At the year 3000, humans aquired superpowers, but not everyone got them. The story is about 20 superpowered humans who wake up in an outdoor arena. The name of the arena is Arina(Creative, don't you think?). A voice in the sky tells everyone that this is a battle for survival. To get out? Be the last one living. So I'm asking you guys to make the remaining characters in addition to what I have up already. Please don't be mad if you die early in the story.

Appearance:Ria has a long blue hair. She wears a white coat over her blue shirt and a purple skirt.

Personality:Ria is a silent girl, but she's good at making friends. Ria is also brave and willing to try new things. Her most common fear is being alone.

Bio:Ria is a 14 year old girl. She doesn't like being girly. She hates make-up and following the newest fashion fad. She managed to make a lot of friends at school. She lives a normal life with her parents. Ria doesn't have any siblings, and she doesn't want one ethier. She is one of the thousands of people who received powers. Ria uses her powers for good. Unlike many people, she doesn't ask for something in return whenever she uses her powers.

Powers: Ria has amazing healing abilities. Not only can she heal humans, she can also heal plants and animals. Ria also has the ability to make protective barriers or forcefields.

Appearance:Lance has a short, dark brown hair. He is physically fit. He wears a brown long sleeve shirt and brown pants.

Personality:Lance is a modest guy. He never gives up on what he started. He likes to work alone. Lance, because of his modesty, likes to be the follower rather than the leader. Lance is also smart and clever.

Bio:Lance is a 15 year old boy. Lance's family is rich and famous. He has an older brother, and they both have powers. They're parents has high expectations for them. Lance has been in several movies, but what he's really famous for is his strong power to control earth. Lance and his brother have always been the dream for many girls, but Lance has never had a girlfriend.

Powers:Lance has the ability to manipulate any forms of earth;rocks,sand,the ground. But he has yet to learn how to manipulate metal.

Appearance:Has blonde hair with 2 ponytail on each side. Wears a pink t-shirt and a red skirt.

Personality:Lily is shy and scared of every common fear such us the dark, heights, insects, etc. She doesn't talk much, and doesn't like to fight back.

Bio:Lily is a 10 year old girl who lives with her mom. Her parents are divorced, and she has no brothers or sisters. Lily's mom didn't know she had powers until one day. On that day, kids from school were bullying her. She started crying and weird things happened. Flower petals blasted out of her and knocked the kids to the school walls. Everyone has been afraid of her ever since that day.

Powers: Lily's powers are controlled by her emotion. Each emotion will give her different powers. If she's happy, she can control weather. If she's sad, she can control plants. If she's mad she can have flowers and petals come out of her body and control it.(Just like what she did to the kids at school) If she's scared anything can happen.

Appearance:Leru has white hair, and he wears a white jumpsuit.

Personality:Leru is a complete weirdo. Has any personality a weirdo would have.

Bio:Leru is a 15 year old boy. Not much is known about him.

Powers:Leru's only powers are making a clone of himself.

Appearence: Blonde Hair, Brown eyes, Wears black shirt with green jacket

Personality: Talkative, Perseverence

Bio: 12-Year old male, Lucas has a liking for electronics. Before he ended up here, he used his powers to resist bullying. He isn't greedy, but he's a tad selfish.

Powers: Lucas can generate electricity, not unlike Force Lightning from Star Wars. He can either use it to attack, or he can make a barrier with it. He can also electrify objects and use them as projectiles.

 

[spoiler=6. Ben Barret]

Appearance: Ben has black hair and black eyes. He likes wearing clothes that are too big for him. His clothes are mostly black.

Personality: Ben is wild, likes to party, and he's an idiot. He makes bad choices, and he's obnoxious. He also gets mad easily.

Bio: Ben is a 16 year old male. He's always getting into trouble. He has horrible grades at school. His parents don't know what to do with him. Ben also likes going to parties. He's a bit crazy.

Powers: Ben has the ability to grow bigger or shrink smaller.

Appearance:Blond hair, blue shirt, violet pants.

Personality:Jayline is usually a nice girl, but she is also tough.

Bio:Jayline is a 15-year old girl. She is rich and goes to a private school for people who has powers. She is the best in her class in both brains and power.

Powers: Jayline has psychic powers. She can use them as beams, barriers, or to hold and contain(just like how she made a sphere prison for Ben).

