I was just thinking up some ideas on Spell Counters interacting with Synchro level's after they were substituted for levels in a Ritual Spell I made in BringerofCake's thread. Here are various results and ideas that have come from this:

 

I'm pretty sure my OCG is readable in most cases. Since this is a concept and probably not going to be moved to the YCCGEE or any other format, at least in this form, don't correct my OCG further unless it creates a serious level of confusion about something.

 

Phantom Projectionist

Spellcaster/Tuner 1400/1600 Level 3 Wind

When a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. You can remove any number of Spell Counters from this card and send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon a Spellcaster-Type monster from your Extra Deck whose level is equal to this monster's level plus the number of Spell Counters removed.

 

Phantom Summoner

Spellcaster/Tuner 1300/1300 Level 4 Wind

You can remove any number of Spell Counters from your side of the field to Special Summon 1 "Phantom Tuning Token" (0 ATK/0 DEF/Wind/Spellcaster/Level ?). This token cannot be tributed and its level becomes the number of Spell Counters removed from the field to Summon it.


The above was the original idea. The below is the form it twisted into.


Phantom Magician

Continuous Spell

After activation, Special Summon this card in Defense Position; it is treated as a Effect Monster Card (Spellcaster-Type/Dark/Level 3/ATK 1200/DEF 1600). It is treated as a tuner. You cannot Normal Summon this turn. When a Spell Card is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. You can remove any number of Spell Counters from this card and send this card to the Graveyard and Synchro Summon a monster from your Extra Deck whose level is equal to this monster's level plus the number of Spell Counters removed. Only 1 "Phantom Magician" can be activated per turn.

 

Phantom Mystic Seer

Continuous Spell

After activation, Special Summon this card in Attack Position; it is treated as a Effect Monster Card (Spellcaster-Type/Light/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). This card is treated as a tuner monster. You cannot Normal Summon this turn. You can remove any number of Spell Counters from your side of the field to Special Summon 1 "Phantom Tuning Token" (0 ATK/0 DEF/Wind/Spellcaster/Level ?). This token cannot be tributed and its level becomes the number of Spell Counters removed from the field to Summon it. Once per turn, reduce the level of a monster you control by 2. Only 1 "Phantom Mystic Seer" can be activated per turn.

 

Phantom Magician Girl

Continuous Spell

After activation, Special Summon this card in Attack Position; it is treated as a Effect Monster Card (Spellcaster-Type/Dark/Level 5/ATK 2000/DEF 500). You cannot Normal Summon this turn. You can remove this card in your Graveyard from play while you control a "Phantom Magician" or "Phantom Mystic Seer" to Special Summon 1 "Phantom Tuning Token" (0 ATK/0 DEF/Light/Spellcaster/Level 5). This token cannot be tributed. Only 1 "Phantom Magician Girl" can be activated per turn."

 

Black Magician Phantom

Synchro/Spellcaster DARK

Level 8

2600 ATK/1900 DEF

Phantom Magician + 1 or more Spell Counters or 1 or more non-tuner monsters.

When this card is Synchro Summoned, place 1 Spell Counter on all cards on the field you can place a Spell Counter on. Once per turn, flip a monster your opponent controls face-down.

 

Holy Templar Phantom

Synchro/Spellcaster LIGHT

Level 4

1600 ATK/3000 DEF

Phantom Mystic Seer + 1 or more non-tuner monsters.

This card is treated as a tuner monster. You can remove 2 Spell Counters from your side of the field to remove this card from play until the End Phase.

 

Magician of Realized Chaos

Accel Synchro/Spellcaster DARK

Level 12

3800/3000

Holy Templar Phantom + Black Magician Phantom

This monster is also treated as a LIGHT monster. Negate the effects of monsters which do not activate on the field. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can remove this card from play until the End Phase. When this card is removed from play, when this card is removed from play, return 1 card on the field to its owner's hand.

 

I personally don't like how it ended up, but it's just a concept after all. Comments on the ideas and which bits worked, please?

As far as I know, Accel Synchros don't have a categorization of their own, but do as you wish with that one.

 

All of these would be godly in Endymion decks: Phantom City could be very fast. You seem to have screwed up quite a bit on Phantom Magician Girl, though: "Phantom Tuner" doesn't exist, as far as I can see, and "Phantom Magician" is a Spell while it's anywhere but on the field; in other words, it can't be Special Summoned.

 

All in all a good archetype, but PMG needs fixing badly.

Ah. I see what I did wrong. The entire first half of the sentance should have been deleted. I've fixed that now. Thanks for pointing out the, rather major, wording flaw.

 

And yes, these were mostly intended for City builds. It would be nearly impossible to Summon Black Magician Phantom with Phantom Magician without the use of City, 5 spells since he was Summoned is quite a lot.
