Windows Vista IS actually better than Windows XP, but the main reason why people don't like it, is because the interface threw people off. Mainly people too used to XP.

 

Mmm... In terms of Windows 7 compared to Vista, it really depends on what you use it for.

 

If you're a developer and/or a programmer, it'll definitely be a burden. Vista itself is already pretty bad for it.

 

I'm sure there are other things bad with 7, like a crappy task bar.

 

Honestly, 7 is basically Vista with some visual upgrades. That's really it. If you just turn off updates on your Vista and add some plugins for visuals, you have yourself a Windows 7.

My mum and dad both use Vista, and they kept on complaining on the sudden lag.