Personality:Cold arrogant isolated shy takes time to open to people will not hesitate it killing someone if he thinks he needs too

Bio:17 male He grew up without a mother she died giving birth to him his dad openly hated and blamed him for that and barly cared or even took notice of him but so he was cold to any one who tryed to get close to him but one girl who he began to love whos name is Amy and not before suddenly appeared in the Arina

Powers: can control water and ice can create and manipulate ice by taking the water around him and freezing it and create weapons of water and or ice

Appearence: Pale, shoulder-length hair, Pale blue eyes, white shirt with a purple skirt

Personality: Very shy and self-contained, never trusts anybody regardless

Bio: Female, 11 years old, Luma (Short for Lumastar, long for Lu, as she says), has no parents. She has no close relatives, so it wasn't a huge blow to her to end up in the Arina.

Powers: Luma can control the wind and is also extremely fast.

Appearence: Red hair, Red eyes, Red shirt with brown pants

Personality: Hot-tempered

Bio: 15-Year old male, Ernest is an enigmatic fella. He's always had a passion for warm or hot places and HATED winter. He uses his powers mostly on campouts.

Powers: He uses fire to attack. He can also surround himself with a ring of flames to defend himself.

[spoiler=Prologue]

Ria was just a normal fourteen year old girl. Well, if you consider having powers as normal. It is normal in the year 3000. At that time, humans aquired super powers, but not everyone got them. Before that horrid day, Ria was getting ready for the award ceremony at school. She was wearing her white coat over her blue shirt. She loved the color blue. She even dyed her hair blue. After the award ceremony, Ria went to help out at the hospital. She had amazing healing abilities. She can cure almost every disease in the world. Her life was simple and great. Nothing could prepare her for what happened to her the next day.

 

Ria woke up in an unhappy mood. Every part of her body was aching. As she cracked her neck and her back, Ria had her eyes closed. When she opened her eyes, she quickly realized she wasn’t on her soft bed. She was on a rocky ground, in the middle of nowhere.

 

“Where...Where am I?”

 

Trees surrounded her in a perfect circle. The shining sun was rising, and the sky was clear. Everything was silent; no wind, no animals, no sounds.

 

Ria soon started panicking. She ran here and there, but all she can see was an endless amount of trees. Tears started forming around her eyes as she ran. After running for several minutes, she found an opening. Her excitement died when Ria realized that she was back where she started. She was about to break down and cry, but a booming voice stopped her.

 

 

[spoiler=Part One: Be Friends Now, Be Enemies Later]

[spoiler=[b]Chapter One: In a Dark Place With a Guy[/b]]

“Welcome, everyone, to Arina. You are all now part of a game. How do you play? Be the last one alive, and I’ll set you free. That is all.”

 

Ria froze. She couldn’t believe it. Questions flooded her mind. Where is she, who was that voice in the sky, what are her parents thinking?

 

She trembled in fear. “No…No! This is just a dream, just a dream, just a dream…”

 

Ria repeated this for what seemed like an hour. Finally, she stood up, and gathered her thoughts.

 

“I was taken from my home, they put me in this arena, and the only way to get out is to kill the other people here. Other people... There are other people. They’re going to kill me.”

 

She stood in silence. Everything was quiet. It was so quiet, Ria can hear the splashes of her tears that fell from her crystal, blue eyes. Too much things happened in so little time. She was tired. She was tired from running. She was tired from thinking. She was tired from crying. Ria closed her eyes and fainted.

 

 

Ria woke up, but she didn’t dare to open her eyes. It was cold, and her body ached again. She heard rain, but she wasn’t wet. She still didn’t want to open her eyes. It was too painful to bear. She wanted believed it was all a horrible dream.

 

“I see you’ve woken up.”

 

Ria’s eyes became wide open. Fear had her shaking wildly. She saw nothing but darkness.

 

Finally, Ria had the courage to talk. “Who’s there? What do you want?”

 

The guy showed himself. He had brown hair, and he was wearing a brown longsleeve and dark brown pants.

 

The mysterious guy chuckled. “Relax. I don’t plan on hurting you. I found you sleeping in the ground.”

 

“What did you do to me you pervert?! Whe-Where am I?"

 

“I said relax. Geez, calm down. I didn’t even touch you. I left you where you were.”

 

Ria was confused. “Then how did-, where are we and who are you? I want the honest truth!”

 

“I’m Lance, Lance Everdrell.”

