[Magnet Soldier]

OOC: Radio It was Hrash that is in the infirmary. I'm unconcious in the cafeteria and one of the guys that was helping me up just let go of me. I'll just say that I got to the infirmary.

 

IC: Infirmary

Kris was taken through the door by a boy that had helped him. Kris thanked the boy as he left and noticed Gemin and John over on the other side of the room. "Hey." He said, "Sorry about earlier. We took it a little far didn't we?" Kris laughed, and then stopped as when he laughed it started to hurt his chest. He coughed bt it died down. He just layed back in bed, wondering when he'd be able to get out.

Infirmary

John streched his hand out to shake Kris'. "It's just a duel, let's not forget... even though that's why we're here. At any rate I don't know why I played this card, that was the first time... ugh. I've got a much better card up my sleeve."

He noticed Gemin staring at his card. "It's a strange card, I know. I found it near Industrial Illusions."

[Dark Lightning]

Jarred watched Donny as he dueled

"He's not too...bad..." he said, shuffling around his deck

Might have to battle him some time...

Jarred then went into the Infirmary to check on Kris.

Infirmary

Jarred walked over to Kris

"You alright, man?"

[Magnet Soldier]

"Yeah I'm fine." Kris said to Jarred. "Any way, is someone dueling? I thought I heard someone challenge someone else just before I passed out."

[Dark Lightning]

Jarred nodded as he looked towards where the duel took place, a few rooms away.

"Yeah, Donny and some guy that I haven't met yet..." he sighed.

Then he looked back at Kris

"Any way, you gonna stay and rest, or will you be up and running in a couple of minutes?" he said, his hands in his pockets and his hair covering his eye.

[Sorrow.]

Cafeteria

" Hold up I play Magical Cylinder which means that you just attacked yourself!"

Donny drew 2 cards and smiled to himself. "First I play the Spell Card Axe of Despair and equip it to Fury Hero - Sub Zero Master and he gains an extra 1000 ATK. Next I play the Spell Card Mystical Space Typhoon which allows me to destroy one Spell or Trap Card. And I destroy the card you just placed down. Now Fury Hero - Sub Zero Master ATTACK Immortal Archer!".

 

LP: 1600 You: 0.

 

"Thats how I beat my father Aaron Pulvera." Then girls started cheering and saying things like, Go Donny your so hot. Pheew I almost lost!, Donny said to himself and quickly rushed to the Infirmary. As he entered he saw Jarred and Kris, " Hey guys whats up?"

[Dark Lightning]

Jarred smiled as he turned around

"Finished...So soon, Donny?" he sighed.

He then turned back to his deck

"I'll make sure to duel you sometime...I look forward to it..."

Cafeteria

Ken walks over to Peter, "wow you've been beat twice already.. guess you weren't kidding before about not being so good at dueling". Ken then turns walking torwards the Infirmary, "well seeya later".

Infirmary

Ken walks into the room with Kris in seeing Donny, Jarred and Kris. "i guess this room is kind of getting crowded, i'll wait outside.. Duel you?" he asks Donny just before he walks back out of the room.

Infirmary

"Hey donny. Yeah I'm fine. That guy's good." He said, pointing at John, "So I had to go as strong as I could." Kris sat up a little. "So, how was the duel, was he good? Oh and what are your cards?" Kris asked. He wanted to know. Hearing and watching duels made it feel as if he healed quicker.

[Sorrow.]

Infirmary

"I beat him in 2 moves hows that for dueling. Magical Cylinder and Mystical Space Typhon are charms," Donny said to his friends. " My deck is made to throw his hand away just like that." Donny snapped his fingers and then he said, " My dad is a great duelist but not the best. I've beaten him before. Aaron Pulvera the duelist who defeated Jack Atlus and Yusei." That made the whole room hush down.

"And who said they were the best? I bated them when they were ten. I was 7. Hows That for dueling?" Kris said with a smile. He always resisted the urge to laugh and smild intead.

Infirmary

John was in a rather bad mood, as one usually would be after losing a Duel even after pulling out a Dark Synchro Monster. He needed to redeem himself.

And he hated show-offs. Not to mention the fact that this Donny Pulvera used Magic Cylinder, perhaps the most amateur card ever released to the public.

Putting two and two together, he saw his chance to redeem himself.

"Hey Donny," he said sweetly, so as to be nice--he didn't know much about Donny as a person and didn't want to insult. "Duel?'

IC: Infirmary

Kris admired John now because even though he was in a hospital bed after a rarther intense duel he still had the strength to challenge someone for a duel. Kris stepped out of bed feeling much better. He limped to the door and said, "Dont over do it again John and watch out Donny." He smiled for the first time in years.

