidehira leads the Fujiwara clan and governs Oushu, the second-greates city in Japan. He has refused to become involved in the battle between the Heishi and the Minamoto.

 

Kiyomori Taira: Kiyomori is the leader of the Heishi. He used the Amahagane to defeat the Minamoto clan's army during the Heishi Rebellion, and now gorverns Japan according to the whims of the Heishi. Not satisfied with his victory, he wishes to become the sole master of the Amahagane and spread his power even farther. He also seeks the Priestess Gozen Shizuka, the only one who has the secret Yosegane magic.

Gozen Shizuka: Known as the "Priestessof the Tamayori", she is the only person who can use the magical power "Yosegnae" right to enhance the power of the Amahagane. She is targeted by the Heishi, who wish to take advantage of Yosegane. To evade them, she fled far from civilization and now lives quietly in hiding with Kiichi Hogen.

Kagekiyo Taira: He is the single most powerful warrior of the Heishi. His power is rumored to exceed even that of Kiyomori Taira. Kagekiyo rarely shows emotion and executes his orders in calm and ruthless manner. With Amahagane in his hand, he possesses the power of a thousand men in battle. He was not on the front lines during the Heishi Rebellion and his prowess played a great role in Taira victory. Kagekiyo wields a special weapon that combines two blades in a single pommel, and with it he tirelessly hunts down Yoshitsune.

Fight style: Fights quickly and decisively, using every advantage he can see. He is very tactical and can think very fast. He fights mainly using his feet and knees but uses his hands a bit.

Weapon: Just one sword. Kyonokura

Weapon History: A blessed sword of gods. It has a hole near the tip of the blade that, when the blade is swiped through the air, creates either a beautiful melody or a terrible shriek. Kris found it while wondering the land. He fell into a deep cavern and found it in front of him. He used it's sound powers to some how propell himself to the surface again and has never parted with the sword since.

Location: MT. kurama

Other: Unknown cousin of Yoshitsune. He was found alone in the mountain as a child and was thought to be dead. Now he is a friend of Yoshitsune as they grew up on the mountain together like brothers.

Appearance: Ken is 6 foot 2 inches high, usually wearing his armor which is mostly black with the outer bits fading into White and a White Rune in the middle meaning Death. he has a very light blu-ish silver eyes and has black hair, a scar up from his cheek to the eyebrow of his left eye and is of powerful build.

Bio: Ken is a Warrior younger than most in the clan of Heishi but stronger than most aswell. Ken was found during the Heishi Rebellion at the Age of 16. Ken has trained with his sword and found most skill with the two blades he uses currently. Ken is among the Heishi clans ranks as one of the strongest Warriors they have and therefore is not usually the first sent out or he leads the squad which was sent with him.

Fight style: Ken mostly fights based on power, using his power combined with the speed with which he can swing both blades. Ken usually uses this power to Disarm his opponent and kill them in two blows. When faced with a Challenge Ken will balance his blows in with Eachother working down on his opponent's blades.

Special ability: Enhanced Strength, slightly improved Speed

Weapon History: These swords were crafted by two very different smiths one making a deep black blade mixed with small amounts of Onyx named the blade of Death the other a white blade mixed with small amounts of Diamond named the Blade of life, One Samurai had came into their town and brought these two blades, though heavy he was able to carry them he then challenged Ken, who at that time was using a Single reverse -edged blade and easily took the mans life then taking the blades as they were a prize more than a trophy of this, he uses these blades in battle.

IC: "Hey Kristan!" Yoshitsune shouts as he runs over to his best friend. "So were are we off to today? Cause I cant be gone for long, I have to go train later." Yoshitsune follows Kristan where ever he is going. "By the way how is your mom, is she still sick?" Suddenly as Yoshitsune was talking he heard the voice of his sensai. "Oh well, sorry I have to go. Later."

Ken walks through the Rukahara palace his blades in their sheathes as he walks though the sheathes draw a little attention. Ken stops as he reaches the main entry way then sitting. "hmm.. i wonder if we will have anyone to fight today or whether i'll be here all day again?" he thinks. Ken looks up at the door, not really bothered with any detail as he looks at it to keeping himself occupied.

IC:Kiichi was meditating and opened his eyes. He was in a small garden of his own creation with varies of flowers and bamboo. He grabbed his staff and walked through the halls of the clan palace. He found his advisor and asked "Has there been any reply yet from Yoritomo Minamoto or his clan as on the subject of the Amahagane?"

"No sir." The advisor replied.

"I see thank you anyway." Kiichi and said then the advisor bowed and walked away. "Well Yoritomo let's see how you play this game." He said to himself, his staff hitting the ground every time he took a step.

"Yes she's still ill. Why on earth would I still be here if she weren't?" Kris said to his almost annoying-little-brother-like friend Yoshitsune, "Oh, and just call me Kris. I've told you a thousand times just Kris will do. Kristan sounds too formal and I hate formal. Anyway, the sensei is calling so you'd better...." Kris was about to finish when Yoshitsune ran off, "...Go. That guy can never stay still can he." Kris ran off to practice with Kyonokura, the singing blade.

OoC: Yes everyone can have one(In the beginning, but you can get it stolen or get somemore. And there are over a thousand Amahagane, that we will get later on), but you must get it from your clan leader, unless your from mount kurama. Then you get it from the Tamayori clan.

 

IC: Yoshitsune walked to his sensai and bowed then said "You called me master?" His sensai bowed back and handed something to Yoshitsune. "The time has come, for you are of the age to take the final test of the Samurai." Shoked and most happy Yoshitsune said "Really Master what must I do for the final test?" Surprized to hear the answer so quickly he said "You must travel to Kyoto and defeat the Heishi leader that has threated to destroy the village. "Huh? Master are you sure I am ready for such a great task?"

"Do you doubt your self Yoshitsune?" Yoshitsune looked straight at his sensai and said "Of course not master I shall destroy him, how would you have me do this?"

"It is up to you, all I have to say is that you may take one other person with you to help you in your test. But if you choose to put your work on your partner you shall fail." With a surprized voice Yoshitsune said, "I shall not fail, because I choose to not have anyone help me."

"Do not be foolish Yoshitsune, take your friend Kristan."

"But.." Shouting his sensai said, "DO NOT BACK TALK ME, You shall do as I say!" steping back Yoshitsune bowed and ran off to ask Kristan to help him on his test.