 

(I know it's short, but the next chapter will be longer.)

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Chapter Two: Lily in Murderland[/b]]

“The Lance Everdrell? The famous earth manipulating hero? You’ve got to be kidding me.”

 

“You wanted the truth, and there you have it.”

 

Ria almost got excited. “To talk to someone this famous, I can’t believe my luck. Wait, I’m still in this arena. We’re supposed to kill each other. I better not anger him. What can a healer do against him?”

 

Ria tried to sound as calm as she can. “Where are we?" asked Ria as she touched the rough walls.

 

“In a house I made from rocks. I can control earth, but you know that. Do you have any powers?”

 

“Would you kill me if I told you no?”

 

“Now why would you ask that?”

 

Ria couldn’t stay calm for so long. “Do you realize where we are? We are in Arina! Some person took us here, and now he or she expects us to kill each other! Don’t you get it? You’re better off killing me. We are enemies!”

 

Lance stood up. “But I didn’t kill you. I know you have powers. Why would someone put a super powered guy against a powerless person? I usually don’t work in teams, but I don’t know what we’re up against. Now are you with me or not?”

 

 

 

Lily was just a young girl. Her life has been hard ever since her parents divorced. She hardly had any friends, and kids at school always tease her. Lily didn’t know she had powers until that day. She was being bullied by a group of boys. Finally, she couldn’t take it anymore. Petals blasted out of her body, and it sent the boys flying. Soon, Lily and her parents found out other powers she had. Her powers differ depending on her emotion. Her powers only activates if she has a certain emotion.

 

Lily wandered through the forest. She cried as she walked. She’s been crying ever since she woke up. The rain hid her tears. The trees moved as she walked through them. Lily can control plants when she’s sad. Yesterday, her mom was supposed to say something important to her. She said it would change their lives. Lily wondered what it was. Was it this? Did her mom know she would be in this arena?

 

Suddenly, Lily heard a rustling in a nearby bush. She ran as fast as she could, making the trees cover her path as she ran. Soon, her sadness turned into fear, and she couldn’t control the trees anymore. Lily can still hear the rustling. She froze in fear. It got louder and louder and suddenly… she teleported. When she’s scared, anything can happen. She was lucky this time. Whatever it was, it could have killed her.

 

Lily went back to crying. Sadness was her emotion again. She ordered the trees to protect her. The trees surrounded her in a dome. She hasn’t slept since that morning, when she heard the voice from the sky. Who knows what time it is now. Lily was about to fall asleepbut then she heard the rustling noise again.

 

Sadness turned into fear, and the trees dispersed. Lily hoped for another miracle, and she got one. The trees became alive and followed the rustling noise. One tree found someone. It was about to smash the person with its gigantic foot, but then…

 

“Stop!!!!!”

[spoiler=[b]Chapter Three: Cloudy with a Chance of Dieing[/b]]

It was too late. The tree didn’t stop. Lily heard a scream of pain and the crunching of bones. She stepped in closer to where the tree stomped on the unfourtunate victim. She was horrified of what she saw. A dead person lay before her eyes. Blood was gushing out everywhere. She even saw bones. She turned around to look away, but she suddenly bumped into someone.

 

“Your powers are amazing. You could have killed me. Good thing that was just a clone.”

 

A white-haired guy wearing a white jumpsuit stood before her. Lily stepped back one step, and then she ran as fast as she could.

 

The mysterious boy ran for her. “Wait, I haven’t even introduced myself!”

 

Lily kept running, but she slammed into another person. She got up, and opened her eyes. She saw the mysterious boy, but this time, there were three of them. She tried to run the other way, but she saw three more.

 

“Well, I think I can properly introduce myself now. My name is Lero Francisco, the multi-clone man. Nice to finally talk to you. I’ve been stalking you. Is that weird?”

 

Lily tried to escape, but the clones grabbed her arms and legs.

 

“You know, you’re not a very nice girl are you? I’m being nice and you try to run away. What kind of person does that? You haven't even introduced yourself. Let’s try this again. My name is Le-“

 

“My name is Lily Fleru. Now let me go!”

 

Lero sighed. “Sad, I was hoping to make an alliance. How about we just don’t kill each other? Does that work for you? Ba-bye now! I'll be seeing you again. Hopefully...”

 

Lily walked away, both scared and confused. What freaked her out was that he was stalking her. She shivered in disgust.