Cafeteria

Kris limped into the cafeteria and noticed quite a few people glance faces full of hatred and fear at him, after all, he'd just beat a dark synchro. He limped over to the counter where they served food and got a burger and then sat down to eat by himself in a corner of the room.

Peter walked over to a quiet table and sat down. Everyone at the table quickly got up and walked away. "Hey, kid, your the one who lost the only 2 of your duels here! You suck more than a vampire!" a kid said to him. All the kids in the cafeteria started laughing and throwing food at Peter. "White eyed freak!" also went around the room. In such rage, Peter punched the first kid in the face who said anything to him, and his face turned red. Everyone turned silent. The kid got up and walked away.

Cafeteria

Ken walks over near Peter, "just calm down, its the usual bunch of idiots you see at places" he says. Ken then assumes a Stance so to easily duck if Peter tried to punch him aswell, "just calm down, think of something that will occupy you currently". Ken looks at peter, watching him trying to read if he was going to hit him or not, preparing to duck while he watched him. "If my deck was just only Ninja cards that dragon might of actually been able to win you know?".

John stood up. He picked his silver Duel Disk up off the table and slid his deck into it.

"So?" he asked. "What say you? If you're so full of yourself--thinking you can beat Yusei and Jack, my idols..."

[Sorrow.]

Infimiary

Donny looked at him blankly, " I said my father beat Yusei and Jack Atlus, and I beat him." Donny shrugged and said, " Let me think about that I just almost lost in a duel I need to make a new strategy. How about 2 days from now (Friday I'll be on mostly)".

John chuckled.

"Your dad beat Yusei and Jack--something I don't doubt, mind--and you say you beat your dad? You might not have meant it but you implied it. It's simple mathematical reasoning: if a>b, and c>a, then quite clearly c>b. I just lost a Duel even after summoning a Dark Synchro and I've already thought of an alternate strategy--more deadly than what I used against Kris. If you call yourself a Duelist you'll Duel me right now." (btw I'm never on when the rest of you are. Just so you know.)

Gemin was in listening to the entire exchange. Haseo had a valid point, although this other kid's father must be one heck of a duelist to beat both Yusei and Jack. However, there were some flaws in John's logic...

"There is a such thing as an upset win." Gemin said in response to John. "Any duelist can beat another given the proper cards and possibly Luck of the Draw. Probability is always on the favorite's side, but the underdog always has a chance, no matter how slim, of winning a given duel." He hoped that didn't come out too strong. He didn't want people to hate him on the first day.

 

They needed to see his tests first.

Cafeteria

Kris got up from his seat. He walked across to the table with Peter and Ken sitting at it. "Hello, you must be peter? The guy who lost to Donny. I just want to say dont punch idiots. It's unhealthy." Kris said with a smile, a fake one but still a comforting smile, on his face. Inside he hated himself because already he could hear girls saying things about him and he didn't want to end up like Donny, hiding in toilets. He almost laughed at the thought but held it in, not being helped by the funny white eyes of Peter. He held out his hands to peterand Ken for a handshake.

John turned to Gemin.

"You're absolutley correct, Mr. Gemin. However we've got the probability of three, cases to consider here. In any case I wasn't going to argue about my assumption. I was challenging him to a Duel, because I took it in such and such a way. If he didn't mean it then fine, but I won't run from the Duel if he accepts."

Ken looked up at Kris shaking his hand slightly "you must be the guy from before right? the one who passed out?". Ken then pulls out paper swiftly making Origami figurines laying three out infront of him, each depicting a ninja monster from Ken's deck. "your name was Kris, right?, well i don't suppose you'd want to duel not with duel disks.. old fashioned way over this table after all im guessing it wouldn't look too good if you went again if we get good enough card in hand..".

"Sure, why not?" Kris said, sighing. He grabbed his deck from his back pocket. As he was about to place it on the table he noticed the bottom card. Cyber kuriboh old buddy. I hope your ready. I'm too tired for this. He thought to himself. He thought he saw the picture wink at him but he decided it was his imagination. "Ok, do you want to go first or me?" He said as he shuffled and placed his deck on the table.

Kenny takes out his deck shuffling it and placing it down on the table. "you may go first, after all i didn't get to catch how you and the other guy started off before". Kenny then drew five cards looking up at Kris, a very slight smile on his face "excellent, now all i will need is one more card that i kno has to be here and i can set it up". Kenny looks over at Peter slightly, "buddy are you still awake there?" he asks quietly seeing as he hadn't responded much.