 

The sun was setting, and darkness was growing. The rain had not stopped yet, and it had turned Lily’s blonde hair into a green mess. Her pink t-shirt and her red skirt was drenched.

 

Lily made a house by making large branches sprout out of the trees surrounding her. Then she made a bed of leaves simply by making them grow on the ground. Lily fell asleep as soon as she lay down.

 

 

 

Ria woke up with an aching body as always. The rock house was a nice protection against the rain, but it was an uncomfortable place to sleep in.

 

She took a deep breath. Anything can happen now. "Lance is a strong guy. I should be safe for now. He did promise not to kill me until we were the only two left. That was the plan. Be friends now, be enemies later. Making an alliance is risky, but it does give you better chances."

 

She went outside to find that it had stopped raining. There was even a beautiful rainbow in the sky. The sun shone brightly, and flowers had sprouted. The cool breeze felt good. It was almost as if she was in a paradise. She felt nothing could ruin this moment. She was wrong.

 

“ATTENTION! No one died yesterday so I’m raising the danger level from level one to level two. Expect the weather to be cloudy with a chance of dieing. That is all.”

 

Lance finally woke up just when the announcement was over. “Ugh! Stop screaming already! I’m awake!”

 

“That wasn’t me, you idiot! It was that damn voice from the sky!”

 

Lance sat up. “What did he/she say?”

 

“Something about raising the danger level.”

 

“Well we better get going, I’m starving.”

 

Ria’s stomach growled. She had forgotten about eating. She didn't eat anything at all yesterday. She remembered the last meal before she woke up here. She was eating turkey and mash potatoes with her family. Her stomach growled even louder than before.

 

“Where are we going?” Ria asked while looking down her grumbling stomach.

 

“Into the woods of course.”

 

“Fine with me.”

 

Lance made the rock house submerge into the ground. Then, they took off.

 

Ria sighed. "Whatever kind of game this is, I just want to get it over with."

 

 

 

Ben was having a blast at the party in his house. He invited everyone in his school, even people he didn't know. His parents were out of town, and they left Ben in charge. He put the music to maximum volume, took out all of the food out of the fridge, and screamed out loud. He danced all night long. When he was tired, he stopped and looked at what was happening. The room looked as if it was moving up, down, and side to side. His visions became blurry, and then he fell asleep on the ground.

 

Ben finally woke up. His black hair stuck out everywhere. Markings was on his face. His red shirt was stained with all sorts of juice, beer, and wine, and his blue jeans was wripped in half.

 

“I knew staying up all night was a bad idea. Wait, where am I? This isn’t my house! Where the heck am I!?!"

 

“Oh, hello there sleepyhead. Took you long enough.”

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Chapter Four: Drunks, Stalkers, and Everything Else[/b]]

Ben went completely crazy when Jayline told him what had happened while he was asleep. He was kidnapped? Now he’s in this arena, and he’s part of this game where you have to kill everybody else to survive? He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

 

“Not in a million years! Who are you to tell me all of this? Is this some kind of prank?”

 

Jayline laughed. “This is the real deal. If you don’t believe me, then go ahead and die.”

 

“But this is impossible! You’re lying, and this is some prank made by the guys! Do you hear that guys? You got me!”

 

Jayline kept laughing. “I’m prepared to kill you any second. Now stop screaming before enemies hear us!”

 

Ben wouldn’t listen. “Lalalalala! I can’t hear you!”

 

“You know what? If you’re acting like a kid, I’m going to treat you like one.”

 

Jayline started to whisper softly. Then, purple aura appeared around her body. Her blonde hair turned violet, and her eyes started to glow blue light. The purple aura grew bigger and bigger. Ben stared in awe. He didn’t know what was happening until he was six feet above the ground.

 

“Wa…Wait! What are you doing to me? Put me down!”

 

Jayline whispered more words. Suddenly, a sphere of purple aura imprisoned Ben. Ben’s mouth was moving, but no sound was heard. Jayline walked away, and the sphere containing Ben followed.

 

 

 

Lily woke up with a half-smile on her face. She had a wonderful dream. She was surrounded with friends, her parents were back together again, and she didn’t have her wretched powers. Her life was simple but great. But it was just a dream.

 

Lily heard the same announcement everybody else heard.

 

“Maybe turning down that alliance with the weirdo was a bad idea. Who knows what kind of trouble I might face.”

 

“So! Are you ready to make that alliance yet?”

 

Leru came out of nowhere. It was enough to make Lily scream in fear. Her powers turned Leru into a mouse.

 

“What are you doing her?! Don’t tell me you were still stalking me!”

Another clone appeared at the front of the entrance to Lily’s house of branches.

 

“Hehe…Yeah about that…”

 

“Ugh! How long have you been here?”

 

“A few seconds after that announcement. You gotta let me be in an alliance with you. You gotta!”

 

Lily almost laughed. “Why are you asking a little girl for help? Besides, you’re surviving pretty well.”

 

“Cloning is my only power, and that little girl I’m asking for help happens to be one of the strongest people in Arina.”

 

Lily blushed. “Wha-What are you talking about. I can’t even control my powers well. I’ve been lucky all this time.”

 

“My clones have been wandering all over arena. So far, I’ve seen about eight other people besides us. I know everyone’s powers well, and you’re the fourth strongest out of the ten of us. You just have to learn to control it, and bam, you’ll be super!”

 

“Fine! But you do everything I say and tell me everything you know.”

 

“As you wish master.”

 

Lily smiled. “This weirdo is becoming better and better. Maybe he will be useful.”

 

 

 

“Lance! Lance! Where are you?! I knew splitting up was a bad idea. It’s his fault if he dies.”

 

Ria was starving. She felt as if someone had punched her in the stomach. Ria and Lance had been walking for an hour, yet they still haven’t found anything but the trees. They decided to split up and this is the result.

 

“Come on Lance! I know you’re here somewhere!”

 

A buzzing noise appeared. It sounded like electricity. Soon, flashes of light came.

 

“Lance? Is that yo-“

 

A bright flash blinded Ria. The electrical sound grew louder and louder. Then a loud explosion occurred.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Chapter Five: Big Ben[/b]]

When Ria’s vision became more clear, she saw Lance and another guy. The guy was wearing a green jacket and blue jeans. Electricity surrounded him.

 

The guy shot a bolt of lightning straight at Lance, but he used a block of earth to stop it. Pieces of rock blasted from the collision.

 

The guy with the green jacket smiled. “You are a worthy opponent. Allow me to introduce myself.”

 

Lance laughed. “There’s no need for introducing where we are.”

 

Lance rose up an even bigger block of earth than before. He then broke it into several pieces. The pieces flew to the guy at top speed.

 

Lance smiled. “I’m afraid there’s no way of dodging those rocks.”

 

The guy snickered. The pieces of rock almost hit him, but suddenly, the rocks turned into dust. When the dust cleared up, Ria and Lance saw a barrier of lightning.

 

“My name is Lucas Lotans. Nice to meet you.”

 

Lucas suddenly released a wave of lightning. Lance managed to block it with a giant rock, but he was hit by a second wave. Lance became paralyzed. Lucas shot a few lightning bolts to finish the job, but the bolts suddenly bounced back hit Lucas instead.

 

“But how?”

 

Ria stood in front of Lance with her hands in front of her. She had made a counter barrier that bounced attacks back where they came from.

 

Lucas stood back up. “I forgot about you. At least I paralyzed your boyfriend there.”

 

“He’s not my boyfriend! And don’t worry about him being paralyzed.”

 

Ria closed her eyes. As she opened them, her eyes glowed brightly. The glow moved to Lance’s body, and it covered him. When the glow disappeared, Lucas’s scratches and burn marks were gone. Then he stood up like he was ready for a marathon.

 

“You have healing powers, too? I see why Lance made an alliance with you.”

 

“How do you know my name?”

 

“Have you forgotten that you’re famous?”

 

“Oh. Oh yeah…”

 

Lucas smiled. “Well, I’ll be seeing you guys.”

 

Lucas released a blinding flash. After Ria’s and Lance’s vision became clear, Lucas was no where to be seen.

 

Ria was about to run for him, but Lance stopped her.

 

“We make a pretty good team.”

 

Ria pushed Lance down. “What are you doing? You’re letting him run away!”

 

“Hold on there. He’s gone. Like he said, we’ll be seeing him again. Besides, I think I saw a chicken.”

 

Ria’s stomach growled. “Did you say chicken? You saw a chicken? Well what are we waiting for? You’re letting it run away!”

 

 

 

Jayline looked back to check up on Ben. He was sitting there smiling. She became confused.

 

“Why is he smiling?”

 

Jayline looked away, thinking Ben was just trying to get into her head. Little did she know Ben was getting ready for expansion. His powers allow him to become bigger or become smaller.

 

Ben started growing. Jayline didn’t notice anything wrong until Ben was too big for the sphere. The purple sphere dispersed allowing Ben to be released. Ben continued growing until he was twenty feet tall. Jayline stared in astonishment.

 

“I have powers too you know! Did you really think you can kill me that easily?”

 

Jayline smiled. “Yea, I think I can kill you that easily.”

 

Jayline released a large amount of purple aura. The aura entered Ben’s body, but nothing happened. They waited for a few seconds. Still nothing.

 

Ben laughed loudly. “Is that all? Ha!”

 

Jayline kept smiling. “Wait for it.”

 

Ben was about to say something, but he started shrinking. His mouth fell agape. His faced turned red in embarrassment.

 

“You underestimated my powers. I drained you're energy. That's why you're probably feeling tired. Now come on. We better hurry before they find us.”

 

“Who are they?”

 

“Anyone who saw you when you were twenty feet tall you idiot.”

 

“Uhh, I think we’re too late.”

 

“Why do you say…that.”

 

Jayline saw what Ben meant when she turned around. There, stood three people.

 

Ernest chuckled. “Well well. What do we have here? If it isn’t Ms. Perfect.”

 

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=Part Two: Let's Get Ready to Rumble]

[spoiler=[b]Chapter Six: The Terrorizing Three[/b]]

Jayline was surprised to see an old enemy. Ernest Marlone goes to the same school Jayline goes to. Jayline was the best in her class. Ernest was always second. He has tried countless times to beat Jayline, but she remained the victor.

 

Jayline was surprised to see Ernest in Arina. She tried to speak, but no words came out.

 

Ben, in the other hand, had no idea who he was, what his powers are, and he didn’t know Jayline knew him. Ben looked at what they’re up against. There was Ernest with his red hair, his red eyes, his red shirt, and his brown pants. He looked fierce, but Ben wasn’t afraid. There was a little girl whose skin looked as pale as a dead man. She even had pale hair and pale eyes. She was also wearing a white shirt and a purple skirt. Ben had no worries that he and Jayline would beat her. She looked so young. Her face showed no emotion. It was like nothing was happening. Then there was the blueish silver-haired guy who looked like he was about to kill someone. He looked older than most of the people here. He was wearing black jeans and an orange shirt. Ben felt a chill when he looked at him.

 

Ben whispered to Jayline. “I don’t know their powers. Should we run away?”

 

Jayline said nothing. She looked like she was frozen in fear. No, she looked frozen literally. Her body wasn’t moving which means she wasn’t breathing. Her mouth stayed opened slightly. Her eye lids weren’t moving either, but she was looking at something. She was looking at the guy with the orange shirt. Ben started to worry.

 

He talked softly. “Jayline? Are you okay?”

 

Ben looked at the blue-haired guy. Suddenly, his body turned cold. He tried to look away, but he couldn’t move his head. He tried to talk but he couldn’t move his mouth. He tried to run away, but he couldn’t move a single part of his body.

 

Ben panicked. “What- What’s happening?!”

 

Ernest laughed loudly. “I’ll finish them off.”

 

Balls of fire appeared in his hands. His eyes glowed orange. Heat spread throughout the area.

 

The blue- haired guy shrugged. “Hurry up. I can’t keep them frozen with your stupid fire around me.”

 

The balls of fire in Ernest’s hand vanished. “Would you shut up Zane?! I almost had them!”

 

Zane shouted back. “You’re too slow! Why did I even join this stupid alliance?!”

 

Zane’s focus was lost. Ben and Jayline unfroze. This was their chance. Ben quickly started growing, and Jayline got her purple aura ready for action.

 

Zane and Ernest turned around to find Ben was thirty feet tall. Both of them were too busy looking up to see purple energy balls were heading straight for them. Zane and Ernest were pushed back a couple feet. Their backs smashed into a tree.

 

Zane got back up fast. He made himself an armor of ice that covered his entire body. Then, he shot shards of ice at Jayline, but she stopped it. The shards glowed purple. Jayline was now in control of it, but Zane can control it, too. Jayline and Zane kept pushing the shards away as they flew back and forth like a ping pong game.

 

Ernest was still unconscious. Ben was looking around for the little girl, but even with his tall height, he still couldn’t spot her.

 

Jayline finally had it. She shot a purple beam from her eyes. Zane swiftly made a wall of ice. The beam melted the ice halfway, but Jayline grew tired. Zane was tired, too. They both breathed heavily. Sweats were coming out of their bodies.

 

Jayline was about to attack again, but she was suddenly punched in the face. Dust and wind blew from the west. She was punched again on the other side of her face. Wind blew from the east. She didn’t know what was happening. Her nose was bleeding and she was coughing out blood. She made a purple barrier just in time. The fist of the puncher was bleeding. It was pale girl.

 

“My name is Luma.”

 

She said this, but then she disappeared. Wind blew around Jayline. She looked up and saw nothing but dust. The dust was spinning around her. She then realized she was in the middle of a mini tornado. The wind was shredding parts of her clothes. Suddenly, the air ignited. Ernest was conscious again. The area where Jayline was exploded.

 

 

Her ear was ringing. Her vision was fading. Jayline heard screams from Ben and laughs from Ernest. The sounds surrounding her were slowly disappearing. Then, all she heard was the ringing, and she couldn’t see anything.

 

Ben screamed. “You’ll pay for this!”

 

Ben grew even larger. He grew and grew until he was fifty feet tall.

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Chapter Seven: Shouts and Screams[/b]]

Ben let out a loud deep scream. Luma ran away quickly. She ran in a speed of seventy miles per hour. A fog of dust covered her tracks. Ben was looking for Ernest. He’s the one that made the explosion.

 

Zane and Ernest split up. Zane shot giant shards of ice while running, but to fifty feet Ben, the shards were just ant bites. Ernest tried slowing him down too by making a gigantic wall of fire, but it wasn’t big enough to stop Ben.

 

Ben had trouble finding Ernest. He was so tall Zane and Ernest looked like little bugs. Luckily, Ernest was stupid enough to try and block him with a wall of fire. To Ben, it was just a sign that says: “Hey look! I’m over here!”

 

Ben’s giant stomps caused mini earthquakes. He stomped on anything on fire with hopes that he would kill Ernest. After an hour of chasing, Ben grew tired. He started shrinking and shrinking until he was his regular size again. He quit trying to kill Ernest and started heading back to Jayline. Even though he had only known her for several hours, he had grown fond for her. After all, she was his only friend in Arina.

 

When Ben got to where the explosion was, he was surprised to find no body. All kinds of things entered his mind; what happened? Was her body blown to bits? Did someone else find her body and took her? Is she alive?

 

 

 

Ria and Lance had not given up on finding the chicken. Even though it might have been just a mirage, they still decided it was real. It was their only hope of finding food.

 

Finally, they heard the chicken. They followed the sound slowly. They didn’t want to scare it away. A clucking sound of the chicken grew louder and louder. Then, they saw the plump chicken on top of a grassy hill.

 

The sun was setting, and the chicken looked golden. Ria’s eyes opened wide. Lance slowly made a prison by raising the ground around the chicken. When the earth walls were high enough, he put a lid on top of the rectangular prison. Ria looked at Lance, and he looked at her. Then, they ran for the chicken. They got to the chicken, but they bumped into some guy wearing a white jumpsuit. Ria and Lance got ready for battle.

 

The guy looked at them unusually. “Eh, who are you?”

 

A little girl appeared right behind him. “Leru come over here! We might run into…Uh oh.”

 

Lance made a gigantic sphere of rocks. He got ready to throw at the mysterious strangers.

 

Lily screamed. “Stop!”

 

It was too late. Lance had already released the humongous rock. Lily closed her eyes in a flash. Out of nowhere, a huge tree rose from the ground. The colossal ball of rock smashed into the tree, and it broke into several pieces.

 

Lance thought he had killed them. When the dust from the impact cleared out, instead of two dead bodies, Ria and Lance saw a giant tree and bits of the former enormous rock. The tree submerged. Lily and Leru were cowering with their hands over their heads.

 

Lily turned around. “I’m very sorry. Please don’t kill us.”

 

Lance was about to say something, but a beaming light made him stop.

 

“Why wasn’t I invited to this party?” Lucas appeared on top of the rock containing the chicken.

 

“This isn’t a party you dumb-“

 

Lucas ignored Ria. “I want a part of whatever inside this.”

 

Lance already threw a barrage of rocks at Lance, but, without looking, Lucas obliterated all the pebbles and turned them into dust.

 

“I was gonna share, but I guess killing you all would be nice.”

 

Ria’s head couldn’t focus on one thing. Three enemies at once. Lucas alone was hard enough, but now there’s the mysterious pair. Lance and Lucas were screaming at each other, and the little girl and the weirdo were having an argument. Ria was about to scream, but then it happened.

Nope, the story's not bad at all.

 

Sounds good so far (albeit short), but there are some things I feel you should work on a bit...

- Ria fainted Ria said Ria was confused Ria gathered her thoughts AAH TOO MUCH RIA!! Use "she" more often, so as not to disorient us with all of these Rias.

- Describe some more. Huh. Trees. Knowing more about colors can add to the atmosphere of a story. Also, Ria has blue eyes and that's about it. She's bald or something? Remember to describe characters too.

- What shelter? Lance once said, “So…You used your powers to build this…This shelter.” (By the way, "This" should be lowercased.) Those trees were a shelter? She made a shelter? Wut WHAAAAA!?!? When did THAT happen?

- It's kind of really fast-paced. Make sure that whatever you decide to add doesn't just state what we already figured, like "Lily can control plants when she’s sad." That kind of shows and doesn't tell, especially since you already stated that she was bullied and made lilies attack people.

 

Not a bad story. Keep working on this'n.

 

(Also, I've read the Hunger Games and its sequel. Good reading, that it is. Hope you don't try to emulate the story, which it doesn't seem like you're doing, even if Everdrell and Everdeen are kinda similar but not their characters.)

Thanks for the post. I'll try improve. I'm trying the best I can to make it not sound like The Hunger Games. That shelter was a house made of rocks made by Lance. Forgot about describing the characters, kinda focused that on the character section.

 

(It's my first time, so mistakes are common)

Name: Lucas Lotans

Appearence: Blonde Hair, Brown eyes, Wears black shirt with green jacket

Personality: Talkative, Perseverence

Bio: 12-Year old male, Lucas has a liking for electronics. Before he ended up here, he used his powers to resist bullying. He isn't greedy, but he's a tad selfish.

Powers: Lucas can generate electricity, not unlike Force Lightning from Star Wars. He can either use it to attack, or he can make a barrier with it. He can also electrify objects and use them as projectiles.

Thanks for the comment. There's twenty contestants. I haven't revealed all the characters. Part one is all about the alliances. That's why it was called Be Friends Now, Be Enemies Later. Again, your character will be on part two. Part Two will be called Let's Get Ready to Rumble. Each Part is five chapters by the way.

 

(Chapter 4 is delayed. I'm away from my house where I have my computer. I have already started on chapter four, but I saved it on my computer. So I can't do anything until I get back.)

Personality:Cold arrogant isolated shy takes time to open to people will not hesitate it killing someone if he thinks he needs too

Bio(Include:Age&Gender):17 male He grew up without a mother she died giving birth to him his dad openly hated and blamed him for that and barly cared or even took notice of him but so he was cold to any one who tryed to get close to him but one girl who he began to love whos name is Amy began to break his shell that was thicker than ice and not before suddenly appeared in the Arina

Powers(Not Overpowered Please) can control water and ice can create and manipulate ice by taking the water around him and freezing it and create weapons of water and or ice

Good news! Chapter 4 is done! I just need to add some finishing touches. Four was kinda rushed since I'm going to be out during the weekend. Expect the last chapter of part one somewhere in the middle of next week.

Name: Luma Strafer

Appearence: Pale, shoulder-length hair, Pale blue eyes, white shirt with a purple skirt

Personality: Very shy and self-contained, never trusts anybody regardless

Bio: Female, 11 years old, Luma (Short for Lumastar, long for Lu, as she says), has no parents. She has no close relatives, so it wasn't a huge blow to her to end up in the Arina.

Powers: Luma can control the wind and is also extremely fast.

It looks like you'll have a hard time filling in all 20 spots, so I came up with one more. This is my last idea... intentionally.

 

Name: Ernest Malone

Appearence: Red hair, Red eyes, Red shirt with brown pants

Personality: Hot-tempered

Bio: 15-Year old male, Ernest is an enigmatic fella. He's always had a passion for warm or hot places and HATED winter. He uses his powers mostly on campouts.

Powers: He uses fire to attack. He can also surround himself with a ring of flames to defend himself.
